Evening routine....
Removing the tattered torn mask of today I stare at her in shame. Ashamed to feel the need to hide her But it is my only armour For this creature glaring straight into my eyes, fears. She basks in her monstrosity Summoned by the souls need for air she wanders through empty walls Walls that reflect the mind of her heart. Red eyes reflect the screen portraying the faces she yearns to encounter as her reflection. She is only tamed by the mask, The mask that muffles her howls of desperation and want. The mask that needn't dare look left nor right for its reflection will see a river leading to the soul of her.

Libraries and bookshops are much bigger than we perceive them to be. Metaphorically speaking. Each book for the reader is a new world, unexplored. Yes even books with very simple plots like the dictionary or my favourite the thesaurus.

I found it
I found the silver lining, just like that. 1 AM, In the midst of finding mysel locked in my bathroom with a cup of coffee and my laptop, escaping the unwelcome visitors that had come to stay where i usually dream. I foun it.
It was like it was there all along but somehow the minor isolation forced it out of its shell.
It was thoughts i had in my head before but thoughts that were always clouded by other power full thoughts. Thoughts that overshadowed the optimistic thoughts and fueled my inner cynic.
  I wasn't relieved, i wasn't cured but i felt hopeful:
Because i felt strength, i felt human... Again.
I scrolled through instagram and saw a reflection of myself in others, a U~turn from the usual envy filled journeys i embarked on through the superficial woods of society’s platform.
It was like an angel had hugged me and given me all their positive energy.... Hope in the midst of a bleak existing.
I didn't feel new but i felt whole.... Human.. Again.
It was a surge of faith that sprung up on me unexpected, uninvited but very often requested.
An answer, finally. To my longing of breath, to feel again.
I scrolled through my “selfies”, usually deleted after a short stay in my photo album. A stay in which i scrutinize my stills, dissecting my features to the bone.
And for the first time i saw... Beauty and strength. I felt human.
Like a missing piece had returned.
Like my cup was filled. Full. whole.
  I felt human.
  I felt human............
                                                                For a while.

I went to church with my family tonight and the pastor said something that I think every Christian should hear
Pastor: Now, according to a few passages in the bible, homosexuality is a sin.
Couple of older males in the audience: Amen!
Pastor: Now, wait, I'm not finished.
Pastor: You know what else the bible defines as a sin? Divorce.
-uncomfortable silence-
Pastor: There are countless passages that talk about how divorce is wrong, and that there are consequences to getting a divorce, such as the wife should be stoned.
Pastor: Yet, I witnessed a divorce just this morning. And I gotta tell you, it was heartbreaking, but I definitely didn't attempt to throw rocks at the wife, even though she was the one who filed for divorce.
Pastor: We choose to overlook the consequences of divorce because time has proven that they're inhumane and cruel.
Pastor: The bible doesn't say anything about the consequences of a homosexual lifestyle. Yet, we seem to be spearheading a campaign to ruin the lives of people we don't even know.
-the pastor shifts a few notes around-
Pastor: The bible states to love thy neighbor. That's it. There are no other rules or restrictions to that passage.
Pastor: So, we as a church family have to support equality with a smile on our face. THAT is the true Christian way.

Restless in Night - short poem
The body. Tired, fidgets to stay awake Working for the mind overtime  Seeking a way through night Listening to the  Shallow breathing of the peaceful sleeping As the mind fights itself  Alone in the dark, again No need for light, shapes and sounds is more than enough  excessive view. For the clarity searched is the confusion found. During day it seems productivity all around. The vicinitys hard work,  the back and forth. The shallow breathing of its waiting prowl. Then back to night, the dark is haunting yet comforting as the mind works overtime

Lift your head now. The storm is gone
And all we’ll breathe
Is hopeful song.
Raise a hand
To feel for Rain
The walls are fallen
And weathers changed.
Blessed figures
All set in stone:
Gone to hide in shade
All the mountains
We rush to climb:
I have seen them fade
We are all...

The Signs and Talking
Fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius): Animated. Their excitement usually seeps into their voice. They don't have much of a filter. They can come across as harsher and more tactless than they mean to.
Earth signs (Virgo, Taurus, Capricorn): Calm. Very precise and thought out wording, unless anxious or nervous. Think a lot before speaking. They can come across as way more inflexible than they are.
Water signs (Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio): Soft and quiet. They have a hard time speaking loudly. Because they're more about listening than talking, I find that they're not used to using their voice. They can come across as way more passive and, let's face it, more like a doormat than they actually are.
Air signs (Aquarius, Libra, Gemini): Quite fast, even when they don't mean to. They think out loud and it seems more like they're brainstorming. They can come across as insensitive without realizing.
