I listened to people call in and talk about what they think about the Vegas Knights and their perspective thought about them. This is the first season for the vegas Knights so coming into the season they would be the underdog, and most people didn’t expect much from them. so going into the play off push they shocked everyone and thats what people were talkiig about, how everyone was wrong thinking they wouldn’t make the play offs, let alone start it 2-0. Some people called saying they wanted the Knights to win because of the underdog mentality, others just wanted to see them pass the second round because they think the Knights don’t have what it takes to win it. Persoanlly hearing everyone talk makes me think, “ how much do people actually know the sport”. i thought this because its not like they are playing with a bunch of no good hockey players, or have a coach who’s never coached, they are a team put together with talent and a good coach like every other team.Â

http://www.nba.com/warriors/news/unbreakable-bonds-player-coach-relationship
For any player, the most important thing is to feel good about your coach and like to be around him and have respect for each other. A coach to player relationship is vital for a good season, if a coach and player don’t get along then the player will most likeyl not perform at their best and the bonds like the warriors have is a key factor why they are always succesfull.

The article that i looked at was “2018 NCAA tournement: first look”, writen by CHN staff. As i read the comments about who plays who, when, and where, i find it interesting that almost all lf them are negative ones. Some people say the typical thing like “its just based on politics” and things in that nature but personally if politics went into the voting on who makes it then more historically powerhouse teams would have made it. However, a few oher people as well as I like the fact that some smaller schools made it this year like Air Force, Princten, Cornell and Michigan Tech. The last thing people argue about is that the games that were put together aren’t fair matches and that the two teams shouldn’t be playing each other.

I think that the article “The Argument from Authority” is like sports on how its was talking about the ocean and you shouldn’t just start in the middle and jump in or scuba dive, you should ask a professional about it. The same goes for a sport, how you can’t just assume things about sports or say things, or do things. It would be best to get professional advice from either a pro, or a vet, or a knowledgeable person about the sport. Learning from and listening to a highly trained individual is the best way to learn and perfect something.

The 30 for 30 I watched was, “Of Miracles And Men”. This video is about the 1980 Winter Olympics taken place in Lake Placid, New York. More specifically the mens hockey teams of the United States of America which consisted of young college students and the Soviet Union which consisted of a group of older men who had been playing together for multiple years. The Soviet Union was the more favored team going into the 1980 Olympics and everyone knew thast, even their opponents knew they were the best team going into the winter games. Before the two team met in the Olympics, they had a scrimmage that the soviet team completly destroyed team USA, but in the actual Olympics team USA who was the underdog of the whole winter games had beat the Soviets in a shocking upset and ended up playing Finland in the finals and beat them to 4-2 to win the gold medal. Some interviews with members of the Soviet hockey teams were that they still have nightmares aabout loosing such a valuable game but also applaud the Americans that they worked that much harder to defeat them. The 1980 miracle was such an inspiration to everyone around the world.

There are 20 rules that make you a true fan. One rule that stood out to me was that it said to not wear a basketball jersey to the game because it looks weird when you where it with a shirt underneath, but it also says that if you do wear a jersey without a shirt you can see the persons hairy shoulers and their flaps.
A similarity between the articles is that they both have to do with being a determined fan of a team and staying with them throughout every thing. Also by keeping up with the latest things and following the ways to keep being a true fan.

Compaired to super bowl 1, an obvious difference is the tv quality, from super bowl 1 to super bowl XLVIII. Another way its different is by how the newer video starts by showing the city and the spot lights and a big ice sculpture that has XLVIII on it. There’s more flare and pizzazz in todays films of the super bowl. The super bwol 1 video had just recaps of the game but this video had recaps, had videos of the teams walking onto the field, and had interviews from when the game was over. and it had a lot more dramatic music playing in the background which made it seems more instense.Â

Hair styling could be considered a sport in many ways. People tend to change their hair styles, the color, and the shape of it just to impress themselves as well as the people around them. They all want their hair to be the best out of everyone and to do that, they will put in lots of time and effort. A similar example could be the players in the NBA, each and every player in the league has their own hair style, whether it’s the color of it, the different things that is in it, what the lines look like on the side of their head, long braids, or short braids. They all have different kinds of hair and they want theirs to look the best. So whether or not you’re in the pros or just a person trying to get ready for the night, you are always trying to ave the best hair against the people you’ll be with.
