You know we only ever really "learn" how to bathe in our youth as it is taught to us by our parents and from then on most people kinda just bathe the same way right. And like barring actively deciding to do it the only way most people change their bathing habits is if they bathe with a loved one and get convinced to do somethi g different in the bath bc its cleaner/faster/whatever bc of them. What is something (good, bad, funny or all 3) that has happened to you years ago that you still think about now

ive told this story before, but 3 or so years ago i went to a steakhouse with my ex in a very revealing top, i didnt know thats where we were going. it was a crop top that had butterfly clasps down the front. if yall arent aware im a big girl so my tits are massive lol anyway we were sitting at the bar and an old lady came up to us as she was leaving and slid a napkin towards me and said “this is for you” and walked away. i opened it and it said “word of the day: SLATTERN” we were confused and so i googled it. its a centuries old word for a whore/prostitute and i burst into tears. like full sobbing at the bar. i couldnt stop crying at how mean it was when we never interacted with her! the bartender came over and saw the napkin and threw it away and the general manager came over and comped my meal with free dessert without asking. they 86’d her and said they had been looking for a reason and they got it. i went upstairs to use the bathroom and the hostesses went over and wanted me to know how beautiful i looked that night. everyone knew and made sure i felt okay, so genuinely the best customer service ever lol its honestly funny now, its a story i like to tell and my best friend will jokingly call me that. but at the time i was already kinda insecure and it was one of the worst nights. a group of teachers behind us caught wind and they asked what the napkin said and when we told them they were like…. wtf does that mean. i always say she chose a 17th century word cause she knew id have to google it and she could make her escape! so its bad and good. always gets a laugh and i felt childish but it made me realize how genuinely mean people can be. i hadnt gotten that in my adult life so far. i was like 23! and she was at least 60s if not 70s.l

also that time my house got broken into while i was home 4 years ago it was just the anniversary and was a very difficult day for me. one of my worst fears came true so its definitely changed how i live my life. its not just anxiety anymore it is truth. but the slattern story is all 3 ahahaha
