I'm so sorry it's genuinely nuts to me that "your spouse is not your responsibility" mindset endures to this day. Like what are you talking about. Yes it is?? That is your spouse. You married them. I have watched my father destroy his beloved vegetable garden so he could build handrails for my mom to practice walking on every day after nerve damage from sepsis. He changed her diapers even after he had surgery on his kidneys and he was recovering. People who say this shit clearly have no idea what it is to be disabled.
