starstruck — jinu, kpdh.
Tumblr media
wherein jinu finds himself a flustered and stuttering mess after being called an honorific by a fan with the prettiest eyes ever—wait what? [jinu x reader] cws: jinu being mean internally :-( a/n: lots of love for my man aaaahh shibal my life i miss him
jinu was bored out of his mind.
whatever nickname or term of endearment thrown at him—handsome, prince, husband, baby, you name it, jinu's heard of them all. he's gotten use to it at this point, the attention feeding on his ego. but at this point of his fake career, he's gotten bored at the feeling of being praised as if he was this great godly being.
he knew he was the furthest thing from, so it gave him a sick feeling whenever he suddenly got conscious of his actions.
he currently sat in a fan meet for the saja boys wherein the group greeted and interacted with their stans with false enthusiasm. he conversed with them with excitement—falsely so he'd think he was a top korean actor.
the sudden feeling of his hollow body creeping up at the back of his mind grounded him. snapping out of his thoughts, jinu plastered a wide grin at fan as they moved to mystery next to him. he kept the same smile for the next fan to greet him.
you settled yourself in front of him, hands in front of you with a handmade bracelet to offer him, an awestruck expression visible on your face. "hey there," jinu greeted, eyeing you from your features to how your hair was styled, before settling to look at your eyes. "what's that you got there?"
you felt like melting at the unbroken eye contact that your bias made with you, making you double think to whether the consequences would be reasonable if you jumped him right now.
shaking your thoughts away, you chuckled nervously before stretching your hand more towards him, making the offer of the bracelet more obvious towards him.
jinu hummed as he picked it up with his fingers, intentionally lingering at your palm, a trick he knows seems to work with every fan he's encountered. "for me?" he faked a gasp as he eyed it, the thought of yet another gift to throw away making him laugh in his mind. with a smirk, he eyed the golden stars hanging from the metal bracelet, crafted far from perfection, but with care from a fan.
you nodded, oblivious to the idol's internal monologue. "it's simple, but i think it would really suit you, oppa."
jinu's smirk faltered immediately as he felt his body stiffen, his eyes boring through yours. he felt his voice get stuck in his throat, his breath suddenly ragged. jinu blinked excessively, a warmth creeping up from the back of his neck, reaching his ears and face in less than a second.
"ah—o-oh!" jinu exclaimed rather loudly, his voice cracking.
abby, mystery, and the fans they're conversing with turned to him with confused, amused expressions at the unusual sound emitted from him.
jinu plastered a grin on his lips, a hand going through his dark locks as an attempt to cool himself. "th-than—wow, this is pretty!" he forced a laugh to conceal his fluster. why did the color of your eyes suddenly pop and seem so magnetic? "you're really talented," jinu added, another attempt to keep his cool as he leaned on the table with his elbows.
you giggled from behind your hand, shiny eyes looking up at him in delight. "you really think so, oppa?"
his elbow slipped from the edge of the table. jinu caught himself, straightening his posture immediately before plastering a cheeky smile on his face. "yes, yes, you're pretty—it's! pretty, i mean. of course, you are too, my pride," jinu struck himself across the face internally at how ridiculous he seemed as he stumbled over his words. he eyed the colored blush on the soft curves of your cheeks and the glitter on your eyelids, thinking of just how well they compliment you.
jinu followed your movements with his eyes, watching how a stubborn hair strand fell against your cheek despite tucking it behind your ear. "how charming," you commented jokingly.
jinu's eyes stilled as they found their way back to yours, his gaze softening as his heartbeat steadied into a reasonable pace. he glanced down at your gift and carefully locked it around his wrist. "thank you for this. i'm jinu, by the way," he said.
you stared at him for a moment before laughing softly. he may have forgotten that he was a literal k-pop idol and that you paid to see him along his members specifically, so an introduction was silly, to say the least. you held out a hand, with an amused smile on your lips, your name slipping from your lips softly as you spoke. "it's nice to meet you, jinu."
as the boys followed their routine of discarding fans' gifts and letters, but the coldness of the bracelet stayed against jinu's wrist as he went home.

★☆★
You didn’t know how the meet and greet went from 3 people to 8, with two tables connected. But you had to give credit where credit is due because this is amazing publicity.
Huntrix AND Saja Boys Fan Event.
What a headline.
It surprised you that it is going pretty smoothly— ignoring the fact that some of them were fighting and shoving each other, they were quite mature about the whole ordeal.
You assumed that Rumi planned this with Jinu the night you bumped into them. The bunch was doing an amazing job, signing merch, posters, answering questions, being… friends.
If you would even call it that.
At the table, Jinu was craning his neck up, his head moving from side to side to look for one particular person.
“She’s over there.” Rumi teasingly said to Jinu, nudging her head to gesture to where you and Bobby were standing discussing.
His movements weren’t really unnoticeable.
Jinu coughed, turning his head downwards. He didn’t think he was that obvious. “What do you mean?”
Rumi smirked. “You’re too obvious, dude.”
“No, I’m not!” he exclaimed, sending the fan a weird smile when he noticed his little outburst.
“Are we whispering?” the fan asked.
Jinu and Rumi quickly signed the poster, handing it to the fan with an awkward smile.
“Your secret’s safe with me.” she pointed to the t-shirt, a doodle of the two with wings on Jinu and Rumi riding on him, the text reads Rujinu. Making the pair laugh dryly, not really sure how to react. “Oh, so cute.” the fan said, walking away.
Jinu kept his eyes on the fan, making sure that you didn’t see her— the t-shirt specifically. He didn’t want you to get any false ideas.
The man sighs when he notices the fan leaving the building without bumping into you. Rumi noticed his behaviour and chuckled. “Idiot.”
“Who are you calling idiot?” Jinu scoffs as they continue to bicker.
From afar, you were staring at the pair with a heavy chest. You didn’t know why. They matched each other so well and you don’t know why that forms a pit in your stomach.
Jinu could feel a pair of eyes on him, and when he turned his head, his eyes met yours.
His heart stutters. Yours did too.
You swallowed thickly before giving him a small wave and timid smile. He practically beams with happiness.
You noticed him!
He raises his hand, fingers moving in a greeting motion. A small voice took his attention away, the kid giving him a small paper with a drawing. His eyes softens as he takes the gift in.
Suddenly Rumi stood up, “Isn’t he great? Woo! Jinu, everybody! Yeah, Jinu!” everyone clapped, as bouquets were thrown to the table for the Saja Boys.
Jinu abruptly stood up, “Unfortunately, the Saja Boys have to run. Thank you everyone.” the other members followed as well, walking to the back exit.
You furrow your eyebrows at the sudden change, feet moving you could even think as you tried to catch up to Jinu before he left.
“Jinu!” you yell.
Goosebumps appeared all over his body as he turned around, “Hi.” he stopped in front of you, wide eyes staring as his whole body goes warm.
You chuckled, “Hi, Jinu.”
He will never get used to how you say his name.
“You did well, out there.” your head nudges to the meet and greet area, “They love you.” you smirk, exaggerating the words.
He mirrors your smile, “Yeah, well, I’m good at what I do.”
You scoff, “Hold your horses, cowboy.” before your voice softens, “The kid loves you.” you gestured to the paper
Jinu hides the card behind his back, cheeks pink and warm from embarrassment and the fact that you are in his vicinity. “She just likes my voice and dances.” his eyes casted downwards, at the paper.
YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL SOUL.
You furrow your eyebrows, “I don’t know you,” you shrug. Jinu’s heart fell, “but I know you’re a good person. I can see it. Even just now, Rumi doesn’t just let anyone around her.”
Jinu catches your eyes and melts immediately, staring at you is like staring at art in a museum. Valuable, one of a kind but out of touch.
He doesn’t deserve any of this.
He coughs out his nerves, “You don’t know me.” He didn't mean for it to come off as rude, but the crushing reality will never soothe away. Not while you’re standing right in front of him. Eyes shining, looking at him like he’s someone worth your attention, voice sweet, and kind smiles.
You don’t even remember him.
You don’t take offence at his sharp tone, “Yeah, but,” you shrugged, “weirdly it feels like I do and I believe that you are good.”
You might as well rip his soul out.
Feels like I do.
What is he supposed to do with that?
When you looked up to meet his eyes again, you couldn’t explain the gnawing feeling in your stomach. at the sight of his face. He looks so broken. So hurt.
You never want to see him like that.
“Thanks.” he mumbled out, crumpling the poor paper from how hard he is balling his fists. His heart thumped in his chest.
You both stared at each other for a moment, the air tense but familiar.
Familiar?
“Well, I better get going.” Jinu mumbled, pointing his thumb to his back, “The others are probably waiting.”
You took a step back, “Yeah! Yeah, of course. Sorry, didn’t mean to hog you.” you chuckled.
He shrugs, “I don’t mind. I like talking to you.” softly smiling before walking away, leaving you dumbfounded and blushing.
As he turns, Jinu’s smile drops, his shoulders sagging as the weight of your presence trickles away. Everytime he’s around you, his stomach twists into weird ways, nerves, excitement, grief.
And he isn’t really sure what to do with it.

The Crimson Pact | Part 4
Characterizations | Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
Tumblr media
SoulBond!AU
Pairings: Yandere!Saja Boys x F!Reader
Synopsis: You were never supposed to remember them.
Four hundred years ago, a pact was made—a blood-soaked bond tying five demons to one human soul: yours.
They’ve waited lifetimes for your reincarnation, cursed with obsession, tethered by fate.
And now that you’ve returned?
They’ll burn the world before they let you go again.
Warnings: Soul bond with the Saja Boys, Yandere themes!, obsessive behavior / possessiveness, romantic psychological tension, mentions of implied past death / reincarnation, intense emotional fixation, yearning, dark romance, hurt/comfort
A/N: Another chapter for my lovely readers! Thank you for the support! I hope you enjoy this one. <3 I'll also be cross-posting to AO3 now that this chapter is written.
───────── ༺🜃༻ ─────────
The Saja boys are all demons.
They are wrath and ruin. Jealousy and death.
And yet, before her, they kneel.
Because she is the Heart. Because her soul is what keeps them from unraveling into true monsters. Because they were bound by her love and her curse.
They don’t just crave her—they depend on her. Without her presence, their minds deteriorate. Their bodies decay. Their hunger becomes unbearable.
Only Y/N’s touch tames the demon inside.

Part 4:
What They Would Give
The dream was silk and shadow.
Gold candlelight flickered across paper walls. A bipa hummed in the distance, low and mournful, each note a whisper from another life. Your bare feet pressed against cold stone floors, hem of your hanbok brushing the ground as you moved silently through the eastern wing of the palace. You knew this place. Knew every turn, every tile, every secret door the nobles thought you were too stupid to notice.
But you weren’t stupid. And he always knew that.
“Yeobo,” a voice breathed behind you—low, reverent, broken. You turned.
Jinu stood beneath the moonlight, hair tied back, royal silks stained with dirt. His face was young—so achingly young—but those eyes held lifetimes. They always had.
He reached for you, and when you didn’t flinch, his hand cupped your cheek like you were something made of music and prayers. “You shouldn’t be here.”
You smiled, teasing, like always. “Neither should you.”
He laughed softly. God, that sound.
“Did they find out?” you asked, voice quieter now. “About us?”
His silence was answer enough.
The dream shifted. You were in his private room now, tucked between scrolls and incense and the scent of him. He knelt beside you, watching as you dabbed the scrape on his hand.
“I’m not worth the blood you spill,” you whispered once. And he had looked at you like you’d torn open the sky. “Don’t say that.”
“Then don’t let them hurt you for me.”
Another shift. Rain pounded against palace tiles. The smell of smoke. The wail of women in the distance. He held you against his chest—his heartbeat frantic as yours slowed.
“Stay awake,” he begged.
But the poison was already in your lungs. You tried to speak, to tell him you weren’t afraid. That it wasn’t his fault. But all that came out was blood. And he had screamed your name like it would call your soul back.
The dream cracked.
You stood in the palace courtyard now. Alone. Wind howling. Your breath fogged before you. A mirror rippled in the dark—a still pool once used by concubines for beauty rituals.
You stepped forward. Looked in. And saw him.
Not Jinu.
Not exactly.
His face was his, but darker. Skin a cold hue of purple or blue- you couldn’t tell. Patterns twisted across his neck and flawless face like vines. They glowed a faint violet. His eyes—black and gold, molten and endless. Clawed hands. No blood on them—but you knew there had been. His silks were gone, replaced by flowing black garments that moved like smoke.
He looked up at you. And he smiled.
You screamed.
And woke up. Gasping, drenched in sweat, your sheets tangled around you like vines. Your breath came in sharp bursts. Faint morning light filtered through the blinds, soft against the sheen on your skin.
What the hell was that?
The memories weren’t yours. Couldn’t be yours. You’d never worn a hanbok. At least, not since you were a little girl. Never kissed Jinu beneath the stars or held his trembling hands in a candlelit room. So why did it feel more real than anything else in your life?
You sat up, pressing a shaking hand to your chest. Then—
Knock, knock. Your head snapped toward the door. A voice. Gentle. Familiar.
“Y/N?” Jinu.
You swallowed, heart still pounding. “I… I’m fine,” you said. Too fast. Too high.
Silence.
Then, “Alright. If you need anything… I’m right outside.”
You exhaled. Slowly. A beat passed. Your hand stayed pressed over your chest. But your thoughts drifted back—not to the kiss, or the palace, or even the blood.
No.
They stayed on that reflection. The patterns. The eyes.
Was that Jinu?
And more terrifying—
Why aren’t you scared of him?
────────── ⚘ ──────────
You padded into the kitchen wrapped in silence and Jinu’s hoodie.
The boys were already there—some seated, some standing—bathed in morning sunlight and the smell of eggs and something sweet. Pancakes maybe? Abby was at the stove, flipping something with surprising delicacy. Baby lounged in the corner seat, head resting lazily against the glass. Mystery sat curled up in his seat like a housecat, eating fruit with his fingers. Romance leaned against the counter, cradling a mug like it was a stage prop he was dramatically rehearsing with.
And Jinu—
Jinu sat at the head of the table, reading a folded newspaper like he hadn’t held you for hours last night, lips pressed against your forehead while your body trembled in remembrance. Before sleep had taken you into that haunting dream.
His eyes flicked up when you entered. “Morning,” he said softly.
You nodded. “Morning.”
You could feel it—the heat of their gazes, the air shifting around you like invisible fingers brushing your skin. There was a gentleness in their posture. A quietness. But also… something else.
Caution.
They were being careful with you. Too careful.
You sat down in the seat Mystery scooted out for you. His cheek brushed your arm and he inhaled like he was starved for it. Your heart did a small, weird flutter. You avoided Jinu’s eyes.
Did they know? Did they see? They were demons. They probably felt it. The bond. The kiss.
Your face burned as you accepted a plate from Abby, who set it down with too much force. His eyes flicked to your neck for half a second before looking away. You could feel the tension rippling through his shoulders.
Oh god. They did know.
Romance was the first to speak. Of course he was. “Sleep well, sweetheart?” he purred, voice warm and slippery. “You look flushed.”
“I’m fine,” you mumbled, stabbing your pancake with unnecessary aggression. “Just hot.”
“Hmm,” he said with a smirk, “I bet you are.”
You flinched. They definitely knew.
Your thoughts spiraled. One kiss. Just one. You didn’t even mean for it to happen. But now— Were you supposed to kiss them all? Were they expecting that? Were they mad?
A clatter drew your eyes—Baby had dropped his fork. He didn’t pick it up. Just stared at you, elbow on the table, jaw resting against his hand. His black eyes flicked down to your mouth.
You quickly looked away.
“I didn’t mean—” you blurted, then froze. “I mean. I… I don’t know what I’m doing. With any of this. With you. With the bond.”
A pause. And then Jinu spoke—gentle, but unshakeable. “You don’t have to do anything.”
You blinked.
“You don’t owe us anything,” he added, folding his paper. “The bond… it’s not a leash. It’s a thread. You pull when you’re ready.”
Mystery leaned against your side, nuzzling your shoulder. “We’ll wait,” he whispered, voice soft. “We always do.”
Romance tilted his head, smiling faintly—but there was something sharper beneath it. “We’ll be patient. But not passive. We still want you to choose us.”
Abby sat beside you, jaw tense. “You don’t have to split yourself up,” he muttered. “You don’t have to kiss anyone until you want to. Really want to.”
You stared down at your plate. Your hands shook. “I don’t want to hurt anyone,” you whispered. “It’s just… too much. Too fast.”
“No one’s hurt,” Jinu said. “We’ve waited four hundred years. We can wait a little longer.”
“You’re not gonna disappear again,” Mystery whispered, holding the edge of your sleeve like he was afraid you might.
“And when you do come to us,” Romance added with a sly glint, “we’d prefer it if it’s because you’re burning for us. Not because you feel guilty.”
You swallowed. Baby’s voice was last to join, quiet but absolute. “We’ve already had your soul. We want your heart now. The rest… can come later.”
You stared at them. Five monsters. Five men. All of them impossibly patient. All of them aching. And still willing to wait for you to fall in love again.
Your throat tightened. You nodded. “Thank you.”
Romance lifted his mug. “Anytime, darling.”
Baby smiled faintly. Abby grunted. Mystery purred. And Jinu just watched you with the softest expression you’d ever seen.
You took a bite of the pancakes Abby had stacked on your plate and paused. Your eyes widened. “Wait… these are actually good.”
Abby raised a brow. “What do you mean actually?”
Sheepishly, you stabbed another forkful. “I just didn’t expect a demon to know how to make pancakes.”
He scoffed, flicking batter from the spatula. “I’ve been alive for centuries. You think I wouldn’t know how to scramble an egg or flip a damn pancake?”
Romance leaned in, chin on his palm. “He’s particularly good with his hands, if you’re wondering.”
You choked. “I’m not—”
“I have a very diverse skillset,” Abby interrupted smugly. You rolled your eyes—but your smile faltered. Because just then, the warmth of the kitchen, the golden sunlight on the tile, the smell of syrup and coffee—it all fell away.
You remembered silk. And blood. And a flicker of something with glowing eyes staring back at you in a polished palace floor. Your fork paused halfway to your lips. “Hey… can I ask you something?”
All of them stilled. Jinu looked up from his mug. “Of course.”
Your voice dropped, uncertain. “Last night. I saw something. In my dream. It was… dark. I think it was you. But not you.”
Jinu’s fingers tightened slightly around his cup. The others were still. Tense. “I think… I saw your demon form,” you said softly.
Romance’s smile vanished. Mystery immediately tucked himself tighter against your side. Baby stared at you, silent and unmoving, his gaze like ice.
You looked around the table. “I just… What are you? What do you look like?”
For a long moment, no one spoke. Then Jinu sighed. “We’re not hiding anything from you.”
“We just…” Abby scratched the back of his neck. “We’re not exactly cuddly in those forms.”
“She’d still like me,” Mystery mumbled into his fruit.
“You don’t know that,” Abby grunted.
“I do.”
“We literally glow purple and get creepy marks all over our face—”
“She thinks they’re cool!”
“Your eyes turn gold like a cursed cat, bro.”
“She likes cats!”
“Boys,” Jinu said firmly, not looking up from his tea. They went quiet instantly. He turned back to you. “We will show you. In time.”
Romance’s voice was softer than usual. “You’ve already seen us in your dreams. But dreams are hazy. Romantic. We’re… not.”
“We don’t want to scare you,” Jinu said.
“I’m not scared,” you said too quickly.
Five sets of eyes landed on you at once. You shrank a little in your seat. “Okay. Maybe a little.”
Romance smiled sadly. “We’d rather you see us when you’re ready. When the bond is strong enough that you feel what we are before you ever have to see it.”
Jinu reached for your hand gently. “When you’re ready,” he said again. “And when you are… we’ll show you. All of us.”
You swallowed. Nodded. And returned to your pancakes, even though they didn’t taste quite as sweet anymore.
After breakfast, you’re slipping on your coat when a warm hand wraps gently around your wrist. You turn—and Jinu’s already pulling you into the hallway beside the kitchen, just out of view of the others.
“Jinu?” you ask, heartbeat stuttering. His touch isn’t rough. But it isn’t something you can ignore either. He says nothing for a moment. Just watches you in the soft light. His gaze flickers to your lips, then to your throat, then back to your eyes.
“I heard you wake up around five,” he says, voice low. “Your breathing changed.”
You blink. “You… heard me?”
“I always hear you.” His thumb brushes over your wrist, tender. Like he’s memorizing the pulse there. “Even in my sleep.”
Your cheeks flush, and for a second you look down—but Jinu lifts your chin with two fingers. “You didn’t come out of the room,” he says. “Did the dream scare you?”
You hesitate.
“It’s okay,” he adds, gentler now. “You don’t have to tell me. I just… wanted to see you before you left.”
“I’m fine,” you whisper. “Really.”
His eyes narrow like he doesn’t quite believe you—but he lets it go. For now. “I just needed to know,” he murmurs, stepping closer, “that you didn’t regret last night.”
Your breath catches.
Jinu’s face is barely an inch from yours now. His voice is like velvet wrapped in steel. “Because if you did… I’d find a way to make you forget the regret. I’d replace it with something else.”
You don’t move. Can’t.
His hand cups your cheek, thumb brushing your skin like it’s sacred. “I know I said I’d go slow,” he says, head tilting, “and I will. But when you kissed me—Y/N, I’ve waited four hundred years to feel that again. If you ever change your mind… just know I won’t stop you next time.”
Your heart slams against your ribs. And then—he leans forward. But he doesn’t kiss your lips. His lips graze your forehead, soft, reverent.
A mark. A brand. A promise. When he pulls back, his smile is small—but there’s fire behind it.
“Be careful out there,” Jinu says, brushing a loose hair from your face. “Don’t talk to anyone who looks at you too long.”
You raise a brow. “Is that a threat?”
“No,” he says softly. “It’s a warning. For their sake.” And then he lets you go.
But as you step out the front door, you feel it: his gaze burning into your back like a tether. Like he’s already counting the seconds until you return.
────────── ⚘ ──────────
The morning air nipped at your cheeks as you walked beside Abby down the sleepy Seoul street. The hem of your coat brushed your knees, and your fingers were wrapped tight around the coffee Abby insisted you hold—even if you were about to clock into a café that sold twenty variations of the same drink.
“I still don’t get why you have to work here,” Abby muttered for the third time this morning, tugging the strap of your bag higher on your shoulder like it offended him. “You should be sleeping in. Eating fruit someone peeled for you. Or being worshipped. Like a normal girl.”
You glanced up at him. “A normal girl?”
“Well, a normal soulbound girl. Obviously.”
You snorted. “Not helping your argument.”
He didn’t laugh. Just walked closer, his frame blocking the wind like a personal fortress.
At the café, he waited until you stepped safely inside before crossing his arms and glaring through the glass like the windows were one sneeze away from shattering. You pretended not to notice.
By midmorning, the scent of caramel and burnt espresso clung to your skin, and the line was a manageable trickle. Mystery had popped in an hour ago to leave a pack of honey biscuits on the counter (“In case you didn’t eat enough.”) and Baby had passed by too—not entering, just lingering outside like a ghost in the reflection of the glass. You couldn’t be sure, but you thought he was watching your manager. You tried not to think about it.
Then, of course, there was Romance.
He swept in at 11:47, in sunglasses and smugness, murmuring something about how coffee tastes better when you're watching the love of your life make it. You’d rolled your eyes and told him to sit in the corner and stop causing a scene. He winked and obeyed.
Everything was going smoothly.
Until it wasn’t.
The bell above the café door jingled sharply—and something inside you prickled. The new customer wasn’t odd at first glance: young, tall, dressed like a college student. But there was something off. Something in the way he looked around the café, not like a customer, but like he was searching.
You stiffened. Then he looked directly at you—and smiled. Your stomach dropped.
He walked to the counter, but didn’t order. Just leaned in a little too close. “Y/N, right?” he asked.
You blinked. “Do… do I know you?”
“Nah,” he said. “But I know you. Been seeing your name around. Cute face, too. You’ve got fans, you know.”
Something about his voice scraped at your nerves. You took a small step back. “Sorry, you’ll have to order something if you’re not here to—”
“You smell different than I expected,” he said suddenly, nostrils flaring. “Sweeter. Almost... too sweet.”
Your blood ran cold. He wasn’t human. Before you could say another word, a deep growl split the air. And then Abby was there.
You didn’t see the door open. Didn’t hear him enter.
But suddenly, your coworker was shoved behind the counter, Romance was standing from his corner seat with eyes glowing faintly gold—and Abby had the stranger by the collar, slammed against the nearest wall with a crash that rattled the syrup bottles.
“You have five seconds,” Abby snarled, voice low and rumbling, “to explain why a low-tier, trashborn demon thought it was smart to walk within ten feet of her.”
The stranger choked on his breath, writhing under the hold. “I didn’t—I was just curious—! The scent—she’s—”
“You looked at her,” Abby snapped. “You spoke to her.”
“She doesn’t even know what she is—!” The air changed. Abby’s eyes darkened. Not just with anger. With promise. He leaned in, and his voice was a whisper made of knives.
“Then let me teach you what I am.”
The café was silent. Your coworkers frozen. Romance stepped between you and the others like a shield, hand on your lower back.
“Close your eyes, baby,” he murmured.
“Abby,” you called—panicked now. “Abby, stop.”
And maybe it was your voice that pulled him back. Or maybe it was the fact that the stranger was already whimpering, nose bloodied, eyes wide with terror.
Abby let him go. The demon crashed to the floor, wheezing. “Leave,” Abby said. “Before I finish what I started.”
The demon scrambled, vanished out the door with supernatural speed. And still Abby stood there, fists clenched, chest heaving. His eyes scanned your face. “Are you okay?”
You nodded, throat tight. “Yeah. I think so.”
Romance brushed your hair back, but didn’t smile. “You’re not supposed to be seen. Not like that. Word’s spreading.”
“I’m… sorry,” you mumbled.
Abby looked like he wanted to punch something else. “Not your fault.”
Romance’s jaw tightened. “We’ll talk later.”
But something was clear now. Crystal clear. You weren’t safe. Even here.
And the boys? They’d burn the world to make sure you were.

