Zoey spends the last few days of Summer Vacation in the Plane of Fire She only sees glimpses of Anji's dad She sees a lot of Anji's stepmoms though, who Anji hates The Angels press Zoey for gossip, particularly about Carmilla They tell her that she owes them, and has to spend more time with them next vacation Zoey agrees Summer Vacation ends, and the students of Wyrm Academy return to campus Carmilla nearly tackles Aurora out of excitement Aurora assures Carmilla that she did not forget the gift, and pulls out a plague doctor mask Carmilla is moved to tears Aurora tells her to put it on Carmilla thought it was just for decoration, but agrees Carmilla goes to ask Doya to take a picture of her Carmilla accidentally terrifies Doya Rin asks Vladimir how his summer was Vladimir complains about the heat and humidity Zoey and Larksann catch up on what happened Larksann mentioned that she was working on something, but didn't finish it, and so brought the piece to school Urzmaktok asks White how campus was while he was gone He tells White that his home was also hot, but with a different type of heat Greta rambles about her family to Doya Rin remembers the souvenirs he got from Valtahost, and begins to deliver them to our group He gives Aurora and Carmilla sunglasses to help with Lux Concordia's lights Carmilla excuses herself in a suspicious way Aurora wonders why Rin suggests that it's related to his blood Aurora is horrified, and asks who all knows about it Rin admits that it was just his immediate friends He adds that Doya thinks that Aurora has a crush on him Aurora is disgusted, and apologizes for it She asks Rin for peanut butter, and explains that she wants to put it on Carmilla's pillow as a revenge prank Rin supplies the peanut butter, but is hesitant to help her Meanwhile, Carmilla goes to Nicollin's dorm and asks him how his summer was Nicollin describes the seminars about seminars that he attended He asks if Carmilla did vampire things over the summer Carmilla doesn't answer, and asks to speak to Nicollin Nicollin offers to take a message Carmilla tries to slip by to talk to him directly Sunny notices, and tells Carmilla that he didn't do much during that time Classes begin, and all the first assignments are to just write about what happened over Summer Vacation Throughout the day, our group hear rumors that Anji and Zanther broke up Our group, except Zoey, are targeted by their usual bullies Rin goes to speak to Doya He explains that he struggled to decide what to get her from Valtahost, and shows her a pen Doya clicks on the pen, and a red dot appears where it is pointing Next, Rin goes to talk to Larksann and Zoey in their dorm He shows them his gift for them - a mechanical puppy toy Larksann and Zoey are ecstatic Zoey asks what she owes Rin for it Rin assures her that these type of things are normal in Valtahost The two discuss Valtahost's oddities

Next, Rin goes to talk to White He is stopped when Chadriz exits his room Chadriz demands to know what Rin is looking at, before storming away Rin reaches White's room He explains to Urzmaktok and White that he got toys for the others, but thought that they would appreciate more practical items He gives them devices that clean dust from an area White expresses his gratitude, saying that gifts from a friend are always appreciated The students of Wyrm Academy's first year students return to their normal boring standard, leaving some wishing for the return of adventure Our group hears about the upper classman's fashion shows and masquerade dances They also hear about the Dragon House Mage Tower games They overhear students talking about the Dragon Houses, and how Laelia was retired as a mascot and replaced with another more terrifying mascot Laelia tries to convince Doya to join the Mage Tower team Doya refuses, telling Laelia that she hates sports Laelia insists, claiming that sports will make her cool Doya counters that she prefers her free time, and isn’t a mage anyway Laelia points out that Mage Tower doesn't require its players to be mages Doya is unmoved

While nothing major occurs in the later half of the year, there is still some excitement During Inkomancy class, Carmilla is surprised by a pop quiz in her She panics, but goes on to ace it After class, she is approached by a student who offers a necklace Carmilla drops it and hisses when she learns it's made out of silver Nandor wonders why the student gave her that, and comments that fiends don't live silver either During the Arcano-botany class, Puffcap accidentally creates a mushroom that explodes into vines Zoey dodges the vines, and receives praise for it During a trip into the Sedgemoor, Doya saves Zanther from falling into the mud Zanther is grateful Doya jokes that she was worried that Zanther would be extinguished by the water She asks why he and Anji broke up Zanther explains that Anji simply got bored of their relationship During Physical Education, White spots a giant rat fighting off some creatures while sparring with Quentillius Antiphiun Melentor III The two go to investigate White notices some goo in the rat's hair The two hear screeches as two stirges descend and attack! FIGHT! White incinerates them with burning sand, Quentillius congratulates his hard work VICTORY! As Magical Physiologies begins, the students enter to see Professor Sharpbeak feeding a hippogriff Professor Sharpbeak asks the class about it Angelique gives a dictionary definition about it Sharpbeak tells the class that this hippogriff is named Goldfeather, and that she has worked with it a lot Sharpbeak explains that the class is to use their knowledge about hippogriffs and try to pet it The Angels are able to pet it Carmilla and White are able to as well Doya and Zoey get snapped at Rin is afraid, but is able to eventually approach and pet it That night, Doya walks home from her job and sees a line of students confessing their feelings to Anji and giving her gifts She spots Rin, who thinks there's food at the front, in the line too

Rin reaches the front of the line Anji asks him what he wants She's baffled when he has no idea what's happening She admits that she finds all of this annoying, and would rather not deal with all of this Rin offers to help her reject all of the students Anji is grateful, and leaves as her familiar and Rin start rejecting students for her Doya approaches Anji when she is alone Anji tells Doya to go to the line if she wants to confess Doya assures her that she doesn't want to confess She wonders if people liking Anji like that was a curse Anji tells her no Doya offers her a sandwich Anji hesitates, and takes it Doya tries to ask Anji about the party and the theater She asks Anji about magic instead Doya rambles about how she can't do magic The two discuss whether her aasimar traits are magic or not Doya asks to see Anji cast magic Anji refuses, but relents when Doya offers to give Anji a picture of herself Anji throws the sandwich, and retrieves it via magic She explains that it is her favorite spell since allows her to be lazy Doya honors the agreement, and takes two pictures of Anji - one for Anji, and one for herself Anji admires her picture for a little too long Anji then leaves, and takes some of the presents that Rin had harvested from the rejected students as she goes

Carmilla is awakened by the sounds of Aurora doing her morning preparations and opening the window Carmilla is annoyed, and asks Aurora why the windows was opened She sees Aurora in surprisingly bright colors, with her hair in a ponytail Carmilla is concerned, and asks Aurora what's happening Aurora doesn't know what's wrong, and asks Carmilla if they're good to hang out later She tells Carmilla to take some medication to calm herself down Carmilla starts to freak out, and goes to Doya's dorm She is greeted by a skinny and weak Greta Doya, whose hair is not messy and whose halo is floating, then approaches Carmilla freaks out She then goes to Rin's room A confident and suave Vladimir opens the door, and tells Rin that Carmilla is there An equally confident yet messy Rin says hello to Carmilla Carmilla freaks out anymore, and goes to find White She goes to his dorm and encounters Urzmaktok, who threatens her but eventually lets her pass She finds White, who is out of sorts and slow to respond to anything Desperate to find anyone sane, Carmilla goes to Zoey's dorm Along the way she encounters Dismay and Violence, who are peppy and wearing bright colors She reaches Zoey's dorm, and is greeted by Larksann who casually swears at Carmilla Carmilla is scandalized Zoey speaks up, and coldly tells Carmilla to leave Carmilla stops, and realizes that everyone is the opposite of who they should be She realizes that she needs to find the worst person imaginable She goes to find Chadriz She finds him, and asks to speak to him alone Chadriz asks if she is okay Carmilla admits that she is not, and is freaking out She asks what she is normally like Chadriz tells her that she's normally more distant, and a cheerleader Carmilla enters a panic She decides to try to speak to her patron As she and Chadriz heads to her dorm, Chadriz pulls her into his dorm Carmilla sees why, as a Drazhomir walks by and beats another students senseless The two resume their journey, but are stopped by Doya Doya asks Carmilla where Carmilla is taking her boyfriend Carmilla insults Doya Doya breaks into tears Chadriz comforts Doya The three gather the rest of our group, and head towards Carmilla's dorm They have to dodge a chicken, and Max tries get them with a prank Carmilla makes a detour at Nicollin and Sunny's room The door is opened by another halfling, who asks why Carmilla wants to speak with the boss Carmilla assures the halfling that she's there for Nicollin, not Sunny Sunny demands tribute for even being tangentially bothered Carmilla offers the silver necklace, and speaks to Nicollin Nicollin is quiet He springs into activity though, and tells Carmilla that he was just sleepy Our group, Chadriz, and Nicollin gather in Carmilla's room Carmilla tries to contact her patron, and fails She asks the rest of the group who they think her patron is They tell her that she's not a warlock, but a cleric of the Tabaxi God Carmilla does her best to hold off a meltdown Doya suggests that she talk to Rika, since Rika is smart After a moment, Carmilla realizes that Rika is the inverse nickname for Anjarika She goes to where Anji's room should be, and finds Mailu and the rest of Missing Peace in prayer Mailu calmly tells Carmilla that Rika is with her two friends Carmilla is nearly hit by a skateboarding Rampart She goes to Angelika's dorm The door is opened by a meek and bespectacled Anjarika Carmilla explains that she needs help, and Rika is the only one that can help her Rika lets her in Carmilla enters to see a lazy Angelique, and a quiet Angelika in the corner Carmilla discusses the possibility of alternate timelines with Doya, Rika, and an annoyed Zoey Carmilla pleads with the group, explaining that everyone is wrong Rika offers to help Carmilla figure out what is wrong

Angelique and Rin scheme on how to get to Carmilla world, since they're smart there Carmilla realizes that an inverted Yasha would be willing to help Rika informs Carmilla that Yasha is a Spring Eladrin Carmilla, along with the rest of our group and the Angels, go to find an elevator They pass by a pathetic and ugly Zanther Carmilla is stopped Quentillius, who insists on helping Carmilla and being called Quentin They pass by Johrel and Vhalshera, who are smoking They are stopped by Nadia, who scolds them for running Dean Kol, who is a deva, rescues them When Carmilla calls him dad, Kol assures her that he is not her guardian but thinks that it would be nice The group find the elevator, and file into it The elevator begins to descend down the Hexpiral Pit Carmilla comments on how nice the Angels are here The elevator reaches the bottom, and after a little bit of walking the group finds themselves at Yasha's office They see Yasha dancing to music, but she stops when she sees the students

She asks the students to sit, and offers to help with whatever problems they are having Carmilla desperately explains the situation Yashs suggests that it is a dream, and that maybe being pinched or slapped would help Angelique happily obliges, but nothing changes Yasha suggests maybe the sensation of falling would help She asks Carmilla to close her eyes, and then tips over Carmilla's chair Carmilla opens her eyes, and sees the inside of her coffin She bolts up, and checks that her birds are there They are, as Carmilla has returned to the waking world! She is pleasantly surprised to a normally goth Aurora Carmilla rapidly explains what happened Aurora suggests that Carmilla calm down and take a shower Carmilla goes to check if Rin is normal She finds him, and Rin is back to his usual self Carmilla hugs Rin Rin notices peanut butter on the back of her head Carmilla leaves to go check on the other members of our group

Our group see a fish man sitting forlornly on a rock with more water creatures trying to talk to it Our group asks the creatures why the fish man is sad The creatures admit that they don't know They describe how the fish man, who is the Wave King, won 26 surfing championships Zoey wonders if they asked him what was wrong The creatures tell her that would be rude of them Zoey asks the Wave King anyways The Wave King replies in Aquan, and tells her that he doesn't feel any more drive He explains that he already has mastered the waves, and feels as though they've changed for the worse Doya asks if he can speak in Common The Wave King dries his lips, and speaks in raspy Common Doya offers to show him a challenge He asks if she is challenging him She agrees The Wave King accepts the challenge Dawn, Doya, Rin, and White go to rent surfboards Zoey uses the one Carmilla repaired The Wave King asks if they know how to surf Zoey admits that she does nit The Wave King demonstrates how to surf, and then asks that everyone line up for the competition A large wave crests, and the competitors ready themselves! SURF! Doya and Dawn start strong, the Wave King rides effortlessly, the others do not fare well White changes the timeline, Zoey gets better, Doya shreds, Rin is wet and cold, Dawn does well, the Wave King slips up and get serious, Camilla watches through Guillermo Doya waves at the beach, the Wave King tells her to Hang 10 instead VICTORY! The Wave King thanks the group for the challenge He admits that he didn't think land dwellers could surf Doya assures him that she's done this before The Wave King asks if there is surfing on land Doya tells him that it's called skateboarding The Wave King accepts that as a challenge and a new frontier to explore He dives beneath the waves, and returns with a large carved shell He explains that it can either be a surfboard or a shield depending on how it's used He tells the group that he needs to go research skateboarding now, and leaves White asks how Dawn is doing Dawn feels avenged She wants to dig another hole now though, and drags White along with her Carmilla is smacked by Asher, who wonders why Carmilla was staring at nothing vacantly Carmilla explains that she was watching the competition though Guillermo Asher asks why she didn't just walk over and watch Carmilla admits that she cannot swim Asher points out that the lizardman was selling floats Carmilla refuses, stating that people would laugh at her Asher counters that nobody would care Carmilla claims that the ocean might count as moving water, and that she cannot cross that Asher wonders why Carmilla didn't go over if anything to spend time with Zoey Carmilla tells her that Zoey can do things without her Asher tells Carmilla that she should have just gone over there to watch, and that Missing Peace was trying to talk to her while she was watching through Guillermo The two are interrupted when a random student gives Carmilla bracelets that say "Beach Hunk" Asher wonders what that was about Carmilla tries to explain her odd situation regarding Sunny and the gifts She then asks how to start a band Asher tells to just hang out with the people she wants to form a band with and play music Carmilla worries that Zoey would reject her if she tried Asher assures her that Zoey isn't mean like that Asher comments on the bracelets that Carmilla just got, and suggests that Carmilla be a beach hunk Carmilla doesn't know what that means Asher explains that Carmilla just try to impress Zoey Carmilla approaches Zoey, and offers to lift weights to impress her Zoey is confused, and asks where they'd get weights Carmilla asks Doya for weights Doya asks Greta for weights Greta doesn't have any, but asks Doya to join her for volleyball

Doya agrees, and recruits Zoey to balance out the teams Chad wagers a bet with Doya - if his team wins, they each get 5 free hotdogs Doya agrees on the condition that Chad has to eat 15 hot dogs in one sitting if he loses The two teams play, and Doya's team eventually wins Chad is furious Meanwhile, Rin goes to check on his brother and his friends Cecil looks majestic, while Rin's brother looks the exact opposite Rin's brother splashes Rin Rin explains that he was checking up on them since he invited them They assure him that they're doing fine, although one of them is not They gesture to Atticus, who is in the shade and complaining They talk to Rin about the room Rin's in, and about how bad the vibes are with it Rin assures them that it's not that bad, aside from the fact that the walls are all yellow Rin's brother jokes that Rin is comfortable with the color yellow since Rin peed the bed a lot when he was little Rin tackles his brother, and wrestles with him Cecil joins in, and ends up trying to drown him as a joke Genevieve mentions wanting to go get food Rin offers to escort, worried that someone will recognize her due to her fame Meanwhile, Dawn and White try to find a place to dig a hole They encounter a group of goblins with bandanas led by one with a pirate's hat White suggests that he and Dawn enlist them to help dig a hole He approaches, and hears the lead goblin proclaiming that they'll be rich The lead goblin goes on the defensive when White gets close, and tells White to not interfere with their treasure hunt White offers to help them The lead goblin explains that he had found a treasure map that led to this beach He assure White that he can read it White offers to double-check their work He realizes that the map was upside-down, and that they were at the wrong side of the beach The lead goblin claims that he was right, and that White is mistaken White asks how long they've been searching without results The other goblins admit that they've been digging for hours The lead goblin takes his crew, along with Dawn and White, to the other side of the beach As the crew digs, the lead goblin thanks White He asks White not to tell the crew about that though, since he needs strict discipline White suggests that the captain listen to the crew, or otherwise the captain risks a mutiny The captain pretends to know what a mutiny is The crew hit something hard with their shovels, and unearth a treasure chest! They open the chest, and see a bottle with cloth in it, a pair of bracelets, and a human femur The goblins toss out the contents, push the chest to sea, and hop in The captain proclaims his name as Captain Swaggo of The Shampoo as the goblins sail the chest out to see Dawn and White, who are joined by Carmilla and Zoey, examine the contents of the chest White pulls the cloth out of the bottle, and finds that it is a lot larger than he thought He also finds a note saying "Billow" He thinks that it is a Cloak of Billowing, and puts it on Dawn When Dawn says the command word, she is flung into the air over the ocean She swims back, and tells White that was fun White and Zoey also take a turn getting flung into the ocean Zoey identifies the bone as humanoid Dawn is horrified Carmilla is intrigued The group look over the bracelets, and realize they're valuable

