Doctors should snark at each other more, be a bit mean. Not for no reason, mind you. But if five doctors blow me off about symptoms and doctor number six FINALLY runs actual tests and gets a diagnosis, I think it should be Doctor Six's right to call up the other five and tell them they're lazy pieces of shit. That should be socially encouraged. Those first five doctors clearly can't listen to patients, but maybe another doctor might finally get to them.

it's practically taboo to still talk about covid but god i wish we could acknowledge the worldwide trauma it's clearly still causing in people. like, it's flat out just. not "polite" to talk about how a mass deadly event might, JUST MIGHT, emotionally affect us a little bit. how an airborne invisible-to-the-eye thing can just BE anywhere now. how abandoned we still feel by our respective governments. how we've lost family, friends, either to death or misinformation and cults, which they cling to because they're ALSO afraid but often refuse to admit it because it'd mean admitting covid is real and ongoing. we just. can't talk about it i guess.

Hi if you ever find yourself in a relationship saying anything along the lines of "well I can't leave cause I would never be able to find something better than this because I'm trans/fat/aging/antisocial/unlucky" I beg of you to run. Please. You can find and build better but in order to do that you have to take the first step out the door. You do not have to endure abuse, mistreatment, or just plain incompatibility for the sake of a fraction of happiness. You don't.

“It’s unrealistic for there to be so many gay people in a small town in Indiana in the 80s” girl shut up. The entire cast being queer would actually make the most sense if we’re talking narrative allegories/metaphors and stuff (let’s remember folks this is a fictional drama). But also, they’re all outcasts. They are NOT the average residents of Hawkins. In fact most of Hawkins dislikes-hates them so being a group of queers makes even more sense. Will literally gets bullied for being gay and tbh Mike as well let’s be real. Joyce, Jonathon, and Hopper are already accepting. Lucas and Dustin have never cared, Dustin’s mom is definitely a #ally as the only democrat in Hawkins. Robin is canon already, Steve is accepting and has too much tension with men his age. Max is Californian. Nancy is nonconformist and has only dated bi men so I mean… and wow would you look at that, that’s the entire cast 😃
