Seven Magician Headcanons

The Red Mage/Poncho Human discovered their Reset powers after bandits sacked their village when they were little and was killed by one of them while fighting back. The second time around the bandits weren’t so lucky.

All the Mages have names that are based on the color of their Soul. My pick of Poncho Human’s name Reada is rooted in an old English name for “the red one”

Reada meet Asgore as a child and befriended him sort of like a proto Asriel/Chara friendship, but because of Asgore’s royal status as Prince of Monsters they could not meet as often.

Reada probably saved Asgore from a wild animal while he was gathering flowers one day. Afterwards Reada heckled him for not using fire magic to save himself after discovering he could use it.

Cyan Mage was a beggar child before they became a thief.

Green Mage was raised in a baker’s family so they make bread puns almost all the time.

Purple Mage is the tactician of the group while Reada leads the charge/manages the timeline.

Orange Mage would constantly jeopardize party missions by charging ahead (Leroy Jenkins style)

When Reada introduced Asgore to the Group they were all curious as to what kind of monster he was, Cyan piped up “I know what he is, Adorable!” Reada responded “Cyan… you’re absolutely right.” Asgore was mortified.

When Asgore introduced his fiancé Toriel to the Group everyone was enamored with her and Reada threatened to steal her away from him, everyone else followed up with similar remarks.

During the war Reada stopped caring about their physical wellbeing and Pruple Mage had to be the one to feed and wash them while they were not in battle.

Reada would sit in the ashes of fallen monsters for hours after a long battle, no one dared to go near them.

Reada found out the most about the nature of the world they were in because of all the Resets they had to perform, this jaded their outlook on life.

The seven mages were buried in the village near Mt. Ebott Chara, Frisk and the other fallen children would later grow up in, underneath a golden flower patch in the center of it.