The boys don’t notice them, but Huntrix watches.
Perched across the street from the café, tucked behind a rusted bus stop, Zoey chews on her gum like it’s the last sin in Seoul.
They see it all. Abby bursting into the café without a sound. Romance standing from his seat like a prince with knives in his mouth. Y/N, frozen in confusion and fear, wide-eyed behind the counter.
And then it happens. Abby slams another demon against the wall so hard the menu board rattles. Mira’s hand twitches toward her weapon on instinct—but she doesn’t move.
“She’s… still with them,” Mira says tightly, eyes fixed on the scene.
“Not just with them,” Zoey mutters. “They’re protecting her.”
“No,” Mira says, trying to convince herself. “They’re using her. Shielding their asset.”
Zoey shakes her head, frowning. “Then why did he just attack another demon? That guy wasn’t even hostile. Just sniffing around.”
“She’s human,” Rumi says softly, still watching. “I’ve scanned her three times. She’s not cursed. Not altered. No patterns. She’s… just a girl.”
“So why are five demons orbiting her like she’s the goddamn sun?” Zoey exclaims.
None of them answer.
Inside the café, the tension breaks. The intruder flees. Abby stays between Y/N and the rest of the world like her bodyguard—or her beast. They watch Romance reach for her shoulder.
They’re not acting. They’re not pretending. This isn’t manipulation. It’s something far more dangerous.
“They care about her,” Rumi says finally. “Or… they think they do.”
Mira scoffs. “Demons don’t care. They hunger. They cling to whatever they’re trying to own.”
Rumi stays silent. But her hands are white-knuckled inside her sleeves, fists clenched so tight they tremble. Because she’s seen something the others haven’t. A memory she wasn’t supposed to find.
Tucked deep in the bottom of a chest meant to stay locked—a yellowed letter, written in ink faded with age and smudged by something darker. She found it years ago, back when she was still trying to piece together who her mother really was. A letter written in a language she’d never been taught, yet somehow… understood.
A demon’s handwriting. The words bled longing. Grief. Worship. She remembered reading the last line over and over: “If I burn for you, let me burn.”
Celine never talked about it. When Rumi asked about her mother, Celine only told her the same thing every time: “She was a hunter. A good one. Until she got too close to what we kill.”
Back then, Rumi believed her. She had to. Celine saved her. Raised her. Trained her. Taught her to never trust a demon’s smile or a monster’s promise. But now…
Now she watches Abby hover by Y/N’s side, tension rippling under his skin every time a customer raises their voice at her. She watches Romance hover near like he’s her loyal shadow. She saw Jinu the other day—calm, regal, protective—glance at the girl like she’s a prayer he’s still waiting to be answered.
It doesn’t make sense. Demons don’t protect humans. Demons don’t get soft eyes and careful hands. Demons don’t love.
Except… maybe they do.
Jinu once told her—in one of their secret meetings, just the two of them, when she let her guard slip for one second—“Demons feel. Some of us wish we didn’t.”
She thought it was a line. Another ploy. But watching him now… watching them… She wonders if it was the truth. And if it is—if demons can really feel like this—then maybe her mother hadn’t been weak. Maybe she hadn’t been tricked. Maybe she’d been in love.
And maybe what terrifies Rumi the most is the look on Y/N’s face when the boys are near. Because it looks like recognition. It looks like longing. It looks… mutual.
And for the first time in her life, Rumi is unsure of everything she was taught to fight for.

Back at the apartment, the mood was sharp—too sharp.
The moment the front door closed behind you, the air thickened like static before a lightning strike. The boys didn’t say anything at first. They just stared. Watched you kick off your shoes, shrug off your coat. Watched the way your hands shook slightly when you went to pour water into a glass.
Then Romance stepped forward. “You need to quit,” he said.
You blinked. “Excuse me?”
“Your job,” Jinu added, arms crossed. “It’s too dangerous now.”
You laughed, but it came out awkward and dry. “You’re all being dramatic. It wasn’t that serious—Abby handled it. I was fine.”
Abby stiffened beside you, jaw clenched. Jinu’s expression didn’t move.
“It’s the second time,” Mystery said quietly from the corner, curled on the windowsill. Your stomach dropped. “What?”
“Two days ago,” Baby murmured, arms folded and expression unreadable. “There was demon scent on the café’s back door. We didn't tell you. We thought it was just a scout.”
“I confirmed it,” Jinu said. “He was watching you. You never saw him.”
Romance’s eyes darkened, gold flickering like candlelight. “And now one tries to make contact in broad daylight. You think that’s nothing?”
You looked between them, suddenly very, very aware of how much you hadn’t been told.
“You’re not safe there,” Jinu said firmly. “Not when we can’t be around every second.”
You bristled. “Okay, but you are around. Literally all the time. I feel like I’ve got an army shadowing me every shift—”
“Because you do,” Baby said bluntly. “And it’s still not enough.”
You blink at him. “So I just… give up my life?”
Romance softens instantly, like he’s pulling back on a leash. “What he means is—we don’t want to see anything happen to you. That café’s a risk. You’re vulnerable there. You don’t need to be.”
You hesitate. And then—click—your mind makes a connection. Their protectiveness. Their control. And something that never quite sat right with you.
You lift your eyes. “...What happened to Jae?”
The question silences the room. Romance doesn’t miss a beat. He smiles gently. “Ah. The guy from the club?”
“Yeah,” you say. “He was weird, but you didn’t have to—what did you even do to him?”
“Nothing permanent,” Romance says smoothly.
Your gaze sharpens. “Romance.”
He smiles too easily, all charm and warmth stretched over something colder. “I offered him a very friendly warning. Abby may have been more… direct.”
You narrow your eyes. “Is he okay?”
Romance tilts his head, fake-thinking. “He probably won’t remember anything. A touch of glamour and a sprained wrist. Maybe a dislocated ego.”
You stare harder. “That’s not funny.”
“But it’s true,” he counters, smile curling. “And effective. He won’t bother you again.”
There’s a glint in his eye—something too smooth, too polished. Manipulation wrapped in silk.
“You’re lying,” you murmur. The air shifts.
“I told you,” Abby growls, stepping forward. “He touched you.”
You glance at his clenched fists. “What did you do to him?”
“He doesn’t matter,” Abby says flatly. “He was going to hurt you. I saw it. I felt it.”
“That’s not your call to make!”
“Everything about you is my call,” he growls. “Because I’ll do what you won’t. I’ll cross the lines. So you don’t have to.”
Your breath catches. You suddenly realize how close Abby is and the intensity of his stare.
“Okay,” Jinu says tightly. “Enough.”
Romance straightens his collar. “Let Abby calm her down. She’s overwhelmed.”
Jinu doesn’t argue. He just nods once at Abby and you sigh, letting Abby’s large frame usher you to your room. You wanted to have a word with him in private anyways.
Once the door was firmly shut, the four shared a knowing look with each other in the livingroom.
“She won’t quit on her own,” Romance says.
Jinu doesn’t respond. He’s staring out the window, pensive.
“She thinks it’s her choice. That’s adorable,” Romance continues with a bitter smile. “But this situation—it’s pulling demons to her like flies. They’ve always been curious, but now that they know where she is and that she’s real.” Romance sneers. “Their curiosity is going to kill them. And every one of them is a threat.”
Mystery’s eyes narrow. “You want to scare her.”
“No,” Romance says smoothly. “I want to guide her. Nudge her toward the life she deserves. One where she’s surrounded by people who love her more than air.”
“And you’ll decide how that looks?” Jinu’s voice is quiet. Dangerous.
Romance’s expression darkens just slightly. “You saw her a minute ago. She’s already cracking. All I’m doing is accelerating the inevitable.”
Baby finally speaks, voice a low echo: “What do you want us to do?”
Romance’s smile returns—cold and wicked. “Nothing direct. Just… let the pieces fall. Let the café fall apart.”
Jinu sighs and turns. “No fire.”
“No blood,” Mystery adds. “She wouldn’t like that.”
Romance raises a hand, smug. “Of course not. I’m not stupid. She’ll leave on her own. And when she does…” His gaze sharpens. “She’ll see that we’re the only constant.”
────────── ⚘ ──────────
Abby shuts the bedroom door behind him. Not with a slam—but with finality.
You don’t resist when he gently guides you toward the bed. He doesn’t say much at first. Just pulls you into his arms, into the warmth of his chest like it’s instinct. You don’t know if he means to, but his grip is tight. Fierce. His hand curls around the back of your head, like he’s afraid you’ll vanish if he blinks too long.
“I don’t want to fight with you,” he mutters.
“I know,” you whisper. You gaze at his arms that were wrapped tightly around you- the ones he’d use to inflict whatever violence necessary for your sake. Your eyes trail up his muscled limbs to his broad shoulders. There was a moment of silence before you spoke.
“I don’t get it,” you whisper. “Why are you like this?”
“Like what?”
“This…” You wave your hand vaguely. “Overprotective. Overbearing. Intense. It’s like you can’t breathe unless I’m under lock and key.”
“I can’t,” he says. Your heart skips. His voice is quiet. No teasing. No growl. Just truth. “I can’t breathe when you’re not safe.”
You stare at him.
“I don’t know how to do this slow,” Abby says. “I try, I swear I do. Jinu says wait. Mystery whines when I get too close. Baby glares like he’ll gut me if I scare you. But I see you, and all I wanna do is keep you close. Wrap you in my arms and keep every bad thing away. Rip this world apart if it even thinks of touching you.”
You don’t know what to say, so he keeps going.
“I wasn't always like this. Wasn’t always... this thing you see now.”
You shift slightly in his arms, but his hold keeps you anchored. He exhales sharply and looks away. Not because he’s ashamed—because the memory still burns. Your heart tugs at the expression on his beautiful face. Tortured. Pained.
“Two hundred fifty years ago,” he begins, “I was a general. Loyal to the court. Feared on the battlefield. A war dog for men in silk robes who never dirtied their hands.” You feel his fingers twitch against your back, like he’s gripping a blade only he can see.
“I bled for them. Killed for them. And the moment I became inconvenient, they left me to die in the mud. A spear through my gut. My men gone. My name forgotten.” His jaw tightens. You can hear the snarl he’s holding back.
“I would’ve died. But I begged. Not to the heavens—because the heavens never answered me. I begged whatever thing was listening in the dark.” He turns his face, voice like ash. “And Gwi Ma answered.” He’s silent for a beat. Your breath catches.
“I didn’t die,” he says bitterly. “But I wasn’t human anymore either.” You feel his body tense beneath you as he continues, slower this time. “I wandered. Fed on pain. Destroyed anything that looked like mercy. Until I collapsed outside a village. Thought maybe I’d die for real.”
He goes still. “And then you found me.”
Your heart stutters. His voice goes softer. Fragile, like something made of glass. “You were a healer. Young. Too good. Too gentle. You knew I wasn’t right. You saw the glow in my eyes, felt the heat in my skin—but you stayed anyway.”
Your throat tightens. “You stitched my wounds. You made me soup. You made me laugh. And I didn’t even remember how.”
His voice breaks. “You reminded me I used to be human. I think… you made me want to be one again.”
You say nothing. Just hold onto him tighter and let him tell you the story of how he came to be this way. You wished you remembered- like last night with Jinu. You wished you could share his pain.
“When bandits came, I snapped. I didn’t even think. I just—protected you. The village. Everyone.” A pause. “But I lost control. The fire… it spread.”
Your blood goes cold.
“You died in my arms, Y/N. Crying. You told me you weren’t afraid. That you knew I tried to protect you.” He swallows. “But that doesn’t matter. Because I still killed you.”
You feel his hand press flat against your back like he could memorize the shape of you all over again. He tilts his forehead to yours, voice raw and trembling.
“I’d die a thousand times before I ever let that happen again.” Abby’s voice is barely a whisper. “And so I’m sorry… if you think I’m too much. I just—” He swallows hard, jaw trembling. “I can’t bear the thought of failing you again. Of standing by while the world takes you from me a second time.”
His hand moves to your cheek, thumb brushing under your eye like he’s memorizing every freckle, every blink. “I’ve spent centuries reliving that moment,” he murmurs. “Centuries regretting every second I didn’t hold you tighter. Protect you harder. Love you more.”
You feel the weight in his touch—the devotion that borders on madness. He’s looking at you like you’re the only thing anchoring him to the world.
And maybe you are.
His arms are still wrapped around you. His heartbeat loud against your ear. You feel his chest rise and fall—deep, like he’s trying to calm a storm. There’s a long silence before he speaks again, voice low against your hair.
“…There’s something I want you to know,” he murmurs. “My name. My real one. From before.”
You lift your head, eyes searching his. He looks almost… shy. No—vulnerable. Like this is the final part of himself he’s never dared to offer.
“I wasn’t always ‘Abby.’ That’s just a stage name. I find it kind of funny actually” He chuckles lightly, brushing a strand of hair behind your ear.
You nod gently, your hand resting against his bare chest. “So tell me,” you whisper.
He swallows. “It was Haneul,” he says. “That was my name, when I was still human.”
Haneul. The sound lingers on your tongue like silk and smoke. You let it roll in your mouth before saying it aloud:
“…Haneul.”
He shudders.
It’s so soft, the reaction—so raw. His grip tightens around you instinctively. His lips part like you just breathed life into him. “Say it again,” he whispers. “Please. Say it again.”
You lean in, brushing your lips to his cheek. “Haneul.”
A sharp breath escapes him. His eyes flutter shut, lashes trembling. You kiss the corner of his eye, your voice barely audible.
“Haneul.”
He exhales like he’s unraveling, hands fisting into your waist to keep himself steady. To keep you close. Like the name is both breaking him and putting him back together.
You kiss the other cheek, so softly he nearly flinches from how much it hurts. “Haneul.”
And then—just before your lips meet his—you say it again. For him. Only him.
“Haneul.”
He snaps.
Abby—Haneul—surges forward and devours you in a kiss. It’s not gentle. It’s not tame. It’s a claiming, centuries in the making. His mouth slants over yours with aching hunger, hands pulling you into his lap like you belong there, like you’ve always belonged there.
You do.
And he kisses you like your voice saying his name was the only salvation left in the world. And maybe… maybe it was. He groans against your mouth, like the feel of you hurts.
His hands tremble as they cradle your face, your neck, your back—as if he still doesn’t believe you’re real. You feel his restraint—barely holding himself back, like if he slips for even a second, he’ll ruin everything. But it’s all so gentle. Worshipful. Like he’s afraid you’ll vanish if he loves you too hard.
His shirt comes off in a rush of movement, as if it was the last thing keeping him distant. You press your palms to his bare chest—warm, solid, steady—and he shudders beneath your touch.
He lowers you both to the bed again, but this time you’re tangled together. Your legs brush. His skin grazes yours and he gasps like it burns in the best way.
He leans in, lips brushing your throat. He murmurs your name there like a prayer. Like a curse. Like a lifeline.
“I’ll never let anyone touch you,” he whispers, breath hot. “I don’t care who I have to kill. I don’t care if the world calls me a monster. If it means keeping you safe, I’ll be all of it.”
You feel your heart trip over itself. It should scare you. But it doesn’t. Because when he looks at you, when he touches you like this… it doesn’t feel like obsession. It feels like truth.
Your fingers slide into his hair, clutching like he’s the only thing holding you together. He leans into your touch like he’s starving for it.
“Say you forgive me,” he chokes. “Say I’m not too late.”
You meet his gaze—and it’s everything. Burning. Desperate. Holy. And so full of ruinous love it steals the air from your lungs.
“You’re not too late,” you whisper, voice cracking. “I’m here.”
And Abby—no, Haneul.
Haneul lets out a sound you’ve never heard from him before. A small, broken thing. A sob and a breath all at once. Then he kisses you again—deeper, slower, like the world’s ending and this is the only moment that matters. His hands press into your waist like he’s grounding himself there. Like you are his redemption. His punishment. His salvation. And for the first time in centuries… Haneul lets himself believe he might deserve to hold you again.
Your fingers ghost over his chest, and he shivers. The planes of his body are carved like stone beneath your hands, warm and trembling under your touch—as if you’re something sacred, something he never thought he’d feel again.
Your lips part from his only to trail down the sharp line of his jaw, to the tense muscle of his neck. You kiss him softly there, and he lets out a hiss through his teeth. It’s the kind of sound that curls heat through your spine. You don’t stop. You kiss lower, slow and reverent, letting your lips brush the warm skin of his throat. He tips his head back, helpless.
“Haneul,” you murmur, pressing your lips to his collarbone.
He groans. His entire body bows toward you like he’s being pulled by gravity. Like your voice is the only anchor in a world he no longer trusts. You trail your hands down the ridges of his chest, the faint scars of old wounds hidden beneath his skin. He watches you, eyes wild with devotion.
“I dreamed of your hands,” he whispers hoarsely. “I used to wake up clawing at my own skin because I missed the way you touched me.”
You kiss the center of his chest and feel his heart stutter beneath your lips. His hands slide beneath your shirt now, palms warm, reverent as they explore your waist like he’s memorizing the shape of you. He ducks his head to your neck, brushes his lips down the slope of it—and then kisses the spot where your pulse flutters.
You gasp. And that’s all it takes.
A low growl tears from his throat and he bites—not hard, but enough to claim. Enough to make you gasp again, and this time his name spills from your lips like it’s the only thing you know.
His breath is ragged now, and his control is slipping. “Say it again,” he begs, lips against your throat. “Just once more.”
“Haneul,” you moan, and the way he shudders beneath you is almost violent. You feel the darkness curling at the edge of him—the demon just beneath the surface, the possessive, desperate thing that would burn kingdoms for you. But he holds it back.
His forehead presses to yours. Your breath mingles. Your chests rise and fall in perfect sync. His thumb brushes along your cheek as he cradles you like you’re made of glass and starlight.
His voice is low. Gravel and longing. “I’ll wait,” he breathes, fingers curling possessively around your waist. “As long as you need. But don’t think for a second I won’t claim you. One way or another, you’re mine.”
You stare at him. At the burn in his eyes. The way his body shakes beneath your touch—not from fear, but from restraint. Centuries of guilt. Of hunger. Of aching to be close and never having the right.
“I do want you,” you whisper, lips brushing his. “Just… not all at once.”
His eyes flutter shut. His jaw clenches like he’s holding back something feral. “Then I’ll take what you give,” he murmurs, lips brushing your temple. “And I’ll make you crave the rest.”
He kisses your cheek. Then the corner of your mouth. Then rests his forehead to yours—your breath, your warmth, your heartbeat the only thing grounding him. And in that silence, in the hush of your skin against his, you feel the bond ignite again—hotter now, needier. A thread wrapped around your ribs, pulling tighter. Claiming.
No more running. Not from him. Not from this.
Just you. In his lap. In his arms.
Exactly where he’s always known you belong.

A/N: Huahh Abby or (Haneul) got his turn! I wanted to give them each real names and not just stage names. I chose Haneul for Abby because it means “sky” or “heaven.” It’s poetic, gentle, and deeply symbolic. It's meant to tie into Abby’s protector nature — someone who once soared high as a general but fell and now claws his way back for the one he loves. His love is vast, all-encompassing, eternal — like the sky. And there’s an irony too: he fell from grace (heaven to hell), yet his name remains a tether to what he once was.
Let me know if you guys enjoyed this one! Comments, Likes, Reposts, I see them all and really appreciate all the support! Till Next Time!

