Abandon 70 wood-carving projects. Get a kit and do some of it and never return to it. Get comfortable with sucking and losing motivation. Continue to create with reckless abandon.

I get so undecisive when making something. Like i could scroll through pinterest looking for something to make. But then end up with hours of scrolling and nothing chosen. So for this hat i chose a color scheme -- naturally navigating towards my favorite color blue -- and just made granny squares to "break the ice" of creating, not knowing what would come out of it. Then eventually had the idea to combine the squares to a hat (since ive made a sling bag with this color scheme before). And so this is the outcome 💙🤍

Added a ribbon to cover up the back of the magnet. One thing I'll change in the future if i remake this kind of bag is that I'll change the strap. Here, I just connected the same squares to form the sling but it's way too stretchy once i put stuff in the bag. Or maybe I'll sew a lining? But i know I'd be too lazy to sew so i might just go with changing the strap :')