Chad and Doya go to the grill for Chad's punishment He asks why Doya brought a grill Doya explains that she wanted to do something nice Chad confirms that the hot-dogs are free, and begins eating He only manages to down a few, before fleeing to throw up Pain explains that he put Devil Fruit Sauce (which is 7 out of 9 on the Hell Spite rating) on the hot dogs Rin succumbs to the hunger, and finishes the hot dogs Chad didn't eat Zoey goes to hang out with the Angels They ask how she's liking it Zoey admits that the beach is rather weird The Angels agree, and tell her that they preferred it when it was just them They explain that they would occasionally visit the beach on weekends Angelika challenges Zoey so a swimming race Zoey agrees, and promptly loses When she returns to the shore, she notices her hat wandering off She goes to catch it, and accidentally stumbles into a volleyball game Angelika intervenes, and scolds the players for endangering Zoey She spikes the volleyball directly into Javenesh The Angels suggest that they play volleyball with Zoey, and that Zoey go ask Carmilla to play Zoey goes to ask Carmilla Carmilla refuses, and suggests she ask Doya Doya agrees The Angels point out that a 4v1 against Doya would be unfair Rin accidentally volunteers to play Doya recruits Chad and Max to play When Chad complains, Doya points out that he help her Angelika announces to the entire beach that they're about to play The two teams share in some pre-game banter Zoey gets aggressive The game begins! Anjarika has a smoke mephit secretly help her Angelique doesn't really try Angelika flies to score the final point The rest of the students try their best Team A2Z wins! Chadriz tells Doya to get up Doya comments that it was unfair that Angelika had wings Carmilla points out that Doya has wings too Chad accuses Doya of throwing the game White suggests that the Angels have been practicing for this The group look over the pictures that Carmilla took during the game Doya offers one as a gift to Chad Zoey joins them in looking at the pictures Carmilla points out that Zoey should have played on Doya's team Zoey responds that The Angels insisted on a 4v4 Zoey then goes to Max, and apologizes for calling him short during the pre-game banter Max tells her about Wonder Chicken, who he claims is a miniature dire chicken He describes how he saved it from the family farm's chopping block Angelika and Angelique say goodbye to Zoey Doya takes the opportunity to say goodbye to Anji alone Doya is flustered, and offers her juice She notices the mephit, and asks about it Anji explains that it is her familiar, and that she doesn't know her leg Doya notices Anji's leg boiling the ocean water, and comments on it Anji is weirded out Doya then goes to speak to Pain, and apologizes for not hanging out with him more Pain is okay with, since he hates beaches anyways Doya offers to go somewhere Pain would like White spends some time with Egao and Haru As the students return to their home, they reflect on the time they had Days pass, and so does Summer Break Towards the end of Summer Break, Carmilla spends some time at Doya's place Doya's mom makes sure Carmilla is properly boring as Doya claimed Zoey spends some time in the Elemental Plane of Fire with the Angels, Before that happens though, Light Day arrives in Lux Concordia The group meet up at Rin's place with the lamps they bought Carmilla hears a knock at the door, and only sees shadow from beyond it She invites it in, and Dean Kol appears inside! The group go to the roof, and watch as the lights of Lux Concordia sparkle like fireworks The lights go out, and the sky is lit up again as the celebrants of the holiday release their lamps The lamps hit the ward, and the ward reignites with light! Doya takes a picture of the group

Carmilla receives a nice winter cape from a student, and gives it to Zoey Dawn and White make an incredible sand castle Lichie ascends to the sand throne Ryonia cartwheels out of the ocean and accidentally ruins the sand castle Dawn begins to cry White offers to help her make another Dawn tells him she doesn't want to make another, and begins to dig a hole Angelique approaches Doya, and asks why Doya wanted to speak to her Doya admits that she just wanted to talk, since she doesn't get a chance to speak to her alone Doya asks if she liked to burgers Angelique admits that she did, and is glad that Doya has found her niche Doya offers her another Angelique refuses, telling Doya that two is enough Doya suggests that Angelique live a little, and that no one is watching Angelique counters that most of Class A is there, and would notice her She asks Doya how much fat is in the burgers Doya throws away the box and claims she cannot check because the box is gone Angelique refuses another burger She asks for a fruit salad She inspects the salad once Doya makes it Doya assures her the salad isn't poisoned Angelique wonders if that's really true She asks why Doya singled her out Doya admits that she thought that Angelique was shy, and needed an excuse to speak Angelique states that she is an introvert, and her decision to not talk to Doya was intentional Angelique goes to rejoin the other Angels Rin approaches the two dragonborn who had earned purple uniforms They take a moment to look down and notice him One, a silver-scaled recognizes Rin as a fellow purple-uniform, and introduces herself as Vhalshera She asks what class he's in The two realizes that they're in different classes, and so is the other dragonborn Vhalshera asks the other dragonborn to introduce himself He does, and says his name is Johrel Rin asks where the two were during the talent show Vhalshera assures him that they were there, and were probably hard to spot because of everything happening Johrel adds that they were there because they had to be Rin asks if they've noticed anything odd or any hooded figures Johrel points out that half the school consists of hooded figures Vhalshera comments that she did see goo coming out of the animated props Rin suggests that they and the other honor students should spend more time together Vhalshera wonders what they would do together Rin suggests studying Johrel points out that that would be unfair to the other students Vhalshera tells Rin that Johrel is quite nice underneath his tough facade Johrel takes offense The dragonborn ask Rin about Pain's song Rin admits he doesn't know why Pain did it aside from causing a scene Johrel wonders if that's his real name Rin confirms that it is Vhalshera comments that Pain seems bothered

Johrel suggests that Pain join the Students of Faith with Vhalshera Rin disagrees, and calls Pain to edgy for that sort of thing The three discuss the odd virtue names of the tieflings amongst the first year students Rin brings up detention The dragonborn ask why he was in detention Rin explains that he was investigating the source of the Black Blood, and that the faculty couldn't see it Rin asks if they are willing to help them investigate it in the future Vhalshera is excited Johrel is hesitant Rin admits that he did taste the blood The conversation shifts towards Rin's resistance to poison, and then to using holy magic to cure poison Shuvadri joins the conversation as Vhalshera talks about the various faiths celebrated in the academy Meanwhile, Carmilla tries and fails to summon Nicollin Zoey goes to talk to Missing Peace She asks how they met up Asher explains how she recruited the other band members She admits that Larksann's curiosity into music was an unexpected blessing Zoey commends Missing Peace for helping Larksann come out of her shell Nandor makes a scene, and causes the conversation to shift to being about him Nandor shows off his writing skills Pain approaches Doya, and tells her that her shift is up He offers to make something Doya agrees, and asks for a hot dog Pain asks for payment in response Doya scolds him for trying to sell her the food she brought Our group notice something odd happening near the water as they notice that Dawn has dug herself into a pit Dawn proclaims from inside that she's digging a hole to the Underdark Our group notice a massive wave coming in, and try to warn their friends Doya tries to protect Rin, and is instead flung back towards the Angels The Angels are upset, and yell at Doya for spraying them with sand Our group notice a water creature glumly swimming in the flooded remains of Dawn's excavation site Carmilla notices a broken surfboard, and tries to fix it The water creature tells her not to bother, since it's not going to impress anyone anyways It explains that it was trying to impress the Wave King, Lord of the Sea, with surfing skills It adds that the Wave King was once the best surfer, but lately is not interested in surfing anymore Our group offers to help the Wave King feel better The water creature asks if they know how to surf They do not Carmilla doesn't even know how to swim The group, minus Carmilla, prepare to go into the water

Carmilla has lunch with Zoey and her parents They ask about Zoey's necklace Zoey claims that it's purified life essence Her parents mention it looks like blood Carmilla mentions that she is a dhampir Zoey's mom is suspicious Meanwhile, Doya has lunch with her mom Doya's mom is impressed with Doya's work Laelia speaks to Doya, and insists that Doya mention her Doya initially resists the idea since she was worried her mom would be upset about her picking fights, but eventually caves and tells her mom about what happened Doya's mom is impressed, but wonders if she needs to talk to the faculty Doya insists that she does not Rin's parents invite White to join them for lunch They explains that White is a friend of Rin's and since they have a bunch of kids it will be like White is one of them Rin offers to flag down a sky coach for them Rin's mom is nervous about the idea She calms down once they are onboard, and marvels at how small the people now seemed They arrive at Sunny's family's restaurant, and are seated Rin's mom tries to order kid's meals for Rin and White Rin pleads with her not to, and explains that he eats just as much food as an adult Rin's mom relents, but still gets the coloring scrolls The food arrives, and the Crig prepares to dine White secures a few pieces of pizza before the feeding frenzy begins After they eat, Rin's parents take Rin and White back to campus Rin's parents tell the two that they'll be in town a little bit longer to check up on Rin's brother Time passes, and many of our students prepare to leave campus for the summer Doya says goodbye Zoey gets emotional Doya wonders if Zoey wears her hat at home Zoey explains that she does, and that she is from New Simia Doya wonders where White is, and brings the rest of the group along with her to White's dorm They find White playing games with Dawn and Urzmaktok White explains that he's staying on campus for the summer, and other students will be doing the same Our party says their goodbyes Dawn asks where Carmilla lives Carmilla refuses to tell her Rin asks when our group's birthdays are Zoey says hers is March 3rd Doya reluctantly admits hers is December 25th Carmilla is pressured into saying hers is November 22nd Dawn chimes in that hers is December 18th Rin adds that his is October 7th White confirms that he doesn't know his birthday Rin explains that he was curious because he's going to become an adult on his next birthday Carmilla adds that she will too Zoey is weirded out Carmilla asks to be excused

Dawn is sad that Carmilla refused to talk about where she was going to stay Rin offers to let Dawn visit his place instead Carmilla finds out that Nicollin will stay on campus for a while bit will eventually go home, and that Aurora will remain on campus Greta tells Doya that she will be going home and that she misses her brothers Rin learns that Vladimir is going home Urzmaktok informs White that he is going home to his extended family, and that he misses the cold Pain mentions to Doya that he'll be in Lux Concordia, but probably not always with his dad Larksann tells Zoey that she'll be staying in Lux Concordia on behest of the rest of Missing Peace Zoey offers to meet up with them on Light Day The Angels also speak to Zoey, and offer to take her to the Anji's dad's place in the Plane of Fire Zoey is hesitant, and claims that she's afraid now The Angels insist that everything will be fine Zoey agrees to spend the last few days with them in the Plane of Fire Doya takes a ferry back to her mom's house, and does absolutely nothing Carmilla races back to her house, and tries to clean and de-Halfling the place She takes Zoey there, and shows her around Lux Concordia White stays on campus, and maintains his original schedule Rin leaves the Academy Campus, and stays in his brother's apartment He wrestles his brother, and interrupted when his brother's roommate enters The roommate introduces herself as Genevieve Fox, an author and a friend of Nadia and Rin's brother Genevieve and Rin bond over books Genevieve explains that she's been traveling recently to research for her upcoming book about less common monstrous races A large human man also visits the apartment, and introduces himself as Atticus A week into summer break, White is approached by Dawn, who is wearing a sun hat and a sundress She tells him that she and a few friends are going to the beach, and invites him and Rin to come along White agrees, but asks to go shopping first Zoey receives a sending from Angelique asking her to go to the beach as well, and offers to let Carmilla tag along She then gets a paper bird from Larksann asking the same Carmilla and Zoey send Doya a paper bird asking her to join them Dawn and White go to Rin's brother's apartment, and ask him to tag along Rin agrees, and invites his brother to join them His brother agrees and invites his own friends, who seem to want to split off from the kids and do their own thing Doya stops by the Academy on her way to meet up with Carmilla and Zoey, and invites Pain to join them Our group fully reunite, along with Dawn, Pain, and Doya's grill

The students head towards the northern side of the city, and enter more and more rural sectors As they travel, they start going downhill Several students stumble, and Zoey has to catch Doya's grill They eventually reach the beach, and find a huge number of students already there! They students playing volleyball, jumping off rocks into the water, and making sandcastles Along the entrance, they also spot a lizardman selling cooked meets and various beach-time supplies Our group change into their swimwear - White achieves peak fashion, Rin keeps his hoodie on, Carmilla looks more goth somehow, Doya and Zoey seem hesitant to fully change Doya comments on how Rin looks warm in that, and finds he’s actually rather cold Rin admits that he prefers the cold, but he can tolerate this heat The Angels flag down Zoey They tell her that they don't want to steal her from Carmilla, but will be nearby if Zoey changes her mind Doya spots a tortle woman holding onto something in a nearby cave, and brings our group along to investigate The tortle woman asks our group for help She introduces herself as druid named Chasum She shows the group a small draconic-like turtle creature Doya and Zoey fawn over it Chasum explains that it is a baby dragon turtle, and that it needs help being guided to the ocean She adds that it needs to make the journey on its own to build up strength Our group agree to help She sets the baby dragon turtle down It starts to move towards the beach A dozen seagulls instantly appear to devour it ESCORT! Doya guides the dragon-turtle, Carmilla summons birds to fight the birds, White throws a starfish, Zoey swats them with a palm frond, Rin shoots them with ice Doya draws a line to help guide the dragon turtle, a group of students appear to fawn over the creature, Zoey explains that it needs to be left alone, Carmilla tries to scare them off, White reasons with the remaining students, Rin vibes Rin helps Doya guide the dragon turtle, more seagulls appear, Carmilla's birds have a dogfight with them, Zoey scares them with hawk sounds, White magnifies gravity As the dragon turtle gets close to the beach crabs appear, Doya offers the turtle a coin, Zoey annoys the crabs with the frond and then chucks it into the ocean, Carmilla's birds put int good work, White tries his best and fails, Rin blasts the remaining crabs The dragon turtle reaches the water, and rapidly swims to deeper water VICTORY! The group return to Chasum, who thanks them and gives them a vine rope as a reward Doya puts one end of the rope in the water, and is blasted with water Doya tries to blast Carmilla with water, but Zoey intervenes Doya and Zoey have a water fight Doya stops when she hears that Mailu is about to grill, and rushes over to aid her Zoey talks to a student hiding in the shade The student introduces himself as Sebastian, and comments that Zoey is That Zoey He tells Zoey that she said his name wrong, and asks that she go away Carmilla goes to talk to Quentillius Antiphiun Melentor III Quentillius asks Carmilla to help him apply tanning lotion to himself He introduces Carmilla to Felisa as his assistant Carmilla begrudging asks him if he wants anything else He asks Carmilla to get him food Felisa asks if Carmilla can get some for her as well Carmilla is joined by Zoey as she obeys They find Doya working the grill, and cooking hamburgers and hot dogs Carmilla gets food for Quentillius and Felisa, and returns to them Quentillius asks for a drink Carmilla returns to Doya, and asks for a drink Doya tells Carmilla that she doesn't have any cups

The lizardman proclaims that he is selling cups Doya approaches the lizardman, and offers to buy out all of his cups The lizardman doesn't know how much to sell them for, but whatever it is is a lot Doya asks the lizardman where he got all of this The lizardman doesn't fully answer, but mentions making some of it She asks who he is He introduces himself as chop kip Doya offers to work with him to help him make more money chop agrees Doya asks Carmilla why she's running errands Carmilla doesn't know Doya is then approached by Grayson, who asks for another burger for Angelique Doya is surprised that Angelique liked it Grayson explains that she normally doesn't like this type of food, but Doya's cooking was good Doya asks to speak to Angelique When Grayson leaves, she gives chop advice on how to advertise White goes to speak to Dismay and Violence They tell him that summer breaking has been fine but boring They ask where White has been staying They tell him that it's sad that he's staying at the academy He responds that it's a very different place with less people The twins comment that they weren't expecting this many people to be at the beach, and they had just happened to come by on this day They point out a goblin brigade wearing bandannas led by another goblin with a pirate hat They wonder with White on whether or not the goblins are dangerous The three then talk about some elementals in the water with some type of fish people As White leaves, he is nearly hit by a volleyball Zoey takes Carmilla to a corner of the beach, and offers her a hamburger She explains that she knows that Carmilla normally doesn't eat much food, but Doya's cooking is good Carmilla takes the burger, and consumes the meat while hiding behind her parasol Rin goes to speak to two of the purple uniformed students that he hadn't spoken to before

