If you are voting today, VOTE. Remember to love your neighbor, regardless of race, religion, sexuality, immigration status, etc. There is nothing wrong with voting. However, Jesus did not change the world through a voting booth. The early church LOVED their neighbors in a way that deemed them strange. They turned their culture upside down with the way they treated each other which in turn, completely changed how their culture treated them. The early church grew rapidly due to people going out and living like Jesus, caring for others and drawing people in rather than being hateful and shunning those who were different.

You get to speak to your best friend about your thoughts, feelings, your desires, about your appreciation for Him WHENEVER you want, and when the sighs become too deep or the silence creeps in, He already knows your unspoken words. He has you covered. He understands without you needing to pry out a single syllable.. Lay down, kick your feet up, take your time, make conversation & laugh with Him, because I believe our God has humor, and he’ll laugh back. How amazing is this.. look how much of a gift, endless prayer truly is.
