Is Max B really a legend? What can you tell the people about Max B

To me Max is a legend. He was ahead of his time. He was the only artist who was singing on everything and sounded cool to me, his love songs, everything. Him singing about street shit was smooth and he was entertaining. He was just wavy.

Who is Max B?

Biggaveli, Boss Don, The Silver Surfer, Wavy Crockett, The Wavy One, The Million Dollar Baby

Biggaveli, = B-Biggie Smalls, Igga- Jigga which is Jay Z and Makaveli - 2 Pac. Those Max B’s favorite rappers.

Max got on through Cam’ron who then introduced him to Jim Jones and then Max signed with Jim’s record label, Byrd Gang in 2006. 

Max was one of the writers for “We Fly High” which was Jim Jones biggest record and one of the biggest records in 2006.

Max B along with Stack Bundles elevated Jim Jones as a rapper, Max wrote the chorus, Stack Bundles wrote the verses for Jim Jones and they helped him with his flow, his delivery.

Jimmy went from fucking up every song on Diplomatic Immunity to having a run at the top of the game for a little while. We Fly High peaked at #5 on the Bill Boards hot 100. (for all genres, not just rap.)

Max left BYRD GANG in 2008 because of his contract. He said he was forced into signing a contract that offered inadequate pay and gave him no credit for his contribution like writing hooks, verses and melodies for Jim Jones. 

Max said Jimmy was giving him $300 per show when Jim was getting $10-15k to perform Ballin. 

Basically he was making no money which put him in a position where he felt he had to turn to crime. He was arrested and then sold his publishing rights to We Fly High to get money to post bail. His Bail was $1 Million. 

Max B’s influence on todays Music

Anybody calling themselves Wavy…. That’s all Max B. They probably don’t know that, but thats all Max B. He was using Wavy as an adjective for himself first. 

Max B the reason why French Montana got a career, French leeched on Max B and rode the wave to help get him to where he is at now. That’s his mans though, but ya wouldn’t know French Montana if it wasn’t for him soaking up the wave from Max and riding the momentum. 

Wiz Khalifa is majorly inspired by Max and I see some of Max in Wiz’s work, the way he harmonizes and shit. 

Where is he now

Max is currently incarcerated for his role in planning the armed robbery and kidnapping that led to the murder of David Taylor

conspiracy charges pertaining to armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault and led to the murder of David Taylor.

According to authorities, Max sent his ex-girlfriend, Gina Conway, and his stepbrother Kelvin Leerdam, in 2006 to rob two men in a Holiday Inn, in Fort Lee, Northern New Jersey. In September 22, 2006, Conway and Leerdam ambushed Allan “Jay” Plowden in room 408 and restrained him with duct tape, while awaiting Plowden’s partner, David Taylor. Also in the room was Gissele Nieven. When Taylor arrived, he was immediately shot, point-blank, execution-style, in the head. He did not have any money on him.The crew fled the scene, Plowden then alerted the hotel front desk of the murder. As police entered the room, Plowden was caught moving $30,000 out of the room. Plowden was later charged with money laundering and identity theft. One week later Conway, Leerdam and coordinator Max B were apprehended and charged.On January 9, 2007 Max B was remanded to Bergen County Jail in New Jersey on a $2 million bail. - When he posted Bail he started going by the moniker the Million Dollar Baby. 

By June 6, 2009, he had been found guilty on 9 of 11 counts in the ongoing trial. On June 9, he was found guilty of murder conspiracy and robbery charges and faced up to 75 years

On August 30, 2012, Max’s appeal was denied and he is set to remain in prison to finish his 75-year incarceration. They trying to appeal it to a higher level.

Vigilante Season is Max B debut album.

In June 2008, Max B had signed a three album deal with independent record label Amalgam Digital. Soon after, however, they would be prevented by Jim Jones’ legal team from making any commercial releases of Max’s music. This would continue until May 2010, a year after Max B was sentenced, where in a lawsuit victory a New York City judge ruled that Jones no longer had rights over the now-incarcerated rapper’s music. Thereby allowing Amalgam to release his debut album Vigilante Season. The project which was recorded in 2008, and originally intended to be released sometime after Public Domain 3.

He recorded this in 08, but couldn’t release because Jim Jones was stopping his momentum, he was then able to release in 2011 after he won the case against Jim Jone
