Rowling has this new application form that you can fill out if you're a person going to court over one of the following reasons

I watched Dunmeshi S1 last summer and every time the characters were shown to be saving food from previous meals I was super impressed. For a mostly episodic show that area of continuity was the tightest of any show I'd seen.

Like Senshi goes "Then we'll use this barley we picked up last episode" and I'm like "THE BARLEY YOU PICKED UP LAST EPISODE HOLY SHIT YOU DID PICK UP BARLEY LAST EPISODE THAT'S SO COOL!" And you wanna know the even crazier part? Close to the Red Dragon arc I was starting to wonder about all the seasonings used on the food, because they'd been so consistent about keeping track of all the food and how it gets used up and replenished and I'd noticed that they weren't doing the same for, like, the salt and various spices Senshi while cooking. And then in the Red Dragon arc part of the reason they decide to head back to the surface is because Senshi is running out of spices and I'm like "YO THEY ADDRESSED IT! THEY ACTUALLY ADDRESSED THE FACT THAT SENSHI DOESN'T HAVE INFINITE SALT! THAT'S SO COOL!"

Anyway that show was such a fun watch, I want to write resource coordination that good, and I want other shows to pay this much attention to characters' resources

I am forever grateful to an archivist mentor I worked with in grad school for some resume advice she gave me and thought maybe others would also benefit from it.

Keep a Master Resume.

This is not the resume you send out. This is a detailed resume of every job (with dates and location, supervisor and location phone number are a bonus) and as many skills/duties/accomplishments you can possibly think of for each and every one of the jobs and education programs you can think of.

She showed me hers, it was about 25 pages long, and formatted exactly like a regular resume for ease. Every time she would learn a new program/skill, she'd add it. Change in title or duties, add it. Complete something big/special/complicated/new to her/professionally significant, she would add it. This way when she went up for a promotion or raise, she had a detailed record of highlights to pick from to show she deserved it. There was no "when was that? Did I submit that last round of reviews?"

Applying to a new job? Pick and choose items from your Master Resume to plug in to the resume or CV you will be sending based on the job posting. You don't need to rewrite it, just cut and paste relevant details.

Just did my first Curse of Strahd session and it went super well 😊 My players are essentially all first-timers and they’re already making strong character choices!

If you have achieved something, please remember to observe a mandatory period of basking in the warm glow of your achievement like a lizard on a stone, lest you teach your brain that effort is futile, actually, because it didn't get to enjoy its happy chemicals, so, naturally, nothing good ever comes of trying. (And no, avoiding punishment is not a reward!)

I recommend, like, 5% of basking time in relation to whatever time you invested into achieving the thing minimum. And if you can't make your own bask, friend-brought is fine (= tell your friends!).
