The guitar that I often take with me was bought at the start of ‘14; it’s been almost five years now. I still clearly remember that the place where I bought the guitar was on the top floor of a shopping mall in Beijing. At that time, there were all kinds of instruments in the music store; the cheap ones started at a thousand, and the good ones were over ten thousand. I confidently walked over and asked the salesperson if there were any particularly good ones within two thousand? (At the time I had altogether less than five thousand to my name) And then, from that day on, this instrument became my best friend in Beijing.

In the blink of an eye, this 5 year anniversary of being together, just arrives, and after dimly becoming aware of my surroundings, I discovered that this friend of mine and I were standing on a stage, while below, many people were listening to me sing.

This year, I recorded an EP, wrote new songs, got my own MV and a beautiful song promotion stage to call my own, and even shot a drama But this year also had regrets. I regret that I didn’t write enough songs, that I didn’t have more chances to sing, that I wasn’t able to act in the role of a 192cm tall army general.

But it is because of regret that everyone can look forward to the future.

I’ve handed in my 2018 answer sheet, I will also work hard to get good grades in 2019 as well.
