Sifloop week , day3.

Siffrin plunging their hand into Loop’s star to see how it feels.

The surface feels like chunky sand, but the deeper Siffrin goes, the more fine and fluid it feels. Like going from gravel to wet sand to clay. While Loop is absolutely having an overstimulated blast over this, Siffrin gets very distracted by the fact that… he can just? Go deeper? Way past where his arm should come out the other side of Loop’s body??? And by the time his Entire Arm is in, Loop has also caught on and is just as confused?

Well, until Siffrin’s hand brushes against a mass that seems comparatively more solid than the surrounding wet clay substance. And Loop gasps, immediately and violently grabbing Siffrin, begging him to stop stop no pause and Siffrin worries that he hurt Loop- but after a few heavy breaths, Loop’s like “y-you need to be… VERY very careful with that. Please”

Siffrin asks what “that” is but Loop has no fucking idea, all they know is that it’s fragile and precious and also it felt like a goddamn electroshock when Siffrin brushed against it and it was terrifying but also they need that to happen again NOW.

So Siffrin obeys, a bit intimidated by how tense Loop seems to be… but when he brushes against it once more, Loop simply clings to him harder and doesn’t tell him to stop. So he continues. To be more comfortable he settles his head in Loop’s neck and closes his eye, completely focused on his task. They carefully trace the shape with their fingers, figuring that it is somewhat spherical and slightly denser than the surrounding substance but still pretty flexible. Meanwhile every touch, every brush sends jolts across Loop’s body. They gasp for air, clinging desperately to their stardust and sometimes Siffrin even manages to rip some uniquely loud moans out of them, which is definitely not awakening anything in him. They’re pretty sure Loop cums a couple of times during this whole process.

At some point, he experimentally cups the Thing in his hands and Loop starts full on crying which is! worrying! Siffrin panics and starts to ask- but Loop cuts them off and between sobs begs him not to move, to keep holding them like that. So Siffrin… does just that. Gently holding what he is starting to suspect is Loop’s literal heart and soul combined in one sensitive package. They whisper reassurances to Loop until they are not keeping him in a crushing hold anymore.

And then gently, slowly, he removes his hand from the shape, then back out from Loop’s chest. Loop is trembling and still clinging to him, and so Siffrin simply lays down next to them and holds them close until they fall asleep, absolutely spent from this experience.

And when they wake up the next day they announce they want to do that again! Perhaps someone else in the party could try too? So many possibilities!

i spent like 40 hours projecting all sorts of things on this guy but you know what. i'm hitting them both with plural beam now. Do You See My Vision

post canon divergence au thing go. in two hat loop promises that they will meet again but i was stuck thinking whether the universe would even let loop keep their body since all the wishes have come true already, including their own (it probably would but i'm doing a little bit of suspension of disbelief here) so having to take turns with the One Siffrin Body it goes. the bittersweet alternative

also i thought about them still not calling each other by their name and referring to each other and 'stardust' and 'loop' instead. for emotional distance reasons. also as resident guys guy i love making fictional characters more guys per guy

i'm wondering how much they'd be different from each other, how much would they be the same. other than being different flavors of jaded i like to imagine that loop wouldn't like wearing the eyepatch as much anymore. siffrin likes it because it's soft and fits well and isa made it and puts bonnie at ease if they're around. but loop *just* got a face back and they're trying to make up for all the sensations they couldn't feel during siffrin's loops, the light and wind making the scars itch be damned