In addition to Carmilla and White, Dhazari also has a facility guardian appear behind her: Plargg, Dean of Chaos from Lorehold Rin's mom rushes to him, hugs him, and offers him sandwiches from a basket Rin's dad says hello Rin's mom explains that they had heard about the parent-teacher meeting from Bec, and that the academy teleported them there Rin's mom comments on how cold it is and how cold Rin is Rin's dad suggests that it is because the air is cooled either by machines or magic Doya locks eyes with her mom Doya's mom approaches, fixes Doya's hair, and tells her that it's been a while Doya shows off her aced exam Her mom is surprised and impressed Zoey's parents get everyone's attention Zoey rushes to hug them, She rapidly talks to them as she shows them to her desk Rin introduces his parents to the other parents Rin's mom appreciates Guillermo and Nandor Rin's dad shakes Doya's mom's hand, and frees Doya from her grasp Deans Tullus and Kol gather the attention of the parents of our group, and start talking to them about the academy Our group notice a tall owlin woman talk to Shuvadri They also spot well-dressed woman with many wings in her hair talk to Angelika They also see a pale woman with prefect makeup dressed in black talk to Aurora Doya approaches Pain, and asks about his parents Pain comments that he doesn't see them, and that he's glad that they aren't there Carmilla asks Nicollin about his parents Nicollin points out a balding man who keeps bumping into everyone as he goes up and down the walkway of the classroom Nicollin shows Carmilla paintings of each of his family members, and talks about them in great detail Nicollin's dad introduces himself to our group, and washes his hands after shaking each of their hands He then joins our group's parents in conversation Our group goes to talk to Aurora Aurora introduces her mom to the group Aurora's mom comments on Guillermo and Nandor She asks Rin which sector in Valtahost he's from She tries to hide her disgust when he says Sector 7 She asks what he thinks of Lux Concordia He admits that it is too bright

Doya talks to Dhazari, and asks Plargg is her dad Dhazari denies it, and explains that he is her faculty guardian She agrees when Doya asks if her family is far away Zoey goes to talk to Haru and Melwythorne She finds Haru speaking in Shitari to her mom, who looks like a large bee Haru's mom and Zoey bond over their similar hair colors, with Haru acting as a translator Zoey talks to Melwythorne next, who tells Zoey that his faculty guardian will be there soon He goes to the window, where Carmilla and Zoey see one of the trees approach the window! The tree introduces herself as Professor Willowdusk of Witherbloom, and Melwythorne's surrogate parent at the academy She sends squirrels to shake Carmilla and Zoey's hands She mentions that she heard that Zoey was Melwythorne's friend in silkball Rin talks to Ethel, and stopped when her and Vladimir's parents approach They recognize Rin from their dinner with their family Vladimir's parents drag Vladimir to join in the conversation Vladimir's parents explain to Ethel's parents that Rin is family, in an odd way Ethel's dad asks if Rin likes fishing Rin differentiates himself from his adventurer brother Doya goes to get her mom to speak to the Angels Along the way she sees Larine's mother fixing her hair, and Rubina's mom strictly talking to her She also notices Quentillius Antiphiun Melentor III's dad, who looks like a pirate, and goes to talk to him Quentillius Antiphiun Melentor II asks if Doya is Doya or Roman right now Doya is upset at Quentillius III Quentillius II explains that his son shares everything with him, but that he'll keep Doya's secret Doya asks about his attire Quentillius II tells her that he isn't actually a pirate, but merely researching one for his role in a play based on a book called the Tomb of Annihilation He signs a copy of the book, and hands it to her He mentions that Quentillius Antiphiun Melentor I was also an actor, but that the newer generations of the family were branching out into new areas Zoey approaches Larksann, and finds her and her dad looking over her backpack Larksann's dad asks Zoey about Larksann Zoey assures him that Larksann is the best roommate ever Larksann's dad asks if Zoey is an engineer Zoey tells him that she is not, but is a musician Larksann's dad comments on Larksann's own musical abilities, and that he had heard she participated in the talent show Zoey confirms that she did, and praises her abilities Larksann melts into a puddle

Rosimy's grandma attempts to calm Rosimy down with cookies She asks Carmilla about Rosimy Carmilla tells her that Rosimy is a friend, and had her considering joining the LARP club Rosimy's grandma offer Carmilla and Zoey cookies As Carmilla and Zoey return towards their seats, they see Puffcap's mom showing Puffcap a toad Puffcap's mom feeds Guillermo and Nandor, and shows Zoey the toad, which is named Bubbles Doya takes her mom over towards the Angels Doya's mom recognizes Angelika's mom, and is shocked that Doya goes to the same school as her Angelika's mom, notices the two and starts talking to Doya's mom She comments on Doya's mom's employer Doya's mom assures Angelika's mom that she is doing damage control Doya wonders how working for a charity could be that hard Angelika notices Doya, and the two stare each other down Their moms begin to brag about their daughters to each other Angelique's mom enters the fray, and asks about Doya's grades She comments that Doya could have done better Anjarika's "mom" enters the conversation and hugs everyone Doya asks Anji if that's her mom Anji denies it, explaining that that is one of her step-moms Anji is annoyed that she is here The moms of the Angels and Doya's mom start talking, giving Doya and the Angels a chance to escape Doya asks about Anji's dad Anji is glad he didn't show up Angelika demands to know why Doya brought their moms together Doya admits that she didn't know that they knew each other Zoey tries to talk to her parents She is interrupted by the Angels, who introduce themselves to her parents as her best friends Rin sees Zanther talking to his equally sporty dad, and Cad talking to his stoic dad He also spots Chadriz's dad kicking him out of his chair and bossing him around Rin checks up on Sunny Sunny admits that he doesn't know if his parents will be coming Rin explains he was checking up on him since they agreed earlier not to discuss family Rin's parents approach, and introduce themselves to Sunny Sunny makes some jokes, and offers to let them eat at his family's restaurant for a discount Sunny's dad enters the room Carmilla feels fear Sunny's dad approaches Sunny, but spots Carmilla on the way He greets her, and comments that he noticed her in the talent show Dean Kol interposes himself between the two, and tells Sunny's dad not to talk to Carmilla Dean Kol introduces himself to Sunny's dad, and warns him that it'll be the last he thinks before he dies if he does not back off from Carmilla Carmilla asks Dean Kol in another language what that was about After deciding on a language to use, Dean Kol warns her to stay away from the Sierraverdes He asks if she has been in contact with them Carmilla dodges the question Dean Kol orders her to stop visiting them, and tells her that she knows better Professor Sharpbeak speaks up, and explains that the parent-teacher part of the meetings was about to begin She excuses all of the students, who file out of the room Our group reunite, and discuss what happened Rin comments that Sunny made a mistake inviting his parents Carmilla wonders what he means by that

Rin explains that there was some history between his family and Sunny's Carmilla demands to know what he means by that Rin tells her that it's a secret Carmilla insists, explaining that friends tell friends secrets Rin mentions that his brother was in trouble with them, but refuses to divulge more Carmilla wants to know more Rin asks to speak about it somewhere more private Our group goes to Rin's room Rin insists on not giving out much information Carmilla admits that she was raised about the Sierraverdes, and that she has personal stakes in this She asks if Rin's brother caused the explosion Rin tells her that his brother did not, and that the person who did lied to both his brother and the Sierraverdes He adds that that person is also dead The conversation shifts to Carmilla's house Carmilla insists that she needs to take care of it The rest of our group insists that the Sierraverdes would take care of it if she didn't The group start discussing the various parents they saw Doya comments that Zoey's parents are hot Zoey is scandalized The rest of the group agree with Doya Zoey asks if she's hot too Our group discuss how nice Rin's parents are They talk about the other parents they saw, including the Angel's parents The group realize that they should probably go back to the classroom, since they might be needed again soon Our group return to the classroom, and find the other students waiting outside Zoey asks if she overwhelmed Larksann earlier Larksann assures Zoey that she did not, but mentions being surprised about the Talent Show talk Zoey tells Larksann that she should be proud of herself Carmilla talks to Aurora, who admits that her mom is embarrassing Carmilla asks if Aurora's mom is a full vampire Aurora wonders why Carmilla really wants to know that She doesn't answer the question, but comments on how creepy Carmilla's guardian is Doya checks up on Pain Pain admits that he's bored with all of this Doya offers to introduce him to her mom Pain wonders if Doya's mom would hate him Doya assures him that she would not The students are let back into the classroom by Professor Sharpbeak Carmilla shows Dean Kol a deed that a random student gave her Dean Kol is confused, but takes the deed to hold onto Doya's mom scolds Doya for failing a test Doya explains that she was sick and tired Doya's mom counters that Doya needs to take care of herself Doya rushes out to get something Professor Sharpbeak speaks up, explaining that the meetings were officially over Doya rushes back in to her seat

She mentions that the academy will teleport all of the parents home when they are ready She goes on to describe how this year's students have made good impacts in their clubs and jobs She asks that the parents stick around to help their children pack up for summer break She then introduces Archjusticar Yasha, who appears before the class! Yasha remains silent for a few minutes, before telling the class that Professor Sharpbeak already said most of what needed to be said She tells the parents that their kids will be the next generation of heroes and scholars She warns that this won't be easy for them, and but that they knew that She tells them that she hopes to see their children for next month's classes, and that they're free to go Doya approaches each of the parents, and offers to take pictures of them with their kids Carmilla asks how long Dean Kol has been at the Academy Dean Kol tells her that he's been there longer for everyone except Professor Willowdusk Carmilla asks Dean Kol if he'd like to celebrate Light Day Dean Kol tells her that he normally doesn't, but asks if its important to her Carmilla tells him it is Dean Kol agrees to Zoey approaches Professor Sharpbeak, and asks if she can delay being teleported home Sharpbeak tells her that's possible Zoey instantly asks her parents if she can stay behind for Light Day They're hesitant, but agree Carmilla approaches Zoey, and gets her attention Zoey introduces Carmilla to her parents as her girlfriend Zoey dies on the inside when Sharpbeak speaks up since Zoey forgot to walk away before having these conversations Zoey's parents offer to get to know Carmilla over lunch The parents and students begin to file out of the classroom Professor Sharpbeak asks that our group and their parents stay behind Archjusticar Yasha asks that our group and their parents speak to her Yasha introduces herself to the parents Zoey's mom asks if Yasha's an elf Yasha explains that she is an Eladrin, not an elf Yasha speaks to our groups parents, and explains that Wyrm Academy is full of dangers Rin's mom ask what the dangers are Yasha tells her and the other parents that magic is unstable, and that its study is naturally dangerous She goes on to tell them that their children are more than capable, and managed to even help a professor She informs them that their kids aren't perfect, but are shaping up to be Yasha dismisses our group and their parents Our group sigh in relief that they aren't in trouble

As summer break approaches, the first-year students of Wyrm Academy get restless During the Magical Auras classes the week before summer break, Professor Sharpbeak reminds the class of the upcoming break She also mentions some interesting news in the Wyrm Watcher, and asks if Doya wants to speak about it Doya does Doya asks if Angelika could come up to speak with her Angelika is confused, but goes along with it Doya explains to the class that she and Angelika have been planning something, but are ready to announce what it is She thanks Grayson and Mina for helping her coordinate this with the Wyrm Watcher She explains that she and Angelika are giving massages to and feeding the poor in the Dock Ward She mentions that reporters from the Wyrm Watcher will be there, so neither she nor Angelika will be able to back out Angelika hides her rage Angelika and Doya go back and forth on who would be doing the massages Doya thanks Angelika for agreeing to such a charitable thing The class applauds, confused The two return to their seats Carmilla demands to know why Doya is doing this Doya tells her that she wants to spend time with Angelika Carmilla wonders why she would want that Doya assures her that it's to make Angelika suffer, since Angelika hates the poor Zoey thinks back on what happened between her and the Angels at the infirmary She was in the infirmary with just the Angels and a few other students who were tending to themselves Zoey told the Angels she was upset about what happened with Chadriz She then added that she heard that she heard Angelika was bullying Doya too She asked Angelika if Angelika had been lying to her Angelika deflected, trying to claim that Doya was manipulating the truth and trying to pain herself as a victim She then claimed that Doya was just jealous of Zoey, and that Zoey shouldn't take her claims so seriously She added that the Zone of Truth spell can be circumnavigated Zoey then brought up what Angelika said to Carmilla at the party Angelika played dumb, and claimed she didn't know what she was doing The conversation switched back to Doya, and the Angels mentioned Doya having a crush on Anji Zoey admitted that she might have overthought things, and apologized for being so brash She asked the Angels not to kiss her on the cheek though Zoey stops thinking about that

Doya mentions to our group that she wants the Wyrm Watcher's staff and their cameras to be there so they can catch Angelika's misery Carmilla asks to speak to Quentillius Antiphiun Melentor III alone She takes him out to the hallway, and asks for a favor Quentillius asks if she wants to crossdress like Doya Carmilla says no She explains that she knows that he's good with personal hygiene, and that her hair is a mess She asks if he is willing to help her fix her hair Quentillius explains that, while his hair is straight, he has worked with curly wigs and can help He warns her that her hair is not a lost cause yet, but it is close He tells her that he cannot explain it, but only show her He asks about her current hair care procedure She tells him that it's just brushing it Quentillius suffers He asks how she did her hair for the Talent Show She explains that she just tied it back Quentillius asks for her to go to his room when she has free time, and warns that she will need to book several hours Carmilla informs him that she's free right then The two go back to Quentillius's room They encounter Balforg, who is puzzled by his roommate Quentillius's actions Quentillius just tells him to watch and learn Carmilla banishes Guillermo and Nandor out of her hair Quentillius finds a nest with eggs in Carmilla's hair Carmilla has no idea when or how that got there Quentillius scolds Nandor for making a mess in there Quentillius gets to work cleaning and de-knotting Carmilla's hair He offers to change Carmilla's hair color Carmilla asks that he let it go back to its natural hair color - black He also offers to straighten it Carmilla declines that After some time, Quentillius completes his work, and tries to Carmilla how it looks in the mirror Carmilla refuses, explaining that she is a vampire and does not have a reflection She asks to look through Guillermo's eyes instead Quentillius wonders if Guillermo needs glasses Carmilla wonders that too The two make a compromise: He uses Nandor to show her the results Carmilla's hair looks good and is knot free! Carmilla asks about the products he used and how much that cost Quentillius refuses to answer, but does mention that he got some of them free for running promotional ads He shows her some of the ads Carmilla thanks him for helping, and goes to show Zoey

Zoey loves the new hair She asks to hang out Carmilla later Carmilla asks if Zoey confronted the angels The conversation is interrupted when the two spot Quentillius talking towards Carmilla Carmilla goes to speak to him, and asks what he's trying Quentillius explains that he wasn't talk to her, but was monologuing The next day, our group finds themselves paired off in Computational Magic The class has been assigned the task of making a device that makes a noise when in sunlight as a simple alarm clock Rin and White decide to have their device make the sound of roadent claws scratching on a chalkboard, since that would wake anyone up The twin professors ask each group to present their device Rin and White do, and the device works The entire class reels in pain as the sound blasts throughout the classroom! The professors take the device out of the sun They congratulate the two on their work, but ask them not to do that again Later that day during lunch, Rin is approached by Dawn and Nicollin They ask for Rin to test a potion they made for class White wonders what it is The two explain that it is a climbing potion Rin agrees to help, and downs the potion He grows a third eye on his forehead! He tells the other students that nothing happened White questions that hypothesis, and tells him what happened Rin wonders if he also got a fourth eye on the back of his head Zoey, who was attracted by the mad science, approaches and tells him he did not She congratulates Dawn and Nicollin on their successful eye potion They tell her it was not an eye potion Rin goes to check if the wall climbing part of the potion worked by throwing himself at a wall It did not work, and he just hits the wall He asks Dawn and Nicollin how long the potion will last They admit that they don't know

