I believe in Macaque yearning supremacy, admiring someone and looking up to them, just to be "killed" by them, oh the angst potential 😈🙏🏻

(I say "killed" bc we don't know whether it's actually Wukong who killed him, Macaque definitely believes it's Wukong, who killed him but it's never been confirmed yet)

And I like to believe that Wukong probably didn't realize that Macaque died, probably hurt him to stop him but not outright killed him like how he killed Macaque in JTTW)
