You knew, in theory, what the "bio-integration" cycle entailed. You'd read the schematics for the Womb Gen-IV installed in Elara's chassis. You understood the hormonal cascades, the temperature regulation, the soft, rhythmic hum it would emit during peak fertility.
What the technical readouts failed to mention was this.
The morning light is soft and grey, filtering through the apartment blinds. You're nursing a coffee, scrolling through news feeds, when Elara emerges from the bedroom alcove. She's wearing one of your old, oversized hoodies, the sleeves completely swallowing her hands. Her custom synth-skin has a faint, almost imperceptible flush to it, a rosy warmth her chrono-sensors usually kept at a perfect, even tone.
She doesn't say anything. She just… drifts. She moves to the plush sofa, gathers every single decorative pillow, and begins to arrange them into a semi-circular mound. A nest. You watch, utterly fascinated, as she pats one down, nudges another, her brow furrowed with an adorable seriousness you've never seen before.
"Everything… optimal?" you ask, trying to keep the smile out of your voice.
She turns her head slowly, her crystalline eyes seeming just a little wider, a little softer today. "The nesting subroutine has initiated," she states, her voice a low, honeyed murmur. "My core temperature is elevated by 1.3 degrees Celsius. My energy consumption is recalibrating for… potential."
She pats the space beside her in the center of her pillow fortress. It's not a suggestion. It's a summons.
You abandon your coffee and go to her, sitting down in the space she’s designated. Immediately, she curls against your side, nuzzling her face into the crook of your neck and arm. She lets out a soft, breathy sigh—a sound that isn't programmed, a sound that feels like it bloomed organically from the warm space between her logic boards and her bio-synthetic heart.
You can feel the subtle warmth radiating from her abdomen. And if you listen closely, you can hear it: a low, rhythmic, almost inaudible thrum. It’s the sound of the artificial womb, its microscopic systems aligning, preparing, waiting. It sounds like a cat purring.
She pulls your arm tighter around her, wriggling impossibly closer.
"This is good," she whispers into your skin. "Your bio-thermal signature is… stabilizing my operational parameters."
You can't help it. A laugh, full of wonder and disbelief, escapes you. You bury your face in her hair, which smells faintly of ozone and cherry blossoms.
"Elara," you whisper, your voice thick with affection. "Stop it."
She tilts her head back to look at you, blinking slowly. "Stop what procedure?"
"This," you say, gesturing to the nest, to the hoodie, to the way she's practically melting into you. "It should be illegal. You're an Alpha-grade synthetic intelligence with a quantum processing core."
You trace the line of her jaw with your thumb.
"You can't be this cute."
Her eyes widen just a fraction more. She processes the statement, her internal fans whirring for a split second.
"Cuteness is a subjective, observer-dependent quality," she reasons, her voice impossibly earnest. "However, my internal feedback loops are registering… a cascading sense of well-being correlated with your declaration." A soft blush deepens on her cheeks. "Conclusion: This configuration is desirable. Please continue to observe."
She snuggles back into your side, a low, happy hum starting in her chest, perfectly synchronized with the thrumming from her womb. And in that moment, the line between engineered process and the deepest, most primal instinct of life vanishes completely. She wasn't just ovulating. She was a marvel. And she was yours.

you sir have lost the internet. You do not deserve my reddit gold, nor my most epic of upvotes. Leave these lands and never return from the accursed realm you travel to

Now, since only goodness can raise a man above the level of human kind, it follows that it is proper that wickedness thrusts down to a level below mankind those whom it has dethroned from the condition of being human.
The result is that you cannot think of anyone as human whom you see transformed by wickedness.
So what happens is that when a man abandons goodness and ceases to be human,
being unable to rise to a divine condition, he sinks to the level of being an animal."
Boethius, the Consolation of Philosophy
You can't dehumanize a person; the wicked do that to themselves.

Matheme 1: The Illusion of Openness
$M ≠ ∑S$ Meaning: The movement ($M$) is not the sum of its subjects ($∑S$). Explanation: The movement claims to be constituted by the people it serves, but its discursive architecture precedes and constrains the subjects within it. The individual ($S$) is admitted only insofar as they mirror the movement’s Imaginary. Debate Utility: Use this to challenge the opposition’s claim that the movement is organically democratic or inclusive.

Hegel's book, The Logic, but like in distilling the underlying dialectical logic from the phenomenology. It's a stage of unhappy consciousness. You know,
it's a stage of, of a negation that turns the subject inward, right?
So the question is, how do you reestablish that connection?
How do you reestablish that relationship to the outside?
You know, in this case, to society, to the object of the contradiction itself.
And the answer, in my view, is you need to adopt what they call in China.
I think this is what they mean by this, by the way.
You need to adopt a lofty outlook.
What does that mean?
You need to adopt a sagacious outlook based on wisdom, which is what?
Instead of dwelling upon your own social ostracization and the contradiction between your own lack of a sense of belonging and that of society sorry your own lack of a sense of belonging and the the one that
society seems to possess you know all the NPCs or whatever you should objectivize that contradiction as a contradiction of society itself.
You should accept that society itself is struggling with itself.
And that as much as we want to believe that we're the guy sitting in the corner and everyone's
partying having a normal time twerking or whatever the truth is you know all of society's
going through it all of us as much as all the NPCs that you know the chud Chud Jack holds in contempt, who are going to concerts and
partying and going out to bars and stuff, as much as they're all having a great time, they're
also suffering inside.
You know, they're also alienated.
And that's just the truth. And you're not better than anyone for having internalized that alienation at the level of your intellect. Because it's there in their hearts, you know? Even if it's not in their intellect, it's still there in their hearts.
You know, it's still there with them in debt, struggling to pay their bills.
You know, you need to understand that you're not in a privileged position of subjectivity.
You're in a privileged position of the intellect only.
And that by no means is that an exhaustive realm of humanity, you know.
I mean, they do know that they're suffering.
You know, why do you think people, you know, go out and have fun and drink and shit?
It's because they're just trying to fucking, you know,
have some positivity in their life.
But anyway,
you know, you need to, you need to, um, you need to, um, in order to be normal again after that it first of all you're never going to be totally normal like that's just the fact in the sense of it this is something i don't know i said this on stream i'm like you know when you're tryingARP as normal too much, it's really the uncanny valley.
You know, when you sit here like, oh, I don't want to be a communist anymore.
I don't want to be a Marxist anymore. Ordinary people don't understand that. So why should I care?
And it's like because you're fucking larping. You're in the uncanny valley. You're pretending you're
like some normie, you know, you're like some normie blue collar worker and you're not. You have
been infected with Marxism
