GUYS WE MIGHT HAVE HOPE FOR EXTRA SCENES OF KAI IN THE NEXT SEASON!!!!!!!

I keep seeing videos on TikTok talking about how Horikoshi said that he’s adding extra scenes in the anime that weren’t in the manga, IM TELLING YOU ITS GOTTA BE ORPHANAGE SCENES!! In the anime, it was barely implied that Kai was associated with AFO, only the comment from Tomura that AFO showed him a picture of Kai indicated that. We were supposed to have that comment, the orphanage scene that was later revealed to be owned by AFO through Dabi’s backstory, and the similarities between Kai and Tomura to connect the dots that Decay was created from Overhaul. We’re supposed to find out that Kai and Eri are two side of the same coin. One experimented on and healed with heroes, the other experimented on and “healed” with criminals.

I’m reposting this bc it got one note in 5 hours.

This might be as much as I work on this wip, so lemme give you the backstory!

So this is him in prison, probably a couple years after the war. Pops died of a mix of his injuries and his age, so Kai picks up some bad habits that he of all people knows kill you. And the prosthetics were a gift from non other than #1 Hero Lemillion, to which Kai ripped apart and rebuilt to withstand fights against inmates, otherwise the prosthetics were designed for normal day to day use.

His abs are showing because

The scars on his arms aren’t from his injury, but the surgery he went through to get his prosthetic put on and removed. He got into a fight that resulted in a death, they were taken as a punishment, and later returned after it was proven he was acting in self defense.

Yes😔

They have far too many parallels — and similar ambitions with similar attempted executions. In other words, their goals were planned with almost identical thought processes.

And they look similar.

And both of their quirk activations are located in their hands.

And Kai was raised in Afo’s orphanage where he was experimented on by the people who were supposed to be his parental figures, which is where he learned how he should parent the small child in his care.