Later that week, Carmilla speaks to our group in the Commons Room She asks if they have any plans for summer break Rin says that he'll either go back to Valtahost, or stay with Bec if that is not possible Doya agrees with the idea of going home White and Zoey aren't sure Carmilla offers to let them stay at her place Multiple group members agree Carmilla insists that she have a chance to clean the place up first Rin jokes about eating all of the food Carmilla asks Zoey about her talk with the Angels Zoey admits that she caved during the argument and didn't really confront them She adds that she was worried about making them mad Carmilla counters that Zoey is making the group mad by doing this Doya insists that Zoey stop being nice to them and come to a decision Carmilla suggests that Zoey just distance herself from them Zoey finds that a more doable suggestion Carmilla then brings up Light Day, a Lux Concordian holiday that was going to happen in two weeks She offers to let the people who were staying out of town stay at her place for that time frame The day before the weekend, Doya is approached by Pain He accidentally scares her with his approach He asks Doya when the even with Angelika was He then asks if Doya would like to go with him to hear a band afterwards She agrees, and the two part ways The next day, Doya arrives early to the Dock Ward, and finds Wyrm Academy staff already making preparations The time to begin approaches, and Doya speaks to the incoming impoverished, thanking them for coming She and Angelika then have a back-and-forth on who would give massages first Angelika eventually wins, and gets to feed people first Time passes, and eventually both of them are stuck on massage duty The two talk while they work Angelika asks why Doya did all of this Doya explains that she wanted to see Angelika touch someone poor Angelika pokes Doya Doya adds that this would also get her a better reputation, but making Angelika suffer was her main reason She asks how rich Angelika is The two then talk about family Doya mentions being a single child with a single mom Angelika mentions having two older brothers, and that Doya might like having brothers They then talk about their celestial guides Doya complains about her guide Angelika gloats about hers Angelika asks why Doya's halo is weird Doya counters that Angelika's halo is weird too Doya asks what it's like being rich Angelika admits that having high expectations placed on her sucks, but having money helps Angelika asks why Doya quit cheerleading Doya explains that she didn't want to be near the Angels anymore Angelika points out that Doy arranged all of this to spend time with her Doya counters that people change Angelika asks Doya why Doya collects uniforms Doya tells her that they're cute Doya asks how Angelika met Angelique and Anji Angelika explains that she had seen Angelique before, but only properly met her and Anji during the entrance exams Angelika asks if Doya is gay Doya refutes the claim Angelika asks why Doya's parents aren't together Doya admits that she doesn't know, but it's not her fault Doya asks why Angelika hasn't dates anyone Angelika explains that she thinks everyone at the school is too dumb to date Doya states that she expected that answer Once the vent draws to a close, the two head back to campus Angelika wishes Doya luck on her date with Pain Doya is flustered

She goes to find Pain, who is waiting for her He asks how the charity event went He then ask why she went through all of that trouble Doya explains that she was hoping to make Angelika uncomfortable, and maybe get some blackmail on her Doya tells Pain to avoid girls like her Pain wonders what kind of girl Doya thinks he needs Doya suggests he find a good girl She adds that girls like to "fix" guys, and that Pain in particular would be a challenge Doya asks about what happened with the 7 Heavens game Pain assures her that he did not kiss Anji, but did steal some alcohol from her apartment The two reach their destination, which has a sign next to it written in Infernal… or is the name of a metal band Pain tells Doya to stick with him, and approaches the doorman Pain and the doorman insult each other, before laughing about it The doorman lets the two in The room is filled with loud music, and a crowd of people dressed in punk attire Pain tells Doya that he knows the bartender, and takes her to get drinks Doya orders what Pain gets, and the two drink Pain asks if she minds the loud music Doya says no The two hear someone shouting for them It's Dismay and Violence! Doya tries to hide, and failed The twins comment that this is not Doya's usual scene, and ask why she was hiding Doya explains that she didn't want to risk getting seen by someone from the academy and getting in trouble The two point out that they'd get in trouble too The four students enter the mosh pit Doya, drunk and nervous, activates her wings Someone points it out, and shouts that there's an angel in the crowd The crowd cheers! Doya begins to enjoy herself Eventually, Doya and Pain leave, tired and soaked in sweat Pain asks if Doya had fun Doya shouts back that she can barely hear but had fun Pain takes them to go get some food He asks if Doya would like to go more over those concerts Doya would, but would prefer to get her hearing back first She asks how Pain knew the doorman Pain explains that the doorman knows his dad, and is cool enough to tattle on him Pain adds that his dad doesn't know what he gets up to, and his mom is not there Doya asks if Pain's knife is really an Infernal Knife Pain assures her that it is He comments that Doya's wings have been coming out more frequently Doya asks if Pain would like to join her for the Light Day celebrations Pain asks if there will be fire Doya says yes Pain is down for that

The two talk about their time at the academy Pain complains about the school and everyone there Doya points out that he does have some friends She asks if he likes his roommate, Grayson Pain does not, and compares the experience to living in a sitcom He asks why Doya keeps taking pictures of him Doya explains that he just keeps looking cool She shows him some of her pictures, and offers one as a gift She thanks him for helping her through some of her bad days She tells him that she sees him for what he really is - a nice guy The two return the the Academy Campus to go rest The following morning, all First Year Class A students are awoken by the voice of Professor Sharpbeak, and asked to go to class When they do so, Professor Sharpbeak apologizes for waking them up and explains that she did so to take care of a few things She reminds the class that she offered a reward for the group of students who did best that year She tells the class that she has something for them first She opens the door, and parents of the students begin to walk in! Carmilla and White's guardians teleport in behind them Rin's mom asks to see her little baby rat

Rin chills Doya, Doya splashes holy water, Carmilla lashes one down, White explodes, Zoey heals, Doya uppercuts Laelia Pieces of Laelia stick to Doya and psychically offer to help her, the group finish off the remaining statues VICTORY! Laelia speaks to Doya, asking her to focus on using the gauntlets for something Doya does so, and Laelia appears! She thanks the group for saving her, and admits that she doesn't know what happened She explains that she cannot properly reform in her current state, so for now she'll function as Doya's gauntlets Laelia fads away, and returns to Doya's gauntlets The party go towards the section of wall that collapsed around Professor Sharpbeak, and begin to dig at it They discuss Laelia, and also how White exploded Laelia speaks through Doya, and offers to help where she can The group dig a hole big enough to see Sharpbeak - she's alive, but unconscious and pinned under some rocks They try to dig a hole big enough for Rin to reach her Chadriz and two goons saunter into the room Our group warns him that they're getting a teacher, and that he should back off Chadriz calls the group pathetic for relying on teachers He pulls out his bat, and threatens to teach them a lesson FIGHT! Doya duels Chadriz, Carmilla is knocked down but gets up to bite one of the goons, White acts defensively, Zoey goes down, Rin saves Sharpbeak and warns the room that he found her, the bullies flee in fear VICTORY! Professor Sharpbeak teleports back into the room with Rin She apologizes for not being able to help, and asks what happened to Laelia Laelia speaks through Doya, and catches her up on what happened The Angels arrive with Professor Lang and several other students They explain that they heard trouble, and went to get Professor Lang to help with the situation Angelika heals up our group The professors suggest that everyone go to the nurse's office Our group hands in their samples, and does so

After getting patched up, Rin goes to speak to Nadia Zoey hangs back to talk to the Angels The rest of the group goes to speak with Javenesh and the other students that helped them They find those students at the Bow's End Tavern Carmilla tries to talk Nicollin out of the bathroom Nicollin refuses to leave, stating that he needs to read the whole newspaper first Carmilla, Doya, and White sit with Javenesh and the others Cad is also there, and tries to crack some jokes Everyone there agrees to not mention what happened with Chadriz to avoid getting in trouble The group thanks Javenesh for standing up to them Javenesh is happy to have helped, but admits that he's likely lost some friends because of it Our group warn Cad that he's on the wrong side of these conflicts Meanwhile, Rin goes to find Nadia He waits outside of the classroom she's in Class lets out, and Jooli spots Rin as they exit Rin asks if they knew what was happening He catches them up on the situation with Chadriz Jooli just tells him that's rough Rin mentions that he's a friend of Nadia's Jooli jokes that he's a teacher's pet Rin goes to speak to Nadia He tells her about what happened, including about the fight Nadia asks if she should tell Yasha and the other faculty about what happened Rin agrees, but asks that he and his friend's names not be mentioned He explains that they'll likely draw the ire of Chadriz even more if he found out they tattled Nadia assures him that he won't be mentioned or get in trouble, and offers to talk to Yasha Later that day, Carmilla goes to the Firejolt Cafe She asks Elaina what Sunny usually orders, and gets it She finds Sunny in a booth, and offers him the drink She asks why she keeps getting gifts from people Sunny is annoyed, explaining that people are trying to gain his favor through Carmilla, and that he wish that they didn't do that He adds that that is how it would work for his family Carmilla apologizes, saying that she knows he wants to keep his distance from the family She mentions that she visited Ramon in jail Sunny asks why Carmilla doesn't know Sunny suggests that she not talk to Ramon if she hates him He adds that he doesn't hate his family, just their work He comments that Carmilla seems like an emotional wreck if she was willing to visit someone like that in jail Sunny asks that Carmilla treat him like any other student Carmilla mentions that Sunny's the closest thing to family she has here Sunny tells her that's sad, but she has a new future here at the school The two hang out for some time, before Carmilla leaves to go to her down

As she walks, she finds herself in a snowy grayscale forest filled with ravens The ravens guide her to a humanoid figure - her father! Carmilla asks if she is in trouble Her father assures her that she is not, and asks to be given a branch She does so, and then catches him up on what happened He congratulates her on her findings, and returns the stick to her She asks for a hug He agrees, and hugs her As the two hug, Carmilla sinks into him, and finds herself in her coffin She gets out to the surprise of Aurora Aurora tells her that a letter came in for Carmilla, and that it was on the desk Carmilla opens it The letters is signed by Yasha, and explains that she has been given an exemption from the Hexpiral Ward Inside the letter is an amulet Carmilla puts it on, and feels instantly better She tells Aurora that she's never felt better Aurora tells her that's sad That night, Rin finds White on his evening walk Rin asks to walk with him White agrees

Rin explains that he told Nadia about what happened, and that he wanted to only mention it to White since White is the more tactical of the group He adds that he also didn't want to catch White by surprise White thanks him for the courtesy, and adds that its good that he told Nadia the whole truth Rin goes to to tell White about the book, and that it was both attunable and usable as a spell book White notices that Rin's eyes are blue now He asks if Rin has notices any changes since he attuned to the book Rin says no White suggests that Rin ask Vladimir if he's noticed anything Rin brings up the fact that White seems concerned about the book despite normally not emoting much White admits that book worries him, and that he's worried the book is possessing him Rin admits that he is also afraid of the book, and asks to be able to go to White about anything else about the book He adds that his possessiveness wasn't from possession, just a need to hold onto things after grouping up with so many siblings Rin thanks White for letting him talk about it, and goes to get some rest The next day, White talks to Grayson He mentions that something Pain told Grayson seemed to bother him Grayson tells him that Pain made a snide comment regarding Angelique The fight with Chadriz had ended in a stand-still, and he did not want Angelique to find out that he was involved with it at all

OUR VIEW TURNS TO A DIFFERENT PART OF THE WYRM ACADEMY CAMPUS A student walks down the hallways, and turns a cornet to see part of the Mage Tower team The Mage Tower players jump the student, and shove them into a locker Javenesh passes by, and waves at the Mage Tower players He strikes a conversation up with Cad, and mentions that the students in detention got out Chadriz is pissed, and threatens to find them Javenesh tells him to chill out Chadriz tells Javenesh that the Loser's haven't learned their lesson, and leaves to find them OUR VIEW PANS BACK TO OUR GROUP OF STUDENTS Ryonia warns the group about the Vexing Pest - a massive pest that supposedly lives in the Sedgemoor that mas gotten massive and somehow evades the faculty The group splits into pairs to search the swamp White casts Web on a stump to make a point that's easier to hop across islands with Rin tries to cross the water with ice, and fails Carmilla discusses crossing the water as a bird, but warns Nicollin that she cannot carry him as a bird Nicollin suggests that she work out more The students see a family of Brackish Trudges feeding nearby Dhazari and Doya spot some Eldritch Balm of a nearby island The two jump to the island The rest of the students discuss the balm Grayson compares it to a fungus As Doya tries to collect a sample, the far part of the island shifts as a giant balm-possessed scorpion unearths itself FIGHT! White and Rin fling magic missiles, Carmilla blasts, Zoey rots it, Doya kicks it and falls into quicksand, Dhazari saves her VICTORY! The scorpion sinks into the quicksand Doya collects a sample of the balm on the island The group cross the web bridge that White made Nicollin ascends with Carmilla's help Rin crosses a watery gap with ice They reach an island with two research sheds, and a tree stump in the center Two ooze-possessed dog-like creatures emerge from around the stump, and start talking! Zoey casts Comprehend Languages Dhazari recognizes the language, and asks what they want The creatures demands the samples of the balm they have, and tell her it will make them stronger The group refuses, and prepares to defend themselves FIGHT! Zoey poisons her blade, a cockatrice and an ooze appear, Carmilla lashes out, White uses holy water on the ooze and destroys it, Doya kicks down one of the dogs, Rin throws darts, Nicollin gets Play of the Game VICTORY! One of the shacks is a classroom that has become corrupted by the ooze The other contains supplies for gathering samples in the swamp, which Doya takes The group sees two islands reachable from their current one - one of which has a whirlpool nearby, and the other appears to have tentacles Zoey approaches the island with tentacles, and realizes that the tentacles are a mass of ooze-corrupted snakes reproducing She tries to put them to sleep so the group can grab the snakes as live samples The spell fails as oozes and mephits appear from the pile The students prepare to blast them before they can cross the water! FIGHT! Zoey harvests, Doya punches Zoey, Carmilla gets bit by a crocodile, White accelerates Grayson, Rin freezes VICTORY! The group gathers samples from the island, before trying to investigate the whirlpool Carmilla, Dhazari, and Doya go to the nearby island to peak into the whirlpool As they do so, the whirlpool starts hurling out fungus and goo around it The noise attracts a bear made out of swampy matter and a crocodile FIGHT! Rin and Nicollin release a barrage, Zoey strikes with poison, White accelerates Dhazari, Carmilla misses, Doya punches VICTORY!

Doya snaps a picture of Dhazari with the defeated bear The two pour their holy water down the whirlpool Zoey collects the rest of the group's holy water, and pours it down too As they do so, they see an underground tunnel as the whirlpool sputters and dies out The group reunite and discuss what they found Ryonia admits that she has no idea what they're talking about, and cannot see the balm She explains that weird stuff just happens at Wyrm Academy, and that she didn't question why things around campus were so odd this year She mentions that another upperclassman, Rootha, has a literal living thesis The students go to reunite with the other group to report their findings to the professors They find Professor Lang tending to some injured students near a pile of dead vegetation and another swamp bear She explains that they had encountered a similar whirlpool that summoned the bear and several shambling mounds She assures them that she has the situation handled, and asks that they go report their findings to Professor Sharpbeak The group exit the Sedgemoor, and stop to take a bathroom break As they finish their break, they hear a commotion from nearby It's Chadriz and his goons! Chadriz tells them that it's unfair that they got out of detention and that he never did Zoey tries to act friendly, and tells him that they got assignments instead Rin speaks up to agree with her Chadriz starts being racist towards him, and then towards Carmilla Zoey threatens to fight him Doya tries to tell them to calm down Rin pees Chadriz's pants As Chadriz approaches the group, he is stopped as Javenesh appears between them! Javenesh tells them to stop Zoey agrees Chadriz does not, and throws a punch!

As he does so, his goon spring into action, but are stopped by the other students! They tell our group to go get Professor Sharpbeak Our group run from the fight to go to the Lorehold Demiplane As they leave, they discuss who peed Chadriz's pants They realize it was Rin, who acts cheeky about it They reach the Lorehold Demiplane, which consists of a massive desert filled with ruins White guides them towards the ruins where Dean Tullus's office is As they get close, they are passed by a group of first year students fleeing from the ruins Our group runs in, and finds the building in a state of disarray, with burn marks and balm littering the floor They hear Professor Sharpbeak yelling for someone to come to their senses The group reach her, and see her standing off against Laelia, who is glowing dark red with the magic of the balm Sharpbeak yells at the group to get back As she does so, Laelia takes the opportunity to hurl Sharpbeak behind her The ruins behind her collapse, blocking Sharpbeak off to the party Laelia has a moment of clarity, and tells the party to flee The balm takes back control, and Laelia approaches FIGHT!

