The Platypus.

Monday. There is no escape. It is the January of days of the week, and quite frankly, we've had enough of its nonsense. Had it up to *here*, in fact. So for that reason, whether it is school, college, university, work, or indeed not work that you are facing this morning, we bring light amid its darkness and drudgery. Please find, for you, a commemoration dedicated to perhaps the most curious of mammals: the #platypus. It is an animal simply so strange it makes one wonder why we are so keen to find new life on other planets, when that which we have here on Planet E is just so absurd. It is also so irresistible, so silly, and so very squishy, that we simply cannot get enough of their endless charms.

Little Lentil

There's a lentil growing.

The growth is exceptional.

The lentil grew into a blueberry.

The blueberry grew into a bean.

The bean grew into a grape.

The grape grew into a kumquat.

The kumquat grew into a a fig.

The fig grew into a lime.

The lime grew into a peapod...

The first part is over, there's two more to go.

I watched this for the first time yesterday and I'm sorry to say that I didn't understand it. I read online that the meaning for the film was about child abuse. So, I obviously didn't get the message. It was good but it didn't scare me in any way.

Also, I watch scary films in the daytime for that exact reason.
