Hello hello 👋 Welcome back to my first playthrough of TOTK. We found another shrine that stripped Link nekkid again. This time the trial is for infiltration. yaaaaay

Not a big fan of sneaking into places. I always feel like I'm gonna get caught. Welp...time to go get my butt handed to me a couple of times and take many screenshots while I'm at it.

Wow I died only once. My prize was another sapphire. Lame.

I'm surprised I got a good picture of this bird. I remember having a horrible time in BOTW getting close enough for a good shot. But here? I was just at the right place and right time when it hit 5am and they spawned. I didn't budge until I got a good pic. The bear wasn't as hard but it kept running away. Maybe in the future I'll get a better shot.

Hello hello 👋Welcome to my first playthrough of TOTK. We just found another cave.

yaaaay but it's the really big cave that held the leviathan skeleton. So I'm curious if we're going to find monsters in there or not. There weren't any in BOTW. Let's have a looksie.

And the first thing I do is fucking whistle.

What a way to start off the next round of exploration.... hmm I didn't see any questions marks. Maybe there aren't any monsters in here?

There's a TON of bright seeds in here and some mineral deposits.

Just call me farmer Link. 😁 Would anyone want to play something like Stardew Valley but make it Legend of Zelda? Actually, it was kinda like that in the beginning of Twilight Princess. I would love to have more of that and not have Link go save the world all of the time. Maybe something post saving the world. I'd play it...

I don't like this...there's been no sign of the shrine yet and my camera isn't picking up any monster...

Lol biggest dog bone I've ever seen. Reminds me of the big dog bone we got for our old dog Luna one Christmas. It was so big, she couldn't fit it through the doggy door. After I blasted more of the rock to see if there was a hidden entry way. There wasn't any and I began to run around to have to sensor go off the relocate the shrine when I realized...it went dead silent after I killed the bubbul frog. I checked my sensor and realized...

IT WAS SET TO LOOK FOR BUBBUL FROGS!

Omg I was so mad! I've been following those fuckers since like what... part 85/86?

I set it back to shrines...goddamn I'm an idiot. And as SOON as I left the cave, the shrine sensor goes off.

JFC. Siiiiiiiiigggggh. Let's go find it.

Eeeey now we can keep a better track of Zelda.

Oh cool we finally found it AND another hot spring. Hmmm I wonder if a shrine was nearby that other spring. 🤔

Hello hello 👋 Welcome to my first playthrough of TOTK. Last where we left off, we entered a shrine and found Link with no clothes on...again.

This seems to be a theme with him. As I'm sure a lot of people noticed. It just takes me awhile to catch on.

Oh great...I gotta avoid traps while weaponless. Lovely.

Or not. Okay. That makes me feel a little better. Darn I should've eaten a defense meal. Oh well. Let's see what we can do.

I actually died more than five times. I was too focused to screen shot a lot of it. But OMG that was hard. I was supposed to use traps to kill them. Obviously I didn't because I suck at trying to set traps off while I'm under pressure. That's done and over with. Onto the next thing.

They're never ending...at least the eyeballs have benefits.

I wasn't just gonna run down a hill just to get to a korok. I also went past an ice lizalfos.

Looking forward to using that at some point.

Y'know...I started to notice that I haven't seen a single rhino. Where did they go? Did they go extinct? That would really suck...less resources of gourmet meat to farm. Unless Link was the cause...

Hello hello 👋Welcome back to my first playthrough of TOTK. Last where we left off, we found the dragon's tear, found a cave, beat up a frost talus and found another shrine.

it's been very...calm... and I'm in a fairly open field. It makes me think of two things.

Dangit I would want one encounter with doom hands to be on video at least :(

It's weird that I haven't encountered a blue hinox until now. Well, that should also mean that I won't encounter any doom hands yet.

Anyway, let's go beat this bastard up.

They wear metal leg wraps instead of wood now. Good for electric attacks.

I was going airborne to get to a korok and avoid any potential big monsters when I saw the sensor go off. I recall there used to be a shrine in the upper left corner of the map in BOTW. Though it seems like this shrine might in a cave.

There's my entry point. Nothing a flame blade can't melt.

Ok more ice than I expected.

Lol nope! I see monsters! Ima just gonna scoot on by and melt the next cluster of ice. I hear the shrine music.

Hmm. which one leads me to zee shrine and which one leads me to zee frog. I'll get zee frog first. I bet it's up so up we go!

Found it and it spat giant light seeds at me.

I wanted to see if it would give me more, but it didn't. Killed it and took the gem. After breaking the bottom ice wall, I almost fell in and good thing I didn't cuz you know what I saw?

Wait why is Link nekkid? What kind of shrine trial is this? I don't mind him in his underoos...

Hello hello 👋 Welcome back to my first playthrough of TOTK. Last where we left off we did more korok hunting and found a shrine...or two.

So today isn't a video post like I would have wanted. There's a reason for that and the reason is:

My husband came home from overseas and surprised me!

I was shooketh! I wasn't expecting his presence until September! Kiddo is over the moon too. He is super jetlagged tired so I'm letting him sleep instead of playing the game on my computer.

So anyway! Let's see how far we get shall we?

First thing I did was take care of the korok outside of the shrine got my two seeds.

That's gonna be a video. I'm curious about what exactly changed since BOTW.

So we're going to check these places out where koroks will be and mark where the dragon tear pool is for later.

Oh boy, this is going to take longer than I thought.

Eureka! Aannnnd Tulin decided to take a dip in it.

Uncovered this guy. Now it feels boring to me that it's just been koroks. Let's shake it up a bit.

Ooh I was wondering when I would run into one. Having the snowsuit one will be a huge help.

Nice! I stumbled across a shrine! Looks like another crystal one too. Also spotted another blupee which means another cave. 😁

Oh...okay then. I love how they're getting creative with making you fight elemental monsters. But first! Let's tackle zee cave!

Right near the entrance is a monster squad, which was taken out much more quickly than I had anticipated. I soon learned that there were air drafts to carry me to higher floors. Took out an Ice Like and some horriblins while cleaning out the cave of resources.

And then I reach the other side of the cave.

Well, that's cool while I nervously looked around for doom hands...because I haven't ran into any for a while. The only thing missing from zee cave was zee frog.

Without the sensor+, I wouldn't have found it.

Theeeerreeee it was. Thought you could hide from me, could you?

Yea naw not ever. Bubbul gem get!

Now it's time for a good ol' throwdown with a giant walking ice cube.

All too easy. With a big weapon, just hit it four times and jump off to avoid getting thrown off, and then climb back on to repeat the process. 😁

I forgot about the hearts they leave behind. Excellent for weapon fusions.

Now to return the crystal
