This event will run from the 3rd - 9th of September 2024.

The rules for this event are as follows: 1. No explicit material featuring minors, bestiality, or rape/non-con. 2. Dub-con, major character death, and graphic depictions of violence are allowed so long as they are adequately warned for and tagged. 3. OT3s are allowed, as long as the relationship is F/F/F. 4. All works must feature an F/F pairing as the primary ship. F/NB is allowed. OCs are also welcome. 5. As this is an event for celebrating female characters and relationships, we request that you do not include genderbent canonically male characters in works for this event. 6. Written works can be of any length. Art may be of any medium, including graphics and photosets. Playlists are allowed, we welcome them. 7. We will share 14 prompts for the week, including a Free Space. You do not have to participate in every day. 8. If you share your work on Tumblr, tag it #startrekfemslashweek2024 so we can find and share it!

Day Seven is also a Free Space for anyone to use!

Historically 11th hour relationships have come out of left field (who asked for deanna & worf, bashir & ezri, or seven & the twice her age chakotay??)

I tried to avoid any relationships that had been heavily foreshadowed. But it’s all opinion - you may think some of the above options are obvious, or that pairings I think have obviously been hinted at are not (mariner & boimler, tendi & rutherford, tendi & t’lyn).

You may also not want to think about random pairings, and hope the cycle is over. And you would not be alone.

I like how new trek is desperately trying to dispel the fan assumption that shaking hands is kissing for Vulcans by having Vulcans shake hands aggressively with every human they meet for the first time. and instead everyone’s just like oh so Vulcans are sluts? Vulcans are huge sluts for humans all the time? Vulcans give it up on first contact?
