im not sure if you remember your post-3rdlife desertduo fic that had like the Winners Remember headcanon flipped (everyone remembers BUT the winner) but i found it again and I've been thinking about how evil that concept is, esp in terms of SL!Scar.... You're telling me he's trapped in the sunflowers and doesn't even remember WHY. Or what this place IS. Just surrounded by the echoes of carnage and a living statue of the gods keeping him there, kidnapping him and all his friends over and over and over, keeping watch over all of them like they're bugs in a jar...

Since he'd remember every game besides this one, it'd mean he'd likely guess WHY he can't remember anything. And isn't that terrifying? He suddenly knows exactly how Grian felt, all the way back then.

With Secret Life though, maybe Scar not remembering the isolation is a mercy.