Imagine Being Isekai'ed into KPOP DEMON HUNTERS. (part 6)
Tumblr media
SO, IIDEK WHAT TO PUT AS SUMMARY BUT LOWKEY HUNTR/X X Y/N! Also, we get some Mystery backstory here! (Also if you wanna hear some bad covering of Your Idol here it is
IDOl
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5
‘Technically we didn't follow you, we overheard you. We just happened to be in the vicinity of the conversation.’ Beom looked up to the left, refusing to meet Y/N’s eyes.
‘Y’know you can’t always get out of things by being cute. It doesn’t work that way.’ Y/N rolled her eyes, slumping onto the sofa face first. Watching their debut stage had really taken it out of her. Especially that walk back from the Huntr/x tower.
‘I’m cute?’ Beom’s eyes lit up, as if he were a puppy that had just been given a treat. Y/N could swear she saw a tail wagging behind Beom.
Was this what was known as the natural charm of a youngest group member? Even so, this man was over two huundred years old… Did demons mature in the underworld? Was it even possible to grow? Were they like vampires, just stuck mentally at their age forever? Y/N's mind whirled with unanswered questions.
‘I’m not repeating it.’ Y/N rolled her eyes, unlocking her phone. ‘Well, what's the plan? You have that variety show in about an hour.’
‘Well, seeing as the demon hunters know we have a shooting tonight, they’re probably gonna try to kill us after we finish.’ Jinu shrugged, he twisted the cap off an energy drink and passed it to Y/N.
‘Thanks.’ She smiled, sipping the drink.
‘Would you be upset if we killed them?’ Min tilted his head, seated in Y/N’s gaming chair. Although the man's light purple hair was obscuring his eyes, Y/N could tell he was looking at her.
‘Yes, very.’ Y/N answered quickly, taking another swig of her drink.
‘Hm, okay.’ Min turned his head to Rae. ‘Looks like it’ll be a change of plans then.’
‘YOU GUYS WERE PLANNING ON KILLING THEM?’ Y/N stood up, pointing her fingers at the plotting boys.
‘Well they were planning to kill us too.’ Abel shrugged, handing out pink clothing to the group.
‘Aw man, not pink again.’ Jinu groaned, holding his shirt as far away from himself as he could possibly.
‘You said you looked good in any colour.’ Y/N laughed, pointing her drink bottle at him.
‘Ugh, that doesn't mean I have to like the colour.’ Jinu grumbled, lifting his shirt over his head.
‘HEY, I’M STILL IN THE ROOM.’ Y/N squawked, turning around, only to be met with the four other shirtless men in the middle of changing. The girl quickly covered her eyes with her hands, squatting down in embarrassment.
‘Oh, sorry. Bad habit.’ Jinu said from behind her. ‘I’m decent now.’
Y/N peeked out of her fingers up at the voice, seeing a guilty looking Jinu.
‘I should have warned you. My bad.’ He stuck out his hand to which Y/N grasped.
Y/N let herself be tugged up, as the rest of the boys finished changing their shirts.
‘Okay, time for pants.’ Rae handed out jeans, each in a different shade of pink.
‘I’M GOING TO MY ROOM, TELL ME WHEN YOU GUYS ARE DONE.’ Y/N sprinted into her bedroom door, slamming it shut behind her.
‘She’s so cute, I could just eat her.’ Min remarked, zipping himself up.
‘Huh.’ Beom turned around.
‘Isn’t that what the young people say about cute things? I could eat it?’ Min sat back down in the chair, shrugging his shoulders.
‘No you old man, I could just eat her up. You need to add the ‘up’ or it just sounds like you wanna take her soul.’ Beom shook his head, brushing off the lint on his jumper.
‘Huh, alright, noted.’ Min gave a quiet laugh, leaning back in the chair with his arms raised.
They boys had insisted on bringing Y/N along with them, saying that they needed a fake manager.
They somehow had no manager but they had a typical van that Idols would use to travel. Y/N could see that someone was driving the car but she had never seen the man before today.
The boys were jabbering about how they would introduce themselves at the variety show and what they would do. They were sat in pairs, Jinu and Beom and Abel with Rae, leaving Min to sit next to Y/N.
‘If you don’t have a manager, how in the world are you pulling all of this off?’ Y/N blanched, ‘And if you don’t even have a manager, do you have a company? How did you even release Soda Pop?’
‘Hypnosis, we can make anyone do our bidding. Why do you think this person’s driving the car?’ Min leaned down whispering in her ear, his face close to Y/N’s.
‘I’ve been meaning to ask. Can you even see?’ Y/N reached up, fingertips just brushing Min’s purple hair-
‘Not really.’ Min abruptly grasped Y/N’s hand, gripping it tightly.
‘Ow.’
‘Sorry.’ Min released Y/N’s wrist in an instant. ‘I…’
‘It’s ok. I shouldn’t have-’
‘No. It’s my fault. I’m just… I have a thing about my face.’ Min sighed, turning away as the rest of the boys continued their conversations, unaware as to the situation in the back seat.
‘Does it have something to do with your deal with Gwi-ma?’ Y/N slid her hands underneath her legs, kicking her feet slightly.
‘Yeah. It does.’ Min said, resting his chin on his fist. Y/N looked down at her feet, waiting for the man next to her to elaborate.
‘I had leprosy.’ Min said in a hushed whisper. ‘It was bad. It started with my hands and feet but it spread. The disease always spreads until eventually… I became blind.’
‘Oh…’
‘It was the fourteenth century so there was no cure and I had no family.’ Min sighed, turning to look at Y/N, hair still obscuring his face. ‘I was begging in the street, stumbling around blind when a group of men beat me with sticks, telling me to do them a favour and just die.’
‘Assholes.’ Y/N grumbled, crossing her arms.
‘Yes, they were.’ Min chuckled at her reaction, putting a reassuring hand on Y/N’s shoulder before continuing. ‘And that was when I first heard Gwi-ma, whispering in my ear.’
‘What did he offer you?’ Y/N blinked, not noticing that the entire car had gone quiet.
‘He said he could take away my scars and help me get revenge on those who had wronged me.’ Min laughed, resting his head against his seat. ‘Now that I think about it, it was such a shallow deal. I barely got anything from it.’
‘You were hurting. Vulnerable.’
‘I was weak.’ Min shook his head, seemingly disappointed in himself.
‘Men have killed for less.’ Y/N noted, as the car slowed to a stop.
‘You’re right about that one I guess.’ Min chuckled, unbuckling Y/N from her seat before doing his own.
‘I honestly thought you were just hiding a big ass forehead.’ Y/N shrugged, stepping out of the car, following the rest of the boys into the studio.
‘HAH! I’ll have you know I was quite handsome before I got that stupid disease.’ Y/N could practically hear Min rolling his eyes.
‘Yeah yeah… Wait, fourteenth century… You have to be the oldest!’ Y/N bounced along, passing through the doors leading into the set.
‘Such a smart girl.’ Min hummed, leaning down.
‘Uh…’
Min smirked, combing back his bangs with one hand, revealing his face for a second. Y/N was stunned, eyes lingering on Min’s own ones.
He really was beautiful.
Hell, people would go to war for a face like that, regardless of Min being a man.
‘Wow.’ Y/N blinked, eyes bugged wide.
‘Hm, maybe Gwi-ma really did do me a favour.’ Min continued to smirk, letting his hair fall back into place, turning to walk onto the stage where the rest of the boys were filing onto.
‘Um-’
‘We’ll talk after the show.’ Min lifted Y/N’s chin gently, looking down at her through his hair.
‘Okay…’
‘That’s our girl.’ Min smiled, releasing her chin before walking onto stage with the rest of the boys.
‘Holy crap…’ Y/N gaped.
Min’s face was like nothing she’d ever seen. Imagine the most handsome man you knew, married the most beautiful woman on earth and had a baby. Not even then would that child compare to Min.
‘Huh, no wonder Zoey said he was just her type.’ Y/N mused, watching the hosts introduce the boys.
‘Who’s my type?’ A voice chimed in, merging into Y/N’s thoughts.
‘Zoey?’ Y/N spun around to face the three Hunt/x girls.
‘Twice in one day, aren’t we lucky.’ Mira smiled, wrapping an arm around Y/N’s shoulder.
‘Why are you here? Are you scouting out the competition?’ Rumi gave the ghost writer a tight hug, her leather outfit squeaking quietly.
‘Uh, actually I’m-’
‘Oh, OH! Maybe Y/N can watch us take out these demons! She’s never gone with us on a mission before!’ Zoey interrupted, her eyes wide and pleading.
Holy crap Zoey was good at puppy dog eyes. Y/N flickered her gaze between the boys who were now chugging hot sauce, for some reason, to Zoey’s begging eyes.
‘Okay, I’ll watch.’ Y/N agreed, unsure of how this would go down. In the original story this was where Jinu would see Rumi's patterns but... He already knew and so did the rest of the girls.
Rumi cheered quietly, ‘Great! Once they come off the stage, we’ll jump down for the attack!’
‘These boys will be-
‘Done, done, done!’ Zoey finished, as the girls let out evil giggles, as they climbed the steps behind the set, peeking over the set.
Y/N watched on nervously as Beom let out the most sarcastic ‘Goo goo, ga ga’ She’d ever heard in her life.
‘Oh boy…’ Y/N mumbled, glancing between the girls and her demon boyband.
‘Hard to goodbye when we’re having so much fun!’ One of the hosts said into the mic.
‘So hard! So hard…’ The other said, shaking his head in mock sadness.
Jinu took the mic, sending a little smirk to the side wings where Y/N was watching.
Oh no.
What was this man planning?
‘Then why say goodbye when we have an extra special guest coming up?’ He addressed the audience, guesting backstage.
‘What is he up to?’ Y/N mumbled, watching him walk towards her.
‘Oh HELL NO.’ She said, turning to run as Jinu grabbed the back of her collar.
‘Say hello to our writer and producer, Y/N!!’ Jinu cried out, practically dragging her on stage.
‘Ah haha- hi!’ Y/N waved awkwardly as the spotlights partially blinded her. The cheering from the crowd surprised her, as she squinted under the lights.
‘We have her to thank for writing our debut song!’ Abel smiled, as the rest of the boys came to stand around her.
‘Yeah! Thanks Y/N!’ Beom called out, as the group began to bow at her.
‘Wow so hot and respectful!’ The audience cheered, as the boys bowed.
‘Oh no… It was my pleasure.’ Y/N bowed back.
‘No really it was ours!’ The boys folded completely in half as Y/N gaped, shifting her eyes to see an angry looking Huntr/x on the side.
‘Well! That's all we have time for today!’ The hosts called, as the curtains began to close. ‘See you next time! Play Games With Us!’
‘What the hell was that?!'
‘Sorry Y/N, hold on tight!’ Abel smiled, lifting Y/N over his shoulder as the Saja Boys began to run out the back exit.
‘Y/N!’ The girls called, chasing after them, concern etched on the girl’s faces.
‘Girls!’ Y/N called out, stretching her hand out as the door swung shut in front of her.
The boys ran into the bathhouse, Y/N slumped over Abel's shoulder as the girls spotted Y/N still being carried off.
‘Over there! Let’s get our Y/N back!’
‘Aw man, we were just in a bathhouse this morning.’ Mira groaned, running along with the girls.
The girls opened the bathhouse door, peeking out one by one.
‘Aw man, it's a men’s bathhouse.’ Rumi whined, spotting half naked men.
‘Wow, did you guys really follow us in here?’ Jinu rolled his eyes, knowing damn well Huntr/x followed because they had taken Y/N with them.
‘Of course they did, that one’s always looking at our Y/N.’ Abel snarked, jumping slightly to bounce Y/N on his shoulder, receiving an oomf from the flopped over girl.
‘Give us back our Y/N!’ Zoey brandished her throwing knives.
‘You think we’re just gonna let you steal our Y/N and our fans?’ Rumi snarled, gripping her sword tightly. ‘You’re gonna have to fight us for both!’
‘Yeah, keep your hands off our girl.’ Mira backed Rumi up, lifting her moon blade.
‘Heh, we’re not here to fight.’ Jinu shrugged, splaying his arms, as demons rose from the hot baths. ‘They are.’
‘Water demons.’ Rumi narrowed her eyes.
‘Oh great. My favourite.’ Mira cheered sarcastically, eyes darting to count how many were now slowly surrounding the group.
‘Get rid of the hunters. Then, you can eat all the souls you want.’ Jinu smirked, placing a hand on the water demon in front of him.
‘Rumi!’ Y/N called out, as the rest of the boys ran through the bathhouse, leaving Huntr/x behind.
‘Have fun!’ Jinu ran out, almost slipping on a puddle of water. 'Ah crap.'
Zoey and Mira were slashing through the demons, killing several each second.
‘GO get back Y/N!’ Mira called out to Rumi, slicing through a group of demons.
‘But there's so many!’ Rumi protested, twisting away from a pair of demon claws.
‘Y/N’s alone with them, we need to go get her!’ Zoey threw her daggers, hitting two in the face.
‘GO rumi! We’ll catch up.’ Mira called out, flipping through the air and slamming her blade into the ground, causing a wave of the demons to be vaporised.
‘Okay!’ Rumi flipped over a demon, rushing toward the door that she had seen the boys run through.
‘You promised you wouldn’t kill them. Y/N protested, still being carried by Abel.
‘Technically, we’re not.’ Jinu giggled, running forward, oblivious to Rumi advancing behind him.
‘Gimmie back my Y/N!’ Rumi slashed at the man with her sword, catching his shirt slightly as Jinu ducked almost too late.
‘‘She’s mine.’ Jinu snarled, throwing a bucket at Rumi. He jumped as he slashed at Rumi’s arm with his claws, cutting a piece of her clothing off her arm, drawing blood.
‘AH.’ Rumi cried out, clutching at her arm.
The wall burst open, Mira and Zoey had kicked a demon straight through.
‘Rumi!’ Y/N called out, reaching toward her, as she was carried further away. Jinu turned at the sound of Y/N’s voice, snapping him out of his violent haze.
'DON'T HURT HER.' Y/N cried out, her frustration leaking into her voice.
‘Better help your friends. They look like they need it.’ Jinu smirked, running towards the exit without a second glance.
‘Y/N!’ Rumi shouted desperately as she slashed through the demons that were still emerging from the bathhouse pools.
‘I’ve never seen the Honmoon like this before! There are tears everywhere!’ Zoey threw her knives, each finding their mark.
‘I think it’s because the Saja Boys are stealing the fans! It’s weakening the Honmoon!’ Mira grunted as she stuck her spear into the ground, allowing Rumi to swing on it to gain momentum.
The girls panted with exertion as they finally cleared out the room.
‘What are you doing here! This is the men's bathhouse!’ An elderly man grouched, shooing the girls away as they apologised profusely.
‘Hmph.’ The man sat down on his stool, going back to scrubbing his arms.
‘My little soda pop.’ The man hummed, as a water demon arose silently from the waterbucket, inhaling the mans soul.
Y/N groaned, as Abel finally let her down as the elevator doors opened.
‘I think I'm carsick.’
‘I’m not a car…’
‘Whatever, Y/N shook her head, steadying herself. ‘Jinu you hurt Rumi!’
‘She literally tried to take my head off Y/N.’ Jinu rolled his eyes, crossing his arms defiantly.
‘But she didn’t.’ Y/N protested, gesturing wildly before stumbling, putting her hand on her head.
Jinu was at her side in an instant, clutching at the arms gently.
‘Tired?’ Jinu’s tone changed from annoyance to worrisome in a flash. ‘If you want, I can whip up something quick. Or you can go to sleep now.’
‘Just a headache, I think the all-nighters are catching up with me.’ Y/N slowly sat down on the couch with Jinu’s help.
“Can we get you anything Y/N?’ Rae kneeled down next to her, checking her forehead temperature. ‘Your forehead is a little warm Do you have any medication at home?'
'It'd all probably be out of date.' Y/N shook her head, laying down on her side, face against the couch cushions as the boys fussed over her.
‘Did she eat lunch?’
‘No I don’t think so.’
‘Should we-’
‘Mm, need to shower…’ Y/N whined, burying her face further into the couch cushion.
‘Okay, come on. Up we get.’ Abel heaved Y/N into his arms bridal style. Y/N grouched, her eyes closed as she shifted in the demon’s well built arms, smushing her face into his chest.
Jinu raised his eyebrows, watching his biggest friend turn slowly bright pink in the face.
‘Heh, look at Abel, he’s blushing.’ Beom jeered, pointing.
‘Shut up. Don’t act like you wouldn’t be the exact same way if she was doing it to you.’ Abel spat out quietly. Beom in return, held up his hands in mock surrender.
‘You slipped in before I could!’
‘You snooze, you lose.’ Abel stuck out his tongue, walking towards the bathroom, separate from her ensuite. ‘Hey, are you sure you’ll be able to stay awake while you shower?’
‘Can I just sleep?’ Y/N groaned, shifting into a more comfortable position in Abel’s arms.
‘You said you wanted to shower.’ Abel hummed, finding his way to Y/N’s room instead.
‘Here, lay her down and I’ll wipe her face.’ Min appeared behind, holding a wet towel, doused in warm water.
As Abel slowly (and reluctantly) detangled Y/N’s limbs from his own, Min gently rubbed Y/N’s cheeks with the towel. Abel turned to go turn off the bedroom light so Y/N wouldn’t squint.
‘Y’know, I think-’ Suddenly Min disappeared in a puff of smoke.
‘Wot?’ Abel blinked, looking at the empty space where Min was, now replaced by the wet towel on the floor.
‘Uhh, Abel?’ Beom came into the room, looking confused. ‘Jinu 형 (hyung) and all the others just poofed.’
‘Wait, did Gwi-ma just take them back?’ Abel blinked, looking at Y/N who was now out cold in her bed.
‘I think so… their patterns were glowing.’  Beom mumbled from behind his fist, looking confused. But, we didn’t get taken. Why?’
‘Could it be?..’
Both boys turned to look at the sleeping girl, who was now drooling slightly.
‘Mm, ramen…’ Y/N mumbled, before turning over in the bed.
‘Did she-’
‘It couldn’t be..’
Meanwhile the boys had been pulled back, slamming into the ground as they landed.
'Saja Boys! Saja Boys!’ The demons chanted, looking at the group, waving lightsticks around.
The boys looked around, slightly irritated that they were no longer in Y/N’s apartment.
‘Wait where’s-’ Jinu began, before being interrupted by a loud shout from a demon in the crowd.
‘Look! Souls incoming!’
And they were. Streaking across the sky were blue lights, finding their place in the fire behind three of Saja Boys.
‘My little soda pop.’ The flames hummed, ‘It’s catchy.’
‘Surprisingly your little plan is working.’ Gwi-ma said, almost as a challenge.
‘I know. So lemme get back to work and you’ll be feasting in no time.’ Jinu plastered a fake smile, a charming one nonetheless.
‘Except, two of your friends. I can no longer see them. Are they dead?’
‘Yes.’ Jinu answered, thinking quickly, ‘But we’ll kill all of the hunters before they get the rest of us.’
Gwi-ma was wrong about them being dead, but he was right about not controlling the boys. Abel and Beom had not been dragged back to the underworld with the rest of the group. Jinu knew they weren’t dead but… How come they weren’t here? How had they escaped Gwi-ma’s control?
‘I’ve taught you well Jinu.’ The giant flame chuckled as the Saja Boys disappeared again, into a puff of pink smoke.
As the boys reappeared in Y/N’s apartment, the doorbell began to ring. Jinu frowned, turn around to see that the Huntr/x girls were covered in scratches, waiting to be buzzed up on the monitor.
‘Go wakeup Y/N.’ Jinu said, ‘Tell her the hunters are here. Abel and Beom, we need to talk.’
As the boys slinked into one of Y/N’s spare rooms. Rae knocked on Y/N’s door before opening, knowing that the girl would sleep through the knocking.
‘Y/N? The Huntr/x girls are here, they’re waiting to be buzzed in.’ He gently shook the shoulder of the sleeping girl.
‘Wha?’ Y/N rasped, turning over to face Rae.
‘Huntr/x is down stairs.’
‘Oh my gosh!’ Y/N sat up immediately, flinging her covers back and slipping her flip flip’s on. She rushed to buzz them in, before looking around her apartment.
‘Where’d the boys go? Doesn’t matter, you guys have to hide! Go in-’ Y/N opened her spare room to see the rest of the Saja Boys, already hiding in the room.
‘Uh, we’ll be in here as you guys talk.’ Beom gave a hopeful smile.
‘Do you guys ever go back to your own apartment?’ Y/N slapped a hand to her forehead.
‘No not really.’ Min shook his head.
‘We only got it because-’
‘We’ll talk later. The room is soundproofed but still be quiet!’ Y/N closed the door, just as the elevator began to beep happily.
‘Y/N!’ Rumi rushed forward checking Y/N all over, a teddy bear band aid covering her cheek.
‘Y/N you’re safe!’ Zoey rushed forward, pulling Y/N into a hug.
‘We were so worried.’ Mira sighed, walking forward, holding a bag.
‘Girls, I’m sorry. I really am the writer of their music.’
‘It’s okay. They must have forced you into it.’ Rumi shook her head, guiding Y/N to the kitchen island. ‘Come on, sit. You probably haven’t eaten all day!’
Y/N’s stomach gurgled loudly in reply.
Traitor.
‘Erm.’ Y/N rubbed her neck in embarrassment. ‘How did you guys know?’
‘You never eat if you’re working and today was…’ Zoey trailed off.
‘Y/N, are you okay?’ Mira set down the bag of kimbap before rummaging through the cupboard to find a plate.
‘Yeah, you must have been so scared.’ Rumi touched a hand to Y/N’s shoulder.
‘No, Rumi are you okay? Your arm, did you disinfect it before you bandaged it?’ Y/N hurriedly lifted Rumi’s shirt sleeve, relieved to see a bandage wrapped around it. The purple haired girl had been wearing shorter sleeves since she had told the rest of the girls about her patterns.
‘Yeah, I’m fine. I’ve had worse.’ Rumi smiled, looking content. ‘We’ve all had a lot worse.’
‘Still…’ Y/N frowned, putting her head in her hands. ‘I don’t want you guys getting hurt. I don’t want the Saja Boys to take souls either-’
‘Y/N calm down, we know you have your reasons, whatever they may be.’ Mira hushed Y/N, sliding a plate of kimbap toward her.
‘But-’
‘We trust you.’
‘But we do need to get our fans back. Have you seen the Honmoon? I’ve never seen it so bad.’ Zoey sighed, resting her head on her arms face down.
‘We could record What It Sounds Like! That’ll be-
‘No, I have a better song!’ Y/N dashed toward her gaming set up, snatching up her book. ‘It’s called Takedown!’
‘Oh?’ Rumi hummed, giving the rest of Huntr/x a knowing smile. ‘Our Y/N’s a musical genius isn’t she.’
‘No. It’s you guys, you inspire me so much!’ Y/N flipped the pages to Takedown. ‘Let me know what you think!’
The girls gathered around the notebook, scanning the lyrics.
‘Break you into pieces in a world of pain, cause you’re all the same?’ Mira muttered, flipping through the pages.
‘Wow, Y/N, if you wrote a love song for me, I think I’d fall in love with you.’ Rumi cocked her head, giving Y/N a smile that she couldn’t place.
‘Rumi, focus.’ Mira laughed, patting the purple haired girl on the shoulder. ‘You can flirt with our girl when we grind these Saja Boys into the dust.’
A thump came from inside the spare bedroom.
The huntr/x girls didn’t hear it but, Y/N swear she heard someone make a noise of protest.
‘This is exactly what we need.’ Rumi nodded in approval, flicking through the lyrics. ‘We have two weeks until the Idol Awards. We’ll release the song then! Is that enough time? I don’t want you to overwork yourself Y/N.’
‘I’ll be fine! I just have to do Takedown and What It Sounds Like.’ Y/N nodded enthusiastically.
‘You don’t have to do both Y/N.’ Zoey fretted, as Y/N moved to go boot up her PC.
‘But if you release both, you can do it as a joint stage! You could make the Honmoon golden! Fix all the cracks!’ Y/N bounced in her seat, pulling up her digital audio station.
‘Y/N, if you overwork yourself you’ll get sick. If you think you can do it, go ahead, but make sure you’re getting enough rest.’ Rumi laid a hand on Y/N’s shoulder, her tone was akin to an owner scolding their puppy.
‘I can do it!’ Y/N pouted, looking up at Rumi.
‘Alright then.’ Rumi sighed, laughing quietly. ‘You’re so cute when you’re excited, it’s hard to say no to you.’
‘Right? I could just keep her in my pocket!’ Zoey sat down gazing at Y/N while she slid on her headphones, testing out her midi controller.
She had since forgotten the Saja Boys in her spare room, now focusing on replicating the beat in her head, using a thick bass sound to replicate the electro punk sound.
'Hey, can you guys stay so I can get a few recordings?' Y/N stared into the computer, frowning as she adjusted her mic settings for the girls.
'Yeah sure!'
'Perfect.'
The girls worked into the night, making a rough version of Takedown for Y/N to edit.

The Crimson Pact | Part 3
Characterizations | Part 1 | Part 2
Tumblr media
SoulBond!AU
Pairings: Yandere!Saja Boys x F!Reader
Synopsis: You were never supposed to remember them.
Four hundred years ago, a pact was made—a blood-soaked bond tying five demons to one human soul: yours.
They’ve waited lifetimes for your reincarnation, cursed with obsession, tethered by fate.
And now that you’ve returned?
They’ll burn the world before they let you go again.
Warnings: Soul bond with the Saja Boys, Yandere themes!, obsessive behavior / possessiveness, romantic psychological tension, mentions of implied past death / reincarnation, intense emotional fixation, yearning, dark romance, comfort and control, hurt/comfort (if you squint)
A/N: Reading all your comments and reblogs always makes me smile! This part is a bit longer than the rest. I wanted to focus on building her trust and relationship with the boys, so there will be much more interactions and intimacy than the previous parts. I hope you all enjoy!

