why the heck did Higgs’ hair grow while he was stuck on the beach but his eyebrows didn’t? Also he’s got those tattoos on his back too, who did those for him, he can’t reach back there? How’s his eyeliner perfect after 10,000 years.

Higgs and Adam//the weird-ass theory

Not even really a theory and more like insane rambles.

As I've said before, I don't really think that MGS and DS as connected in any canon sense. My brain just loves to find potentials and tug them together.

So I've outlined a funny little idea that's been bouncing around in my brain: Adam (Revolver Ocelot) and Peter (Higgs) are the same person existing in past and future realities. I even wrote a little thing about it here:

Tomorrow puts her arms around him. He leans into her because it’s dark and he’s too wreaked to care. “What was a pregnant women doing in the middle of a battle?” She asks in his ear. He makes her repeat it because it’s just a buzz the first time. And he doesn’t answer her anyway because he doesn’t know.

Sooooooo lets say that because Adam was born in the middle of a battlefield, on the beaches of Normandy, that he was inevitably killed and came back (might be his daddy, the sorrow's, doing?) and the big bad patriots, who were going to kidnap this kid anyway and raise him to be a weapon, decide that this could be useful. AND (because of course they have) some version of this goverment steals our baby boy Adam FROM THEMSELVES, because of course they've figured out time travel in the future.

So they take Adam into the future, however long Death Stranding might take place after mgs4 or rising. And he's raised in a isolated bunker with a abusive "uncle" figure who also acts as his handler.

Bada bing bada boom we've got ourselves a Higgs!

Anyway, just thought I'd put my silly little thing out into the world for you lovely guys to chew on.

I'm definitely not saying that our beloved Kojimbo hath created specific ties from mgs to ds. God no (this man has enough trouble moving on for mgs to be doing it on purpose, crossing the wires as they say) buuuuuuuuut. APAC 400000000 or whatever is the conglomeration of a shit ton of souls. And Higgsy was resurrected by this thing.....

AND he's always reminded me of Ocelot guys. He's the Ocelot of this thing, kinda....but he's also very much a Eli. Like you can't look at him here and say that he doesn't look/act as a kind of mirror of Eli in this last boss fight.

So what I'm saying is that Higgs is the Liquid Ocelot that we met along the way. Like maybe in a literal way, in my own little fantasy land.

Like their souls literally glommed onto Higgs' when he got brought back?

I think sometimes that Higgs has that amazing Ocelot sense of smell--the guy, not the animal--and that's why he's always sniffing Sam and Amelie and Tomorrow? Maybe they smell like extinction or something idk. He's realllllllly digging it though.

I've been looking at screen caps because I find it....fascinating.

So Tomorrow looks like she's fighting to get somewhere or in pain? Higgs is still doing his doofy grin.

Here it looks like they're both sizing each other up? Maybe he's letting her in a little.

Mutual shock and awe here for them both.

She's still shocked/he looks scared.

This is right before the hand meltening. Tomorrow winces really hard. Higgs looks like he's shitting himself scared.

Anyway, I like looking at their faces. I hope mo-cap was fun for them, wish I could see what it looked like raw.

Ouroboros: Higgs' "death" and how he might of actually saved the day maybe.

something something about eating peeps and death stranding. BT's eat Sam to cause a void-out. That secret SamHiggs tentacle thing felt like a slow devouring or some shit. and then there's Lou/ Tomorrow and Higgs' "death".

So I think I have a small theory about what's going on.

No chance Higgs didn't know what was gonna happen. He knew he was going out from the beginning. Guy wants to die but the sad thing is this won't save him. Or maybe it will??

So let's say Lou/Tomorrow is like the head of a ouroboros, and Higgs is the the tail end. They're like magnets or like...like she's his goddess (like what Amelie wasn't for him, or was, kind of?? Amelie puppeted Higgs, controlled him; Tomorrow doesn't seem to do that at all, but she's still a EE so therefore there are connections here I can't put into words yet.)

Point is, Higgs was brought back by the AI to be devoured, and he knows this, and some how this fixes everything? Kinda? Rainy has her baby anyway, life/death cycle is restored in some way. Lou eating Higgs is like the cycle becoming a circle again.

Like, I don't think Higgs is dumb (unstable maybe) and a giant baby seems like the kind of thing you wouldn't turn your back on, even if you had "created" her. He knew something was gonna happen.

Higgs' mask wasn't eaten. So was he being controlled by the mask this whole time? I don't think he wore it once the whole game. so where was it?

So many questions.