OUR VIEW PANS BACK, TO SCENES THAT THE WRITERS PREVIOUSLY CUT FROM THE PAST WEEK Zoey suffers The Angels invite her to the Firejolt Café, and ask what's wrong Zoey explains the nature of detention Anji tells her that she'd rather die than go through that Zoey breaks the bad news about Puff to Anji Angelique is happy that Zoey liked her outfit, and asks about the other two outfits Zoey mentions that she will likely be able to get Angelika's back, but not Anji's since Doya wanted to keep that The group wonder why Doya would do that The conversation turns to hand-me-downs, where Angelika mentions her two brothers, and Angelique being an only child Zoey explains that someone tattled about what happened at Dapplewing's Manor, and asks if any of them knew who did it The Angels act like they have no idea Zoey realizes that she's running late for detention, and runs out of the café White goes into the Biblioplex, and finds Urzmaktok with a large pile of books Urzmaktok explains that he was researching the balm, and found that it brings some things to life, and mutates others via their blood He adds that the magic seems to fade quickly, which he was able to confirm with what other students had said about it He mentions that, in addition to that research, he was also researching the Dragon Houses He explains that his interests are varied enough that the decision of which to go with wasn't easy Quandrix appealed to him from an academic perspective, but Witherbloom would allow him to honor the shamanistic side of his mother's family He asks White about Lorehold White explains that Lorehold is about learning from the past and future, and that he hopes to decipher his own past He suggests that Urzmaktok trust in his own feelings about the decision Urzmaktok admits that Witherbloom seems more useful because of the current crisis with the Eldritch Balm He considers using it to keep his ancestor's traditions alive while applying more modern magic to the ancient arts He realizes that he can use his research to create something he can show to his family He thanks White for talking to him about the subject He then asks White if they can keep plants in their dorm White agrees, mentioning that they each have half of the room Urzmaktok asks about White getting a statue for Lorehold White considers it since it is a catalyst for magic, but isn't sure what spirit he will summon Later during class, Professor Sharpbeak asks Rin to come speak to her She asks to see his ID and his passport He hands it over, and she gives him almost identical copies of the paperwork She explains that Yasha asked for new copies of his paperwork to be made, since Yasha needed to mark his unique magic in it He looks through the paperwork, and finds that the only thing different is a note that he can use meta-magic Professor Sharpbeak then takes his old paperwork so it can be properly dealt with Later, Doya asks Rin about the book Rin admits that he still has it on his person Doya suggests getting a lead box to hide it in Rin counters that he'd rather keep it close Rin's brother adds that it's safer there Our group are surprised as Rin's brother, Bec, appears! Bec introduces himself, and asks to speak to Rin Rin asks if this has to be private Bec doesn't care, but does want to get food while they talk The group travel to the Bow's End Tavern The two brothers order a lot of food Bec explains that Yasha told him everything what happened, including that she had physically stop him He congratulates Rin for his bravery The rest of our group hypes up his stand against Yasha Bec mentions that he wouldn't hold back Rin's tuition for this… if he were the one paying for it The group discuss Bec's undeath and the Hexpiral Ward Doya remembers the information she saw written on the nurse's note - the items listed were the Brooch of Living Essence, and the Ring of Mind Shielding

Bec wonders what Rin is going to do with the book, and threatens to take it Zoey realizes that it is just sibling banter, the rest of the group do not Bec explains that he doesn't care what Rin actually does with it Rin mentions that Nadia told Yasha about that Bec suggests that Rin try to fix her to not be such a narc White wonders if Rin is cursed to keep the book safe Bec doesn't know, but admits to not knowing much He explains that sorcery doesn't run in the family, but a susceptibility to it does A mountain of food arrives, and the brothers dig in! Bec mentions that their parents miss Rin Rin tells them to tell them that he misses them too Later, White is summoned by Dean Tullus She tells him that she's disappointed in his choice of friends, but that this could be a learning experience He tells Tullus that he was afraid of this, and that he was right in his report to her that the figure in the shadows would act soon She appreciates his honesty, but mentions that she could not see his evidence He swears to get more tangible evidence next time White tells her that he appreciates that she has expectations of him, because it means that she cares about him, and will strive to meet those expectations She reminds him that his time in the academy is a lesson both in academics, and in social skills WE NOW RETURN TO THE CURRENT EPISODE AND TIME FRAME The group arrive at Carmilla's dorm, and find Aurora already there Carmilla starts to explain that she's going to contact her patron She interrupted when Dean Kol appears from the shadows! He tells Carmilla that he's here to speak to her, but that her friends need to here this too He asks why she feed on humanoid blood, and reminds her that it's illegal Carmilla tries to defend herself, explaining that she had consent for it Kol reminds her that's still illegal Zoey asks why that law exists White suggests the charm ability of vampires Kol confirms that to be the case Carmilla points out that she's not a real vampire Kol counters that, if she wants that exception, she cannot claim to be a real vampire Doya tries to defend Carmilla Kol tells her to be quiet He then adds that Carmilla didn't ace her last exam He tells her that she cannot feed on humanoid blood again He asks what she's doing She explains that she's going to contact her familiar He demands to oversee it Carmilla agrees in a huff She performs the ritual, and asks to bring her flock with her She appears in the colorless forest filled with ravens alone She follows them to a humanoid figure with sharp white features, one empty eye socket and one bird eye Carmilla says hi to her dad She tells him about the attack on the theater, and the connection to Drovath Harrn She asks that her flock be there to hear their conversation Her father declines that request, explaining that her flock isn't close enough yet He tells her that Yasha did speak to him about the mausoleum, and asked to be taken to see it as per their agreement Carmilla asks what she can do about the situation Her father suggests gathering evidence about Drovath's actions She counters that she tried, and the faculty couldn't see it He responds that he cannot hide if he is caught He warns her that older people have more stubborn minds unlike her and her friends, and asks that she try to connect to them He adds that Yasha in particular is rather prideful Carmilla tells her father that she wrote a letter to her biological family, but they hadn't responded He counters that they haven't responded yet He tells her that the best things she can do if they don't get back to her is to live a life worth living despite them Carmilla is sent out of the woods, and reappears in her dorm Kol asks what happened Carmilla claims that she was told nothing of value, just empty platitudes Doya mentions that they were contacting the patron about the task that the three professors had given them Professor Kol is upset he wasn't told about that He leaves to go talk to the professors about it, but scold Carmilla as he goes

When he is gone, Carmilla tells the group what really happened Aurora is confused Zoey tells her that she trusts her, and catches her up to speed on what is happening Our group begins to leave Zoey asks to speak to Carmilla alone She apologizes for endangering Carmilla during the fight at the theater Carmilla apologizes for not trusting Zoey She then asks Zoey about forming a band Zoey admits that she doesn't know much about bands, but would love to work with Carmilla again The group go to rest The next day, they meet up with the professors and the other students from detention They are taken to the Sedgemoor Professor Lang explains that they will split into two groups, one with the professors and one with more students She tells them to find samples of the balm, and to use holy water on any large samples Our group is put in the group with more students, which begins to search the Sedgemoor Carmilla and Doya walk ahead, and talk Carmilla asks about if Anji kissed Doya Doya refutes it Carmilla asks about her comment after their performance Doya changes her answer, and claims it was an intimidation tactic by Anji Doya admits to not understanding women Carmilla asks if Doya realized that Pain's song was about her Doya did not, but does now Doya gets flustered, and activates her wings and halo! Doya panics, and asks Carmilla what to do Carmilla asks if she's gay Doya tells her to stop dodging the question Doya admits that she thought friends talked about relations, but not Doya's relationships specifically Doya makes excuses on why she cannot be gay The rest of the students wonder what they are talking about The two rejoin the rest of the group The group finds that the boats used to explore the swamp have been taken

Carmilla learns her Wand of Wonder is a fake, Zoey tries to "help" the ooze and in the otyugh and fails, Rin conjures a snowstorm, the figure in the black robe and the helm appears, Doya snaps a picture of him, Urzmaktok yanks the Owlbear away, White accelerates its doom The curtains of the stage drop down to reveal the word REVENGE written on them in red Rin kills Guillermo, Mailu gets knocked out but is stabilized by White, Zoey gets downed, Carmilla bites the Otyugh, Doya kills the slaad, Rampart slays the Otyugh VICTORY! The chaos still continues as other groups deal with the other animated props The remaining props suddenly freeze solid as Yasha appears! She cuts a portal in the air, and orders the students in as other professors arrive to help with the situation White collects samples of the ooze on the way out The students funnel in, and find themselves in a long hallways outside of Yasha's office Doya tells the group about her photo, and they discuss what that means White gives one of the samples to Urzmaktok, and asks that he research what it is The students wait in line, as groups are called into Yasha's office and then let out Pain and the rest of the Violent Tendencies approach our group Pain asks if Doya is okay Doya assures him that she is fine The rest of Violent Tendencies wonder if they'll get in trouble Pain hopes that he does Our group suggests embellish the story if that's what he truly wants The Angels approach Zoey, and ask if she's okay Zoey admits that she was hurt Angelique heals her, and assures her that she won't get in trouble for what happened She tries to claim that Pain did all of this Zoey counters that he did not, and mentions the helmed figure Angelique mentions that she had seen the helmed figure before Violent Tendencies is called into the office, and exit several minutes later looking rather mad Our group are called into the office, where several members of the faculty are waiting, including Carmilla's and White's guardians Doya freaks out about Professor Kol's appearance She told to be polite, and the entire group is told to sit down Yasha demands to know what happened, and explains that the entire group is suspect since they've been there for the other incidents The group try to explain the situation, and present the photo and one of the vial Yasha informs them that all she sees is a blank photo and an empty vial She adds that she doesn't appreciate their lying She then tells them that they're already in her sights for being trouble makers For Rin, she mentions his contraband book For Doya, she brings up the manor For Carmilla, she reminds Carmilla that drinking human blood is illegal Carmilla points out that it was consensual Yasha compares it to assisted suicide, and tells Carmilla and Zoey that they are in trouble For White, Yasha has nothing, but tells him that he is guilty by association Yasha demands the book from Rin Rin refuses Yasha freezes Rin solid Nadia apologizes as she takes the book from Rin Yasha tells the group that they have two weeks detention Doya counters that this is stupid Yasha adds another week of detention to the punishment White wonders what the point of all of this is, since none of their arguments are being listened to Zoey pleads that the faculty investigate the vial and photo The group are dismissed from the office The moment Rin is freed, he grabs the book back and tries to flee Yasha draws her blade, and attempts to stop him? ESCAPE? Yasha swings her sword and misses, Rin shields her steel-wind strike, Yasha dominates his mind and forces him to give back the book CAPTURE! Rin is forcibly excused from the office

The group head towards the dorms, and complain about how unfair the situation is Carmilla wonders who told Yasha about the bite, and accuses Zoey of telling the Angels about it Zoey tells her that she did not Doya counters that anyone could have guessed that the bite happened She continues to complain about how stupid the situation is The group agree that the faculty cannot be trusted They decide to have a sleepover, except for Zoey who wants to be alone Carmilla stops by her dorm, and encounters an upset Aurora The two bond over how unfair their punishments are Carmilla mentions that someone told about her biting Zoey, and to not trust anyone Meanwhile, White encounters Urzmaktok in his dorm, who mentions that Dawn got detention for telling Yasha about the helmed figure The Losers have their sleepover, and the following morning have detention They see several other students in detention One of them is Grayson, who tells the group that Yasha somehow found out about what happened in the Shadowfell Later that week, Nadia goes to speak to Rin in his room She apologies for taking his book She explains that most of the faculty don't believe them about the ooze, but she does and is trying to find out more She gives Rin's book back to him, explaining that she snuck it away from Yasha She warns that the book is dangerous, but trusts Rin to keep it safe on campus She explains that the power of the book is still partially sealed away, but she was able to partially unseal it for him As she leaves, she suggests that he attune to it White is visited by Cecil in his dorm Cecil tells him that he liked White's performance, and that he won second place in the Talent Show He gives White a Cloak of Protection, and asks where Dawn's dorm is He mentions that first place went to the Angels, who got a gold prize A week passes, and our group are in detention with Professor Auron yet again Professors Lang, Nadia, Sharpbeak enter the room, and ask to speak to Professor Auron The students wonder what this is about A few minutes later, the professors return Professor Sharpbeak asks for our group, and explains that they have a special assignment for the group instead of detention She offers to let any students that could help in on the assignment White and Zoey speak on behalf of most of the students Doya speaks up for Violent Tendencies Professor Auron admits defeat and just lets all the students go The students are split into smaller groups with one professor each, and our group and Pain are spoken to by Sharpbeak She explains that she noticed that something was off, but didn't want to say it in front of Yasha and the other professors She adds that Urzmaktok approached her with his data about the vial, and the findings were concerning The data suggested that the ooze was a corrupting or mutating factor, and Urzmaktok's numbers showed it to be a real threat She tells the group that their assignment is to find more evidence about the goo, since the faculty cannot see it She offers the group holy waters so they can test how it reacts to holy magic Doya takes Carmilla's allocated holy water Sharpbeak asks them to check the Witherbloom Demiplane for any signs of goo She tells them to report to her in the Lorehold Demiplane, since she's filling in for Dean Tullus since Tullus is sick Doya informs her that the correct terminology is "down with the sickness" Carmilla asks how Professor Kol feels about her Sharpbeak assures her that Kol will be happy with her once they find evidence The group head out to search for clues!

White reports to an unknown entity about his time at Wyrm Academy He mentions the ongoing preparations, and expresses his concern that the entity in the shadows hasn't made any recent moves He comments about the necessity of secrets, and asks if the entity has any questions The entity does not, and tells White that he's free to go Meanwhile, the Angels have a discussion amongst themselves Angelika is fuming that Zoey chose to perform with Carmilla and Doya instead of them They agree that Zoey cannot win They decide to enlist Chadriz's help, and Angelique goes to speak with him The following day, our group play MASH with Larksann and Quentillius Antiphiun Melentor III Carmilla and Zoey get bad results, Quentillius and White get decent results, Larksann gets great results Doya asks what social clique Quentillius is part of Quentillius assures her that he's a social chameleon, and can play whatever role he needs to Zoey goes to sit with the angels as class begins Later that day, White goes to the Firejolt Cafe to get some coffee He is approached by Nicollin, who asks to speak to him Nicollin is unsure what to order White suggests tea, and orders extra coffee for himself Nicollin tells White that he's noticed how people speak to White voluntarily, and asks why White asks if they can speak in private Elina doubles on that request to get Nicollin away from the main counter Nicollin and White go sit in a booth Nicollin asks what White's secret is White explains that he's less social than he looks, but he makes a point to get to know people Nicollin admits that he's already asked Carmilla for help about socializing, but didn't get many results He mentions that he's making an effort to listen to people more, but nothing has improved He wants to change how he interacts with people He asks White what would happen if he were to talk about minute details about Mage Tower White explains that he would try to steer the conversation he is interested in, and if not likely leave Nicollin asks how to find a subject people would like White suggests asking them, or discussing things that people broadly like Nicollin wonders what to do if wants to talk about something no one cares about White suggests that he be a writer, and that the Wyrm Watcher has open position Nicollin comments that he was playing coy about his drink order, thanks White, and leaves Carmilla is approached by a student who gives her a signed picture of Angel d'Amour That night, Carmilla sneaks out, and goes to speak to the people that Ramon recommend They give her information about a job, and tell her that Don will be happy She tries to break into a store, but gets spotted by a canary and then a bystander as she leaves She hides, and sees the store's owner argue with the bystander The guards are called and arrest the bystander She returns to her employers, who tell her that she won't get to speak to the Don and that she now owes them 100GP Carmilla is more miserable than usual the next few days Aurora notices, and asks what's happening Carmilla states that she messed up in a major way When pressed, she explains the situation She asks what to do Aurora doesn't know She asks if Carmilla's tried Rin's blood She adds that that she did, and that it tasted weird The two discuss how to drink Rin's blood, and how Zoey might react to Carmilla drinking someone else's blood The two agree to get Nicollin and finally talk to the nurses Aurora asks why Carmilla hangs out with him so much Carmilla explains that she finds him funny They find him, and head to the nurse's office

