hey, i wanted to show the evolution of one of my first ocs, the one that ive been using as my online persona and yeah the changes are drastic :)

Down there each version separately 👇 (along with a bit of talking about them)

when i first made this character i was a little kid obsessed with fairy tail and she was supposed to be some cool mage, but i was terrible at the character development so it went nowhere

then her appearance was changed to be on the cuter side and i added horns and a tail because at that time i thought demon ocs were the peak idea. and she has some dramatic backstory that i cant remember

now here i wanted her (or at this point them) to be a demon pretending to live a regular life as a student at some school. if you cant see clearly, their right eye is completely gone at this point. why? no thoughts ever went into that, im sorry

and this one is my most favorite. they are 100% customisable and every time i draw them theres a different hairstyle and clothes and the eyepatch is funky. i wanted chaotic bright colors, things that wont match, because they are supposed to my gremlin self, the one thats giggling at 3 am and jumping around the room after seeing their hyperfixation. and sharp teeth - theyre just fun

I didn't expect to like the 2015 miku so much, but i have to admit that she looks really nice. And the microphone being a little twig? Absolutely adorable

This 2014 miku honestly doesn't have much winter vibes in my opinion, she looks more like halloween all year round. though i do like her hat

Now this is my most favorite snow miku ever. You can't convince me otherwise, 2013 version looks absolutely stunning

yeah i didnt give up after the first one (shocking, i know). i actually like the 2012 snow miku, she looks cute and definitely gives off winter vibes. and though she's not my personal favorite, she's still fun
