friendly reminder that:

- people of colour are welcome in EVERY subculture (e.g. light academia, cottagecore,  dark academia, scenecore)

- Telling a person of colour that what their wearing isn’t “historically accurate to them” is an act of racism. (e.g. 19th century dresses and suits, 50s pin-up clothes)

- being bullied for the subculture you CHOSE to identify with is not anywhere close to racism (or any form of bigotry, for that matter).

- Let people do what they please, for gods sakes!