Part 3:
If You Stay
You don’t remember falling asleep. But you remember waking up.
The guest room is dim, wrapped in soft shadows, the silk sheets pulled up to your chin. The faint scent of rain and cedar lingers in the air—Jinu, you think distantly. It clings to your skin like a memory. One you shouldn’t have.
You must’ve fallen asleep after your talk with the boys in the afternoon. You’d admit, that did take a toll on you, and you were still feeling quite unwell from yesterday’s events. Hangovers don't just go away in a few hours. One of the boys must’ve carried you in here.
You sit up slowly. Your headache from earlier is gone. But something inside still hums. A weight behind your ribs. A tugging sensation that pulses faintly… toward them.
You still had too many questions you needed answers to. They said they were demons, so why are they here? They didn’t look like demons. They were sinfully beautiful, so you assume that definitely plays a part in it. Why did they sell their souls to Gwi Ma? Who was this Gwi Ma? Who were you to each of them in your past life? Just how many past lives have you had exactly?
And most importantly, if they were demons hundreds of years old, why in the flying fuck are they in a K-pop idol group?
There’s a knock at the door, ceasing your thoughts. You freeze. But it doesn’t open.
“Y/N?” It’s Romance’s voice, low and careful. “Dinner’s ready. If you’re hungry.”
You don’t answer right away.
Not because you don’t want to. But because you’re afraid of what it means that you do. Still—you follow the sound.
The dining room is too elegant for six people. The table could seat twelve, But only one side is set—six seats arranged close together. The lighting is warm, soft. As if they’d planned for comfort. For your nerves.
The boys are already seated. But they all rise the moment they see you. Romance is the first to move, pulling out your chair with a slow, exaggerated flourish. “Right here, angel.”
You meet his eyes and you feel the pull again. He’s looking at you with the most tender expression. Like you’re the most precious thing in the world to him.
And you were.
Plates are filled before you can ask. Abby gently sets a bowl of soup in front of you—your favorite kind. You don’t remember telling them that. You’re not even sure you remember liking it until the smell hits you. Baby places a glass of water before you and you suck in a nervous breath as you feel a light kiss on the crown of your head.
You’d never been treated like this before. Cherished. Not even by your own family. It was so foreign, you doubted it could be real.
But as you gazed at each and every one of them, you could see it in their faces. The quiet relief. The tenderness. Their want to do these things for you. It was a feeling you had to get used to.
You didn’t touch the food right away. You just stared down at the dark wooden table, the linen napkin folded too neatly on your lap, and the spoon resting next to a bowl that smelled like home. If home had five soul-bound demons who watched you breathe.
Jinu watches carefully from across the table. He hasn’t touched his food.
“Eat,” he says quietly. “You’ll need your strength.”
You hesitate.
Romance spoke next. “If you’re waiting for poison, don’t worry. We only do that to each other.”
A faint smile tugged at your lips. It was too much. All of it. You took a small sip. And then another. And the warmth spread to places in you that hadn’t been warm in months. You sighed, strangely feeling so much more at ease.
Romance leans closer. His voice is honey and hooks. “You’re still not feeling well during the day, right?”
You nod. Slowly.
“That’s the bond,” Jinu says. “It’s active. But unstable.”
“The further you are from us,” Abby adds, “the worse it’ll get.”
“I’ve been alone for years,” you mutter, fingers tightening around your spoon. “I’ll be fine.”
“No,” Baby says from the end of the table. Quiet. Sharp. “You won’t.” You flinch at his tone. But it doesn’t feel cruel—just true.
There’s a beat of silence.
Then Romance sets his fork down and places his chin in his palm, eyes glittering in the candlelight. “You’re not a prisoner, you know.”
Your brow furrows.
He smiles. “We’re not keeping you here. But…we did have this place built for you.”
Your eyes snapped to him. "What do you mean you had it built for me?"
Romance’s smile was soft. Too soft. "Darling, this whole place was bought and designed for you. For when we found you. We just live in it."
You blink.
Had they been waiting for you that long? You hadn’t really thought about it before. The logistics of their story hadn’t fully registered.
“You’d have your own space,” Jinu says softly, ever the diplomat. “A guest room. With a lock, if that makes you feel safer.”
Abby immediately frowns. “Why can’t she just stay in her room-room?” he grumbles, arms crossed. “It’s closer to mine.”
Your brows knit together. “Wait. My room?”
Romance’s smile is slow and feline, like he’s been waiting for that moment. “Of course. We had it ready since… well. A while.”
You blink. That didn’t answer your question.
Jinu doesn’t flinch. “Because that room doesn’t have a lock.”
Abby scowls, muttering something under his breath. Romance hums beside you. “Wouldn’t want one anyway.”
You whirl on him. “What was that?”
He holds up both hands in mock surrender, grinning like the devil. “Just saying. But okay, okay—guest room with a lock. For now.”
There’s a silence. Then Mystery murmurs almost too quietly: “…We’d break it if we had to.”
Your stomach twists. They’re joking. You hope they’re joking.
“You wouldn’t be alone,” Mystery pipes again. He’s seated closest to you, his plate untouched. His eyes never leave your hands. He wanted to grasp them. Feel your warmth. Feel your hands massage his hair just as you used to in your past life. He swallowed.
You press your lips together. It’s not that you don’t believe them. It’s that you do. And that terrifies you.
Romance watches the doubt dance across your face. He leans forward, just enough that you’re forced to look at him.
“You don’t have to say yes forever,” he says, voice low and intimate. “Just… stay. For now. Let your body heal. Let the bond stabilize. You don’t even have to talk to us. We’ll keep our distance if that’s what you want.”
At least that’s what she’ll think. Romance thinks to himself. With these guys? Yeah right.
You don’t speak. His voice softens. “You’ve been carrying this alone for so long, haven’t you? You’re getting sick. Dizzy. Faint.”
Your throat tightens.
“You’re tired. You’re having headaches. And we’re the only ones who can ease it. You feel that. So why are you still punishing yourself?”
You try to deny it. To push the tears back. But his words hit something raw. And real.
“I’m not trying to punish myself,” you whisper. “I just… I didn’t ask for this.”
“I know,” he murmurs. “But that doesn’t mean we’ll let you suffer for it.”
"You’ll be safe," Abby added gruffly. "No one touches you here. No one even gets close."
The silence that follows is thick. Your breathing is shallow. Their words registering. Was it really so bad? Letting them care for you? Being here with them. Having them treat you like you’ve never been treated before?
Why were you still fighting it? There was so much you didn’t know, but as of this moment, you did know one thing. That they loved you in your past life. And love you still. Did that count? They yearn for you, and have been for lifetimes. And you knew deep in your heart you were starting to feel the same. Was that really so bad?
To let them in?
They were strangers, but they weren’t. They claim to be yours, so why do you keep questioning it?
Then, slowly—almost in spite of yourself—you nod. “Just… a little while,” you say. “Until I feel better.”
You don’t see the look they share. The way Jinu’s shoulders finally lower. The flicker of possessive triumph behind Romance’s lashes. Or the way Mystery exhales like he’s been holding his breath since the moment you left him last.
You don’t see any of it. But you feel it. The shift. The settling. Something ancient and invisible clicks into place behind your ribs. And you don’t fight it anymore.
The bond sighs.
They insist on collecting your things that night. “We’ll go,” Abby says immediately. “You stay. Rest.”
“No, I—” You start, but Jinu raises a hand. “You’re still weak. If the bond flares while you’re alone, it could be dangerous. Let us.”
You glance between them—five men who could tear the world apart for you—and for once, it feels less like a threat and more like a promise.
“…Okay,” you say quietly. “Just—don’t touch my underwear drawer.”
Romance smirks. “No promises.”
“Romance,” Jinu snaps.
Mystery growls.
You sigh. I guess you did need underwear. “Fine. Just… don’t be creepy.”
Abby winks. “We’ll be fast. Promise.”
As they move, as doors open and shoes slip on, you stay behind with Baby, the silent protector watching your every move. But for some reason, it doesn’t scare you now.
He approaches you, eyes intense and never as wary as the others. Like he’d never be sorry for having you and taking what’s rightfully his. He was silent, but intentional.
He walks you to your room and you shiver as you feel his large hand on your lower back. He holds the door open for you before briefly muttering a faint “Goodnight, sweetheart” and closing the door shut. And for the first time in weeks… You don’t feel sick.
────────── ⚘ ──────────
You sit on the same dining table for breakfast. Jinu had made you some toast sandwiches. The boys looked chirpy. Looks like someone’s in a good mood…
It was still so surreal to them how you were here- having breakfast with them. The very thought of this domestic life with you, caring for you, providing for you like partners almost made them purr in ecstasy.
You were still in Jinu’s hoodie despite all your clothes laying in messy duffle bags, sleeves swallowing your hands, hair slightly damp from a quick shower. It took much restraint from Jinu to not pull you in his arms the moment you walked out of your room.
His hoodie looked right on you. Like it had always belonged there—like you had always belonged there. You didn’t realize it, but every thread of that oversized fabric clung to you like a memory, like a claim. It smelled like him, and that alone made something feral claw beneath his skin.
His jaw tightened as you crossed the room, bare legs brushing against soft fabric. You moved so carelessly, so trusting, not realizing you were walking a tightrope over a thousand years of obsession. Of agony. Of aching need.
You didn’t know he used to dream about this. That centuries ago, he’d wake from nightmares of you slipping through his fingers only to whisper your name into the night. He had waited lifetimes to see you like this again.
And now? Now, you were right there—wrapped in his scent, in his clothes, in his world—but still unsure if you belonged.
He smiled softly as you reached for a mug, but his hands twitched at his sides. He wanted to cage you to his chest, press his lips to your neck, and whisper, “This time, I’ll never let you die.”
He would never let you go again.
They were all quiet around you, letting you eat in peace. It should’ve been normal. It wasn’t.
"Are you going to work today?" Mystery asked, tilting his head.
"...Yes?"
"We don’t think you should go," Jinu said plainly.
You nearly choked on your toast. Say what now? "I have bills."
"You could quit," Romance offered. "Stay here. Rest. Sketch. Paint. Sleep."
You looked at him like he’d grown a second head. Sure, the offer sounded nice—dreamy, even. But it was the kind of nice that belonged in fairytales. People didn’t just quit their jobs and live off vibes and good intentions. In this economy?
You waited for the punchline… but it never came. They were all staring at you—completely serious. Like quitting your job was the obvious solution. Like it was the answer to every problem you’d ever had.
"What would I even do? Just exist as your little house pet?"
Mystery looked hopeful. Abby smiled. You sighed. "No way. I’m not freeloading."
"You could be our assistant," Abby grinned. "Take notes. Carry snacks. Pet Mystery when he gets upset."
"Not happening."
They let it go.
But Romance’s eyes gleamed. Like he was already planning a way to make it so.
After breakfast, you went to your room to change into your work clothes. Stepping out and closing the door firmly, you make your way to the kitchen where Jinu hands you another toast claiming you needed another ‘energy boost’ for the day. You take it in thanks and drown out his last ditch effort to convince you to quit, waving him off with a cute smile that shut him up. You make your way to the entrance and stop in your tracks. Abby, leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, looking far too pleased with himself for 8:30 in the morning. His sweatshirt hung loose over his frame, hood drawn up, but there was no hiding that build. Or that face. Or the smirk that crept up the moment he saw you in your work clothes.
"Hello there, sweetheart," he drawled.
You froze, mid-bite, a piece of toast tragically dangling from your mouth. "...If this is another attempt to get me to quit my job, you can turn right back around."
Abby grinned like the smug menace he was. “Sadly, no. I’ve accepted your tragic refusal of our generous sugar-demon lifestyle.”
He leaned against the doorframe, hands in his hoodie pocket like this was totally normal. “So instead, I’ll be escorting my darling little starshine to work today.”
You blinked. “I’m sorry—your what now?”
“My darling. Little. Starshine,” he repeated, grinning wider with each word.
You deadpan, a blush of pink rising to your cheeks. “Try that again and I’ll call HR.”
He laughed. “Okay, okay. I’m walking you to work. Orders from the Bond Gods. Or Jinu. Same thing, really.”
“You all really expect me to be escorted to work?”
“Yes,” he says simply. “You’re still weak. The bond’s healing you, but slowly. We won’t let you go alone again. Not when you’re like this.”
You hesitate. He steps closer, but not too close. “Let us keep you safe. Just for today.”
“…Fine,” you mutter.
“And tomorrow…”
“Really?”
“And the day after that…”
“Okay, I get it. Fine. But you have to hide.”
He blinks. “Hide?”
“I’m not walking next to Abby from the Saja boys. I’ll be the talk of the entire district. They’ll probably think I’m kidnapped.”
He snorts. “Technically…”
“Abby.”
“Fine, fine.” He pulls his hood lower. “But I draw the line at hiding my abs.”
You roll your eyes. “Just… be normal. Please.”
────────── ⚘ ──────────
Even in a hoodie and mask, he doesn’t look normal. He looks like a movie star trying not to be recognized—and failing. Your coworkers notice him immediately.
“Y/N…” one of the baristas whispers as you clock in. “Who. Is. That.”
You pretend not to hear.
Another coworker giggles. “Is he your boyfriend? Oh my god, did you meet him at the club?”
“No!” you say too quickly.
“But he didn’t come inside with us… where did you meet him then?”
You force a laugh. “He’s just a friend. He’s helping me out since I’ve been sick.”
They seem to buy it—until someone brings up the guy from the other night.
“Hey, what happened to Jae? He said he’d walk you home, but we never heard from him. Did he ghost or something?”
You freeze.
“I, um… ran into someone else before he could. Didn’t see him after that.”
You stare hard at the pastry tray, pretending to adjust the layout. But inside, your stomach twists. What did happen to him?
You’d ask the boys later. …If you wanted the truth. Though, you’re not quite sure if you really do.
────────── ⚘ ──────────
Your shift drags on longer than usual. Not because of work.
Because of him.
Baby sits at the back corner, hoodie pulled low, sipping a black coffee he hasn’t touched in twenty minutes. He doesn’t move. Doesn’t speak. Just watches. Your coworkers whisper, asking if he was an idol or something because he looked too handsome to be just a normal customer. You cringed at that.
It hasn’t really registered until now just how insane it was, really. You were now co-living with one of the rising pop-groups in the country. You almost laughed at the ridiculousness of it all.
You try to focus. But you can feel his eyes. Not just looking—possessing. Guarding. Burning. Everytime you talked to a customer (particularly male) you could feel his eyes harden, glaring holes into whoever it was that talked to you.
One of them tapped you on the shoulder to get your attention, asking with an “excuse me” if he could get some hot sauce with his order. Baby nearly jumped out of his seat if it weren’t for your warning glare.
You approach the brooding demon, flipping open your notepad. “You’re not subtle, you know.”
He doesn’t smile. “They shouldn’t look at you.”
Your heart thumps. “It’s a customer’s job to look…and order…and ask...”
“They shouldn’t talk, either. Nor should they ever touch.”
You try not to smile. “You’re terrifying.”
His eyes flick up. Dark. Hungry. “Good.”
You bring him a refill anyway. “Behave.”
He doesn’t.
He waits outside when your shift ends, hands in pockets. Doesn’t say a word as you fall into step beside him. The air between you buzzes. You glance over. “Why do you look like someone kicked your favorite pet?”
He doesn’t answer. You poke him in the side. “Baby.”
His jaw flexes. Fighting his control to pull you in closer as people walked by. “I don’t like them talking to you.”
You sigh. “We’ve been over this. It’s my job.”
“You don’t need it.”
“I do.”
“You have us.”
“That’s not a job.”
“You could quit. Let us take care of you.”
“No.”
He frowns, lips twitching down.
“You’re pouting.”
He looks at you, expression unreadable. You reach out, amused, and gently press his cheek. Something shifts. He grabs your hand—fast but gentle—and kisses your knuckles.
The world slows.
“You’re mine,” he whispers. “Even if you don’t remember. Even if you never say it.” His eyes hold you in place. Burning. Certain. There’s no hesitation in his voice. No tremble. Just absolute conviction—like he wasn’t stating a hope, but a law of the universe.
Baby steps closer, the streetlights casting silver on his sharp features. His gaze drops to your lips like he’s already imagining how they’d feel crushed beneath his.
“You don’t have to love me back yet,” he says, voice low and velvet-dark. “But don’t ever think I’ll stop. Even if you don’t want us to take care of you. I’ll keep pushing.”
Your stomach flips. You hate how warm your skin feels. How part of you leans toward him without meaning to. How his scent—like storm-wet pine and danger—makes your fingers twitch with a need you can’t name. His hand lifts to your face, gentle despite the fire in his eyes, knuckles brushing your cheek like you might vanish if he touched too hard.
“If anyone else touches you again,” he adds softly, “I don’t care if they’re your customer. They won’t have hands left to touch with.”
You don’t answer.
But your heart races all the way home.
────────── ⚘ ──────────
After dinner, the boys were gathered on the second floor of the apartment. They had turned it into a studio to practice their choreo for performances. You could hear their music and their footsteps as they danced to the beat.
You padded around the apartment to explore in the meantime. The apartment was massive. You didn’t realize how massive until you started walking. Every hallway turned into a gallery. Every room had windows tall enough to drown in. You passed a music room, a library, a room full of costumes and stage lights. You had no idea such penthouses existed in the city. But then again, they were demons who’d been in existence for hundreds of years. Who knows how much money they got.
On the kitchen counter, you found a sketchbook. Yours. But filled with things you didn’t remember drawing. Five faces. A moonlit shrine. A shattered sword. You still hadn’t gotten used to drawing what you figured were memories from your past lives. This was evidence in itself that they were telling the truth. You decide not to fight it anymore.
On the dresser, you find an earring. No pair. You picked it up and your chest twisted, it felt a bit familiar.
In the lounge, a scarf folded neatly on a velvet chair. You held it to your face and inhaled. A scent you couldn’t name, but the fabric felt soft. Again, familiar.
You didn’t know whether to scream or cry. It was like finding single pieces of a gigantic puzzle. You were sure these things meant something to one of them. You’d ask, in time.
After their practice was over, the boys found you sat in the livingroom. You were reading the book Romance had given you which made him smile. They greeted you one by one, some went off to shower, some to the kitchen for a snack.
It was Jinu who sat next to you.
“How’s the choreo going?” you ask, eyes never leaving the page.
“Good. How’s the book?” He nodded. He knew how badly Romance had wanted to give that to you.
“Good.” You looked up to softly smile at him. You were halfway through the story. The characters blurred together—tragic lovers separated by fate, drawn to one another through time. A story too close to your own.
Jinu looked at the book title with a gaze you couldn’t recognize. Like he was debating on something he wanted to say.
“Did you want to hear another story?”
That piqued your interest. You slowly shut the book, placing it down on the couch as a sign for him to continue. Jinu didn’t look at you. His gaze remained downcast. There was a moment of silence before he spoke.
“I wasn’t always someone people bowed to.”
You looked up at him. The air around him seemed to change—heavier, stiller. Like his shadow was longer than it had been a second ago.
“I was born in a fishing village by the bay,” he said. “Back when the tides still carried salt and prayers.”
“My mother was a seamstress. My sister was eight years younger. We were poor. Poor enough to boil weeds and pretend it was soup.”
Your breath caught. His eyes seemed distant. Far away as he recalled his life four hundred years ago.
“The only thing we owned of value was a bipa. My mother’s. She taught me how to play it before her hands got too swollen to hold the strings.” His eyes went distant, haunted. “I played in the markets for coins. It was never enough.”
He paused, jaw tight. “Then one night, I heard a voice.”
“Gwi Ma offered me everything. Fame. Gold. Silk sheets and stages carved from jade. And I said yes.”
You stared at him. He finally met your eyes—and this time, the pain there was real.
“I left,” he whispered. “Without a word. My mother. My sister. I never even turned around. I don’t know if they lived another week.”
You released a breath as you felt your heart fracture at his words.
“I just… ran. Into the palace. Into adoration. And never looked back.”
He exhaled, eyes heavy with guilt. “The crowds worshipped me. I performed for kings and their consorts. They called me divine. The courtiers fought for my smile. And it still wasn’t enough.”
“I didn’t deserve peace,” he said, voice brittle. “But then I saw you.” His voice softened—fragile like old silk.
“You were a maid. You had ink on your fingers and a habit of humming while sweeping the floors. You didn’t bow. You didn’t flatter. You rolled your eyes at me.”
Your chest tightened. So that’s who you were in your past life when you first met him.
“And when I asked you why… you said I looked lonely.”
A pause.
“I fell in love with you the moment you looked at me like I was a boy. Not a god.” His voice dropped to a whisper. “But I made you weak. I brought you too close. It was impossible for someone like you, so pure of heart, to exist in that palace. I should’ve known there would be vipers waiting to strike.”
You didn’t interrupt. You couldn’t.
“There was a concubine who used to love watching me play. She’d call upon me to her chambers for performances. Pay a hefty sum for an appearance in her parties. She saw you and I in one of the pavilions and she didn’t like it.” A look of anguish flashed on Jinu’s face. “I knew it was only a matter of time before someone found out. I wasn’t a fool. I knew the women of the palace liked me for more than just my voice.” His fists tightened on his lap.
“She poisoned your tea. I found you in the gardens…you…you were still smiling.”
He blinked once. Just once. “You died in my arms. And I didn’t even know how to mourn.”
You stared at him, tears pricking your eyes. You wished so hard to remember. To recall who he was back then. Something, anything, so you could share a memory with him.
“I went back to Gwi Ma. I begged. I offered everything again.” He swallowed. “That’s when the pact began. He told me… if I could bind other demons to your soul, tether you tightly enough, you’d return.” His eyes flicked to yours. He was trembling.
“So I did. I found them. One by one. I gave up pieces of myself to forge the bond. Even if I had to share you, I- I was willing to do anything to have you back. I waited lifetimes. We all did.”
He reached out now, slowly, like you might disappear. “And now you’re here.”
You didn’t move. Didn’t speak. But your body leaned toward his—drawn like a string was being pulled behind your ribs. He exhaled shakily. “I still don’t know what happened to them. My mother. My sister. I never went back.”
You reached for his hand. Fingers brushing his wrist. It was the gentlest thing you’d ever done. Jinu held onto your touch like a lifeline as the pain of his memories came rushing back.
“I think… they’d forgive you,” you whispered. He laughed softly. Bitter. Grateful. “I don’t.”
And somehow that made you want to forgive him more. You let him pull you closer. Let your head fall beneath his chin, chest pressed lightly to his side. He held you like you might break. Like he didn’t deserve to hold you at all. This was the closest he’s ever been to you since first seeing you in that square. His heart constricted.
“I won’t make the same mistake again,” he murmured. You felt the words against your scalp. “I will never leave you. Even if it kills me.”
You tilted your head up—slow, searching. His lips hovered a breath away. The look in his eyes was agonizing: pure want, reverence, restraint. He was begging without words.
And maybe you wanted to say yes. Maybe you wanted to close that distance.
But something in you hesitated. The memory of danger still ghosting your ribs. The smell of blood. The crackle of old fire. You shouldn’t want this. He was a demon.
But then again—
He was yours.
Jinu didn’t move. Not really. But his eyes…God, his eyes were starving.
Like a man who hadn’t eaten in centuries and now sat trembling before the one thing he was never allowed to touch. His fingers flexed once on his thigh, like he was holding himself back from grabbing you. From yanking you into his arms and claiming what had always been his.
His lips parted—his breath shallow. “I shouldn’t,” he whispered, voice ragged. “Not yet.”
That almost did it.
Not yet.
Not no.
He wasn’t denying that he wanted to. Only that he was trying—failing—not to. You felt something pulse low in your spine. The bond again. Soft and hot, like a wire coiling tighter. Tighter.
You leaned closer. Not much. Just enough for your shoulder to brush his chest. His breath hitched.
“Y/N…” he warned. Or maybe it was a plea. “You don’t know what you’re doing to me.”
But you did. You knew exactly.
Your hand grazed his chest—over fabric, over his heart. It beat like a war drum under your palm. And he—this ancient thing with a voice like honey and a soul soaked in sin—shook under your touch.
“You waited for me,” you said softly. “Across lifetimes.”
He gave a shaky laugh. “Every night. Every fucking century.”
“And now I’m here,” you whispered.
“And now you’re here.”
He reached up—finally—like a man about to touch something sacred. Fingers grazing your cheek so gently it made you ache. You didn’t flinch this time. You leaned into it. And when he cradled your face in his hands, it wasn’t just touch.
It was claim.
The bond lit up like a match to kerosene—searing, seeping through every crack in your soul like molten gold. You gasped. So did he. His forehead pressed against yours, and for a moment, the whole world narrowed to this.
Him. You. Breath tangled. Thread pulled tight. Two hearts beating like one.
His voice broke against your mouth.
“I loved you. Before I even knew what love meant. I loved you in that garden. In that palace. In every life you bled through. I loved you while you died in my arms. And I love you now.”
Tears slowly gathered in the corner of your eyes at his confession. Your chest tightening with every word he uttered. Let all reason be damned. Nothing in the world could be more true right now, more real, than this.
Your lips brushed his when you exhaled. You didn’t mean to. You were just breathing—but it was enough.
It shattered him.
He kissed you like he was starving. Like this was his first meal in centuries. Like his immortality had meant nothing without this.
The kiss wasn’t soft. It was ruinous. Possessive. His mouth moved against yours like he’d memorized it across time—hungry, reverent, desperate. Like he was afraid you’d vanish if he let go.
And you…
You kissed him back.
Because some part of you remembered. The garden. The incense. The ache of his name in your mouth before it was ever spoken.
Your fingers curled into his shirt, pulling him closer. His hand slid to your waist. He groaned low in his throat when you pressed into him, fire threading under your skin, a live wire finally connected.
The kiss slowed. Deepened.
When he finally pulled back, barely an inch, his eyes were wild.
“You’re mine,” he whispered. “You always were.”
And in that moment, you didn’t deny it.
Not this time.
────────── ⚘ ──────────
The kiss hadn’t been loud.
Barely a sigh. A whisper of fabric. The faint rustle of limbs and emotion finally giving in.
But they felt it.
From different corners of the apartment, the bond trembled like a shared heartbeat. A hush fell over the rooms like snowfall. Every boy froze.
Abby paused in the hallway with his forehead pressed to the doorframe, eyes shut.
Romance stood motionless in the kitchen, hands tight around the edge of the marble counter, breath held like a confession.
Mystery curled beneath his bedsheets, face half-buried in the sleeve of your old hoodie, his claws twitching against the mattress.
Baby sat in the far window seat of the lounge, unmoving, eyes half-lidded, expression unreadable—except for the slight twitch of his jaw.
They knew. They didn’t need to see it. They felt it through the bond—the hum, the spark, the slow unfurling of something sacred.
You kissed Jinu.
And something ancient and knotted in all of them unclenched. Not jealousy. Not really. It wasn’t rage or bitterness that stirred in their chests.
It was relief.
Because Jinu deserved this.
He had waited the longest. He had suffered the most. He had built the very foundation of the Crimson Pact with trembling hands and bloodied knees, driven by the memory of your lifeless body in his arms. He had found them. Bound them. Led them.
And now…He had finally been given a sliver of what he lost.
Abby exhaled a breath he hadn’t known he’d been holding. His hand closed into a fist against the doorframe. “Good for you, hyung,” he whispered.
Romance closed his eyes and tilted his head to the ceiling, the corner of his mouth lifting into a quiet, almost reverent smile. “Took him fucking long enough.”
Mystery blinked slowly, purring low in his throat. “She’s starting to remember,” he murmured into the blankets. “She’s letting herself feel it.”
And Baby… Baby didn’t move. But in his eyes, a hunger lit up. Not the kind that devoured. The kind that waited. That watched from the shadows with claws pressed to his ribs.
It would be his turn soon. He could wait. He’d waited before. But not much longer.
Across the apartment, the bond shimmered—warmer now. Alive in a way it hadn’t been in lifetimes. Each of them felt it. Not just the connection, but the hope.
She’s letting us in. She’s starting to fall again. Their hands twitched. Hearts pounded. Mouths parted with breathless need. And beneath it all, one singular thought pulsed through the Crimson Pact:
Soon, it’ll be me.
Not out of competition. Not to steal the moment. But because you belonged to all of them. And in every life, one by one… you had.
Jinu had always kissed you first.
But he would not be the last. TO BE CONTINUED

