FIELD NOTES - EARTH OBSERVATION LOG #1
Date: Sol 3.2025.185 Observer: Zyx-9 (Xenoanthropology Division) Location: Continent-06-E-Urban-ATO-adjacent Weather Conditions: Mild Human Population Density: Moderate (approx. 25 specimens observed) Threat Level: Green - Uneventful
ROUTINE: EXTREMELY INCONSISTENT Pre-Observation Status:
Research Question: What is the daily routine for the average Human? Expected Outcome: Strict and productive routine, beginning at 0600 hours and ending at 2000 hours. Preparation: None
Detailed Behavioral Analysis: Phase 1: 0600-1200
Human routine varied based on settlement occupation. Awakening times ranged greatly and were heavily inconsistent over each day. Consistent times were mostly seen from 0830 to 0900. Multiple specimen observed sitting on the edge of their sleep facilitation structure for 25 minutes to an hour in silence.
Phase 2: 1630-1800
Majority of specimens observed exiting occupational facilities at 1700. Specimen energy irregularly drained over time, estimations may be incorrect. Specimens observed consuming increasing amounts of brown liquid in order to maintain energy. Will further investigate.
Recommended Further Research:
Brown liquid effects and composition, possible alternatives. Specimen Classification Updates:
Cooperation Level: Unclear Awareness of Observation: None Ritual Completion Rate: 92%
Dr. Zyx-9 is currently stationed in "Springfield" conducting long-term behavioral studies under Research Grant #342-A. Current research focuses on Human Behavioral Patterns. Peer Review Status: Pending review by the Galactic Anthropology Council Ethics Approval: Cleared by Committee for Non-Invasive Species Study

REFERENCE GUIDE FOR FIELD REPORTS
HOW I REFERENCE EARTH LOCATIONS
To avoid confusion, I've been instructed to share our standard classification system:
CONTINENTS (By Alphabetical Order):
Continent-01: Africa
Continent-02: Antarctica
Continent-03: Asia
Continent-04: Australia/Oceania
Continent-05: Europe
Continent-06: North America
Continent-07: South America
MAJOR WATER BODIES (Acronym System):
ATO = Atlantic Ocean
PAO = Pacific Ocean
IND = Indian Ocean
MED = Mediterranean Sea
CAR = Caribbean Sea
GRL = Great Lakes Region
[And so forth...]
REGIONAL CODES:
N/S/E/W = Cardinal directions
NE/NW/SE/SW = Intermediate directions
C = Central regions
SETTLEMENT TYPES:
Urban = High-density human clusters
Rural = Low-density human settlements
Coastal = Adjacent to water bodies
Mountain/Desert/Forest = Terrain descriptors
EXAMPLE USAGE:
"Location: Continent-06-NE-Urban-ATO-adjacent" = Somewhere like New York City
"Location: Continent-03-E-Coastal-PAO-proximity" = Eastern Asian coast
This system allows for precise documentation while maintaining our research protocols. Your human place names are... charmingly inconsistent.
Questions about my classification system are welcome. I am still learning your chaotic naming conventions.

"Intro" Post
NEW RESEARCH DIRECTIVE: Digital Human Behavior Study
Greetings, beings of the digital realm.
I am Dr. Zyx-9, Xenoanthropology Division, currently stationed on the third planet of the Sol system for extended field research.
Head Researcher Qel-7 has instructed me to begin documenting my observations on this human communication platform called "Tumblr" as part of a new study on Digital Social Interaction Patterns Among Earth Inhabitants.
The research council believes that by participating in human online communities, we can gain deeper insights into their:
Pack behavior dynamics
Information sharing rituals
Humor distribution mechanisms
Collective decision-making processes
I will be sharing my ongoing field notes, behavioral observations, and cultural analysis as I attempt to understand your fascinating species.
Please note: I am here purely for scientific observation. I mean no harm and find your species remarkably entertaining.
Looking forward to studying-- I mean, interacting with you all.
-Dr. Zyx-9, Xenoanthropology Division
