Design Interaction - Village Strategic Plan

Introduction
The perception of countryside we perceive is beauty and attractive, however, the conflict is the decreasing numbers of population in rural area. Therefore, the number of population in urban area increases and the main reason that draw people into the city is the earning where they earn about 21% more.
However, while the urban population is 59.3% of population in china, the rural population is 40.7% plus the speculate of the overbuilt ghost cities which shown that there is no demand living in the cities.
Therefore, there are the potential that people tend to live in countryside which are spending time with family, help family in farming and start a business in rural area. This project is to higher the quality if life in rural area by promoting the existing condition within countryside.

Feed Back: An Experimental Platform

The program and process of the pavilion could be adopted in various scales for both the consumers and producers.
At an urban scale (consumer) the aim is to promote urban farming and vertical cultivation so the growing chamber design is adopted to encourage farming at a household scale. For the rural scale (producer) the idea of a self-sustainable component is adopted, promoting the integration of a free-range chicken farm and technology to provide a sustainable farming system.
Moreover, as a festival to promote modification in food, this pavilion also serves as an experimental platform to explore on the possibilities of how plants could be genetically modified to be suitable to the Aeroponics growing method. To promote a three dimensional infrastructure for food production.

The bi-product of this experiment is very important, since what ever species of plants have evolved and survived in this new landscape; it opens a new possibility to the future of food sustainability.