Imagine Being Isekai'ed into KPOP DEMON HUNTERS. (part 5)
Tumblr media
This one is kind of Jinu orientated! Welcome to the debut chapter of Soda Pop! Please enjoy :3
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
‘Okay, what's the big deal? Also, you were eavesdropping on me?’ Y/N pointed an accusing finger at Rae, who annoyingly did not look a single bit guilty.
‘I wanted to make sure you were safe.’
‘I was safe. How do you think I’ve been surviving this entire time before you guys came along?’ Y/N threw up her hands in indignation. ‘In fact, the most danger I’ve been in was when you guys tried to take my soul. Remember that?’
The boys collectively winced, knowing she was right.
‘She has a demon voice. She caused damage to the Honmoon, your friend is dangerous.’ Rae walked forward, taking her arm and pulling her toward the kitchen island
‘Rumi didn’t do it on purpose, she was scared and confused. She would never hurt me.’ Y/N sat down to Rae’s ushering. ‘What, what is-?’
‘It’s some sokkoritang. (Ox Bone Soup) You haven’t eaten.’ Jinu scooped up a bowl of rice from Y/N’s barely used rice cooker. She couldn't even remember if she bought it or it came with the penthouse.
‘I made it, so eat up.’
Y/N picked up her spoon, as Jinu placed a bowl of rice in front of her.
‘Thank you…’ She stared down at the bowl, stunned at the unexpected kindness.
‘We need you to be functional so we can steal Huntr/x’s fans.’ Jinu explained hurriedly, his cheeks coloured with a pretty peach colour. Luckily for him, this went unnoticed by Y/N, who was digging into her meal.
The soup was perfectly seasoned, flavourful and balanced.
How long had it been since Y/N actually had homecooked food? At least in this world, it had been months since she was able to have any, being on a world tour with the Huntr/x girls. It was a simple luxury she had since abandoned for convenience.
‘This is… It was amazing. Thank you Jinu.’ Y/N finished, standing to put her bowl in the sink. The rest of the Saja boys were rehearsing their song in the living area.
‘It was nothing.’ Jinu breathed out, as if a weight had been lifted from him. ‘Before things got really bad… I would help my mother cook.’ Jinu took Y/N’s bowl, placing it in the sink as he turned on the tap.
‘But that was four hundred years ago.’ He finished, tone hardening.
‘The food was amazing, you’d make a wonderful house wife Jinu.’ Y/N joked, leaning against the countertop next to Jinu as he washed the bowl. She could feel the unease, radiating off Jinu’s being.
‘Yeah?’ He smirked, shaking off the excess water from his hands. ‘You gonna find me a suitable husband?’
‘Hmm, I don’t know anyone willing to marry a maiden with such, attitude. I’m afraid we’re the only people who can put up with it.’ Y/N gestured to herself and the Saja Boys.
‘Is that so?’ Jinu hummed, gazing at Y/N forlornly as she nodded approvingly at the boys who were nailing their choreography.
‘Jinu, I get that you’re worried I might run off or that I’ll stop writing for you. But you can’t send-’
‘They all wanted to.’
‘Jinu…’ Y/N exhaled, turning to face the man, who at least this time, looked slightly guilty. ‘I have your number. You don’t have to send someone to look after me.’
‘Okay…’ He refused to meet her eye, staring at a blank spot on the wall to his left.
‘Although, I don’t mind the tiger. It’s so cute.’ Y/N gave him a forbearing smile.
‘Yeah?’ Jinu grinned, face lighting up. ‘Did you see it’s-’
‘Tiny hat? Did you make it for the tiger?’
‘Yeah, but my bird keeps taking it.’ Jinu summoned the tiger with a flick of his hand, said creature appearing out of her floor.
‘Oh my goodness, hello there sweetheart!’ Y/N cried out, kneeling in front of the curious tiger.
‘Who is she calling sweetheart?’ A voice replied from the living space, sounding irate.
‘Oh, it’s the tiger.’ Another voice answered, footsteps shuffling toward the kitchen.
‘Oh, you precious little thing.’ Y/N splayed her hand, palm side up. The tiger gave a pleasant growl, rumbling as it butted its head against Y/N’s hand.
‘It’s cute but not that cute.’ Beom pouted, crossing his arms.
‘What do you mean?’ Y/N pouted in return. This baby is the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen, arent’cha?’ Y/N gave the blue tiger scratches underneath its chin.
‘Alright, you’ve got to sleep. Our debut is tomorrow and you need to be there.’ Jinu, waved his hand, causing the tiger to begin to sink back into the ground. The creature let out a downcast rumble in protest.
‘Aw..’ Y/N protested, waving goodbye to the equally disappointed creature. ‘Wait, why do I have to be there?’
‘So I have someone to focus on. You don’t want me to get stage fright, do you?’ Rae smirked, leaning toward Y/N’s face.
‘Hey, hey, what did I say about fake flirting.’ Y/N laughed, pushing away Rae’s face with a guiding hand.
‘Who said it was fake.’ Rae grumbled quietly under his breath, retreating toward a spinning chair.
‘Anyways, I will go to sleep. But only because I wanna go grocery shopping tomorrow. There’s this new snack I’ve been wanting to try.’
‘Oh, you mean this one?’ Rae held up a bag of the very snack that Y/N had been craving.
‘What, how?’ She spluttered, reaching towards the packet.
‘I saw you look at it twice when you were buying Kimbap with the demon hunter.’ Rae dangled the packet above her head, keeping it just out of reach.
‘Hey! I thought you bought it for me!’ Y/N jumped, swiping at the bag.
‘I did, but you gotta promise you’ll come to our performance tomorrow.’ Rae smirked, waving around the snack bag teasingly.
‘Ugh, Jinu, make him give it to me.’ Y/N pouted, pointing at Rae angrily.
‘You gotta promise.’ Jinu laughed, a tender heat spreading through his chest as he watched Y/N swipe at Rae. The way his friends got along with their new writer didn’t go unnoticed by him. To be honest, it was actually endearing to some degree. Like he and his friends had gotten a new pet.
‘Fine.. FINE I’ll be there so lemme-’ Y/N leapt, finally snatching the bag out of Rae’s hand, falling back into Mystery’s arms, almost collapsing on the floor.
‘Oops, sorry Mystery.’ Y/N stood, with the purplehaired man’s help.
‘Just Min, is fine.’ The soft spoken man replied, seemingly checking for any injury as he spun her around slowly.
‘Alrighty, Y/N you go to bed. The rest of us will continue our rehearsal. We’ll be quiet, we promise.’ Abel placed his hands on Y/N’s shoulders, guiding her to her room as the rest of the boys stood up, beginning their stretching routine.
‘Goodnight everyone!’ Y/N called out, looking behind her.
‘Night Y/N!’ ‘Sleep well!’ ‘Sweet dreams Y/N!’ ‘Night.’ The boys chorused, while Abel walked her to her room.
‘Are you guys ready?’ Y/N opened her bedroom door, walking into her room.
‘Yeah, pretty much. We just need to make everything a little sharper. Otherwise, we’re pretty much perfect.
‘Thats great! Y/N smiled, pulling out pajamas from her closet.
‘Here, gimmie that.’ Abel tugged Y/N’s snack bag. ‘What are you gonna do, eat it in your sleep?’
‘Hey, I so could!’ Y/N laughed, releasing her hold on the food. ‘Now turn around or get out. I need to change.’
‘I have a question.’ Abel turned to face the bedroom door, closing his eyes for good measure.
‘Yeah?’
‘Has what happened to me, happened with any of the other boys?’
‘You mean that weird light that made your patterns shine?’ Y/N pulled her pants up, letting the elastic snap around her waist. ‘Yeah, actually when you guys went to go get me breakfast this morning, Beom and I had a chat.’
‘And?’
‘Well, I made this pattern shine, I touched his shoulder when we were talking about the deal he made with Gwi-ma.’ Y/N recounted, sliding herself into bed.
‘Huh, y’know he doesn’t really talk about it much?’ Abel twitched, wanting to face Y/N.
‘You can turn around now. But, no I didn’t. I guess, at that moment I just felt so…’ Y/N trailed off, trying to recount her emotions and convey them into words.
‘I wanted to help. I didn’t want Beom to let Gwi-ma take credit for his talent.’
‘So it can just be anywhere.’ Abel hummed, leaning on Y/N’s doorframe. ‘I see.’
‘I mean, I still don’t know how to control it. I touched Rae’s hand today but nothing happened.’ Y/N shook her head, pulling the comforter to her chest.
‘Mm, sounds like there needs to be intent behind those touches. We can talk more about it tomorrow. For now, just sleep.’ Abel nodded, stepping back and beginning to close the bedroom door. ‘Sleep tight.’
‘Night Abel.’ Y/N closed her eyes as the demon switched off the lights, easing the bedroom door shut.
‘You’re sure she was part demon?’ Jinu inquired, as Abel walked back into the living space.
‘Positive.’ Rae nodded, the group sitting in a circle formation not unlike a formal meeting. ‘If her patterns weren't enough, she had a demon voice.’
‘That shockwave was caused by her?’ Mystery leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees.
‘Yes.’
‘She weakened the Honmoon.’
‘Is Y/N safe hanging around them?’ Beom picked at a loose thread on his sweater.
‘We’ll keep an eye on her. I’ll send Derpy and Sussie to check on her.’ Jinu finalised, nodding his head.
‘You just had to show her you were following her, didn’t you Rae?’ Abel snickered, nudging the taller man with a playful elbow.
‘She was shivering. What was I meant to do? Let her freeze?’ He rolled his eyes, face slightly flushing a pretty pink.
‘Alright, let’s get back to work. Don’t forget, we’re here to steal Huntr/x’s fans.’ Jinu clapped his hands, breaking up the playful banter. He seemed troubled, his eyes were unfocused. Jinu was stuck between a rock and a hard place and seemingly with no other alternative.
As Y/N slipped into the realm of the unconscious, the Saja Boys continued their practice well into the early morning. They had finished around five am, deciding that they were ready to perform. All the boys made a brisk trip back to their neighboring apartment building to change.
Jinu however, stayed behind.
His reasoning?
‘I need to make breakfast for her so she doesn’t have an excuse not to come see the performance.’ Jinu shrugged, putting on an apron and rummaging through the fridge.
‘We’ll bring back your performance clothes so you can change after.’ Mystery nodded, patting his friend on the back.
Jinu nodded, pulling out two eggs from the fridge, placing them into a bowl.
Yeah, that was the reason he was making her breakfast. Why else would he do something like that?
‘I need her so she can write more songs. So I can get Gwi-ma those souls, so I can forget.’ Jinu muttered, cracking the eggs into the bowl with one hand. He had already taken out a pan and set it on the stove, now pouring some oil into it.
‘That’s all. That's all it is.’ He shook his head, ‘She means nothing. I don’t care.’ Jinu mumbled, sliding the egg mixture into the pan, watching the edges bubble in the hot oil. A protesting groan, from the metal spatula, being dented from Jinu’s grip.
‘Mm, what smells good?’ A drowsy voice filled the incessant whispering in Jinu’s head, effectively drowning out the unwelcomed voices in his head in an instant.
‘Just some eggs. Sit down, I’m almost done.’ Jinu relinquished his hardened grip on the spatula, using it to separate the eggs from the bottom of the pan. ‘Grab a plate and some bread.’
Y/N rubbed her eyes, stumbling half blindly to the cupboard containing all her dinnerware. She pulled out a plate before returning to the table, letting the plate clink against the marble top.
‘I didn’t buy any bread this month.’ Y/N whined, smushing her face into the tabletop.
‘Yeah, I bought some for you yesterday.’ Jinu turned around, pausing to take in Y/N’s groggy appearance. Her hair was unbrushed, eyes still crusted with rheum on the edges. She was still in her pajamas.
And yet…
Jinu’s chest ached, a mellow pang rushing through his chest, radiating through every fiber of his being.
This.
This homeliness. This domestication. It was something he had since long forgotten, left behind when he abandoned his family to live a cushy life in the palace. Even then he had never felt this much…
Joy.
‘Heh, nice apron Jinu.’ Y/N giggled, using a fork to cut her eggs in half. ‘Pink suits you.’
Jinu glanced down, realising he still had Y/N’s apron on.
‘All colours suit me.’ He sniffed haughtily, before pointing at Y/N, ‘And you can’t talk! Look at your pajamas!’
‘HEY I bought these because they're cute.’ She protested, taking a bite of her breakfast.
‘Childish.’
‘Nuh uh!’
The pair dissolved into a fit of giggles, as the elevator doors dinged open, revealing the rest of the boys.
‘Wow, my PJ’s and you apron does not compare to Abel’s crappy Hawaiian print shirt.’ Y/N howled with laughter, leaning back in her chair. Luckily for her, Jinu had caught her again, casually with his arm.
‘It was this, or palm trees…’ Abel sighed, looking down at his shirt. ‘Rae said that I couldn’t wear a plaid one.’
‘Plaid is an abomination. We want them to like us, not judge us for our fashion choices.’ Rae crossed his arms, his yellow chiffon top ruffling.
‘Huh, what will you be wearing Jinu?’ Y/N lifted her head to look at the man still holding on to her waist.
‘Hm, not sure, whatever Rae decided to give me.’
‘Yeah, I have your clothes right here. Unless you wanna debut in a pink frilly apron that's fine by me too.’
‘I’d rather not thank you.’ Jinu picked up the clothes from Rae’s hands and wandered off to Y/N’s bathroom.
‘You better not go through my drawers.’ Y/N called out.
‘I’m looking through 'en right now, I’m rummaging!’ Jinu called back, closing the door behind him
‘So, you guys ready? Excited?’ Y/N stood up, walking towards her bedroom. ‘Lemme get changed, I'll be right back.’
The boys nodded, watching Y/N disappear behind her door.
‘Did you see her pajamas?’ Beom sighed, a tiny smile on his face.
‘Is it weird that I think she’s cute?’ Min hummed, staring at Y/N’s closed bedroom door.
‘I’d think you were weird if you didn’t find her cute.’ Rae remarked, his chin resting on his fist.
They each felt an inexplicable pull towards the girl. As if she was anchoring them to the earth. These were feelings they hadn’t felt in centuries, locked away in a box, buried beneath their shame and fears. They had almost forgotten what it felt like to feel happy. Abel and Beom had forgotten what it was like to be able to have their own thoughts, unpolluted by the soiled words of Gwi-ma.
‘Alright, whose idea was it to put me in pink.’ Jinu raised an eyebrow, as the boys all collectively pointed at Beom.
The youngest let out an unholy sceech as Jinu chased him around, chuckling darkly. Y/N opened her door, met with the whining of Beom and teasing of Jinu.
‘Say you’re sorry!’ Jinu laughed, giving a particularly painful noogie to the blue harried boy. They were both on the floor, Jinu had wrapped his legs around Beom's waist, holding him snug.
‘I’M SORRY.’ Beom whined, writhing in Jinu’s grip.
‘Will you ever do it again?’ Jinu held fast, driving his knuckles into Beom’s skull.
‘NOOOOOOO.’ Beom complained. ‘HELP ME Y/N!’
Y/N giggled, watching the scene unfold in front of her.
‘You guys are like brothers huh?’ Y/N sat down on her gaming chair, pulling her shoes on.
‘Yeah pretty much.’ Min nodded next to her. ‘Jinu brought us all together, years ago when he found beom.’
‘We don’t have to get into that now.’ Jinu brushed himself off, standing and straightening his clothing.
‘Aw, but I wanna hear the story.’ Y/N slumped down in her chair in protest.
‘Yeah but we have a debut to get to. Here, if our debut goes well, I’ll tell you who's the oldest.’
‘Is it not you?’ Y/N blinked, miffed. ‘You’re four hundred. Beom-ie is two hundred.-’
‘Give or take.’ Beom interrupted
‘Yeah, Beom is our youngest.’ Jinu gazed at the blue haired boy with pride, ruffling his hair. ‘He’s our pride and joy.’
‘Hey! I’m gonna have to wear a hat to cover this mess up now.’ Beom sighed, raking his fingers through his hair. Rae handed Beom a yellow baret, seemingly materialised out of thin air.
The group continued their conversation as they packed into the elevator. Y/N continued to guess at everyone’s age but none of the men would confirm her guesses. They found it funny that Y/N was unable to guess their age order correctly.
They reached the plaza as Y/N gave up, stalking behind the boys as they chattered to each other, occasionally teasing the pouting girl.
‘Y/N?’ A deep feminine voice called out.
‘Huh?’ Y/N turned around, spotting a trio of girls walking out of a bathhouse. ‘Mira, Rumi and Zoey?’
‘Hey! You didn’t answer your phone.’ Rumi ran over to Y/N, giving her a hug. ‘I called but you didn;t pick up, so I left a message asking if you wanted to come to the bathhouse with us!’ Rumi dragged Y/N toward Mira and Zoey.
Y/N patted her pockets, searching for her phone.
Damn. She had left it at home.
Each of the girls were wearing somewhat of a disguise.  Zoey was wearing a yellow fuzzy bucket hat, obscuring her face, Rumi was wearing her pink hoodie, the hood covering her signature purple hair. Mira was wearing a black baseball cap, her face adorned by golden circular framed glasses.
‘Yeah, are you free today?’ Mira gave an amused smile, leaning down to look at Y/N’s face closely. ‘Looks like you slept well last night. That’s good.’
‘Yeah! Wanna hang out with us? We’re taking today off!’ Zoey looped her arm around Y/N’s walking towards the plaza.
Y/N blinked, looking behind her, realising that the men had since disappeared.
'Yeah, we hear a new boy band is having a debut stage today and we wanna go judge them. What was their name. It was something stupid, to do with animals.' Mira chuckled, linking her arm around Rumi's.
'The Saja Boys. Honestly, sounds kinda corny.' Rumi laughed, the four walking toward a familiar beat filling the air.
'Huh, must be here. Look, there's pink mist.' Zoey pointed, leading Y/N and the erst of the girls to stand in the forming crowd.
The familiar beat of Soa Pop began to fill the air, as the pink mist revealed the Saja Boys.
'Don't want you, need you Yeah, I need you to fill me up.' Jinu began singing, spotting Y/N immediately, winking at her.
'Ew.' Rumi gagged, 'These guys are so cliché that it hurts.'
'Did he just wink at you?' Mira smirked, glancing between the boys performing and Y/N.
'Uh... maybe?'
'Oh, he was definently winking at her. They're all looking at her.' Zoey squealed, shaking Y/N excitedly.
'Wow, their song is annoyingly catchy though. It matches their vibe really well.' Mira brought her fingers to her chin, tapping her index finger thoughtfully.
'Huh, the writing style reminds me of you Y/N.' Rumi raised an eyebrow, as the boys continued to sing, blowing heart's out of thin air.
'Uh...'
'Wait, look!' Zoey gasped, pointing at the group. 'They have patterns! Look, you can see them.'
'Demons.' Rumi glowered, seeing under their human visage.
'What do we do?' Mira grumbled, looking at the huntr/x girls.
'They're demons, we just do what we always do. We kill them.' Rumi stalked forward, hands itching to grasp her sword. 'Besides, that one winked at our Y/N and I don't share.'
'Wait Rumi, it's too public.' Mira tugged Rumi back quickly, looking at the decent sized crowed.
'But look, they're coming after the fans. That must be why they're posing as this cringey boyband.' Rumi gestured widely to the boys, who were on a rising platform, decorated as a soda can. The Saja Boys had reached the climax of their song.
'I know, but we have to wait. Otherwise we'll have a swarm of fans questioning us. I don't think even Bobby would be able to cover that up for us.' Zoey mused with narrowed eyes, pulling Y/N behind her shielding Y/N with her body.
As the girls contemplated what to do, The Saja Boys finished their performance, sending one last flying kiss in Y/N's direction.
Rumi growled, watching the interaction.
'That's it for now! See you tonight, on everyone's favourite variety show! The Saja Boys love you!' Jinu flashed a charming smile, before giving Y/N a knowing smile.
The boys disappeared in a puff of pink smoke.
'We are so going to kill those dudes.' Rumi snarled, fixing her hoodie as the group walked back to the Huntr/x tower. 'Y/N do you wanna stay in the tower? We gotta get battle ready.'
'Uh, I actually have to go do the demo for What It Sounds Like remember? Y/N rubbed a hand on her neck nervously.
'Right...' Rumi sighed, smoothing back her braid. 'Okay well call us if anything happens. Actually, call us even if nothing happens okay?' Rumi babbled, swiping her key card at the front opening doors.
'She's right. Those boys seemed to be looking at you. They might try something so call us if you feel anything funny okay?' Mira placed a reassuring hand on Y/N's shoulder while Zoey gave her a hug.
'We'll text you when we send those demons back to where they belong! Maybe we can even record the song today!'
'Alright girls! Stay safe!' Y/N smiled, as the Huntr/x girls walked into the elevator.
'Bye Y/N/N!' The girls chorused, as the elevator doors shut.
Y/N released her breath, 'Oh damn. This is not good.'
Y/N hurried back to her apartment, checking her phone repeatedly.
'So, they wanna kill us tonight huh?' Abel smirked as Y/N rushed past the elevator doors.
'Yeah, I think the purple haired one has a crush on you.' Jinu raised an eyebrow, his face plastered with an unamused smile.
'What?' Y/N blinked.
'How come they get to call you Y/N/N.' Beom pointed at Y/N with his pastel yellow beret.
'YOU GUYS WERE FOLLOWING ME AGAIN?'

Word Count: 2.2k "𝖫𝗂𝗏𝖾 𝗂𝗇 𝖽𝖺𝗋𝗄𝗇𝖾𝗌𝗌, 𝖻𝗋𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗆𝖾 𝖻𝗋𝗂𝗀𝗁𝗍𝗇𝖾𝗌𝗌" ━━ Ever since you were a kid, all you wanted was to be cared for.
Tumblr media
“Y’know, I didn’t see you as an aquarium sort of guy.” You said, standing alongside Jinu with your hood pulled over your head. Your hand traced the glass of the enclosure, following a fish that had caught your eye.
You’d never thought you’d be here at an aquarium of all places with Jinu, but… You didn’t mind it. This was the calm before the storm, the quiet before you won the Idol Awards.
“And what sort of guy did you think I was?” Jinu asked, stepping a little closer.
You hummed, pretending to think. “Broody. Mysterious. Probably more into haunted mansions than harmless sea life.”
“That sounds… unfairly accurate.”
“Well, lucky for you, I like both haunted mansions and sea life.”
“...So there’s still hope for me?” Jinu asked, smirking down at you with his usual smugness.
“You’re oddly arrogant for someone I could kill right now,” You tilted your head before turning away back to the fish and muttering under your breath, “Not that I would right now.”
“Hm? What was that?” Jinu asked.
“Nothing.” You rolled your eyes, hiding the small smile creeping on your face.
Jinu glanced at the fish, the blue glow illuminating the dark room. Many fish swarmed and weaved through each other, creating a colorful storm. “I thought it would be nice to come here.” He said.
“Well, I’d have to say it is.” You smiled, moving down the hall to another exhibit. You turned, confusion laced with your expression as Jinu didn’t seem to be following you. “You coming?”
“Yes.” Jinu nodded, catching up with you quickly. You chuckled as he hastily followed you. It was oddly empty here, it was probably because it was a random Tuesday and the middle of the day, but you figured it was for the best. After all, Jinu didn’t seem to be very wary about fans seeing him.
You walked over to the stingray exhibit, washing your hands off in the sink nearby. “What’re you doing?” You asked, turning to Jinu, “Come wash your hands.”
“Why?” He asked, though he washed his hands quickly after you were finished.
“To touch some stingray, obviously.” You smiled. Jinu walked alongside you as you stood against the tank.
As you lifted your sweatshirt, you quickly widened your eyes and shoved the sleeve back down with a nervous chuckle. “Sort of forgot about that… Heh… You can touch the stingray if you want, I won’t stop your fun.”
You pulled away before Jinu caught your wrist, “You don’t have to hide your markings with me.” He said, his grip loosening just enough for you to softly pull your arm away.
“I guess I’m just used to it.” You muttered, “I’ve never really had anyone other than Rumi to talk about my patterns…”
“Why do you have them?” Jinu asked suddenly. “Your patterns.
You paused, thinking for a moment before sighing, “I don’t know.” You admitted, looking up at the ceiling. “It’s just a… Mystery I suppose.”
You walked into one of the domes of the aquarium, Jinu quickly drying his hand off before following. “Let’s talk about something else.” You decided, shoving your hands into your pockets.
A whole enclosure of water spread out above you. The only thing keeping you from drowning in a sea of fish was the glass that held it together. You turned to Jinu, “Have you ever been to an aquarium before?” You asked.
Jinu paused, thinking before shaking his head, “I never had time to.”
“Hm. You… Missed out on a lot of things that make life fun.” You mused. “Maybe… Once we seal the Honmoon… We could visit those things?”
“Like what?” Jinu asked.
“Well, I doubt you’ve ever had time to take a walk in one of the parks around here.” You said. “Also, you’ve definitely never been on a Ferris wheel.”
“Those spinning death traps?” Jinu grimaced at the thought of riding one of those.
“Oh, come on. You demons fly on the daily basis, but a Ferris wheel is where you draw the line?” You asked, crossing your arms.
“At least when I fly, I’m the one in control.”
“That’s the most demon-y thing I’ve ever heard you say.”
“Thank you?”
“You're welcome.” You stared at him for a moment before laughing at his blank expression. Although he seemed like a cat person, he looked so much like a lost puppy. “What? Is there… Something on my face?” He asked, reaching his hand up.
“No, no, it’s just…” You let out your last laugh, clearing your throat. “Nothing. It’s nothing.”
Jinu blinked at your odd behavior, though he went along with it. He wouldn’t complain about it if it meant listening to your laugh again.
“But, yeah, if you help us seal the Honmoon, maybe we could visit all the things you’ve missed out on.” You said, circling back to your point. You turned your gaze back to the fish.
It didn’t matter if he did agree to help you seal the Honmoon. Sure, you would be disappointed, after all, you… Enjoyed his company. It was nice to talk with someone other than Rumi about your patterns. But Huntrix would beat the Saja Boys. You knew it would.
For some reason, Jinu was… Tongue tied. He couldn’t speak, couldn’t say anything. You were so… Kind. He was a demon, and he still was treated with your care. After everything he did to you, you could still learn to love him. Even if you didn’t remember, the soul never forgets.
“There’s something familiar about this.” You spoke, turning to Jinu with a look he couldn’t explain and an emotion you couldn’t understand. “Am I crazy or is that just me?”
The soul never forgets. “I… I think you’re crazy.” Jinu said, shoving his still sort of wet hands in his pocket.
“Maybe I am crazy…” You rolled your eyes, crossing your arms. “I’m standing in a fish tunnel with a demon…”
The two of you went quiet for a moment, before Jinu spoke. “Y/N… I don’t think I’m the right one to help you seal the Honmoon.” He said. “I’ve… I’ve made so many mistakes. I can’t risk making another one.”
“Everyone’s made mistakes, Jinu.” You placed a hand on his shoulder. He tensed underneath your touch, though slowly lifted his own hand to cover yours.
“But I’ve made so many…” He muttered, his gaze trailing against the glass. For four centuries he’s been waiting for you to reincarnate, to see you again. He couldn’t mess this up just because he was… Selfish. ‘In four hundred years, you’ve never done a single thing that didn’t serve yourself…’
“Hey.” You snapped him out of his spiraling. He turned to look at you, wide-eyed and full of fear. “I don’t care if you’ve made mistakes before, Jinu. You were human once, you can be human again. And even if you aren’t changed back or rid of these patterns, demon or human, I’ll try to understand.”
Jinu stared at you. How could you be so perfect? How could you stand there, place your hand on his shoulder, and tell him you’ll understand.
“Besides, you’ve already helped us a ton already.” You said, removing your hand from Jinu’s shoulder much to his dismay. “Ever since you had met up with Rumi, her voice had… Healed. I was wondering why but… It seems like she’s finally starting to accept her patterns now that she understands why demons are demons.”
“Really?” Jinu asked.
“You’ve hard-wired your brain to think of all the bad things you’ve done.” You said, “But what about the good things? You tried to help your family and fell in love. It’s not your fault that you were punished for doing something anyone else would’ve done.”
“You can turn from the light, a beacon within the night, you're the brightest my star.” Your fingers glided along the glass as your voice softened. The glow of the aquarium danced across both your faces, barely lighting the expression you shared with Jinu. “Perfect in every way, the whole world's ocean waves reflected in your sad gaze…”
Jinu stepped beside you, eyes on your profile. “My savior, oh what a beautiful soul…” You looked back at Jinu with a smile.
“I don’t believe it, you’re a liar…” he murmured, voice caught between awe and disbelief.
“Night's falling and all the darkness comes out to play, just let me take it away…”, You turned, voice light as your steps bounced forward. “Ruler of my heart, ruler of my heart, ruler of my heart…”
“Eternally beautiful.” Jinu followed as the two of you traversed further through the long tunnel of fish. “Ruler of my heart, ruler of my heart, ruler of my heart…”
“Oh, within all these walls. Falling with no ground-”
“In a single moment, breaking down.” Jinu finished for you.
You paused, looking back to Jinu before smiling, “Taken my sight and sound, darkness fills all around, collapsing my world.” Jinu joined in gently before looking back at the fish to take in the shimmering blue surrounding him.
“My savior! Oh, what a beautiful girl. Take my hand now, we could change everything.” He reached his hand out for you to hold, searching for comfort in the endless void of self-hatred. “Night's fallen and all our shadows come out to play, I’ll let you take it away!”
“Ruler of my heart, ruler of my heart, ruler of my heart.” You took his hand, pulling him closer, “Eternally beautiful.”
“Ruler of my heart, ruler of my heart, ruler of my heart…” You both harmonized together as he opened the palm of your hand to place the small necklace he had taken out that night.
Your voice caught in your throat, causing Jinu to sing softly to himself with a look of adoration. “Ruler of my heart, ruler of my heart, ruler of my heart…”
You widened your eyes as he closed your hand and let it fall to your side. You looked at him, then back at the necklace in your hand, before back at him.
You stared at each other for a moment before Jinu widened his eyes, “I… I don’t hear his voice anymore…” He raised his hand at his head, waiting for the searing headache Gwi-Ma’s voice caused to come back. But… It didn’t. He looked back at you with determination now in his eyes, “I’ll make sure the Saja Boys lose tomorrow.”
You blinked in realization before smiling softly. “Thank you, Jinu.”
(Me: Haha imagine if Jinu died. Also me: I was then shot fifty times.)
- - -
The morning light glowed a soft golden hue onto the living room of Huntrix’s tower. The four of you sat down on the couch, called to a friend meeting by Rumi. “Look, the last few weeks have been hard.” Rumi started, “And I admit, I haven’t been at my best. But I know we can win tomorrow. We just have to sing the right song. And Takedown isn’t-”
“It’s okay, Rumi.” Mira interrupted, her gaze on the floor now focused on you and Rumi. “We agree.” Zoey nodded, fidgeting with her hands nervously.
“It’s not the song that’s gonna connect all our fans.” Mira said.
“It can’t even connect us…” Zoey muttered, looking down at the ground.
Mira sighed, “I know our faults and fears must never be seen, but… Look, I’m kind of a difficult person. Overly blunt, short-fused, highly aggressive,” Mira said, “My whole life those things were a liability. But somehow, with you guys, they’re okay.”
You looked at the three of them before swallowing the lump in your throat as well as the ongoing headache pulsing beneath your skull. You should really take some migraine pills when you finally go on hiatus. “Yeah, I get that…” You started, “I’ve been raised to be someone else for my whole entire life, to be… Different. But, you guys make me feel like me.”
“I feel the same way.” Zoey agreed, “Before I joined Huntrix, I felt like my thoughts and my lyrics and all my notebooks were just useless and weird. But with the three of you, they mean something. I mean something.”
“I’m afraid of losing you guys too.” Rumi said, her hand joining yours as she placed her other hand on Zoey’s shoulder. “And that’s why we have to finish this. All these fears, it’s the demons talking. But tomorrow, we can win this war. And when we seal the Honmoon, we will be free of these demons. Free of these fears forever.”
“After that… We could take a hiatus.” You suggested, squeezing Rumi’s hand slightly. “Maybe me and Rumi could join you guys at the bathhouse?”
Zoey and Mira both gasped, excitement evident in both their faces. “What?! I will fight for a spa day with you.” “The women’s bathhouse, not the men’s? AHAHAHA! Let’s do it!”
“So what song are we doing?” You asked, looking at the three of them.
“Golden.” You, Rumi, and Mira both said before turning to Zoey who had said Takedown.
“I mean ‘Golden’. Definitely ‘Golden’.” Zoey. corrected with a sheepish laugh.
“It’s a song about the best of us.” Rumi nodded.
“Is your voice good?” You asked her.
“Never been stronger.” Rumi assured you with a newfound determination.
“Happy fans?” Zoey asked, reaching her hand out. You all joined hands before yelling together in unison, “Happy Honmoon!”

