Walburga had bad PTSD haunted by the thoughts of what she did to her sons, hurting them because-well because-She doesn't know.

She never knew why she started hurting them she just did, ever since that first day that she slapped Sirius when he was a child it's haunted her. The one person she was supposed to protect from the world that trusted her entirely now only seen her as a mean horrible woman.

She couldn't live with the guilt it ate away at her heart every waking moment she spent would be anguish wishing she could go back and fix everything.

Why must it be this way she would cry to herself why must she be exactly like her parents.

Hear me out. What about. Sirius who had to parent Reg as a child, hence being stripped of his own childhood innocence, and he can't help but long to be taken care of. Regulus who wants to repay for the care Sirius had given him as a child. What about that.
