Just conlanging for the hell of it. Some Conlangs may not have explanations, serving as more of a prompt.

Very quick update, cleaned up this whole thing :D

I really like the ancient Chinese bamboo scrolls as writing medium. Perhaps Eywa saw that paper might require a wheel in order to be made so that was a no go. So next best thing would be this. This time the symbols are scratched in, filled with glowing powder and sealed shut with a special type of wax. The medium on which they are writing is maybe some kind of leather-like tree bark that scrolls up on it's own and is much lighter than leather.
As you can see, I added a little bit of basic maths. I have a feeling that humans managed to introduce Na'vi's to the whole concept. I don't think Na'vi care much about more complex maths, seeing it unnecessary, but they do do simple equations now. Mostly to count large quantities of needed items and/or food. Although I'm sure the novelty has worn off by the second movie, I think at first they would have found it fun to count how many of them are in their clan and then do the math equations based on that number.
Sooo... I made a possible writing script for Na'vi.
I figured that they would use very simple symbols for each sound. As I imagine that in their culture the spoken word holds more value and they don't have the patience or time to invent anything more elaborate. However, with humanity becoming a part of their world and their lives, I can see them adapting their own writing system eventually.
They write with a special holed needle that breaks easily, usually on leather, they scratch or puncture their writing into it. The needle is filled with glowing tree sap that becomes liquid when exposed to warmth. The glow doesn't run out for a long time either.
They usually write down just their stories or prayers. Short messages and nonsense texts are not written. Basically humanity is responsible for them keeping a physical history of their lives and not relying just on Eiwa to keep such things. Though Eiwa comes first by a longshot, they still like to be able to not have to walk some distances just to be able to hear some short retelling of a historical event.
I think Eiwa would encourage the invention of writing. It's not breaking her three main laws, so why not.

I know It's a bit chaotic, but I tried my best anyways.
Alternatively [L] can be like [1] but other way around, and to represent [LL] it could have another smaller arch right under the first arch.

KMO - the language of knots
KMO literally means "knot"
• Has 14 letters
A, E, I, U, O - top string (the one indicated by 1 pixel at the start in the image above)
B, C, D, K, S - bottom string
F, L, M, R - middle string (top and bottom strings tied together)
• Some letters replace the letters that are missing
I - j, y
B - p
D - t
K - g, q, x
S - z
F - v, w, h
M - n
• Every two letters AEIUO and BCDKS share the same symbols/knots, the only way to differentiate between them is which "string" they're tied on. FLMR have unique knots.
• Inspired by Quipu
• Can be "written" aka tied in real life, may use beads to signify letters or to convey meaning through color. The sentence starts with a non-flat square knot. The string representing (aeiuo) always starts with a simple one-loop knot.
• In digital format the sentences are written like in the image above. Each symbol representing a letter is 3x3 pixels (or an equivalent of such) large.
• The number "writing" system doesn't exist yet, but "0" as a numeral is not intended to exist, and they only have numbers 1-9, the only way to add "zeros" is to ad a loop around a number.
9537 would look something like this, brackets represent "loops": (((9)))((5))(3)7
• How it's spoken and vocabulary doesn't exist yet.