Yandere! Saja Boys x Reader
Part 1, Part 2
Tumblr media
When you lost your boyfriend, you hadn't known how to cope. Thats why you resolved for everything to stay just how it used to be. But no matter how much you had tried, it never worked. If anything, it just highlighted his absence in your life even more.
And this...your current predicament, was throwing you even more off track.
You were drowning. Not in water, but in silken sheets. The one called Roman had your waist in an arm, effectively pressing you down. You hadn't actually said anything much, just a 'Wow, your hair's pretty,' in a passive attempt to butter up your captors. As soon as you said that, however, it was like a fucking dam had broken.
It had the opposite effect of what you were hoping. He was pressing into you. His lips, peppering kisses all over your small face. You were being squeezed like a squeaky toy. Some of the kisses were so hard you thought they would bruise. Mustering all your remaining breath, you squeak out in utter disbelief,
"This is-- assault!! Lemme go!!"
Baby burst out laughing, observing all your passing emotions and expressions as if gazing at a particularly facinating sample under a microscope. The others stared at him. Beni, if anything, was the most moody of their group. Nothing, no-one had ever made him laugh like this.
Romance couldn't hear you, mumbling to himself incoherently between kisses, "So-- small-- so fucking-- soft--"
He was smothering you in his scent. It was sweet and intoxicating; cedarwood and roses. You hated it. When he nuzzled your neck, his pink hair tickled. You vaguely caught sight of a poster on the wall. Romance was his stage name? Yeah, no shit.
"Off her, Roman. We need to figure shit out."
You refused to thank Jinu for getting the lovesick, oversized man-pup off of you, though you really wished to when Roman reluctantly released you. You sat up, dizzy and reeling. Eyes wide as you stared into space, traumatized.
However, you were soon caught in the grasps of another. The Mysterious guy had you now, and his arms were just as strong as the others'. You tried kicking, even throwing your head back as abruptly as you could. He dodged it smoothly. Unable to help it, you helplessly whimper, "Are you even human?"
You were using your whole body weight to try heave him away and he still didn't even budge. As if their bodies were made of lead. They surely could not be regular boys. No matter how much they danced and worked out, this level of strength should be impossible.
"No." The court, quiet response tore through you. It was from Mystery. Rasped in your ear, the croon of a fallen angel. It should have been a joke, so why'd you flinch?
You broke out of your stupor and continued struggling. He grabbed your small thigh and eased it upwards, adjusting himself into a sitting position and now it looked like you were sitting in his lap.
Jinu smiled that pretty smile again. An act you were now growing to hate, "Well, well, I was going to tell you to make yourself comfortable but now I see, there was no need."
You were about to blow a fuse, when suddenly Jinu dropped his smile. He brought up a large hand, and cupped it as if wielding something for the world to see.
And then, you saw.
Fire. It was fire. Purple though, various shades of violet flickering and overlapping. Born of golden embers. It didn't have an unpleasant smell like regular man made fires, and was captivating to the eye. Where was it coming from? His palm. You opened your mouth to scream, but Mystery covered it easily.
"Malak is right, though. We're not human. We're demons. You knew that, didn't you?" You definitely should have. Afterall, the way you looked at them that time. You saw everything that was within them and felt it.
Utterly appalled, you shook your head. You were a vision. Eyes wide, jaw dropped. Cheeks flushed in shock. Fear in your gaze. You were stunned. Completely dumbfounded. They loved it.
Seeing your reply, that fucker, he smiled even wider, hand brushing through his dark hair, "Well now ya do. And now that you know, you see, we just can't let you off our radar."
The other boys slowly grinned as they realised the plan of Jinu. He had been conspiring. Just to tie you to them like this. A secret could sometimes be the greatest shackle of them all. This one would have a considerable weight on you. And no matter where you ran, where you would hide, it would cling to you. You poor, poor thing.
The silence was broken by your small burst of forced laughter. "Haha-- wait-- is this some sort of organized prank?"
Abby, who had been leaning against the door, teleported so that now he was seated upon the bed. Right. Next. To. You. You squealed, the sound muffled against Malak's palm.
The rest of them were this distinctively strong. But this guy, who was so clearly built and possessed such defined tight-packed abs? You couldn't fathom his strength. You cowered away the best you could. He saw it, flashing inhumanely sharp canines at you as he smirked.
"Does it still seem like a prank?"
"Are you going to kill me now?" You weren't going to lie and say that you hadn't been practicing your facial expressions in the mirror since your boyfriend had died, just so that you wouldn't be percieved as completely emotionless. But this did strike shock in you. Demons, ghosts and supernatural abilities and things like that were beyond human understanding, afterall.
But that ebbed away now. You were still submerged in your sorrow. Handsome demons threatening you now wouldn't change that.
Before Jinu could open his mouth to reply, you continued, subconsciously slouching against Malak. "You can't; it would be too difficult to hide. There are CCTVs everywhere on that street the police would see how you escorted me away last night. They'll trace my dissapearance back to you all somehow, and even if you avoid it, you can't afford the suspicions. It would leave too much of a mark on a debut band like yourselves."
Your voice was cool, calm and collected. Even if you didn't mean to, you occupied Malak's lap like a queen. Their queen. His hand that once covered your mouth now in your smaller one. You let go of it abruptly once you noticed.
"You've got some brains on you." Jinu finally spoke, voice breathy. Visage collected as if he didn't have a raging boner that he was thankfully successfully able to hide beneath baggy blue joggers.
"No, I just don't care. You can kill me if you want. Maybe I'll be able to meet him then atleast." Malak's arms tightened around you at the mention of your death. The way your voice softened, became that lovely, vulnerable melody as you mentioned your late lover.
Roman's eyes were wide. He pulled the blanket up over his lower half. "She's smart."
Abby leaned closer, grabbing part of the blanket for himself "She's stunning,"
Baby huddled in, doing the same. "And she's brave as shit."
You could only vaguely hear their musings in the background. Didn't pay any mind to it. Waited for the ravenette man's reply in particular.
"You make a good point. But we weren't planning to kill you in the first place," Jinu couldn't suppress his smirk. They didn't want you dead. They wanted you between them.
They wanted you wrapped in silk and kisses and themselves, to rever and worship you. But look at you right now. If you were to know how they felt you would run for the hills, let alone understand. How five men, no, demons, could be all over you within days of meeting. Or, according to you-- minutes of meeting.
The Baby-looking one couldn't give a shit about the technicalities. He grabbed you by the shoulders, yanking you from Malak. "Beni." The curtain-haired man hissed under his breath.
Beni held you down, his aquamarine locks swaying at the action. "Who's he and why are you so obsessed with him? What does he have that we don't?"
You were getting annoyed. They were manhandling you without any effort whatsoever. And you still just wanted to go home. Their words at this point, in the most respectable way possible, was mere noise to your ears.
"We have the money." Jinu furrowed his brows.
"The muscles," Abbott added, stretching and involuntarily almost snapping the top button of his sleep shirt. You eyed it cautiously, paranoid it would come shooting at your face.
"The looks," Malak brushed back the thick curtain of hair over his eyes and you gasped at the beauty you saw.
"The fame," Beni flipped his hair again, practically staring you down at this point.
"The chivalry," Roman eyes you down in a way that made you shudder.
His long, slender finger guided a line down your forearm, before he interlinked your hands again. Maybe if it was any other girl who actually enjoyed being surrounded by attractive men like this, she would have passed out in bliss
You were perplexed with their little monologues, but replied nonetheless, "It's not the same. You can have all of that and crank them up to the max but you'll never be him." Your words broke between grunts of effort of getting out from under Beni's grip.
"Can't be everyones type, no matter how hot you are." You couldn't help but add in the tiny little taunt. In your defense, your tone was literally monotonous; not too provoking. You just really wanted to get outta there.
By god, was that a mistake.
Within seconds, you were pressed into this weird weird, weird position with Beni between your legs, hands held above your head in just one of his. His face in your neck. You were too confused, shocked to even holler.
He was sucking. Your hand was in his hair, scrunching, tugging the brightly-colored locks to get him off of you. He moaned in that slutty deep voice of his and rutted down like an animal in heat. With every pull of his hair, his flesh became hotter and hotter. These guys were a diverse group. You feared they had some pretty diverse kinks as well.
For the next minutes, the room was filled with the sound of Baby's lips against your skin. Wet and intense. And the sound of your angry and slightly scared grunts and groans-- winces of effort of escaping from this. All in futility.
Knowing how much it riled him up having his hair pulled, you'd learnt your lesson. You were tugging on the back of his shirt now, tiny legs squirming and kicking around his muscular thighs.
"We-- were-- having-- a conversation!!" You choked out between grunts of effort of pushing him off.
Vaguely, you could hear the sound of Jinu's tuts. "We can't even have a conversation without you riling up one of our boys, [Y/N]," wait a minute, OUR? You cringed.
Beni heard this and gave a frustrated huff before he removed himself. Pass all the dumb technicalities, and he could pounce on you however, whenever he wished as many times as he liked. He smiled to himself. Even wider when you shot him a murderous glare from the bed.
You shot up, and you felt the humiliating sting of tears in your eyes from having your neck sucked so hard, being pressed in such a helpless position for minutes on end. Horrified, you wipe them harshly with the back of your hand. This was traumatizing to say in the least.
"It's not my...he just attacked me!! And how do you know my name??"
Jinu solemnly held up the identification card he nicked from your purse and dodged when you launched yourself at him. He caught you in his other arm instead, holding the card in the other hand well out of your not-so-long reach.
"We'll be holding onto your documents for now." The card dissapeared from his hand before your eyes in a puff of red smoke.
You still couldn't quite believe it. You waved your hand above his palm a few times. It had really dissapeared. Jinu chuckled at your unwitting cuteness. You stumbled back. You were screwed.
"My little soda pop~" Abby chuckled, pulling you close by the waist and nuzzling your waist. You went rigid. This guy was huge. At the same time, you really didn't want him to know how terrified you were of him.
"Pull your top down it's making me nervous." You finally said, making your little wincing noises as you tried to pull away. They held back coos at the adorable noises. His cropped top rested just above his navel, showing a teasing hint of his abs. And you should have found it sexy like all other chicks, but it was really just intimidating as hell right now.
No doubt, he took this the wrong way. He let go of your waist. You hadn't even taken a step and you were yanked right back by your wrist.
There, in front of everyone, he lay back and pulled your small form effortlessly atop him. "Wah--!" Your voice had gone high pitched, using your hand against his right chest as an anchor as you tried to pull your hand away. Your knees on either side of his huge thighs.
"All yours," He winked. He had your hand against his unyielding abs. Bare abs; his shirt hooked up in his other thumb.
He was utterly and completely shameless. Poor you, you didn't even know how to voice your surprise. It came in the form of hiccups. "Hic-- h-hic...lemme go.. let my hand go-!!"
You didn't notice but they all marvelled at the way your small body twitched with your adorable little hiccups. The way you helplessly tried to muffle them and failed miserably.
"What, [Y/N]? Too much for you to handle~?" He was so mean, the way he was taunting. He punctuated his question with a upwards roll of his hips. It caused your small hand to unwittingly slide downwards and elicited an excited moan from his throat. The action was so obscene, you stopped breathing for a moment in mortification.
"I-- I don't understand-- why are you...why are you all acting like this? Why not just let me go-- hic--peacefully?"
"You're looking down like this at me and asking that? You really don't know??" Abby raised a flared brow, smiling even more.
You squirmed some more. To no avail. "I don't know! I don't fucking know!! I don't even care that you're demons or whatever so just lemme go!!"
"Oh honey," Romance purred in your ear. He slowly pulled you off of Abby. The latter actually shivered as your touch slid off of his abdomen.
"We are never letting you go."
"I still can't believe we're not hot enough for her." Baby Saja leaned on your shoulder and looked up at you, giving you puppy dog eyes. But there was a faint shimmer that travelled over his flawless skin. A glisten, that momentarily revealed purple patterns crawling across his flesh.
You burst out crying. Not because of the patterns. "You said I could go home, you said-- *sob*-- just a few questions and I could leave--"
"[Y/N]" Jinu said your name with that honey-sweet and hypnotizing voice of this. Innocent, as if they weren't all driving you to your wit's end. His large hand went to your waist, the other cupping your cheek and flicking away the tears before they could stain.
"We like you." They said it. At the same time, five pairs of eyes all on you. You laughed.
"You don't know me." You denied. Jinu was having none of it.
"You do know us, even if you don't realize it. We know you. Better than anyone ever has, better than that dead boyfriend of yours--"

Day off with the Saja Boys
Tumblr media
Pairing: Saja Boys (Kpop Demon Hunter) X You (female)
Summary: You are the boys’ manager and you all deserve a day off. What you consider a day off is different than what they consider a day off. You want to pamper yourself and sit in a sauna, relaxing your body. Well the boys have other plans in mind for your body 😉
Warning: 18+ (mdni!), explicit smut content, p in v, fingering, dirty talk, breeding kink, creampie, multiple orgasms, all consensual.
A/N: I haven’t proofread it at all lol. I hope you enjoy it!
You wake up by nature's alarm clock with the sun passing over your eyelids. You stretch, getting up and looking at the time. 7:00 am, even on a day off you can’t help but wake up early. You go to your bathroom and brush your teeth so you can eat as your stomach growls loudly. You shuffle into the shared kitchen that you have with the saja boys. As their manager, it’s just easier to live in the same space as them.
You yawn and see Baby on the couch. Just like his name, he’s always up the earliest.
“Hi Baby.” You wave.
He looks up at you and beckons you over. You collapse next to him on the couch and he wraps his arms around your waist, putting his head on your chest.
You pet his back, "Did you sleep well?”
He nods and moves his head towards your neck where you are sensitive. His breath makes you wiggle.
“That tickles.” You whisper.
He grins and starts kissing your neck. You hum, extending your neck a bit and stroking his hair. He’s always affectionate in the morning. His kissing turns to sucking and you let out small sighs. He brings your hand down to his clothed dick that’s hard and you push his boxers down to stroke his dick. You lean forward to spit on it to lube up your hand to make it more pleasurable for him. You set an even pace and he whimpers in your ear and ruts into your hand. His hand travels to your little silk shorts and rubs you through them.
You moan,”Baby, it’s too early.”
“I need you.” He begs.
You sigh,”Baby.”
He pulls down your shorts and places two fingers into your damp pussy. He opens you up with a scissoring motion against your walls making his fingers become even wetter.
You moan quietly, "Everyone is sleeping.”
He withdraws his fingers and turns you over so your face is in the cushion and your ass is up. He thrusts into you at a fast pace that has you gripping the cushions and using them to muffle your moans.
“I just need to feel you.” He moans.
Even though your moans are quiet, the slapping of the skin is loud. He places one hand on your hair, making sure your head stays down and in a way using you as his only fleshlight.
“Ah, ah, ah! You feel so good! I just want to stay in you!” He whimpers.
He rubs your clit, making you cry out.
“Please cum! I need to feel you cum so bad! It feels so good when you cum! Squeezing my dick!” He begs you.
It doesn’t take long for your legs to tremble and clamp down on his dick while your orgasm crashes over you.
“Ah! Yes! Just like that! So good! Mhmm!” He moans and climaxes.
He pumps into you a few more times before pulling out and pulling your shorts and his back on.
You huff out air, “Well now I need a shower.”
He looks at you with puppy eyes, "Thank you!”, as if he’s an innocent child. As if he wasn't just pounding you a few moments ago.
You get up from the couch and start to walk towards your room when another door opens. It’s Mystery wearing a silver silk set of pjs, almost like yours. You hope he didn’t hear the activity in the living room.
“Good morning.” You whisper to him.
He waves and drags you into the room. He closes the door behind you and wraps his arms around your waist, kissing you. You let out a gasp of surprise and wrap your arms around his neck. He starts walking backwards towards his bed and sits on it. You follow to the point where you are standing in between his legs and he’s leaning up to kiss you. He leans away from you, breaking the kiss and forces you on your knees. He takes out his fully erect cock.
“You heard us in the living room?” You ask.
He nods, "Made me so horny. Now you have to fix it.”
He strokes himself a few times, staring at you. You lick your lips and lean over to place his cock in your mouth. You breathe in through your nose as you take his dick in your throat. He groans and it vibrates in your mouth. You moan back. You start moving your mouth up and down, hollowing your cheeks and moving your tongue along his shaft.
He moans, "Just like that baby.”
You suck faster, not wanting to disappoint him and brush the tip with your tongue a few times. He hisses and starts grabbing your hair, moving his hips up. You gag a little, causing you to moan and grab onto his thighs.
“Fuck yes! I’m gonna cum down your throat! And you will drink. Every. Drop.” He enunciates as he thrusts into your throat.
You cry out (muffled) as you feel the warm liquid hit the back of your throat. He pulls his dick out of your mouth and pulls you up to softly kiss you. He gives you slow pecks, tasting himself on his tongue and pulls down your shorts.
“What are you doing?” You ask him as he brings you to sit on his thighs.
“I just want to feel you for a little.” He places his once soft dick, now already hard, into your pussy.
You dig your nails into his shoulders from the intrusion. He sinks you down all the way and you whimper. Once he’s fully in, you are trying to control your breath and he doesn’t move. He has every intention of leaving you to cockwarm him. He runs his hands up and down your back, making you shiver. The shivering has his dick move up into you a little bit and you moan.
The sound of your moan, his demon nails come out and dig into your hips. Without warning, he pulls up and slams you down on his dick.
You cry out, "Mystery!”
He thrusts up into you and pulls your hair.
“I was gonna have you be a good girl and let you cockwarm me for a little but you couldn’t help it. Could you?” He asks.
You moan, "It’s not my fault.”
“Hmm. We will see about that.” He smirks and rubs your clit.
“Mystery!” You moan.
“Yeah! Yeah! Fuck! Clench on me just like that!” He keeps pounding into you.
All you can focus on is how good his dick feels thrusting up into you and how your pussy is tightening that you know you aren’t going to last.
“Mystery! I’m gonna cum!” You warn him.
“Yes! Cum!” He moans and you follow his command. He thrusts a few more times, unable to fight the tightening of your walls and fills you up.
“Jesus!” You exhale as you come down from your high.
He kisses your cheek, "You should probably shower with all the cum in you.”
You glare at him, "I wonder who’s fault that is.”
He kisses you again and untangles himself from you. You leave his room, entering yours and jumping straight into the shower. Who knew that this would be your life? Orgasming twice in one day by different boys. You need a raise.
The water is warm and relaxes your muscles. You sigh into the shower with your eyes closed, facing the water and feel a cool breeze behind you. You think maybe you left a window open and turned around to see Abby.
“Abby! What the hell!” You exclaim.
He smiles all goofy,”Hi!”
“Hello! Why are you in my shower?” You stare at him.
He smirks, "I want a turn.”
You gape at him. Next thing you know he’s picking you up, wrapping your legs around your waist and placing you against the tile while kissing you. He kisses like he is devouring your soul. His tongue suffocates you in a good way. You gasp at every pass his tongue makes and he trails down to your neck and to your boobs. He sucks on them one at a time, leaving hickies and leaving you gasping. He brushes one finger against your opening and sees you are dripping for him.
He impales you on his dick and gives you no time to adjust. He sets a brutal pace that has your mind scrambling and making you only moan. He is in you so deep and he is very thick. It feels so good to be stretched out by him.
“I knew this is what you needed.” He brags as he sucks on your tits.
You’re so glad he has such upper body strength because your body is giving up on its own strength based on how he is pounding into your pissy.
“Abby! Right there!” You cry out as he hits your gspot.
“I know how to make my girl cum!” He moans, "And I need you to cum on my cock now.”
You open your eyes, "I can’t just from this.”
He laughs, "Oh yes you will!”
He keeps hitting your gspot over and over again, making you see stars and leaning your head back against the wall, cumming so hard.
“Ah! Abby!” You cry out as he continues to fuck you.
“Told you so! Now take my cum!” He pushes up into you one last time, shooting his seed in you.
You lean your head on his shoulder as he slowly moves his hips a few times and takes out his dick, placing you on the floor. You grip his arms as your legs feel like jelly.
“Look at you all wrecked.” He licks his lips.
“Don’t lick your lips. I know what you’re thinking, get out.” You protest.
He holds up his hands and slips out of the shower room.
You lean your head against the wall. You just wanted to take a shower but can’t deny how you loved his dick. You clean yourself up, only wearing a robe and go to your room. Even though it’s supposed to be a relaxing day you can’t help but send some emails, ensuring that the events the boys have to go to are booked. At some point your eyes close with your laptop still on your lap.
The next time you open your eyes, you wake yourself up with a moan, gripping the sheets as you feel a tongue moving in you. You lean up as you feel another wave of pleasure through you and look down to see Romance eating you out. You barely have time to cry out his name as you cum on his tongue. He drinks up every bit you can give him.
He crawls up your body and kisses you, "Hi.”
“Hi.” You whisper back and brush your hand over his bangs.
You look over to see your computer closed and on the floor. He brings your face to look at him as he kisses you softly. You sigh and wrap your arms around his shoulders. He caresses your body like you’re made of glass and massages your thighs. He licks your neck and your boobs before making his way back down to your wet center. He places one finger in you to stretch you out a bit.
“So wet for me.” He hums before placing his hands over your head and thrusting in you.
He goes slowly, making sure to savor every moment in you. There’s no urgency, just the feeling of being connected.
“Oh, my love.” He whispers against your lips.
Your whimper and clench around his dick.
“You’re so good! My pretty girl!” He starts moving faster, chasing down our orgasms.
Your legs tighten around his waist and your nails scratch down his back. One particular thrust has your head thrown back, eyes closed and mouth wide open with all the moans falling out.
“Cum my love! Milk my cock!” He circles your clit.
“Oh fuck! Romance! Please don’t stop! Ah! Right there! Please! Ah Romance!” Your walls clench on his cock as you cum.
“Yes! Yes!” He cums in you, lazily thrusting as he rides out his high.
You whimper as he slips out of you. He grabs some of your clothes from the drawer, dresses you and kisses you softly. You blink up at him as you whisper a small thank you. He leaves your room and you follow to grab some food from the kitchen. However, once again, you are pulled into another room. Jinu has you pressed up against his locked door and doesn’t give you a chance to react as he furiously kisses you. He bites your lip and is digging his hands into your hips.
He releases your mouth, giving you a chance to breathe before he lifts you up and has your legs around his waist. He presses you against the door and grinds against you. You throw your head back as he bites your neck.
“Jinu!” You cry.
With one hand, he keeps you up and pushes his pants down before pushing yours down.
He positions his dick in front of your center, "No need to prepare. I know you still have his cum in you.”
He thrusts up into you and sets a relentless pace. Your body moves up and down the door from the force of his thrusts. From this position, your clit is rubbed against his pelvis each time causing your legs to tighten harder against him. You’re so sensitive that your orgasm builds fast and you are seeing stars.
“Fuck!” He cums after your walls squeezed him so tight.
You thought he would be done but he puts you on the bed and has you on all fours. He gives you no time to adjust and thrusts into you. Set at the same pace as before. He pulls your hair and you grasp at the covers.
“Look at you. Taking my cock so well” He praises.
You moan and your eyes flutter close.
“Uh nuh. Eyes open pretty.” He demands.
You open your eyes and see a mirror in front of you. You can see (and feel) how hard he is pounding against you and how wrecked you are starting to look.
“I bet you only look this wrecked on my dick, isn’t that right?”
You moan instead of an answer.
He yanks your hair a bit more, "Answer.”
“Yes Jinu!” You cry.
“Good girl!” He lets go of your hair and rubs your clit.
You try to squirm away but he holds you close.
“Be good. You know you want to cum.” He coos.
You start drooling, "Ah! Jinu! AH! Ah! Right there! Don’t stop! MMHPM!”
“Fuck!!!!” He cums in you as you start coming.
Your legs are twitching as he fills you. He pumps in you a few times and rests on your back, kissing it a few times. He pulls out and carries you to his bathroom where he has a tub of water already prepared. He slips in with you and washes you. He turns you to face him and kisses you softly. You open your mouth for him and he brings you closer and starts pulling you on his dick.
“No more.” You whisper.
His eyes pout, "Please just one more. Just wanna feel you.”
Before you can protest he’s slipping in. You can feel how thick and long he is in this position. He’s definitely the biggest and thickest dick out of all the boys. He thrusts into you, grabbing onto your hips and you can only hold onto his arms. You just started but by the way you have been cumming all day you know you can only last a few more moments.
“Jinu! I can’t! It’s too much!” You cry out.
He thrusts up even faster, making all the water splash around.
“Please just one more! I need you to cum again! Need to feel you squeeze my dick! I need you to be full of my cum! Only mine! Say your mine!” He begs you.
You sob, ”Yours Jinu!”
The next few thrusts have you over the edge and you cum so hard you black out for a moment. You come to when he cums in you for the last time that night. You blink in and out of consciousness, needing a full day of recovery after the sex marathon. You barely stay awake while he washes you up and tucks you into bed.
The next morning you wake up sore but fully satisfied. You get up and lock your door to continue your work. You hear knocks at the door but ignore them. The boys whine and beg you to let them in. You know they could just come in with their powers, however, they respect that your door is locked. After a few hours, you venture into the kitchen to eat and see the boys in the living room.
You point a water bottle at all of them, "Listen. I’m human. I don’t have as much stamina as you guys. So please keep your dicks away from me for the next few days.”
The boys all pout and groan except for one member who doesn’t like the tone you took.
As you walk back to the kitchen, a pair of arms wrapped around you and kisses your neck. You place your water bottle on the table and lean into the arms. While you are getting neck kisses, the person is grinding their dick into your ass. You whimper and turn in their arms.
“No more Jinu.” You say.
He responds with furious kisses and pulls your shorts down. He pushes you onto the table and has one of your legs up while he devours your pussy. His tongue moves in you like he’s trying to take your soul out from your pussy. You cry, grabbing his hair and leaning your head back on the table. While your eyes are closed from the pleasure, he pushes down his pants and pounds into you.
“Jinu!” You cry out.
His hips slap into yours hard and the whole table is shaking.
“I seem to recall you cumming a lot yesterday. Right?” He pants.
“Yes! Jinu!” You grip his arms.
“And now you say no more? That’s not your choice baby. I didn’t hear a thank you from all those times you came, did I?” He questions you. His nails and teeth turning sharp, the nails nip your hips leaving you with small scratches as he bites down on your neck.
You didn’t think you could moan any louder. It’s so hard to focus when he keeps hitting your gspot and touching your clit.
“You’re right Jinu!” You moan.
“You gonna tell me thank you?” He demands.
“Uh! UH! Yes! Ah! Thank you Jinu!” You wail.
“Good girl. Learning her manners. Cum for me again!” He summons a vibrator and places it on your clit.
The vibration makes you cum instantly and you see white. Your walls squeeze his dick so hard he has no choice but to cum in you. He slows down and stares at how delicious you look. You blink slowly and next time you open your eyes the boys are all surrounding you with their fully erect dicks out.
“You thought you were done? Well I’m going to keep fucking you as the boys take their turns having you suck their dick.” Jinu kisses your lips for reassurance.
It looks like the Saja boys will be taking another week to “rest”.

