think it's kind of bizarre how many people don't realise that the reason some, "masc traits," are tolerated in women isn't because of patriarchy seeing masculinity as inherently good but because of feminism lol. do you really not remember how things like, "girls can play sports and kick butt just like Da Boys hashtag girlpower hashtag throw like a girl," was a big thing in the 2010s? or that campaign telling people to stop calling girls bossy for being assertive? just generally trying to encourage girls to be more assertive and stand up for themselves? "women can wear pants/trousers," yeah that was a massive feminist movement that took place over centuries. there's still situations where women aren't allowed to wear them. loads of schools and workplaces here require women to wear skirts as part of the uniform.

it reminds me of how some anti vaxx-ers don't realise the reason we don't see much of some diseases anymore isn't because Big Vaccine made them up to give kids autism, but because of vaccines themselves.
