The antithesis of fear, one cannot ignore that gold nugget.
What would we become without bravery? A foregone conclusion.
The virtue in matter transcends us to higher planes.
Because of his/her magnetism, the brave person can turn into a folk hero.

Regarding surprise attacks
In the heat of battle, a combatant must utilize the element of surprise for winning. This essay is going to illustrate what makes an efficient surprise attack. During a fight, the opportunist is a fan of shock attack. Indeed, an unaware foe is a vulnerable prey. However, what makes a good one ? First, a strong faith in the following quote is primordial: “you have to appear weak when you are strong.” The author of Art of war and military strategist Sun Tzu understood it. Because the latter has given an edge in battles. The book “Surviving Prison” of Mike Enemigo demonstrates that fact. The author got a chip on his shoulder against a cellmate who had crossed him. He attacked by surprise his cellmate when a friend of his helped for distracting the target (p42 — 45 PDF). Because of that sudden violence, the victim, unprepared was not able to fight back. But also due to the shock he felt. Then, the shock in question is the emotional shock. It is worth to considered it. The last volume contains another example about the consequences of the emotional shock. It concerns a bully and his violent ways. Nevertheless, one day, he got sucker punched by an avenger. The ruffian was floored and beaten, and it was due to the emotional shock (p65 — 67). In a combat, attacking a shocked foe is a path to victory ! It is what boxers have relied on for a KO victory in addition to their timing ! To conclude, an efficient shock attack must surprise and induce an emotional shock in order to defeat the enemy.