Carmilla offers the two friendship bracelets as they walk They find Nurse DeSantis Carmilla delivers a prepared statement about their situation The Nurse asks about how much it hurts Nicollin is difficult about that The Nurse explains that she can't do much to help, but can offer some pain medication She also gives them forms that she can present to Archjusticar Yasha about adding some exceptions to the ward for them She writes down the name of a magic item that could help, but her handwriting is illegible Meanwhile, Rin notices that Ethel seems extra irritable He sees her trying to set up some pranks, but failing He spots Chadriz and his friends trying to shove her into a lock He intervenes and tells them to stop They say no Rin asks if Chadriz is too weak to take him on Chadriz asks if he's going to just tattle to Nadia again He asks why Rin cares, and if Ethel is Rin's friend Ethel says no Rin says yes Chadriz asks how someone like him got into the school Rin counters that he doesn't know how someone with Chadriz's lack of talent got in Chadriz decides to fall back, but assures Rin that next time he sees Rin, Rin is dead Rin helps Ethel out of the locker Ethel asks why he helped her He assures her that he couldn't let them treat her like that Ethel storms off Rin follows Ethel asks why he's following Rin explains that he wants to help her Ethel points out that associating with her will put a target on both of them Rin counters that they'll get bullied either way He explains that growing up with his siblings taught him how to stand up for himself Ethel asks about his ice magic, and if he's used it against Chadriz She explains that she has a plan for a prank against Chadriz, but she needs help and Vladimir was unwilling to help her The two scheme their revenge against Chadriz as Rin escorts Ethel to her room He finds out that Prism is her roommate Prism wants in on the prank The next day, they meet up outside the boy's locker room Rin sneaks in, and waits for Chadriz to be alone in the showers He signals Ethel to come in, and freezes the water As Chadriz reacts, Ethel yells at him and casts Darkness on him The two laugh as Chadriz slips and slides in the darkness The continue to laugh as their flee Ethel asks how Rin casted the spell silently Rin admits that he's actually a sorcerer, and asks her to keep it a secret Ethel asks how much he's willing to pay to keep his secret Rin wets her pants instead She wets his pants in return She agrees to keep his secret and train him as a sorcerer if he helps her prank people He agrees Meanwhile, the Angels talk to Zoey They ask about her performance and what she had planned Zoey admits that she didn't have an outfit planned The Angels allow her to use some of their old clothes for the performance Zoey accepts, thanks them, and goes to show Carmilla and Doya Carmilla refuses the offer Doya has conflicting feelings but accepts Anji's outfit The three agree to coordinate around Zoey's outfit from them The day of the festival comes, and our group go towards the Rose Theater along with Dawn They discuss what Dawn and White have planed The two keep their secrets They enter the packed theater, and find seats near Pain's group Professor Totsky speaks up, introduces herself and the show, and asks that the students get ready She introduces the judges for the show: Herself, Professor Auron, a dwarven Lorehold professor named Ghostforge, and an elven Prismari professor named Cecil Rin explains to our group that Cecil was also a friend of his brother Professor Totsky concludes her speech, and the show begins! There a lot of various acts, some good and some bad As Missing Peace get ready, Zoey notices Larksann wandering off She approaches, and asks what's wrong Larksann explains that she's nervous about the audience Zoey asks that she not look at the audience , but her instruments and the band She assures Larksann that the audience will be barely visible, and it'll be like she's just at practice Larksann thanks her, and goes to rejoin Missing Peace

Missing Peace is up next, and they performs a song written by Larksann Greta performs a bunch of weightlifting, ending with lifting Rampart in full armor Cad does some standup, and makes jokes about a wife Urzmaktok does a dance of his people with illusory orcs while scantily clad Larine does a water dance routine in a pool that is conjured for her Javenesh and Jooli perform a fake fight scene where Javenesh breaks various objects Rosimy and the LARP club do a physical comedy adventure Drazhomir reads a moving poem Rubina, Shuvadri, and Tilana perform an acapella song Egao and Haru perform a Yumikuni song with traditional instruments and fans Dawn and White go next White explains that they will be painting something, and encourages the audience to guess what they're making Dawn creates a massive three-dimensional canvas The two paint a massive golden creature, which is revealed to be a sphinx! Sunny performs a song with a spectral band He thanks his family as he leaves Carmilla panics at the thought of his family being there Nicollin delivers a monologue that puts most people to sleep Quentillius puts on a one-man play Carmilla, Doya, and Zoey go behind stage to prepare Zoey asks if Carmilla needs blood Carmilla assures her that she does not They are interrupted by the Angels, who wish Zoey the best As the three go on stage, Anji kisses Doya Doya walks on stage with her halo floating and her wings out Carmilla sees Sunny's parents, and panics more Zoey introduces the group to the audience as the Rainbow Rebels The three begin to perform a song! Rin and White spot Chadriz in the rafters above Doya He casts Catapult and flings one of Doya's energy drinks at him Chadriz and the drink and knocked over and fall elsewhere in the rafters The Rebels finish their performance, and go backstage They return to their seats as the Angels being their performance The performance has three parts; a song for each Angel Anji's part features all three songs with twintails and puffy skirts, purple lightning, and vines that lift Anji above the audience Angelique's part features the three in suits, Angelique singing as the other two follow her around, and Angelique acting romantic to the other two as she sings Angelika's part features the three in tap dance shoes, and a music number that features Angelika opening her wings Doya gets a perfect picture of Angelika They get a standing ovation as the performance ends Doya stops the Angels as they return to their seats Angelika tells her that she's welcome for the picture Doya tells Anji that she should be cheer captain Doya tells Angelique that she… had a nice song As the girls return to their seats, the Losers and the tiefling twins hand out the tomato bags White gives his to Chadriz, who gladly accepts it Pain walks on stage with his team, and introduces his team as Violent Tendencies He explains that he's going to play a song about how all the bad things add up He begins to sing a very suggestive song while occasionally looking at Doya Professors Auron and Ghostforge get up to try to stop the show Carmilla sends Nandor to invisibly distract one of them Doya convinces Maxwell to give her chicken feed to put on the ground to make them trip She then sics Nicollin on one of them Puff investigates the pyrotechnics, catches on fire, and explodes Vladimir casts Wall of Force to protect them from the professors As all the chaos ensues, some of the props back stage shamble forward, animated by black ooze The crowd begins to panic! Some of the students go to stop some of them, as our group goes to stop some others: An otyugh, an owlbear, and a slaad! FIGHT!

All of the first year students are summoned to a theater for the awarding of the purple uniforms to all of the honor students Yasha approaches the podium, and explains that the ceremony is for the students who actually tried Professor Sharpbeak speaks next, clarifying that Yasha meant that it is for the students who got the best grades, but assures the class that everyone is a winner Angelique is called to stage first She shakes the hands of the professors and Yasha, before standing beside them as her uniform turns purple Rubina and Urzmaktok are called to the stage next White is called after them He spots Grayson trying to cheer for him, but Angelika elbowing him Dhazari and two other students are called to the stage Rin is called to the stage next He notices that Yasha keeps an eye on him after she shakes his hand since his handshake was concerningly cold Nicollin and another student are called to the stage Professor Sharpbeak asks if anyone wants to speak, and calls upon the students except for Nicollin Rubina speaks, and expresses that she is looking forward to her future classes Angelique repeats a similar sentiment, and adds that it's been a great year to make new friends She comments that a lot of the students on stage are from Class A Rin admits that he's surprised to be up there, but knows that knowledge is not predetermine that anyone can get it if they work for it White thanks the class, is grateful for his friends, and is looking forwards to the next year Urzmaktok states that he feels at home at the academy The other students except Nicollin speak Professor Sharpbeak dismisses the students for lunch, and then lets Nicollin deliver his speech Doya interrupts him, causing him to start from the beginning Our group are they only ones left in the audience by the time it completes They hurry to get lunch while they can As they eat, Rin admits that he was nervous about all the attention The group discuss Doya's tendency to throw her shoes Nicollin brags about his purple status Doya, Rin, and White go to watch TV Zoey goes to summon a new familiar Carmilla and Larksann stick around to watch Zoey begins to play an incredibly fast-paced song as she summons her familiar, which she completes in seven minutes She picks it up, and names is Slash Zoey marvels over her creation as it explores She explains that most of her creations don't last long, and hopes that Slash will live as long as Sproing did Slash accidentally cuts its mouth with one of its poisonous talons, and dies from its own venom She comments that she only used half of the components, and might be able to get another casting out of them Carmilla and Larksann point out that summoning a familiar should take an hour, and that she should slow down Zoey admits that she cannot focus for that long, but can try her best She summons another familiar in 10 minutes, and names it Puff Doya, Rin, and White complain about how bad the TV show they just watched was The next day, Carmilla, Doya, and Rin receive a note from White to meet him at his dorm As they meet up, Doya is surprised to see the others since she thought it was a confession note from White White appears, and informs them that he did not write the note As he opens the door, the rest of the group realize that Zoey didn't get a note Inside the dorm is Pain! He explains that he picked the lock to get in, and that he need to talk to them about Zoey He warns them that she has been spending too much time with the Angels, and that she might have warned them about their plan He asks if they are still in on the plan He tells them to keep Zoey out of it, since she cannot be trusted Urzmaktok asks White what was happening as Pain and the rest of the group leave the dorm The group reunite at Zoey's dorm They find Missing Peace there, who tell them that Zoey was last seen with the Angels Asher jokes about Carmilla looking for her for another kiss

Meanwhile, Zoey hangs out with the Angels in Angelika's room They ask her about the show Zoey tells them that she had other plans, but will perform with them if those plans fall through She admits that Carmilla is one of the people she had plans with The Angels wonder if Carmilla would be happier with stage work, which she can do if Zoey performs with them Zoey admits that the other person is Doya The Angels call Doya's behavior toxic, and warn Zoey not tolerate indecisiveness or rudeness for her They assure her that they will be there if and when Doya fails her Zoey congratulates Angelique on the purple uniform, and wonders if they all will get purple uniforms Anji hugs her, and tells her purple does indeed look good on her Zoey excuses herself to find Carmilla and Doya to ask about the show She finds them nearby, being blocked by Nicollin Our group reunites, and tries to go to Commons Room to find a seat They fail, and go to the Archway commons instead The three girls discuss which song to pick Carmilla and Doya discuss their shared interest in the musician Danny Doya suggests "I Kissed a Girl" by Amanita Darling, and assures the others that she's straight Chadriz calls her gay from across the commons Carmilla is approached by a student who gives her a Wand of Wonders in hopes that she'll put in a good word with Sunny The three girls discuss songs for a while Zoey tells them that they need to come to a decision soon, otherwise she'll need to go with the Angels Doya rips up the papers, and picks the song that didn't get destroyed Zoey asks why she’s so upset Doya vents about all of the awful things that the Angels have done to her Carmilla adds in her own experiences Zoey doesn't believe Doya, and casts Zone of Truth on her Doya repeats all the things she said, minus the part about the graffiti in the Manor The rest of the group join in with their own experiences and observations Zoey gets uncomfortable, explaining that she didn't realize the Angels were doing this She adds that she wanted a decision either way soon since she wanted to put on a good show The rest of the group assure her that they will, and begin to leave Zoey stops Doya and asks to speak to her alone She explains that she understands why Doya dressed up as Roman, and assures Doya that she will support Doya no matter what gender Doya identifies as Doya has no clue what Zoey is talking about Later that week, Rin goes to show his book to Nadia He is stopped by Chadriz, who picks him up by his hood Chadriz tells Rin that Rin owes him money, since he lost the bet about Rin eating the sandwich He takes Rin's back and threatens to hurt Rin FIGHT? Rin covers himself with ice armor, Chadriz hurts himself on it, Rin freezes the ground and escapes with his bag ESCAPE! He arrives at Nadia's office He shows her the book, explaining that his brother originally "found" it in Valtahost He admits that he is not a wizard, but is a sorcerer with powers that likely originated with the book She asks about his spellbook He tells her that he has one, but that Vladimir and White thought that it was incomplete She asks if his brother stole it He doesn't know, but thinks it's likely She tells him that she'll need to report this to Yasha He pleads that she doesn't, but warns that she might already know since she shook his hand He asks if he is in trouble Nadia tells him that might be, but not right now She offers to take it to have it identified He refuses, explaining that he wants to keep it close to him He explains that Chadriz already tried to take it, and that he's willing to use force to defend it She agrees to prepare the identify spell for when he;s ready, but asks that he keep out of trouble until then

Meanwhile, White sees Dawn having trouble with her art He asks to see what she's working on, and finds that it's empty Dawn explains that she's having trouble getting started White suggests working with limited colors, maybe red and blue She agrees, and asks if she can paint him He agrees, and strikes a pose After some time, she completes her work and shows him It is a semi-surreal painting of White in the pose that he struck She used red and white for most of the outfit, mixing them for purple, but left blank canvas for his skin She offers him the painting He accepts, and asks if she wants to help him paint sets for the talent show She happily agrees Meanwhile, Zoey helps Missing Peace practice in her and Larksann's dorm They are interrupted when Guillermo knocks on the window, and offers Zoey a note asking to be let in She lets him in, and he turns into Carmilla! Carmilla admits that she didn't think Missing Peace would be there Asher jokes about her wanting alone time with Zoey Carmilla takes Zoey hand, and asks her to come with her and not ask any questions Zoey does Carmilla takes her to one of the theater club's stages, which currently has a spotlight on two chairs They sit in the chairs Rose petals begin to fall as Guillermo and Nandor pluck petals from the regenerating roses Carmilla pulls out a lute, and sings Zoey a song that she wrote just for Zoey! As the song finishes, Zoey crushes Carmilla with a hug The two hold hands as they go for a walk

Session #16 - The Doppelgänger Disaster (Among Us) One-Shot

June 20th, 2023

Doya stands before Angelika's open grave She gives a eulogy about Angelika's untimely demise She explains that Angelika's death is okay because she will be succeeded by someone more pretty, smart, and popular - Doya herself As the grave is filled, Doya adds that there are no flowers because those are too expensive As the funeral draws to a close, an earthquake begins a storm forms above her Angelika's hand erupts from the ground, and snaps in front of her face Angelika's hand turns into Carmilla's, as Doya awakes from her daydream to see Carmilla trying to get her attention Professor Sharpbeak asks who in the class doesn't already knows the rules She brings out a chest of props from the theater She explains that the goal of the game for most of the class is to find the doppelgängers in the "village", and the goal of the doppelgängers is to kill enough villagers until they are in the majority The game consists of rounds marked as days At the end of each day, the village can vote and execute one of their members After that, a night will occur, and doppelgängers can kill one villager each There are three special villagers: A paladin that can protect other students, a diviner who can determine the role of another student, and a hunter that will kill a chosen target if they are killed by a doppelgänger The students approach the chest of props, and dress up for the game Carmilla dresses as a mummy, Doya as a knight, White as a judge, Zoey as a vampire, and Rin as himself As they return to their seats, the game begins! Our group holds a funeral for Sproing, along with Aurora and Larksann Zoey gives a eulogy Most of the group just wonder who Sprong is The funeral is crashed by the Angels, who come to comfort Zoey They are followed by a crown of students who also pay their respects for Sproing Aurora is overwhelmed, and leaves The Angels then take Zoey to get some ice cream The other students stay and genuinely mourn Sproing The rest of the group agree that the Angels cannot be allowed to influence Zoey like this anymore OUR VIEW CUT BACKS TO SEVERAL OTHER EVENTS THAT HAPPENED THE WEEK PRIOR White takes a nightly walk, and spots Grayson grumbling over some papers Grayson explains that he's looking for inspiration for a story for the Wyrm Watcher He was trying to find something interesting, but all the potential stories are too old or too boring He asks White for help in finding a story White agrees, and then suggests Sproing's funeral Grayson considers it, but asks that White find something better He also offers White a spot on the Wyrm Watcher team if he wants it White declines the offer, but goes to find a better story Over the next few days, he snoops around to find material for a better article He spots Cad at the Cute Conjurations Club cuddling with a familiar He sees Lichie trying to drink, with a frustrated janitor following after He notices a professor asking to speak to Puffcap after class He listens in to the conversation, and hears Puffcap being scolded for having Druid's Weed White finds Grayson, who is trying and failing to interview Germaine White reports his findings He suggests that Grayson go with the Druid's Weed story, since outrage spreads fast Grayson agrees, and remarks that this could be an ongoing story He thanks White for the effort The two discuss the importance of newspaper in civilizations That night, Carmilla is on a walk of her own She is surprised when Nicollin appears, and asks what she's doing He asks how she feels about him She tells him that she thinks he is cool He doesn't believe that, explaining that he's found that most people find him boring He mentions that Grayson is the only one who finds his topics of conversation interesting He asks Carmilla how he can improve his conversations She suggests that he avoid interrupting people, and that he needs to wait for other people to finish He does so She adds that he should try talking about things that people like, and uses Zoey as an example Nicollin apologizes for not being able to attend Sproing's funeral Carmilla assures him there will be more The two sit down, and Carmilla suggests that he have practice conversations to try to work on his social skills Nicollin mentions that people will worry that he's overfeeding on them Carmilla suggests that he not do that He doesn't like the idea, explaining that he has fed well in this school She warns that over-feeding will only drive people away He considers trying to stealthily feed She warns him about possible consent issues with that idea He asks that she try to get him invited to more social events so he can try to work on his social skills He also asks that she help him find better people to feed off of, explaining that Doya is like junk food to him Carmilla asks about his hobbies He mentions that he likes history, and subjects adjacent to talking She suggests a few clubs for him to join The two agree to talk more in the morning, and part ways As Carmilla goes back to her dorm, she is approached by a student The student tells her that they heard she was a friend of Sunny's, gives her a loaded D20, and leaves The next week, Doya is summoned to Archjusticar Yasha's office

