Yanno, Lonestar was so good under many aspects, but i gotta say they went all in with Carlos imo. They didn't walk around the gay plot like many series do, like talking about self discovery, family acceptance, learning through struggles. Carlos' family knew he was gay, they didn't love him any less for that, but i wonder just how many people like him thinks that just because its not talked about, they are as invisible as it gets. Sometimes is easier not to talk about things, to sweep our problems under a rug and forget about it until we trip on the bumbs, but please, never let the people you love forget that you do, no matter what rough patch, inconvenience, you're working through.

And for all of you that know that the bumps under the carpet won't get picked up anytime soon, just know that there are people out there that will love you just for the way you are.
