GX WINNER ANNOUCNEMENT

It completely went over my head to make a winner announcement post, so even though this tourney has been over for some time now, here is an annoucnement of the winners!

Our two quarterfinalists, our bronze-medalists, are none other than Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle & Treeborn Frog! Ruby was not a surprise to me, as its one of the aces of fan-favorite Johan Andersen and overall is so cute & iconic, but I was still glad to see that little guy get so far! Treeborn Frog on the other hand WAS a surprise to me, as it was a card that I forgot about yet this little frog was able to get farther than many fan favorites. Good job you guys!

For our runner-up and silver medalist is none other than Rescue Cat! This OSHA-approved kitty got soooo much father than anyone thought, again beating many fan favorites, and even looked like they were going to beat our eventual winner for a while (and I mean it, there was a good chunk of time in the finals that Rescue Cat was beating the eventual winner & even I thought it might have won!) This is no small feat, considering how popular our eventual winner was, so don't take this cat lying down! Congrats Rescue Cat!

Finally, our winner was none other than WINGED KURIBOH!!!

hi everyone! me and my lover are in a tough spot right now. the gofundme is a bit lengthy but the tl;dr is that we need to get Lux enough money to study in England. they have already been accepted into the university itself and Lux has no home, no family and no money in the united states. They have had a life full of hardship and suffering, and right now this is our only shot to get lux into a safe, loving environment with me in the UK, where I can fully support them in my own apartment.

we have about four months to at least raise 11K, which is the cost of the first half of the year. we have applied for fafsa but because they're estranged they get LESS money as a loan. The US system has failed them time and time again.

We currently have two months until Lux has to go back to America, and our supportive aunt cannot afford another plane ticket, which we will have to use the gofundme money for.

In terms of gameplay mechanics, OG Kuriboh gets you out of damage from ONE(1) fight, and only if it's still in your hand to discard. Winged Kuriboh has to be summoned, but ends battle damage for the whole turn. Narratively, Winged Kuriboh is with Jaden more than OG was ever with the Yugis, and they have conversations and are true friends.