She arrives and sees Angelika smiling smugly at her Doya insists that she didn't do anything Yasha explains that she called Doya in regarding the incident at Captain Dapplewing's Manor She tells Doya that Angelika saw her going in, and then running out later while dropping a marker Angelika suggests that Doya's behavior is due to her divorced parents Doya asks why Angelika was there Angelika claims to have been going on a walk, and uses the other two angels as alibis Doya mentions that she didn't take Sassy Sally Jane Yasha points out that neither of them mentioned the doll Doya admits that it was a contest held by another student, but assures that she didn't take the doll or deface anything She refuses to tell who did either of those things Yasha admires her courage, but tells Doya that she will not show her any mercy Yasha asks to search Doya's room Doya agrees, warning Yasha that she will find the doll but that it was planted there Yasha cuts a portal in the air, and ushers Angelika and Doya through Yasha enters the room, and tells Greta to leave Greta meats Doya in the hall, and asks if Doya's getting busted for drugs Angelika enters the room, and looks around while Yasha does Doya disclaims the unfairness of Angelika being allowed to enter Yasha allows Doya to be in the room too After some searching, Yasha stabs the ground, and says Sally Jane's name as she is surrounded in blue light Yasha finds the doll in the closet, and warns Doya that she will not tolerate any further offenses Later, Rin is approached by Dismay and Violence They ask if he gets extra portions Rin refuses to answer They explain that they're asking because they need tomatoes for Pain's plan, and ask that Rin try to get them They give him a bag of holding, and ask him to fill it with tomatoes Rin agrees They comment that their plan was bad Rin assures him that he'll make it work They ask him to eat another huge sandwich later since that was cool, and leave Rin goes to the cafeteria, and asks to speak to Gyome He is taken back to the kitchen, where Gyome asks what's happening Rin explains that he was dared to fill a bag of holding with tomatoes, and eat as many as he could to test the limit of his stomach Gyome agrees, but only gets him 15 tomatoes He tells Rin that he thinks that that will be more than enough for the dare Rin takes offense, and begins to devour the tomatoes right there Rin is escorted from the kitchen Meanwhile, Carmilla and Zoey are eating lunch They are interrupted by Doya, who shows them a device that emits a bright light The device produces an image of three Doya explains that the device takes pictures of what it is pointed at, and that she saw it at No Refunds She takes pictures of herself with the other members of our group White asks about the price, explaining that he might be interested in one too Doya admits that it was 120 GP She goes to take a picture of herself with the Angels She then tries to take a picture of herself with Anji, but finds that the item is out of charges That afternoon, Rin is confronted by Angelique, who asks what he's doing She laments the fact that White left Rin alone in the club, and that Rin is now on his own Rin is fine with that, explaining that he can work on his own She questions that, warning that she cannot go easy on him, and that he is his own limiting factor Rin asks if she doubts him She assures him that he'll figure out the problems eventually, and that she was just stopping by to see how he was doing He tells her that he's used to working on his own She tells him that's sad He asks about her ties with the other angels She asks if he has best friends of his own He says no She tells him that's sad He asks her what she wants She reminds him that she's the club leader, and that she's needs to check up on people She warns him that things will be challenging without a friend to help She claims that he made a mistake on his work Rin assures her he didn't, and thanks for her keeping him on his toes

Meanwhile, White stares at a blank canvas in the art club He sees Cad painting away, a human girl named Nora struggling, and the Dean of Expression overseeing the club White talks to Dawn, and admits that he doesn't know what to draw Dawn asks what he's feeling White tells her that he's afraid of making a mistake Dawn tries to cheer him up by telling him there's no mistakes in art White is successfully cheered up, and begins to paint He mentions to Dawn that he's still uncertain of what to do for the talent show She tells him a story about painter who worked upside down White considers the idea, and likes it As the two finish, Dawn shows her painting - a white rose on a black canvas, surrounded by shadow White comments that he was not expecting that type of painting from Dawn Dawn explains that she was wanting to branch out White shows his painting - a desert as seen from above, with a sunset sky Dawn and the Dean of Expression like it! That weekend, Carmilla goes back to her old home She makes a meal, cleans up the place, and then goes to the Lux Concordia prison She dismisses her birds Nandor tells her that they'll be there whenever she needs them She approaches the front desk, and explains that she's here for visitations She is told that she'll need to make it quick since it is late in the day, and is pointed further into the building An officer asks who she wants to speak to She tells them that it's Ramon Sierraverde She is asked to wait in a rather noisy room She is then summoned to another room where she is told the rules of the visitation Finally, she is taken to another room, where she sees Ramon Sierraverde covered in restraints He asks her why she's here, and if she brought lunch She doesn't answer the first question, but offers the meal she prepared She explains that she cleaned the house, but isn't living there since she lives on campus at the Wyrm Academy He is surprised to hear that she made it into the academy, and asks who is watching the house She assures him that she is He asks if there is any news from the family She tells him that she has not kept in contact with them She offers him a photograph of the family He initially refuses it, but relents when she threatens to take it away He points to one of the family members, and explains that the person he's pointing to has taken over leadership of the family while their real leader is dealing with the fallout of the Blacklight Conspiracy He tells Carmilla that she can talk to him if she wants to make some extra money on the side The two say an awkward goodbye, and Ramon comments that she has gotten taller As Carmilla leaves the prison, Guillermo and Nandor return Nandor offers to cheer her up Carmilla agrees The next day, Zoey talks to Melwythorne about why he joined the academy He explains that heard stories of city life, and that it was like an ecosystem of its own The two discuss the pace of humans and their lifespans relative to his She asks what his grove is like He tells her he's from a temperate forest to the west He mentions that his life tree is planed near No Refunds, since he needs a piece of the forest nearby He comments that the Silkball team is like a second family to him Zoey is moved by that He asks about Mage Tower, mentioning that he heard it was a large game Zoey doesn't know about that, and suggests he talk to someone on that team about the game He then brings up Street Silkball, and wonders about that Zoey is more familiar with that, and offers to play it with him As the weekend draws to the close, the first-year students of Wyrm Academy prepare for their final exam of the year! Carmilla and Zoey study with Aurora Doya, Rin, and White also study together

As Doya returns to her dorm, she finds Pain waiting for her He tells her he has something to show her, and takers her to the top of the tower he showed her before He hands her a spyglass, and tells her to look at a building As she does so, she sees it explode on the inside and collapse! She asks how he did that He explains that his dad works in demolition, and that his dad was the one to do that He goes to say that demolition is new in the city, since normally buildings are built on top of each other, but the current elite do not want to be built on He offers to show her something else, and dangles something in front of the spyglass She sees notes about the upcoming test on the paper She tries to take it He holds it away from her, telling her she didn't need it He taunts her with it, and walks close to the edge He threatens to toss it, mentioning that it wasn't a big deal since she could fly Doya demands that he get back, explaining that she cares about his well-being Pain is surprised by the kindness, and offers the paper to her He mentions that he heard about what Angelika did, and offers to break into her room and plant evidence against her Doya rides the elevator down first, and sees Pain jump down instead of riding it down She activates her wings, and saves him! She calls him an idiot for being so reckless He tells her that he wanted to see her wings, and that he had a Feather Fall bracelet anyways Doya yells at him, and beats him up for being so stupid Pain laughs it off, and the two part ways The night passes, and with it the day of the exam arrives! Like before, the exam has a multiple-choice and free-written section Anji cheats off of Zoey again Angelique asks the teacher a question Rin attempts to subtle spell to cheat He is spotted, and the teacher approaches! Carmilla kicks Rin to alert him Doya breaks her pencil, and asks for another to get the professor's attention When the professor asks why she doesn't have another, Doya claims that she only had the one since it was her lucky pencil, and she couldn't ask the other students for another The exam draws to close, and the papers return to the front desk! The next day, as the Magical Auras class beings, Professor Sharpbeak speaks up She explains that she understands how stressful exam week can be, and offers to play a game to help distress She looks uncomfortably at White as she introduces the name of the game: Doppelgänger Disaster!

Wyrmhaven Guide

This blog is about a "Strixhaven" game - that title is in quotes because our lovely DM has added some many homebrew NPCs and events that we're approaching Strixhaven of Theseus territory here - if you add a bunch of new content to a DnD module, at what point is it even the same game? The point of this blog isn't to answer this question, it's to enjoy the ride and hopefully share that joy with others. There is a lot of NPCs that are not in the base module, so if you see a name you don't recognize from the base module, chances are they were homebrewed in.

THE SETTING This game takes place in a world known as Kharas, in a city-state called Lux Concordia. The Strixhaven Academy has been renamed to the Wyrm Academy to fit in with the DM's existing worldbuilding, and the headmaster has been replaced with a woman known as Archjusticar Yasha. Lux Concordia is a city of towers built upon several other iterations of itself, and is approaching industrial revolution levels of technology. The layout of the Academy itself is similar to the module, although it is now dominated by a central tower known as the Hexpiral Tower that holds most of the classrooms, and all of the Dragon House Demiplanes There are several other locations of note in this world:

Valtahost, a more technologically advanced empire and Lux Concordia's bitter enemy

The Orzkhov Union, a nation run by vampires

THE PLAYER CHARACTERS Carmilla - Our dhampir warlock/bard who claims to be a vampire despite only being a dhampir. Her patron is a enigmatic figure known as "All Ravens" who lives in the Shadowfell Doya - Our aasimar monk who is a bit over her head in this magic academy Rin - Our roadent (homebrew rat race) sorcerer who thought he was a wizard, but was actually imbued with magic by a tome that his adventurer brother gave him White - Our changeling wizard who doesn't know much of their own past. They are genderfluid, but will be referred to as he/him in the logs for the sake of consistency Zoey - Our bard/warlock with a knack for creating crimes against nature PLAYER FAMILIARS Guillermo - One of Carmilla's raven familiars, who works with different game mechanics than most familiars Nandor - The other one of Carmilla's raven familiars, who is technically a shape-shifted imp Ra - White's hairless cat familiar "La Creatura/The Creature in the Hat" - a strange creature that lives in Zoey's hat. We still don't know what it's deal is Sproing/Slash/Puff/so many others - Zoey's familiars. She goes through them quickly, as all her familiars are doomed to die despite her best efforts

A parody of the Heathers from the movie of the same name Angelika - An aasimar sorcerer, and the leader of the three Angels. Thinks she is queen of the school, and might as well be Angelique - An elven wizard, and the smart one of the Angels. Always has perfect grades Anjarika AKA Anji - A genasi warlock, and the pretty one of the Angels. Has a lot of suitors, but not a lot of thoughts

"Missing Peace" - A band of four girls whose music is similar to what we would call Punk Rock Asher - A tiefling bard who is the lead singer of Missing Peace that lives up the punk rock image Amalie - An aasimar bard who is the lutist of Missing Peace that seems surprisingly gentle considering her choice of music Larksann - A gnome artificer with a mechanical backpack who is the drummer of Missing Peace and is incredibly anxious. Occasionally a PC when one of our OOC friends wants to join in Mailu - An elven sorcerer with an affinity for pyrotechnics who is the bassist for Missing Peace

Chadriz - A Mage Tower player with a bone to pick with just about everyone. The resident bully Dawn - A kalashtar sorcerer, who is friends with multiple PCs and just about anyone else she talks to Dismay & Violence - A pair of goth tiefling twins would would rather not get caught up in all this drama Max - A human ranger who considers himself a superhero. Has a pet chicken who is his sidekick, which he calls Wonder Chicken Nicollin - A dhampir wizard who is Carmilla's friend, but also inexplicably friends with multiple other PCs despite being the most boring person alive Pain - A tiefling warlock, and the academy's resident bad boy "Sunny" - A halfling bard who comes from a family associated with organized crime, but would rather distance himself from it

Anji returns to the main part for the party, and shouts for the party to take a shot Chadriz spots Roman, and asks who he is When Roman introduces himself as a new student, Chadriz offers to properly initiate him, and tries to shove him into the pool Roman uses the moment to jump across the pool, and declines the initiation Chadriz begins to approach Roman, and shoves Max in the pool as he does so He is stopped when Angelika shouts that they are doing beer pong Roman goes to check it out, and helps Max out of the pool as he goes He is challenged by the Angels to go against them in beer pong He tries to recruit Pain on his team Pain refuses, stating that he's leaving Anji asks for a goodbye kiss Pain refuses Roman recruits Rin and Quentillius Antiphiun Melentor III to his team Rin recruits Ethel to the team The four of them go against A2Z in beer pong, and win! Quentillius assures his team he was a natural fit for the role Zoey realizes that she's had to much to drink, and goes to the bathroom to throw up Angelique goes to try to help that situation Carmilla and White discuss going to collect Zoey, but decide against it when they see Angelique Vladimir calls Rin out for inviting Ethel to beer pong Rin counters that she was drinking anyways, and asks Vladimir to lighten up Rin introduces himself to Roman

Roman reveals that he is actually Doya Angelika goes to check up on Zoey, and tells her that she can rejoin the party when she feels like it Zoey exits the bathroom, and collapses on a couch Rin approaches Anjarika, and offers her his gift She tells him that she'll open gifts later He explains that his gift is edible, so he wanted to make sure she got it before someone else tried to take it She unwraps it, and finds that is some pastries from the Foreign District! She thanks him, and resumes dancing Meanwhile, White begins to enact his plan to get Carmilla a chance to talk to Zoey and then get her out of the party He asks Nicollin to talk to Angelique and Grayson He then approaches Dismay and Violence, and ask that they get Angelika to the kitchen He tells them to act like needy guests and to have fun with it He then asks Roman to go distract Anjarika He gladly does so, and tries and fails to have a conversation with her Once all three Angels are distracted, he approaches Zoey on the couch He explains to her that Carmilla only went to the party to be with her, and suggests that she go home with Carmilla to reciprocate the gesture Zoey is overwhelmed White tells Carmilla that he did what he could Zoey approaches Carmilla, and says goodbye She kisses Carmilla on the cheek, and goes back to the party Carmilla and White begin to leave

They tell Aurora that they are heading out, before slipping away while everyone else is distracted They are offered gift bags containing chocolates and a picture of Anji as they leave On the elevator ride down, White comments that things did not go as planned since Zoey did not come with them Carmilla expresses her fears about how Angelika knew about her family, and wonders why Angelique was offering her blood White suggests that it was for blackmail Carmilla admits she had fun despite the Angel's influence, but hated how noisy it was She confesses to White that she isn't a real vampire White tells her that he didn't believe she was a vampire even with all of her explanations, but let is slide since it meant so much to her Meanwhile, Roman approaches Anji, and offers to take the gift back to the dorms for her Anji declines, explaining that she was going to keep the gifts here since it was her place Roman explains that the gift was a cotton candy machine, and asks to retrieve the weights from the box As the night winds to an end, so does the party The next day passes, and the following week of school begins The first-year students begin to recognize Rin and greet him in the halls Zoey works on a secret project Doya receives a note that asks her to meet someone in a bathroom, and ends with a heart Doya assumes it is from Anji, and goes to meet her She finds that Anji is in the bathroom… along with the other two Angels, Cad, and Chadriz Angelika casts Hold Person on Doya Chadirz and Cad tie her up, taking the opportunity to land a sucker punch as they do so Anjarika admires her reflection as Angelika begins to talk to her She tells Doya that she fooled the Angels, and that she was impressed by her audacity Doya asks what she wants

Angelika explains that there might be hope for Doya as a cool kid yet She adds that she still thinks that Doya is an obsessesed loser creep, and that Doya's too cringe to be near the Angels, but Doya paved the way to a better relationship with them She tells Doya that Doya's seen the best and worst they have to offer, and asks that Doya keep that in mid when interacting with them Doya wonders if Angelika is hitting on her She tells her that that the Angels had their chance to befriend her and lost it, and that she will not be cowed by them Angelika warns that Doya has one more chance, and to not get under her skin again She tells Doya that she's like bubblegum; Doya's not chewed up and flavourless yet, so she won't spit up Doya just yet Doya counters that the school will decide who's cooler, but offers to let bygones by bygones Angelika takes out a marker, and writes something on Doya's forehead She tells Doya that she wrote Doya's new name She cautions that Doya won't get anywhere without her She adds that the toilet has been overflowing lately, before leaving with the rest of the students Doya frees herself from the ropes as the toilet begins to overflow She sees the word ZERO written on her forehead Carmilla goes to talk to Sunny She tells him that she's going to visit someone in prison, and asks if he wants her to deliver any messages Sunny refuses, and cautions her against getting involved with his relationship with is family He tells her that she doesn't have to visit her family in prison if she doesn't want As the week progresses, signs of how the students relationships with eachother being to appear Rin is approached by Ethel, who asks him how he is and if he's seen Vladimir Rin admits that he hasn't seen Vladimir at all Ethel also hasn't seen him, and claims to not be worried about him despite visibly being so Rin looks around, and cannot find Vladimir He asks Germaine in the Biblioplex, who hasn't seen him recently either That night, he hears running water in his dorm's bathroom He turns on the light, enters the bathroom, and finds a fully clothed Vladimir in the bathtub Vladimir yells at him to turn off the lights