Word Count: 2.5k "𝖫𝗂𝗏𝖾 𝗂𝗇 𝖽𝖺𝗋𝗄𝗇𝖾𝗌𝗌, 𝖻𝗋𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗆𝖾 𝖻𝗋𝗂𝗀𝗁𝗍𝗇𝖾𝗌𝗌" ━━ Ever since you were a kid, all you wanted was to be cared for.
Tumblr media
“‘Cause I see your real face, it’s as ugly as sin. Gonna put you in your place cause you’re rotten within.” You sang, practicing the choreography easily. “When your patterns start to show it makes the hatred wanna grow out of my veins…”
Your voice trailed off and you sighed, collapsing on your bed with a huff. You rolled up your sleeve to reveal the spreading marks, glowing and pulsing each time you grazed your other hand on them. For almost your whole life, they’ve never spread this fast before.
Jinu said that his shame was what caused them to spread… What shame did you have then? The shame of these markings? But if so, then Rumi’s would’ve spread much faster than before right? You huffed. You couldn’t believe you were about to do something this stupid but… Maybe you should visit a mudang?
You groaned. Why were you now turning to spiritual stuff? You laid on your back, thinking for a moment before deciding you’d go to sleep early instead. You probably needed a good night’s rest anyways… Just as you walked over to your lamp to turn it off, a knock on your window interrupted.
You turned to see the large blue cat from before and the bird perched on top of its head. You frowned, but opened the door and entered your balcony. “Hello?” You greeted. The tiger stared at you before pushing into your hand as if telling you to pet him like before. “Where’s your owner?”
The tiger purred before biting your arm. It wasn’t a harsh bite, more delicate than anything as it seemed as though it was trying to guide you somewhere. “Ooookay…” You cringed at the horrible sensation of it’s drool coating your sweatshirt but didn’t pull away.
You followed the tiger into a portal before ending up on the street instead. You shivered at the cold wave of existential dread that came when you entered, but brushed it off and pulled your hood over your head instead. You couldn’t exactly be seen being hauled away by a blue tiger in public right?
“Isn’t it odd how we keep meeting like this?”
You turned to see Jinu with his hands in his pockets. You smiled slightly, the tiger now letting go of your arm. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you sent your cat to come get me.”
Jinu shrugged, feigning an innocent expression. You walked forward, now enshrouded in the darkness of the alleyway. “I actually have something to ask you, surprisingly.” Your gaze was fixated on the ground, not daring to look up at Jinu.
“My markings…” You rolled your sleeve up to reveal the spread of them going across your arms. “Why are they growing? You said that yours grew from shame but… I haven’t felt any shame.”
Jinu stared at them, his finger twitching slightly to reach out, before he curled his hand into a fist instead. “It is… Hard to identify shame.” He finalized.
You looked up at him, blinking, before letting out a chuckle. “That’s hardly an explanation. Nor does it give me any comfort.”
“Ah, I’m… Sorry.”
“It’s fine.” You shook your head, “After we seal the Honmoon…” Your voice trailed off, eyes glancing at Jinu before clearing your throat. “Rumi’s and my markings will be… Fixed.”
“How did you get your markings?” Jinu asked.
“Ah… I, uh, don’t know actually. It’s just something I’ve been born with like Rumi.” You looked at them, furrowing your brows at the noticeably drastic changes, “We’re not related though so…”
“And you don’t hear Gwi-Ma in your head either?” Jinu asked. You shook your head, your eyes focusing on the cat now rubbing on your legs.
“No…” You muttered.
“Then you’re lucky too.” Jinu said. He stayed quiet for a while, tilting his head up to look at the purple colored sky.
Did negative thoughts count as Gwi-Ma speaking in your head? No, you didn’t think so. Everyone had negative thoughts sometimes, even demons have them replaced by Gwi-Ma’s manipulation. If so… Were they really that different from humans?
“Maybe… You can be lucky too.” You thought out loud. Jinu turned to you with a confused look on his face. “When the Honmoon is sealed, all demons will be banished to be with Gwi-Ma for all eternity. You can be on our side. You’ll be rid of the markings.”
Jinu paused, opening his mouth to speak before you added. “It doesn’t mean you’ll live without your memories of misery. At least, I think so.” You mused before finally looking at Jinu with a smile, “Jinu, if you help us win the Idol awards, you can stop hearing Gwi-Ma’s voice inside your head…”
“What makes you think the Honmoon can save a guy like me?” Jinu asked, eyes carefully tracing the street in consideration.
“You tried to help your family. We all…” Your voice trailed off, masking the wince of a sudden headache with clearing your throat. “We all make mistakes.”
Jinu scoffed, “It’s not that simple.”
“It’s never that simple.” You challenged, “If the Honmoon can… Help me and Rumi with our mistakes, it surely can with yours.”
There’s a softening. A stillness in his eyes as he looks at you. As if his entire world has just settled into place. His pupils dilated just slightly, eyes warm with a kind of quiet awe, and for a moment, time seems to hush around the two of you. It’s not dramatic, not always flashy. It’s subtle. Sacred.
Familiar, even to you. You feel as if you’d done this before, that you’d felt this way before. You cleared your throat, “You always stare at someone like that?” You asked.
Jinu blinked out of his trance, turning away to the blue tiger sitting in front of him with a tilted head and crossed eyes. “It’s just… You remind me a lot like someone I knew.” Jinu said. You didn’t ask anything else because it seemed like he didn’t want to elaborate any further, but it warmed your heart either way.
His words carried the weight of a thousand unspoken memories and the quiet certainty of realization and recognition. It’s the look that said… You mattered. Not because of what you’ve done or said, but simply because you’re… You.
“I’ll take that as a compliment,” You smiled, now turning away, “I’ve gotta change out of this wet sweatshirt before I start getting overstimulated so… Just think about my offer?” You turned your face to the side, looking at Jinu in the corner of your eye, “Give me a message if you accept it, Jinu.”
- - -
You explained the plan to Rumi, to which she agreed with. Jinu would help you win the Idol Awards, and you would seal the Honmoon when it was over. “Should we tell the others?” you asked, walking backstage to get ready for the rehearsal.
“... No.” Rumi decided, “They… They won’t understand.”
“Are those Celine’s words or yours?” you teased, trying to lighten the moment—but she didn’t smile. Not even a flicker. Your grin faltered. You stepped closer, placing a hand on her shoulder with quiet concern. “Rumi…”
“These lyrics are so… Wrong.” She said, her arms crossing tightly over her chest like she was bracing for something colder than judgment.
“Yeah…” you muttered, wincing as a dull throb pulsed through your skull. “Pretty hypocritical of us, I get it.”
“It’s fine. I think we can get through this.” Rumi nodded, but her voice didn’t carry much weight. You hesitated, studying her a moment longer before nodding back and stepping onstage beside her.
The music started, echoing faintly across the space as the four of you moved into formation. “Time to put you in your place ‘cause you’re rotten within.” You sang, turning with the practiced motion.
“When your patterns start to show it makes the hatred wanna grow out of my…” Rumi’s voice trailed off. She stopped moving entirely, her face blank and filled with hesitation.
“What’s going on? Why are we stopping?” Mira asked, her tone sharp with confusion.
“It’s just… These lyrics are throwing me off.” Rumi muttered, “I don’t think they’re right just yet.”
“Seriously? Now?” Mira frowned, eyebrows pulling in.
“No, it’s fine.” Zoey laughed weakly, already flipping through her lyric journal. “It’s the second verse, right? Uh, how about… ‘When the patterns start to show, the whole world will finally know that you’re depraved’?”
You shook your head at the same time Rumi did. The movement was subtle, but Mira noticed. Her frown deepened as her gaze shifted toward you, questioning. You couldn’t meet her eyes. You looked down at the scuffed black floor instead.
“Um, ‘My sword will happily show you to your grave?’” Zoey offered again. Rumi shook her head, “‘You will be pummeled till no remains—’”
“No, Zoey, it’s just—It’s the whole song.” Rumi sighed, weariness etched into her voice.
“Oh… Okay, great!” Zoey said, trying to laugh it off, but her voice went quiet as her eyes fell to the notebook in her hands. “Well, then, I might as well tear these all up!”
“Rumi, we don’t have time to change the lyrics even if we wanted to.” Mira said, stepping closer now. “The Idol Awards are tomorrow.”
“Well, I… I don’t think I can sing this song.” Rumi argued, her voice small but firm.
“It’s… So hateful.” You added.
The tension between the four of you was like static before Bobby stepped in, his timing almost too perfect. “Hey, girls, just wanted to bring some last-minute pick-me-ups…” He smiled, though it was clearly strained, placing the bag down. “I know things have been really stressful lately and you’ve been working so hard on the Idol routine.”
Then, a sharp pink pulse hit you, like static in your bones. The headache returned in full force, blooming behind your eyes like fire. You winced, though hit it well. You turned and ran. There wasn’t time for more arguing, you had civilians to save.
- - -
“Seriously, what is your problem?” Mira asked as she sliced through a demon's body.
Mira’s words ring in your ears like an accusation you can’t deflect. You know you’re hiding something but it isn’t out of malice. It’s out of fear. Out of uncertainty. Out of not knowing if you’re right or wrong. The Honmoon. The song. The dreams. The missing people. The silence where there should be cheering fans.
“I told you, the song, it’s-”
“I’m not talking about the song, I’m talking about you and Y/N!” Mira said. You turned your head, looking at her before pulling a demon closer to you and stabbing it with your dagger. “Why are you both questioning everything that we stand for when we’re so close to sealing the Honmoon? What are you two not telling us?!”
“I-I-”
“What are you hiding from us?” Mira asked, her hand on Rumi’s shoulder just as the purple haired girl was about to pull away.
“Not everything is about your insecurities, Mira!” Rumi yelled. You widened your eyes, looking between the two of them with a pained expression.
You stood between them, looking at both their expressions. Zoey stood next to Mira with widened eyes. The whole tunnel that shrouded you with darkness suddenly blew past you, the skyline of the city and mountains coming into view.
“Mira, I-I didn’t mean…”
“Would you two stop fighting each other and look?!” Zoey yelled, pointing to the huge hole coming from the upper bridge.
“Why is it so big…?” You muttered. Multiple hungry demons piled on top of each other, ready to ravage any human souls on the train.
“If you’re with us, prove it.” Mira challenged, looking at you and Rumi before focusing her attention back on the demons.
You got into position before lunging with the four of them at the herd of demons. Your whip cracked like gunfire, splitting the air above the demon's heads. One lunged forward, to which you moved your shoulder forward, elbow locked and fingers snapping the whip at the end. The tip wrapped around its wrist, pulling it forward before plunging your dagger into its chest.
“It’s a take down, Imma take you out and it ain’t gonna stop!”
The second demon charged, causing you to spin left and let the tail of your whip loop low around its leg. You pulled hard, dropping its balance before throwing the dagger into its chest and disintegrating it.
You leaned in, whip in a cross-body strike. The tip lashed across another demon's face, causing it to screech before bursting into a pink dust.
“Jung shin eul noh koh null jib balb goh! Kal eul seh gyuh nuah! You’ll be begging and crying, all of you dying. Never miss my shot!”
When another lunged again, you dropped the whip and caught behind the ankle. In a wrapping move, the tail tangled briefly. You yanked hard, turning your hips and unbalancing it successfully. You threw your dagger again.
“I don’t think you’re ready for the takedown! A demon with no feelings don’t deserve to live… It’s so obvious…”
You widened your eyes, watching as another demon came swinging with a club at Rumi, who had suddenly paused their demon massacre. “RUMI!” You shouted, latching your whip onto her waist and pulling her forward. The momentum caused you to fly forward, sending a kick to the larger demon's head.
The lurking demons overran the plane. You knelt down, helping Rumi up as Mira finished off the last of the demons with a shockwave of blue energy.
Mira turned to look at you and Rumi, disappointment evident in her eyes, but just as she was about to say something, you spoke up first. “The passengers!” You realized.
You entered the train, searching through the seats to find at least one person, only to be disappointed at the sight of the missing people. What were you going to do now?
The train stopped at its nearest station, the four of you walking out with saddened looks on your faces. “Whatever you think about the song, it doesn’t matter right now.” Mira spoke up, her voice breaking slightly. “Everything is at stake and we just need to get through this together.” She walked away, not daring to meet yours or Rumi's gaze.
“You know I’m always on your side but… It’s really hard to understand this time.” Zoey muttered, turning to look at the two of you, “We can’t win this without your voices…” She finalized before walking away with Mira.
You and Rumi exchanged glances. Something’s wrong. And not just with the mission. With you. With Rumi. With the entire foundation everything’s been built on.
You look at her, your partner in this, and the weight in her eyes mirrors your own. The kind of weight you carry when truth is clawing at the inside of your chest but you’re afraid to open your mouth and let it out. Because if you speak it aloud, it might undo everything you’ve fought for…
Zoey says they need your voice. Mira says you’re keeping secrets. She’s not wrong. But they don’t see what you see. They don’t hear what you hear in that song. They don’t feel how wrong it’s beginning to sound.

Word Count: 2k "𝖫𝗂𝗏𝖾 𝗂𝗇 𝖽𝖺𝗋𝗄𝗇𝖾𝗌𝗌, 𝖻𝗋𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗆𝖾 𝖻𝗋𝗂𝗀𝗁𝗍𝗇𝖾𝗌𝗌" ━━ Ever since you were a kid, all you wanted was to be cared for.
Tumblr media
You hummed under your breath as you walked down the street with a packet of dried fruit. It was odd, usually you never craved fruit like this, but this week seemed to be different.
As you walked down the oddly lonely street, an unnaturally blue color down an alleyway caught your eye. You turned your head only to see nothing there once again. You dug your hand into the bag, eyes still on the alleyway, and chewed another piece.
A bird suddenly flew down at your feet, looking at you with a little hat perched on its head. You knelt down, tilting your head to the side. It followed with its yellow eyes suddenly bursting into three. You grimaced, backing up.
You looked back up to see another pair of round yellow eyes staring back at you from the alleyway. Was the fruit getting to your head? The yellow eyes moved forward, appearing in the sunlight to reveal itself. It was a… Giant blue tiger?
You hesitated before walking forward, causing the bird to fly away. “Hi?” You spoke, reaching your hand out to pet it. It eyed your hand, frog-blinking before rubbing into it. “Aww… Hi…” Your tone changed from confused to soft in a matter of seconds. “You’re so cuuute.”
“I know.” A familiar said behind you. Although you couldn’t see his face, you could tell his face was smug.
You turned to see Jinu standing with his hands in his pocket. You leaned on your hip, the smile on your face replaced with a serious look. “What are you doing?”
“Just… Talking. I was planning on meeting you last night but you kind of…” He pointed to the bruise on his face and the cuts on his cheek.
You pursed your lips, yeah you really did rough him up… You did feel bad. He wasn’t exactly planning on killing Rumi right? And you trusted her judgement on deciding not to kill him while he was monologuing. And just because he was annoying didn’t mean that he deserved to be roughed up like that right?
You sighed internally. This was just like you. Oh! I wanna punch this guy, but then you hurt him and all of a sudden feel bad? Ugh… Your emotions always made you do things that contradicted them.
“Sorry… About that.” You said, rubbing the back of your neck with a guilty expression before clearing your throat. “What were you doing with Rumi?”
“I saw her markings.” Jinu said, “And I know you have them too.”
“How did you know that?” You asked. You doubted that Rumi would’ve told him, and no one else knew, not even Celine.
“I… You really don’t remember me?” Jinu asked.
“Of course I do? We literally fought yesterday.” You blinked, well, maybe this guy wasn’t an evil demon, but he was definitely… Crazy.
“Right, of course.” Jinu nodded, clearing his throat. The two of you stared at each other, the silence even more awkward with his cat rubbing on your legs.
You smiled immediately, scratching the cat’s ear. It surprisingly purred at the movement, his eyes closed with a smile on his face. You laughed, cupping the cat’s face.
Jinu watched you with wonder, staring at you with a slightly dazed look. You were so… Pretty. Perfect. It had been so long since he’d heard laughter that wasn’t careful or performative. Yours was small, sudden, almost like you regretted letting it escape. He didn’t. He wanted to make you laugh again.
You cleared your throat, looking at Jinu. “The only reason why I haven’t killed you right now is because… I heard what you had said. About your family… And your lover.”
“I understand how it is to care about people. I guess I sort of… Understand why you sacrificed your soul for that.” You said. You couldn’t believe what you were doing! It was stupid to try and understand, you knew that. Not because you didn’t mean it but because you did. “But if you ever think about using Rumi or mine’s secret against us, I won’t hesitate on killing you.”
“... Right.” Jinu swallowed. You didn’t remember him but… He remembered you. That was what counted right? This kindness you had knew no bounds. Even when you hated him. He’d rather have any connection with you then no connection at all.
He watched as you turned away, giving one last pet to the tiger. Derpy (Yes, I believe the tiger's name is Derpy) made a noise of discomfort, standing up from his sitting position to follow you before looking back at Jinu. Depry let out a grumble, sitting down on the ground almost like a child crossing their arms and pouting.
“It’s okay. We’ll meet her next time.” Jinu said, stroking Derpy’s head as his bird flew down and landed on his shoulder.
- - -
“You know you’ll never beat us. Your plan will never work. We’re gonna…” Mira and Zoey both said before mumbling. You groaned alongside the two of them.
“This is… Really bad.” You said. Anxiety was creeping into you, not just because the Idol Awards was coming soon and you guys had no idea how to write this song, but also because Jinu now knew yours and Rumi’s secret.
“We only have to write the best diss track ever to crush the Idol Awards, or there’ll be a demon apocalypse.” Mira said sarcastically, flopping onto the bean bag and throwing three darts that landed on Jinu’s face perfectly.
“Yeah! We gotta get up close and insult their stupid faces!” Zoey said, crawling from her chair to the floor. “Their nasty, disgusting, not beautiful… Perfectly dewy, symmetrical, shimmering…”
“Zoey…” You sighed.
“Okay, enough! I’m taking these down!” Mira finalized, ripping off the multiple posters and pictures of the Saja Boys. “Just like how we’re gonna take down these boys!”
“Take down?” You muttered, turning to Rumi who perked up at the word.
“Takedown!” Rumi stood, “That’s the song! It’s a takedown!”
“So sweet, so easy on the eyes…” Zoey started, thinking hard as you came up beside her. “But hideous on the inside.”
“Nice.” Mira nodded.
“You like it?” Zoey asked excitedly.
“Sounds great, Zoey!” You complimented, to which she practically jumped for joy at.
“Whole life spreading lies but you can’t hide…” Mira declared.
“Baby, nice try.” You finished.
“Woah, that’s sounding good.” Mira smiled, crossing her arms.
Rumi nodded, finding the rhythm of the song. “I’m ‘bout to switch up these vi-” She coughed, her voice suddenly giving out. “Sorry guys.”
“No, take it easy.” Zoey placed her hand on Rumi’s forearm.
“Yeah, rest that voice for Idol Awards.” Mira reassured her.
“I’m sure your voice’ll be better in a few days, Rumi.” You nodded, “After all, Huntrix wouldn’t be Huntrix without you!”
The three of you sat down, now brainstorming the background music and more of the lyrics.
“You think this is good?” You asked before repeating the lyrics you wrote down, “'Cause I see your real face and it's ugly as sin. Time to put you in your place 'cause you're rotten within’?”
“Yes! Ohhh I love that!” Zoey nodded, “And then we could add, ‘When your patterns start to show, it makes the hatred wanna grow outta my veins’?”
“I like that.” Mira nodded. You and Rumi exchanged glances before nodding. Was this hypocritical of the two of you? That you were talking about their patterns but had ones of your own?
No… No because this was technically about themes stealing others souls. You and Rumi haven’t hurt or killed anyone in your lives.
“Oh! How about ‘A demon with no feelings. Doesn’t deserve to live’?” Mira suggested excitedly.
“It’s so obvious!” Zoey said.
“That could be what comes after. That it’s obvious what they’re doing?” You suggested.
“Yesss! Oh this song is gonna crush them!” Mira wrote down the lyrics onto her piece of paper, the three of you doing the same as well.
All of a sudden, a pink pulsing echoed throughout the studio and you all exchanged glances. You nodded, leaving the studio and quickly going after the demons. You’d be able to figure out the song once this next wave was done.
- - -
“All right, team, I know everything is all Saja, Saja, Saja but we’re gonna turn it into Huntrix, Huntrix, Huntrix! Yay!” Bobby said, his jazz hands adding a bit of flair to his words. “These fans slept on the sidewalk, overnight!”
“Thanks, Bobby.” You smiled as he tapped away on his phone. You turned to the three of them, lifting up your pen.
“Happy fans, happy Honmoon!” The four of you cheered before separating.
“Let’s bring them in! Welcome.” Bobby announced. A wave of fans dressed in purple came through the door, all practically running to see you.
You smiled at the amount of people that had come. You didn’t know that this many people really liked Huntrix. Well, you did, but you weren’t expecting to see it fully. You usually didn’t attend many signings like this.
“Hey, hey, single file, no pushing.” Bobby said to the five people dressed in sleeping bags.
“And who should I make this out to?” Rumi asked.
“‘To our biggest fans.’”
The sleeping bags piled to the floor, revealing the Saja Boys. “It’s the Saja Boys!” The crowd murmured, clearly excited by the second Kpop group.
The four of you groaned, glaring at them with a very reasonable amount of anger. “It is an honor.” Bobby smiled before yelling, “Table, now!”
As soon as the table was set down, half the crowd went to where the Saja Boys were signing. You and Rumi exchanged glances, realizing the stakes. You stood up, a soft smile hiding the annoyance underneath. “THe Saja Boys can sit with us!” You said, “We wouldn’t mind.”
“What? Y/N!”
“Y/N, what are you doing?”
“We need all the fans we can get.” You said, Rumi nodding in agreement. Security pushed the table next to yours, causing the fans to go back into their original line.
Jinu sat down on your right, leaning in close. Uncomfortably close. Rumi eyed you, you glanced at her before nodding. She paused for a moment before nodding as well and going back to signing her posters.
“I didn’t think you liked sharing.” Jinu said, resting his head on his hand.
“There are some things that I’m fine with sharing.” You said, turning to the fan in front of you and giving them a smile as well as a signed poster.
Jinu opened his mouth to retort before quickly closing it. He was going to mention your secret, but he knew you. You never really liked going back on your word. And when people you cared about were in the mix, he was sure you’d actually kill him.
He turned to Rumi, talking to her for a moment. You eyed the two of them, scoffing before pausing. For some reason, you didn’t feel like being around them anymore. Something about them talking to each other rubbed you the wrong way? You must’ve been irritated about something happening earlier this week. Why does it feel like there’s something wrong with you then? You must’ve been stressed too.
You breathed in, calming yourself as you handed out another signed poster. “Hello!” You smiled at four girls standing before you. Jinu turned back towards you, watching how easily you could mask your annoyance. He guessed that some things never changed.
“Hi!” The four of them waved. “We actually, uh have something for you!”
“Oh, really? You didn’t have to.” You smiled. The four of them handed you a letter with their names signed on it. “Thank you girls so much.” You signed the poster with their names and handed it to them.
You loved fans that were like this. You enjoyed reading their letters, minus the creepy ones, and seeing how much of an impact you made on them. As they walked off, you turned to see Jinu staring at you. “What?” You asked.
“Nothing.” He turned back, giving out a signed poster of himself to a fan. “And here I thought we’d be getting along after our last meeting.”
“I’m not trying to associate myself with someone who’s helping Gwi-Ma.” You accused, handing out another poster.
“I’m helping myself.” Jinu fumed. “He’s promised to erase my memories, and those voices in my head will be gone.”
“Are you whispering?” A fan suddenly asked. The two of you glanced at each other before quickly signing a poster and handing it off to them.
“Your secret’s safe with me.” She said, pointing to her shirt. You blinked before giving her a tense smile as she walked off. You forgot how weird fans could be sometimes.
“Just because Gwi-Ma is erasing all your memories doesn’t mean you won’t keep your shame. It’ll still be there.” You challenged, now staring directly at him, “Have you ever considered that the shame of hurting others because of your own selfish desires is the real reason you're a demon?”
Jinu widened his eyes, a flash of recognition appearing across his face. He’d heard that line before. He’s heard you say it time and time again which meant that on the inside, you were still you.
“Excuse me, Mr. Jinu.” A voice snapped him out of his staring, causing him and you to turn to a little girl standing before you. “I made this for you.” She said, lifting up a piece of paper.
“Uh, for me?” He asked, taking the sheet of paper and looking over it with a surprising amount of care.
You smiled at the cute girl before turning to Jinu, “You really wanna be working for a demon who wants to end a world that she’s living in?”
Jinu paused, the cheers going deaf to his ears. He glanced at you, longing evident, before looking at his drawing once again.
You clapped alongside the crowd, “Woo Jinu.” You said, laughing at his expression. He looked so similar to a lost puppy.
Rumi followed your movements, clapping alongside you as well, “Give it up for Jinu!” She clapped.
The crowd cheered louder, bouquets of flowers being thrown at the Saja Boys. Mira leaned forward, catching you and Rumi’s cheering. “‘Give it up for Jinu’?” She repeated with a raised eyebrow.
“Unfortunately, the Saja Boys have to run. Thank you, everyone.” Jinu announced, his hand tightening around the drawing as the Saja Boys exited the stage.
You let out a breath. Why was Jinu’s presence so suffocating? You could feel him everywhere and it seemed like every time HUntrix went out for anything the Saja Boys were there. Was he tracking your guys’ movements?
Bobby came up with his phone, a grand smile on his face as he showed you, Zoey, and Mira the new posts on Instagram. “The Internet loves this, and the internet is never wrong!” He said, scrolling through the feed. “Y/N x Jinu! I don’t know what fanfiction is but it sounds important! Zoeystery. Where did they come up with that?”
“Miro-mabby?” Mira gritted her teeth.
“Aw, you’re so cute together!” Zoey awed. You stared at the feed before rubbing your temples. You were too tired to do this…
(A/N: What if I told ya'll I'm making another verse for Y/N?)

