from an outsider perspective, one-third of yugioh cards are the cutest little smeepos you've ever seen, one-third are cute/hot monster chicks, and the last third are batshit crazy buff dudes or freaky little gollums. and the gollums have been dogshit in the meta since 2013. the anime chicks by comparison make your opponent lose in two turns because of a card named like "Princess Nightmare ā GIANTSHADOW" whose ability forces your opponent to juggle broken glass while naming every single card in their deck. how ever none of these insanely broken cards are worth more than 0.02Ā¢ because there have been three thousand reprints of a far more broken card that was banned in 2002

This is the most real MTG post of all time cause I'll give you one guess which of these two cards was an absolute menace in standard and had to be banned and which one hasn't seen any play since getting reprinted

hey, if something makes you mad online, please recognize that you don't have to engage with it. you don't have to read it. you don't have to interact with the post. the most power you have in that situation is to move on. social media can create a toxic cycle of ragebait even with well meaning users, and it's so easy to get stuck in that cycle. if you find yourself upset about a post, a message, a user online, please do the best thing you can for yourself and recognize you have the power to walk away.

I dropped a grand piano on your boyfriend and it just crushed and killed him painfully and wasn't cartoony at all but was still kinda funny/cute/good.

The best piece of advice I ever got was not meant as advice, but as an edict. If I was going to threaten people as a joke, it had to be so far out of proportion with what happened that it would be obvious I was joking. This changed how I expressed frustration with others. It then changed how I expressed frustration with myself.
Not āIām going to hit youā but āI am going to buy a tuna sub from the gas station and hide it under the seat of your carā
Not āIām going to kill myselfā but āI am going to walk into the desert and let the scarabs take meā
The other side then happened. When I mess something up, instead of saying itās bad and perpetuating negative thoughts, swing hard the other way.
Not āthis art is terribleā but āthis shall be framed and mounted on the wall in my museum exhibition as testament to the suffering I had to overcomeā
Have been doing this since high school. It was my drama teacher who asked me to please stop scaring the actors. The other half of the edict was that I had to say it in a polite tone, and end it with either please or thank you.
Life changing. 10/10 Mr Muƫller. Highly reccomend.