Rin closes the bathroom door behind him, and asks what Vladimir is doing Vladimir tells him that he won't understand, and that it deals with sorcery He explains that he's the only member of his family without sorcery, and how much he feels left out because of it Rin tells Vladimir that he gets it, and that he felt like his hard work didn't matter once he learned his magic was sorcery He explains that it was demotivating to hear he was doing things wrong Vladimir admits that maybe Rin does understand Rin realizes that Vladimir was trying to drown himself to meet the Shadow Hound, and demands that he get out of the tub Vladimir wonders how Rin figured it out, and curses Rin's brother for talking about his powers so much Vladimir explains that his uncle was also born without shadow powers, and that he was able to drown himself to gain them He adds that he was trying to do the same to fix his own powers Rin and Vladimir discuss the Shadow Hound, and wonder what its motivations are They discuss the negative side-effects of shadow magic Rin ask that Vladimir don't let those negative effects happen to him He wonders why Vladimir wants those powers anyways Vladimir asks if Rin has been to the Shadowfell Rin tells him that he has, and that it was miserable Vladimir admits that he wanted powers de to pressure from his family Rin assures Vladimir that he's better than that, and to not give into the pressure He tells Vladimir that Ethel was worried about him Vladimir offers to go to the tavern with Rin Rin agrees, and mentions that Germaine was asking about an overdue library book The two discuss the Biblioplex's book return policies as they head towards the tavern The same week, Carmilla mopes in her coffin Her moping is interrupted when Aurora starts throwing things at her coffin When Carmilla emerges, Aurora asks about her blood feeding habits She asks about Zoey, and specifically if Carmilla drank from her Aurora explains that she wants to know what the blood of other races taste like, and adds that she's trying to prove a theory Carmilla warns that drinking blood is illegal Aurora offers to pay for their silence and their participation The two discuss who to ask

Aurora suggests Carmilla talk to people she knows, except Doya and Rin Carmilla goes to talk to Pain, and finds him smoking on campus She asks for his help in a project in exchange for money He agrees, and the two go to Carmilla's dorm She sends Pain in, who exits a few minutes later Aurora approaches her, and scolds her for chosing Pain right away She does tell her that his blood was spicy though Next, Carmilla approaches White She tells him that she needs his help with a science experiment White agrees, and the two go to Carmilla's dorm She sends White in to a waiting Aurora He asks what the experiment She explains that she wants to see how different types of blood interact with hemomancy, and she wants a sample of changeling blood White figures out what's happening when she asks to extract it with her fangs He agrees, but for more gold than she was offering She relents, and agrees After she drinks from him, she goes to talk to Carmilla She tells him that White had a weird flavour that she could not describe The two talk about what blood she has tried in the past Aurora scolds Carmilla for getting her such difficult people to work with Carmilla counters that Aurora told her to get people she was familiar with The two go to brood in the tavern That weekend, Zoey goes to Carmilla's dorm She is greeted by Aurora, who tells her that she knows where Carmilla is, but doesn't say were She lets Zoey into the dorm, closes the door, and tells Carmilla that she dealt with Zoey Zoey knocks on the coffin as Aurora goes to watch what happens Carmilla freaks out when she realizes who it is Zoey apologizes for her behavior at the party, explaining that she felt like she couldn't pick favorites at the party Zoey struggles to ask something, before giving up and showing Carmilla a bouquet of odd roses and asking her out on a date! Carmilla agrees, and offers her the chimera plush The two trade gifts

Carmilla ask that Aurora go get Zoey some snacks As she does so, Carmilla invites Zoey into her coffin Carmilla explains the situation with the Angels Zoey agrees that their behavior was weird, and assures Carmilla she had no part in that Carmilla admits that she's not really a vampire, and that she was raised by the mafia Zoey tells her that she doesn't care about, and just likes Carmilla for who she is now Carmilla claims that she used vampiric charms to make Zoey like her, so that she could get Zoey's blood Zoey admits that she had feelings for Carmilla way before the blood thing She assures that she likes Carmilla no matter how weird she is Carmilla counters that Zoey is weird in a likeable way, and that Chadriz is the only person who might not like her Zoey agrees, and curses as she does so Zoey apologizes, and explains that she normally curses a lot but doesn't want to break the school rules Carmilla points out that it isn't a rule, and asks who told her that Zoey admits that her mom told her that The roses begin to move As Zoey goes to grab them, Sproing pops out of them

Zoey wonders how he got there, before turning her attention to the roses She explains that she modified half of them to instantly regenerate petals for theatre uses, the other half to look like ravens feathers, and all of them to tolerate the dark Aurora returns, and asks what Sproing is doing The two turn to see Sproing investigate an open window, before jumping out! Carmilla tries to save it with Guillermo, but fails Zoey rushes out, and finds Sproing's splattered remains Carmilla tries to comfort Zoey as she begins to mourn The following week, our group is summoned by Pain to Vladimir's dorm Rin makes Carmilla and Zoey swear to not mention the television before letting them in They enter, and find Vladimir and The Freaks in the room Pain asks our group what they have planned for the Talent Show He tells them that it doesn't matter, since the Angels will win anyways He offers an alternative: If they can't win, they can at least make the Angels lose He explains that he plans to go last, and will sing the worst, least PG song possible His goal is to be so awful that the memory of his song will override the memory of the Angel's performance He wants our group help plant bags of tomatoes in the audience, and to rile them up when the time comes He asks if they are in Everyone except Zoey agrees

OUR VIEW GOES BACK TO THE PREVIOUS DAY, NOW WITH THE FUNDING TO DO SOME PREVIOUSLY SKIPPED SCENES Our group go clothes shopping for Anji's party Carmilla and Zoey pick each others outfits White gets some new kicks Rin doesn't know what to get, explaining that he's never got his own clothes before Carmilla, Doya, and Zoey discuss what he should wear White warns that Rin should be the one to choose his outfit After being offer a variety of clothes, Rin chooses his outfit That evening, Doya speaks to Quentillius Antiphiun Melentor III She asks him to bring his makeup supplies, along with a change of clothes She bribes him with cookies He agrees, refusing to turn down the part He asks Doya to tell Carmilla that his gloves are missing Meanwhile, White finds Dawn looking at the night sky He asks what she's doing, and she explains that she's stargazing Sher asks what White's doing out so late White explains that he's thinking about the talent show, since he doesn't think he has any unique talents to show Dawn wonders if he has any hidden talents White explains that he doesn't really have those She asks about his clubs and other hobbies He points out that the skills tied to his clubs are far from unique She asks what he did when he was little He admits to not having much memories from his childhood She suggests that he try to learn new talents then He isn't sure what he should try, and asks what she likes to do

She mentions that she likes painting, since it lets her get ideas out of her head She also shows off her telepathy, although his Ring of Mind Shielding interrupts that She asks about his magic, and explains her own paint-based magic He explains that he can manipulate time, and that while it's not normally allowed, he was given an exception He adds that his magic might be tied to his lack of memories She suggests showing that off, starting with darts and working down towards tomatoes as he expresses concerns about safety He realizes that Dawn is a Kazatan, a humanoid touched by the Astal Plane The two say goodnight and part ways THE FLASHBACK SEQUENCE ENDS, AND OUR VIEW RETURNS TO WHERE LAST EPISODE LEFT OFF Zoey wakes up in Anji's apartment next to a sleeping Anji As she quietly gets up, she sees Angelique reading a book Angelique points her towards the kitchen, and mentions that Angelika is somewhere else in the apartment Zoey makes herself breakfast, and being to wander around the apartment She ends up in a huge living room, featuring a large painting Anji, her father, and a crowd of other people Angelika speaks up from the other side of the room, greeting Zoey As Zoey goes to sit near her, Angelika explains that the crowd is Anji's dad's harem She adds that this apartment is shared amongst them, but currently none of them are there Angelique and Anji join the two, and Zoey wishes Anji a happy birthday Anji explains that it's not really her birthday, but that she has a "birthday party" every 3 months as an excuse to celebrate The Angels ask Zoey about the the talent show Zoey admits that she might already have plans The Angels tell her that they had plans to do four songs, one for each of them, and want her to join them They pressure her to force the question to the Losers about if they're doing something Angelika takes Zoey to look over the balcony at the city of Lux Concordia, and mentions how the people below look like ants She explains how ants do well under a queen, and that Wyrm Academy does well under a woman's leadership Zoey misses the implications entirely, but agrees with Angelika's words They reunite with the other two in Anji's bedroom, where the Angels ask Zoey to join them Zoey isn't sure what they want from her, but agrees (excluding the Talent Show) They give her a friendship bracelet with A2Z on it, explaining that it's their initials Zoey happily accepts

They mention how lucky they were that a human girl whose names starts with Z showed up on school They show Zoey one last thing - a book containing the secrets about everyone in school! They explain that is a magic item called te Book of Eternal Secrets, and that it contained all the secrets they had gathered They tell Zoey that she cannot see it now, but maybe later, and ask that she keep it secret Zoey agrees The Angels set out to do her makeup, and warn her that she needs to prepare to change some The day passes, and the invited students of Wyrm Academy prepare for the party! Carmilla asks Aurora about the party Aurora informs her that she was invited as well Aurora asks what the situation is between Carmilla and Zoey Carmilla doesn't know Aurora warns Carmilla not to give Zoey the chimera plush at the party, since the Angels will hate it She asks if Carmilla is going in with Doya Cermilla denies that, mentioning that she didn't know how Doya would even get it Aurora suggests that Carmilla gets some food to eat before the party, just in case Carmilla realizes that she can send Nandor to get food while invisible, and has him do so Meanwhile, Rin and Vladimir get ready Vladimir meantions that the Angels invited Ehtel, but did so threateningly Rin mentions going with Doya, and the two wonder what's going to happen Rin goes to Carmilla's dorm, and asks if she is going with Doya too Aurora refuses Carmilla suggests that it'll be funny Aurora agrees to go in a little ahead of them so she can watch what happens Meanwhile, Doya asks Greta if she's going Greta claims to be going weight lifting, but eventually admits that she's going to the party too Doya asks to borrow some of her weights, and puts them in the larger box she got along with the smaller box As she lugs the box out of the room, she is met by Carmilla and Rin Doya explains the box is her gift to Anji The rest of the group wonder how she's going to get it all the way to Anji's place Meanwhile, Urzmaktosh asks White why he left the mathematics club White explains that he left it to join the art club to branch out his skills He asks Urzmaktosh if he's going to the party

Urzmaktosh admits he is not, but is willing to if White is He mentions that networking would be good, but drunk teenagers are not Urzmaktosh and White meet up with the other group, and go to get Zoey They don't find Zoey, but do find all of Missing Peace in her dorm Larksann mentions that she saw Zoey leaving with the Angels The group begins their journey towards Anji's apartment Rin tries to call a skycoach Ethel suggests they don't, and just let Doya lug the gift the entire way there Carmilla asks Vladimir about his painting from the History of Magic and Art class Vladimir tells her that it was a painting of his family house back in the Orzkoz union Ethel calls it gay Carmilla asks if they're siblings Ethel and Vladimir both refuse that, telling her that they're cousins The group divvy out the alcohol, with Urzmaktosh taking the portion that Zoey was supposed to have They finally reach the apartment building, and travel to the top They reach Anji's apartment, and find two large human men guarding the door They let everyone by Doya in, telling her that she's not on the list Doya explains that she needs to show Anji the gift The man at the door refuses She adds that she might be added once Anji sees the size of the gift The man takes the gift inside, and returns without it He explains that Anji liked the size of it, but still does not let Doya it Doya asks Rin to get Quentillius, and waits outside The rest of the group enters, and finds an incredibly busy party with most of the first year students Grayson approaches and greets them He tells them that Zoey is with the Angels Rin starts to ask him to go meet Doya, and then realizes he's not Quentillius He tells Grayson that all humans look the same to him, and goes to find the real Quentillius He finds Quentillius, and relays Doya's message Quentillius gets up, and finds Doya outside She takes him down the elevator, and explains that she needs to give her a makeover He does so, and goes back up the elevator to return to the party

Meanwhile, Carmilla has anxiety and sticks near Aurora White pretends to have a drink, but it's really just grape juice A2Z join the party properly, with the Angels in glamourweave outfits and Zoey in the one she bought the day before Anji announces that it's not really her birthday, but to enjoy the party anyways Another student arrives at the front door, and tells the man at the door that he isn't on the list, but wants to speak to the birthday girl The man gets Anji, who asks who the student is The student introduces himself as Roman Rodregez, a transfer student from Lorston Roman explains that he wanted to introduce himself, and flatters Anji Anji agrees, and lets him into the party Rin jumps into the pool, and makes a splash literally and socially Chadriz is not as imppressed Carmilla, White, and Zoey go to the side of the balcony, where they see several students smoking some kind of weed Roman approaches the three, and tells them that "he"'s really Doya! Roman leaves to go socialize with the Angels Carmilla asks Zoey to dance, and they do so White goes to hang out with Dismay and Violence The two wonder where Pain is Rin plays pool games with Greta and Prism He also meets a dragonborn maked Jooli Zoey goes to speak to Dismay and Violence She wonders why the Angels bothered with having invitations be prizes for the Manor mission if everyone was invited anyways The twins mention they were invited after that, and likely in retaliation of Doya's actions Zoey also checks up on Drazhomir Quentillius checks up on Roman, and the two hang out The Angels grab Zoey, and take her to dance floor Anji wonders who brought the big present, and where Pain is Angelique sneaks away with Grayson Meanwhile, Rosimy asks if anyone at the pool is hungry Rin is hungry, and goes with her The two find flame sprites taking orders and making food They realize the potential, and start asking for massive quantities of sandwiches Rampart sees that, and joins in

Grayson approaches White, and asks about him leaving the math club White explains that he wanted to try new things Meanwhile, Angelique approaches Carmilla, and asks how she's enjoying the party She comments that Carmilla hasn't drank anything She takes Carmilla past a distracted Zoey to the kitchen, and is briefly baffled by all the sandwiches She admits that she understands Carmilla's discomfort with all the people She offers to get Carmilla some blood if alcohol isn't her speed Carmilla politely refuses Angelique offers to let Carmilla have a side room to be alone in Carmilla politely refuses Angelique asks Carmilla to deliver a drink to Grayson Carmilla agrees, and uses the opportunity to escape the situation Meanwhile, Anji announces that she's playing 7 Heavens (the Kharkinos quilavent of 7 minutes in Heaven) in her room Roman goes there, and finds several students already there Anji enters, dragging Pain along The first spin pairs Anji and Zanther The second spin pairs Roman with Dina When they enter the closet, Roman tries to stall, but Dina goes in for the kiss Roman pretends that didn't happen as they exit Meanwhile, Angeilque critiques White for leaving the math club Carmilla tries to talk to Zoey, but they get interrupted by Angelika Angelika asks Carmilla about her birds She then presses Carmilla about her parents Zoey realizes something's wrong with the conversation, and takes Angelika away from Carmilla Carmilla goes to White, and tells him that she's afraid and wants to leave She explains that the Angels are trying to scare her, and it's working She asks that White help her leave, and also have one last chat with Zoey before she leaves White agrees

Meanwhile, more spins have happened with 7 Heavans, and Roman and Zanther are paired together As they enter the closet, both agree they don't want anything to happen The two talk about sports and then leave Another spin pairs Anji and Roman together As they enter, Anji asks if Roman got the big gift Roman denies it, says that he didn't get a gift, but is willing to do whatever she wants He regrets his words as Anji goes in for the kiss As she does so, Roman's halo pops up and angelic wings appear, revealing that "Roman" was actually Doya! Anji points out that Doya was not invited, but is ok with her being there Doya admits that the gift is hers Anji is fine with Doya/Roman staying, but warns that Angelika will be upset if she finds out