Masterlist - Next Chapter
Word Count: 3.2k "𝖫𝗂𝗏𝖾 𝗂𝗇 𝖽𝖺𝗋𝗄𝗇𝖾𝗌𝗌, 𝖻𝗋𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗆𝖾 𝖻𝗋𝗂𝗀𝗁𝗍𝗇𝖾𝗌𝗌" ━━ Ever since you were a kid, all you wanted was to be cared for.
Tumblr media
Crowds from all around Korea gathered to see Huntrix's Final World Tour Concert! The buzzing energy from the cheers and excitement practically filled the air with a golden glow. Something about tonight seemed different, like something would... Change (Though it might've been because Huntrix would soon take a long hiatus).
"Mira's my favorite. She's the visual and lead dancer of Huntrix. Nobody can move like Mira." A fan with glasses dressed in a pink Mira hoodie said with a smile. "Apparantly, she's the black sheep of her family."
"I don't know why because she's so cool." A fan with a sweater and beanie scoffed, "Who else could wear a sleeping bag to the Met Gala?"
"Yeah, she's our role model." A younger fan said with her other two friends behind her. The three all had straight faces on as they stared into the camera. "She's the best. Love her."
"We're here for Zoey!" A group dressed in green and carrying signs said excitedly. "She's the rapper and lyricist."
"She grew up in America. Somewhere called Burbank, USA." A boy with a bowl cut and freckles spoke.
"She's the cutest maknae!" The girl next to him smiled.
"But when she raps, she goes hard." The boy nodded.
"She gets really scary. Like, so scary, 'You better watch out'"" The girl said as if threatening the man holding the camera instead of giving an example.
"We love Rumi!" Two girls smiled. "She's pop-star royalty. Her mom, a Sunlight Sister, died when she was a baby. But Celine raised her and built Huntrix around her."
"Rumi's voice is just incredible, like..."
"It brings us to tears!" Three grown men holding and dressed in Huntrix's merch sobbed.
"Y/N's obviously the best!" A girl with her boyfriend squealed, "She's so sweet! Her and Rumi are rumored to have known each other when they were younger though!"
"It makes sense they grew up together." The girl's boyfriend nodded. "They both have really good voices."
"Even though Y/N and Rumi are usually grouped together, Y/N's her own person too! She's got more of a softer tone unlike the rest of the girls, which we love!" Three girls said in scary unison, "They're taking a break, and they need it, but we're gonna miss them so much!"
The three girls started to clap and cheer, the rest of the crowd along with them, as the concert was about to start. The stage lights casted strobing shadows across the city skyline, painting dancing figures on the rooftop ledge. Cheers for the kpop idols could be heard even when you were as far as you had been.
"Okay, this is our biggest show yet." Rumi said. The four of you were huddled together, serious looks on your faces as you tried to take in the anxiety clawing at your hearts.
"The most songs." Zoey grinned.
"The most moves." Mira said seriously.
"Which means the most carb loading." You chuckled.
The four of you broke the huddle, raising your arms to cheer. "For the fans!" The four of you shouted excitedly.
You were so happy you were here with your greatest friends. Something about always being with them made you feel so... Happy. Usually you'd never be this content and more jittery during something as nerve-wracking as this, but you couldn't help but feed off of the other girl's emotions.
"I need like 10,000 calories to get through the choreo." Zoey said, stuffing some kimbap into her mouth.
"A thousand percent. A gajillion percent." Mira nodded.
"Mira, that's not a real number." Rumi commented.
"It is for our fans." Mira said.
"Our fans deserve the best." You smiled, eating your food with much more decency than they were. Sure, you were hungry, starving even, but you really didn't want to risk staining your new costume for this performance.
You watched as Rumi shoved down a whole roll of kimbap before letting out a cough. You laughed before quickly patting her on the back. She coughed, wheezing for a moment before finally swallowing it with a sigh. "Thanks, Y/N," Rumi said.
"No problem." You smiled.
"Okay, time for our pre-game ramyeon!" Rumi announced, grabbing the four cups and handing them to the three of you. You held yours, the title "Amen to Umami" staring back at you. Zoey had come up with the funny wording.
"Happy fans, happy Honmoon!" The four of you beamed, cheering your styrofoam cups of ramyeon together.
"Wait, there's no water in these." Zoey realized, a sad expression now on all of your face. You sighed, standing up and going to the oddly tense flight attendant who was pouring... Coffee into a flower pot?
"Um, excuse me, miss?" You stood in front of her.
"Yes, Miss Hunter... Ix?" The attendant asked with a strained smile and oddly jerky movement.
"We asked for hot water-" You said before being cut off.
"Right away. You're welcome. Arrideverci. Goodbye." She said, quickly walking away. You furrowed your brows. You never liked being cut off. Something about it always made you feel like you were being ignored.
"Uh, oookay." You muttered, walking over and flopping down on the couch with a huff.
Rumi checked her phone, realizing it was their manager, "Hi, Bobby!" She said, sitting up next to you with her arm resting on your shoulder. You leaned into it, craning your head in the camera.
"Um, what are you doing?" Bobby asked, panic evident in his voice. You furrowed your brows, why was he so nervous? Was there a backstage malfunction?
"About to eat our pre-show ramyeon." Rumi said, turning the camera over to Zoey who was chomping on some fishy chips.
"Pre-show? What about the show-show?" Bobby asked, turning his camera over to the thousands of people waiting in the audience. You widened your eyes, about to say something before his phone was suddenly taken.
"Hi!" Four girls squealed, "We love you!"
"Oh, we love you too!" The four of you praised, trying to all fit into the camera. You loved your fans. They were so supportive and loving, you appreciated that so many positive people were drawn to Huntrix.
THe phone was passed on to the group of crying men, the four of you started to sob alongside them as well, "That's so sweet."
"Yo! I just got this!" A man said, snatching the phone and lifting his shirt up to show the tattoo plastered on his side. You, Rumi, and Zoey grimaced as Mira chuckled. That was going to stay on his body forever, what if he regretted it later on?
"Gimme that!" Bobby panted, finally being able to steal his phone back, "Why are you so late?!"
"Late?" You repeated, clearly just as confused as he was.
"Fifty thousand fans are waiting for you." Bobby said as the four of you gazed out the window to realize that the plan had flown past the concert where Huntrix was supposed to be performing. "They made cute signs and everything. How can you be late? I wish you were here."
You turned back to the flight attendants, a suspicious look on your face as well as the others. "Don't worry, Bobby. We'll be there in just a bit!" You said before Rumi hung up.
Rumi and Mira groaned while you pinched the bridge of your nose and Zoey continued to munch furiously on her snacks. "I didn't even get to finish my ramyeon!" Mira complained.
"Why do they always interrupt our snacking?" Rumi asked to no one in particular.
"They will face my wrath!" Zoey yelled.
You stood up to the woman, your arms crossed and an unimpressed look on your face, "You're a demon, right?" You asked, raising an eyebrow at her.
"What do you mean?" She frog-blinked.
"You're smiling all weird, watering plants with coffee, and those guys don't really look like they know what they're doing." You sighed.
"Oh, we were just-"
You cut her off like she did to you before, stomping on her foot to reveal her demon self. The demon working as the cart attendant then turned into a blue colored demon and two other ones appeared as well. "You and your friends are really mean for interrupting our snacking all the time." You said, stretching out your arms, "The rest of you can come out, we're in a hurry!"
A hulking red one appeared, large blue horns and carved out swirls on its skin noticeable. You wondered how the uniform could stretch large enough to fit his huge stature.
"Oh, you got the patterns." Mira said, feigning sympathy before saying, "Now you gotta die."
"The only ones dying tonight are your..." Mira burped, interrupting him. You held back a chuckle, letting it come out as a cough instead. "Uh, I said, the only ones dying tonight are your-"
Rumi's stomach gurgled and she quickly thumped on her chest. "I'm sorry, what?" Rumi asked. You stood there, still stretching out your body. This was also another reason why you didn't eat as fast as the other girls did.
"Your fans! We're gonna eat your fans!" The large one yelled angrily, his voice distorted and low.
"Whoa! No.
"No, thank you!"
"Oh... I don't know about that."
"No, no, no."
"Not our fans." Rumi said, a small smirk appearing on her lips as she placed her hands on her hips.
"When you mess with our fans..."
"We need to make it hurt."
Glowing lines of pulsing energy appeared, shimmering like a warning call to the demons.
"Ugh, you came at a bad time"
Rumi smirked, resting her arm on your shoulder. Your arms were now uncrossed, an unimpressed look on your face as you looked at the demons coldly. They shivered at the sight.
"But you just crossed the line"
Mira tugged on her fingerless leather gloves, her expression serious, while Zoey gave a sweet yet unsettling smile, stretching out her arms. This was going to be a good pre-show warmup.
"You wanna get wild?" Rumi's voice sharpened, "Okay, I'll show you wild."
As if on cue, Mira and Zoey broke formation, charging at the nearest demons with surprising strength and even more surprising movies. You confidently strutted beside Rumi, smiling to yourself as the two girls easily took down the demons.
"Better come right, better luck tryin', gettin' to our levels"
Rumi nudged your shoulder, signaling you to move to the kitchenette. You nodded, hands slightly shaky as you grabbed the kettle and filled it with water.
"Cause you might die, never the time, tryna start a battle"
A demon lunged. Rumi raised one finger in warning without missing a beat, watching the water slowly fill the kettle. Another demon came from the side and you turned mid-step, bashing the kettle into its face as Rumi caught another by the collar and threw it backward into the cockpit.
"Bleeding isn't in my blood, ppyeos-sogbuteo dallaseo—"
The kettle hissed, and you tossed it over to Mira, who caught the jug midair. She brought it down on a demon sitting in a passenger chair, metal clashing with flesh. You cringed internally at the smell of it's burnt demon skin.
"Beating you is what I do, do, do, yeah"
Mira tossed the jug across the aisle. Zoey caught it with one hand, smirking, already turning toward the next wave of demons. She poured the hot water into her ramyeon bowl, balancing it while elbowing one demon in the ribs and tripping another with the back of her heel.
"Body on body I'm naughty, not even sorry"
You regrouped together, the four of you standing in a slight circle as you filled your ramyeon with water. More demons charged, one from each direction. The four of you kicked simultaneously, sending them flying across the suddenly endless plane.
"And when you pull up, I'll pull up a little late to the party (Na-na-na-na)"
Mira raised her chopsticks and Zoey rolled her eyes playfully, both about to take a large slurp before Y/N stopped them. You pointed at the "Wait for 3 minutes" rule at the end of the directions, to which they sighed at before placing their cups back down on the coffee table.
"Locked and loaded, I was born for this. There ain't no point in avoiding it. Annoyed a bit? Bul-eul bichwo da bikyeo, ne apgil-eul ppaesgyeo!"
The cabin lights dimmed and an almost alive blue light rippled throughout the aircraft once again. You cherished its beauty and relished in its soft, almost singing, glow.
"Knocking you out like a lullaby"
Threads of light spun around you as weapons emerged from the glowing threads. Zoey's daggers gleamed as she trailed her hand against the threads to make them appear, Mira's spear shimmered as the tips of her fingers called out to the glow, Rumi's sword pulsed with energy as she pulled at the light, and your whip cracked against the floor of the plane.
"Hear that sound ringing in your mind. Better sit down for the show"
Demons began to scramble, clawing toward the emergency exits. Too late. Just like Icarus, they flew too close to the sun.
You raised your weapons, voices blending into a perfect chord. "Cause I'm gonna show you how it's done, done, done."
You slashed through the demons with fluid grace, their bodies a blur of motion.More demons appeared behind the curtains, from overhead storage. They struck with no etiquette, clearly just aiming to hurt and scare.
"HUNTRIX DON'T MISS!"
Mira impaled one mid-air as Zoey ricocheted a blade off a tray table. Your whip latched onto one of the scrambling ones, pulling it forward before plunging your dagger into its chest. You chuckled as it shimmered away in pink magic.
"How it's done, done, done! HEY! Huntrix don't quit! How it's done, done, done! Run, run, we run the town-"
You stumbled, falling back on the couch with wide eyes as the aircraft suddenly shook. Just as your styrofoam cup almost fell from the coffee table, Rumi caught it and handed it to you with a smile. You grinned, grabbing the cup and standing up from your position.
"Whole world playin' our sound."
You ran towards the windows and outside, the front half of the plane was suddenly... Gone?! Somehow, it had been torn clean off from two demons clinging to the wing and the flight attendant, which was also starting to rip away.
"Turnin' up, it's going down! Huntrix show this, how it's done, done, done"
The wing tore free. The girls walked towards the edge of the plane. Mira let out a sigh, shrugging as if this happened every day. Well, this actually did happen almost every day if you were being honest. "Yeah, this plane's trashed."
You exchanged a look before slurping their ramen in perfect sync. "Okay, let's do this," Rumi said walking towards the plane's door.
Wind kissed your exposed skin, causing you to let out a slight sigh at the cool breeze penetrating the hot sweaty air. "Yeah, something about when you come for the crown," You turned, leaning backwards with a smirk, "That's so humbling, huh?"
You waved to Rumi as you dived off the plane with the others behind her. You felt a rush of adrenaline fill your body, the nervousness evaporating from your skin as you saw the stage lights grow brighter.
"gabjagi wae geulae? meonjeo geondeulyeo, wae? ijeya pogihae, what? Nothing to us. Run up, you're done up, we come up from sunup to sundown, so come out to play"
Rumi dove like a bullet, her foot practically glowing from the speed of which she was falling. "Won either way, we're one in a million. We killin', we bring it, you want it? Okay—" She kicked a demon's chest, sending it flying even more than it already did. "Heels, nails, blade, mascara"
Rumi casually inspected her nails, tossing the mirror to you to which you quickly passed to Mira and took out your phone instead. "Fit check for my napalm era." You took a picture with Rumi in the background, a smile on your face despite the fact you were falling.
Mira brushed her hair and flicked a blow-dryer at a demon like a cannon. "Need to beat my face, make it cute and savage"
Zoey sat on the shoulders of a demon, concentrating as she used her makeup brush on it, applying blush to its confused face. "Mirror, mirror on my phone, who's the baddest? Us? Hello!"
She smirked before pushing off of the demon and penetrating it with her dagger. It poofed mid-scream. The concert came into view and you braced yourself to land, now diving down to the stage with your friends beside you.
"Knocking you out like a lullaby. Hear that sound ringing in your mind."
They landed, causing a fog to appear. The lights behind them created a silhouette standing above the three demons that were left.
"Better sit down for the show. 'Cause I'm gonna show you, I'm gonna show you! I'm gonna show you how it's done, done, done"
You parted the fog, jumping through and killing the last of the demons with your special weapons easily. The four of you walked with confidence, microphones now replacing the weapons in your hands.
"I don't talk, but I bite, full of venom, uh. Spittin' facts, you know that's how it's done, done, done—" Mira said confidently, eyes trained on the crowd.
Zoey stepped up beside you with a grin, rapping in tempo as she faced the camera pointed at her. "Okay, like, I know I ramble but when shootin' my words, I go Rambo. Took blood, sweat, and tears, to look natural, uh that's how it's done, done, done."
You and Rumi stepped forward into the center spotlight, hand in hand as you both stared at the pulsing threads surrounding the stage and eventually creeping outwards to the rest of the world. You needed to do this.
"Hear our voice unwavering. 'Til our song defeats the night"
You turned to the left while Rumi leaned over to the right side of the stage. You knelt, smiling at the crowd as you and Rumi's voice harmonized together.
"Makin' fear, afraid to breathe. Til the dark meets the light!"
The two of you hit the note, making the crowd cheer louder and louder. As Rumi continued on, you held out the microphone to the people near you with a smile before joining the rest of the girls in the center stage.
"How it's done, done, done. Run, run, we run the town! Done, done, done!"
You danced alongside them, circling and moving with grace and ease. You watched as the Honmoon glowed bright, shifting into another color that the four of you had been waiting for for a long time.
"Whole world playin' our sound! Done, done, done! Turnin' up, it's going down. Done, done, done!"
You exchanged glances with Zoey, gesturing to the golden shift, to which she excitedly grinned at as the others did as well.
"We hunt you down, down, down (Down) We got you now, now, now (Got you now)"
You stepped in front of the three of them, the last final notes of the song coming soon.
"We show you how, how, how (Show you how). Huntrix, don't miss, how it's done, done, done"
Rumi, Mira, and Zoey posed behind you as you knelt in front of the three of them, a smile on your face as you held up two peace signs for the final pose.

FAMILIAR — JINU ࣪𖤐.ᐟ
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: you look exactly like the girl he fell in love with 300 years ago.
a/n: im officially obsessed with KDH & jinu’s perfect face and eyes <33 this is just a small blurb, 700 words, more works coming soon if this goes well!
★☆.
“Rumi? Is that you?”
Said girl turned around so fast you could hear her neck crack as she yells your name in shock. “Wha- what are you doing here?” her feet fidgeting, eyes moving everywhere, almost like she’s looking for something.
Being Bobby's assistant was not an easy task to say the least, so the chilling cold air nipping at your skin was very much needed.
You furrowed your eyebrows at her off behaviour, “I’m getting some air.” hands engulfed in the pockets of your hoodie, “What about you?”
She stutters, sending you an awkward smile, “Nothing! I mean- not nothing I’m just- “
“Thought you would come alone.”
Your eyebrows shoot up in shock when you see one member of Saja Boys walking towards you two. A tall figure taking slow and long strides, his frame not entirely clear to your vision because of the night sky.
“Is that Jinu?” you whisper, standing beside Rumi.
The purple haired girl stood frozen, eyes wide, mouth opening and closing but nothing coherent coming out. “Um, yeah- we were just- “
Jinu stopped in front of you both, his calm demeanor suddenly shifted the moment his eyes landed on you.
You.
He must be dreaming.
His eyes went wide, fingers twitching at his sides as he swallowed hard. Countless of memories replayed in his mind, all of them plagued with you. Your pretty face, soft smile and sweet voice. All directed to him.
What kind of sick play does Gwi-Ma have in store for him now?
You furrow your eyebrows at his panicked gaze to you.
Jinu blinks awkwardly, hand scratching the back of his neck, suddenly feeling shy under your gaze, “Hi.” he softly said.
Rumi stares at him weirdly, he hasn’t known him for long, but this is far from how he usually acts. Where did the ego go?
You smiled politely, not really sure how to react to the way he is acting, “Hello, Jinu,”
He bodily shuddered at how you said his name. It was familiar. His stomach flips at your soft voice. “You know my name.”
You chuckled. His hair stood up. “Of course, half of Korea knows who you are by now.” crossing your arms in defense, “What business do you have with Rumi?”
Rumi softly touches the top of your arm, “Don’t worry about me.”
You turn to give her a pointed look before smirking, “Do you guys meet up often?” gesturing to the pair.
“No!”
“Absolutely not!”
You raised your hands in surrender at their little outburst, “I'm joking.” you chuckled, “I won’t tell, promise.” winking at Rumi, making her roll her eyes.
“Sorry, I didn't get your name.” Jinu asked, wanting your attention back on him again.
You were shocked that he even wanted to know who you were, “Y/N. Huntrix’s assistant.” looking up to meet his eyes, unconsciously backing your head away when you notice how fondly he was looking at you.
“Pretty.” he absentmindedly said, before replicating your actions when he realised how creepy he sounded, “I mean- pretty name!”
You chuckled at his awkward behaviour that was weirdly charming to you.
The interaction weirded Rumi out, eyes shifting between you both. Jinu to you, you to Jinu, Jinu to you-
Oh, shit.
Before any more flirting can happen from the demon she jumped in, “You should probably go back. I heard Bobby wanted to have a little meeting to talk about the tour, hiatus and such.” she rambles.
You nodded, not buying her excuse but accepted either way, “Alright, then. Call me if you need anything, okay?”
She nodded. But before you leave you lean into Jinu’s personal space, “Anything happens to her, and I will make your life hell. Do you understand me?”
The corner of his lips turned up at your threat, feeling awestruck instead of scared, “Yes, ma’am.”
You leave the two, walking towards the apartment. Feeling a pair of eyes burning on the backside of your head but not daring to turn around.
Rumi gasped when you were out of range, “You like her!”
Jinu shrugged, “Shut up. She just reminds me of someone.” he mumbles, still staring at your retreating figure.
Someone he used to love.

If Only...

Jinu X fem.Reader
word count: 2.4k
a/n: this is my fourth fanfic of jinu and I'm going crazy someone stop me please. Also I'm losing ideas so if you have any request please do drop a note. I still have another idea of angst until I make some soft happy endings lol
Synopsis:
╰┈➤ If Only...
Tumblr media
It was never supposed to happen.
You weren't supposed to feel this. To hesitate.
But fate — cruel, laughing fate — had always toyed with you, over and over again. And here you were, caught in its trap once more.
Your scythe had cut down hundreds of their kind. Demons had crumbled into dust at your feet, your blade unflinching, your heart colder each time.
But now?
Now you couldn't kill even one.
Why him?
You didn't belong in the spotlight. You hated it — the blinding lights, the staged smiles, the never-ending swarm of paparazzi. The fake interviews, the forced poses, the soul-sucking brand deals. You hated being told to be perfect.
So you stayed in the shadows, right where you belonged.
You let Huntrix shine in the public eye: Mira, Rumi, and Zoe — the idols, the faces, the voices. They danced in the light, while you hid behind soundproof glass.
You were their producer — the faceless fourth. The one who stayed up late tuning tracks, patching lyrics when writer's block hit, and crafting every beat that sealed away the honmoon. You wove magic into the melody, just like the ones before you.
Because this was tradition. Always three on the stage. Always one in the dark.
You were older than them — not by much, but enough to feel responsible. You were their unnie, their protector. You had more battle scars, more stories, more secrets. That's why they never worried when you went on solo missions.
And that was your greatest weapon: anonymity.
The demons thought there were only three.
There had always only been three — as far as they knew.
But behind every generation of Hunters, there was someone else. Someone offstage. Someone who wrote the songs, not to climb the charts, but to trap the shadows lurking in the echoes.
You didn't need powerful vocals.
You had powerful visions.
And now... your power betrayed you.
Your mind spiraled. A million thoughts screamed inside your skull.
Should I let my heart keep listening? Up 'til now I've walked the line—nothing lost, but something missing...
You had everything, didn't you?
A found family that never let go. Best friends who would die for you. Your parents—alive and well. A career that others only dreamed of.
So why... why did your chest ache like something had been carved out of it?
And then—you saw him.
That's when it clicked.
What you were missing wasn't something. It was someone. It was love.
The kind that doesn't knock politely—it breaks the door down and stands in your ruined threshold.
You cursed yourself, quietly, for saying yes to Bobby.
"Come on," he had begged, "You've got the lightest schedule. Just help us set up the fan sign?"
And because you were you—softhearted, capable, and impossibly easy to guilt-trip—you agreed.
Even went the extra mile.
You planned the whole event. Stayed up finalizing logistics. Then told the rest of the staff to clock out early and go home to their families.
Now here you were. Alone in the quiet morning, taping up last-minute signage outside the venue.
You were halfway through unfurling a tarp when you spotted them—four bundled shapes huddled in sleeping bags along the curb.
"...Idiots," you muttered, frowning. Fans like these were rare and reckless. Sleeping outside just to be first in line for autographs?
You shook your head and kept working—until one of them stirred. One pulled back his hood and stood, dusting off the creases from his shirt.
That's when you saw him.
Eyes still puffy from sleep. Hair a soft, tousled black. That calm, unreadable face framed by the dawn's early light.
Back then, you had no idea who he was.
You'd been off the grid for days. Locked in the studio producing songs for idols you barely knew. Huntrix had been hunting without you. You hadn't checked socials in a week.
So when he stepped forward and said—
"Uh... can I use the bathroom?"
—you didn't even blink. Just sighed, rolled your eyes, and jerked your head toward the venue.
"This way."
No thanks. No recognition. He simply nodded and followed.
You didn't think much of it. You were too busy—back to climbing a wobbly stool to hang the tarpaulin behind were the girls will be sitting .
Balancing on tiptoe, gripping the thin banner with cold fingers.
Until a quiet voice called behind you:
"You know, that thing's totally uneven."
You didn't have to look to know it was him.
"And you're going to fall if you keep shifting like that."
You gritted your teeth. "I'm fine."
"You're not," he said flatly. "At least let me help."
You finally glanced down—and your heart skipped. He was already walking toward you. Calm. Composed. His face unreadable, but his hand was outstretched, palm open like he already knew you'd take it.
You didn't.
And in that split-second—of course—you slipped.
"Shit—" you hissed as your balance gave out and gravity claimed you. The ground rushed up too fast. You braced, eyes squeezing shut, waiting for the sharp slam of wood against your back—
But it never came.
Instead, strong arms wrapped around your waist, halting your fall mid-air like it was nothing.
Your breath caught.
Slowly, you cracked one eye open—then the other.
There he was.
Smug. Too close. Too confident.
That crooked smirk on his lips practically screamed "told you so."
His dark eyes flicked over your face, glittering with something unreadable—maybe amusement, maybe something else entirely. The hold on your waist tightened just slightly, grounding you in his grip.
He was close. Too close.
You could feel his breath against your mouth. Hear the steady, unbothered rhythm of his heart. And yours—yours was stammering like it didn't know what to do with itself.
He tilted his head a little. "You always this stubborn?"
You swallowed hard. "You always this annoying?"
His smirk widened—but his eyes softened, just barely. "Only when I'm right."
Later that afternoon, the event hall buzzed with energy—fans lined up, banners waving, cameras flashing. But your focus narrowed sharply when your eyes caught a familiar face.
Him.
He was back, but not alone this time. He stood upfront at the signing table with a few others you recognized from earlier—those same guys who'd been in the sleeping bags back at the entrance. And now they were freshen up, styled, and posing as if they belonged.
The Saja Boys.
You stood stiffly near a concrete pillar, arms crossed, trying to keep your face neutral. Rumi, Mira, and Zoe exchanged less-than-thrilled glances. No one had told you this was going to be a joint fan sign. The Huntrix event you had personally organized—put your own hours into, from venue to logistics—was now sharing space with a brand new K-pop boy group?
Your eye twitched.
You caught sight of him again, seated right next to Rumi. They were speaking quietly, heads close. Something about the way he leaned in, relaxed but confident, made your skin prickle.
"Do they know each other?" you murmured to no one in particular.
You flagged down one of the event staff, your voice firm. "Who approved the seating chart? Who is that?"
She gave you a sheepish smile, clearly overwhelmed. "Oh—uh, that's Jinu. He's the leader of the Saja Boys.
Your stomach dropped.
Leader? Of course he is.
As if on cue, Jinu glanced up from the table and locked eyes with you across the venue. Recognition flickered instantly in his gaze—and then he smiled.
That same maddening, devastatingly charming smile from earlier. The one that said he knew exactly what he was doing.
You didn't bother looking back.
The moment you stepped off and slipped behind the black curtains marking the backstage area, it was like you could finally breathe again. The air felt less heavy away from the flashing cameras, squealing fans, and—most of all—him. You paced for a second, then stopped by a corner to scroll through your phone, pretending to be invested in it. Anything to not think about the way your stomach twisted when he was near.
The distant noise of the crowd faded just enough for you to hear footsteps. Lazy, heavy, tired ones. You looked up.
It was Jinu—of course it was. He stood a few feet away, sharp eyes unreadable beneath dyed bangs, the faintest smirk tugging at his lips, the rest of the Saja boys passed by in a blur of exhaustion—Abby tossing his bouquet dramatically into a trash bin, Mystery yawning, Baby leaning heavily on Romance's shoulder as they all disappeared toward the van.
But Jinu? He was the only one who didn't just throw the bouquet in. He placed it gently—deliberately—on top of the pile. A folded piece of paper stayed clutched in his other hand, something he didn't discard. A letter from a fan, maybe. Or something else.
You glanced back down at your phone. He didn't leave.
"So what are you to them?" he asked, voice smooth, slightly amused. "Their manager? Event organizer?"
You looked up again. He was staring at you, head slightly tilted, brows raised in quiet challenge. The others were gone now—just the two of you. You squared your stance.
"I'm their producer," you replied flatly, folding your arms. Cool. Professional.
Jinu's lips tugged into a half-smirk as he slowly folded the paper and slipped it into his pocket. "And you planned the fan event too? Damn. All in one, huh?"
He took a few slow steps in your direction, casual but not aimless. Calculated.
"I'm a perfectionist," you said simply, holding his gaze.
"Mm. Figures," he said, voice lower now as he closed the distance just a little more, eyes scanning your face. "You've got that look. Like nothing ever passed by you."
There was something in the way he said it—less teasing, more observant. He didn't mean just the event.
You looked away first.
You always did.
And ever since that day, your lives kept tangling—deliberate or not. Jinu always seemed to be just a few steps behind you. Or ahead of you. Or waiting.
There was something about the way he smiled—just a little too slow, a little too soft. The way his eyes held yours longer than they should've, almost as if memorizing the shape of your face each time. And then there was the way his gaze would flick down to your lips before rising back to your eyes, like a secret only he knew.
It wasn't just glances. It was tension. Thick and charged, like static before a storm.
The day he reached out—his hand resting on your waist to move you gently aside in the crowded idol common room—it felt like something clicked into place. The contact lingered. Not enough to raise suspicion, but just enough to make your breath catch.
Then there were the late-night run-ins. The 24-hour convenience store closest to your apartment, where you'd both pretend surprise even though you frequented it around the same hour. That time he "accidentally" found you working late in the studio, hunched over your laptop, trying to produce a new track under deadline.
"I didn't know anyone else was here," he'd said. But his voice didn't match the words. It was too calm. Too knowing.
Neither of you made the first move right away. But one night, you both stopped pretending.
Your lips met—slow, hesitant at first, then hungry. The kiss tasted like everything you'd both been holding back. Like the first breath after drowning.
And somehow, it felt like more than just a kiss. It felt like a beginning. A fragile, burning beginning.
You were falling for him. And he was falling too.
But then you heard it.
A conversation behind closed doors—Huntrix voices lowered in warning, laced with urgency. Jinu's name. A word you weren't meant to hear.
Demon.
Your heart plummeted like it had been cut loose from your chest.
Enemy.
And now, here you stood—frozen in place, suffocating beneath the weight of everything you knew and everything you felt. Love, twisted with betrayal. Warmth, laced with danger.
I can't decide what's wrong, what's right... Which way should I go?
The lyrics echoed in your mind, torn from a memory you couldn't quite silence. A song that once comforted you—now mocking your indecision.
Your scythe's blade hovered dangerously close to Jinu's neck. Your hands trembled, not from fear, but from fury barely contained. Your jaw locked as your blurred vision clung to the shape of him. The boy you used to trust. The demon he became.
Jinu didn't move. Didn't even raise his eyes to meet yours at first.
The wind whispered across the rooftop ledge, catching the hem of his jacket and brushing through your hair like some ghost trying to push you apart. He let out a slow breath, and when he finally looked at you, it wasn't with defiance.
It was guilt. Heavy. Real. Like he'd been carrying it for lifetimes.
"I never wanted you to find out like this," he said quietly, voice low and raw.
Your grip tightened on the scythe's handle. The curved blade shimmered under the moonlight, inches from his skin.
"You lied to me," you hissed, each word heavy like it cost you something to speak them aloud. "All this time. You were one of them."
Jinu lowered his gaze again. "Four hundred years is a long time to regret something."
"Don't you dare make this poetic," you snapped. "You could've told me. You let me care about you—trust you—when you knew what you were."
He didn't defend himself. Just stood there, letting your anger land where it may.
"I'm still me," he finally said, barely louder than the wind. "Even if the past is monstrous... I never stopped being me when I was with you."
Silence stretched. Your blade didn't waver, but your heart did
You didn't know when the tears started to fall—only that they burned on the way down.
All this time, you thought he was your safe place. The quiet in the chaos. But now... now he was the very storm you'd been trying to survive.
Jinu stepped forward—slowly, cautiously, like he was approaching a wounded animal. Like he knew one wrong move would shatter everything.
"You're right," he said softly. "I should've told you. I should've let you hate me from the beginning. But I didn't want to lose you before I ever had the chance to keep you."
A bitter laugh escaped your lips, half-choked and broken. "So instead you let me love a lie?"
He flinched.
The scythe dropped from your hands with a metallic thud against the rooftop. You couldn't hold it anymore. Couldn't hold anything anymore. Not the rage. Not the love. Not the grief curling inside your ribs like fire.
"I don't know if I'll ever forgive you," you whispered.
Jinu looked like he wanted to speak, but the words never came. Maybe there weren't any left that could fix this.
And maybe... that was the point.
You turned away from him, the wind now at your back. The skyline blurred through your tears, the city below indifferent to the war inside your chest.
Behind you, Jinu didn't move. Maybe he knew chasing you would only make it worse.
Maybe he knew he'd already lost.
Your voice broke the silence one last time, barely above a breath:
"If only I knew what my heart was telling me... Don't know what I'm feeling, is this just a dream?"
And then you were gone— leaving Jinu standing alone beneath the stars, with nothing but regret and the sound of your fading footsteps.
