I began to do something for my second episode. Regarding the second episode, I hope he will analyze and explain in greater depth how to overcome social anxiety disorder, because in the first episode, only three minutes were devoted to explaining how to overcome it, which is very important!
I wrote an outline for the second episode of the podcast, as follows:
[0:00-2:30] Immersive Opening
Introduces the theme of confronting negative self-talk behind social anxiety.
[2:30-5:30] Unpacking the Roots
Explains how social anxiety stems from fear of judgment and societal pressures, especially among teens.
[5:30-9:00] Guided Reflection
Encourages listeners to identify and trace the origins of their self-critical thoughts.
[9:00-13:00] Long-Term Strategies
Offers three methods to build confidence: celebrating strengths, embracing imperfection, and creating a mental safe space.
[13:00-15:30] Action Challenge
Proposes daily practices like self-affirmations and journaling to foster bravery.
[15:30-17:30] Open Ending
Concludes by empowering listeners as authors of their own stories, embracing progress over perfection.
Then, I recorded and edited the second episode of the podcast.

The professor gave me some feedback on my first podcast in the studio, so I revised it and re-recorded it. I added more content to make it more detailed and adjusted the length of the music in the middle to make it more reasonable and comfortable to listen to.

During the poster iteration process, I discovered that two of the posters I had previously created used visual pressure to represent social anxiety. This was repetitive and did not effectively convey the pain of social anxiety, so I wanted to find other factors that social anxiety sufferers fear, which would be more in line with my theme and purpose. So I brainstormed agian.
Tumblr media
Finally, I chose the most obvious and widely known point: fear of socializing. I am reluctant to interact with others in social settings, so I adjusted one of the posters.
Tumblr media
In addition, I also tried to modify the layout of the other two, but this did not seem to work, so in the end I decided to keep the original layout.

I edited the recording to remove some gaps, noise, adjusted the volume and added music, here is the music I used:
dream food by Snoozy Beats https://soundcloud.com/snoozybeats Creative Commons — Attribution 3.0 Unported — CC BY 3.0 Free Download / Stream: https://www.audiolibrary.com.co/snoozybeats/dream-food Music promoted by Audio Library https://youtu.be/IvN_FEhwoXQ
This is the music I found on audiolibrary, it's very soothing and calming, and it fits my theme and goal of helping to soothe the audience.

In my previous research, I found that the eye is a powerful symbol for representing the act of gazing. With that in mind, I wanted to create a poster that directs all visual attention toward one individual, symbolizing their inner thoughts. So I looked for silhouettes and illustrations on Pinterest to support this idea.
Additionally, I’m planning to design a data visualization poster that conveys specific information about people with social anxiety disorder, and these illustrations will be useful for that purpose as well. I also started sketching some concepts based on the eye motif.
For the final poster, I hope to achieve the same strong visual impact as the first one, but with a different concept. That led me to the idea of a person inside a box—representing isolation and self-deception, which are key traits often associated with social anxiety.

Research 2
During my research, I found that adolescents are the main victims of social phobia. Both of these papers used experimental data to prove that adolescents are the main victims of social phobia.
At the same time, this article also points out that social phobia is a major cause of depression in adolescents.
Perhaps I can set my target population to adolescents. In addition to being the biggest victims, they are also the ones who spend the most time with their peers. This group is also prone to lack of knowledge about this type of disease.

This article introduces social phobia while presenting some symptoms of fixed groups such as CHILDREN. also he has two videos that are good examples of this
This article also has a detailed description with videos, as well as some literature and references to social anxiety in the general population

Tumblr media
My mind map is centered around Social Anxiety, covering psychological effects, social performance, physical reactions, social and life impacts, and coping styles. Categorizing the various aspects of social anxiety has helped me to better understand its impact and think about possible ways to express it.
