Was recently rewatching some episodes with my brother and decided to doodle the fiery boy because why not

(I actually had no idea the show was still going until recently, call me old but what the heck is a dragon's rising??)

um so obviously I changed the angle (mostly because I was too lazy to draw full bodies-) and I took some creative liberty in the background which was honestly so fun to do

Honestly I totally agree, despite it being one of my favourites there are still parts that don't make sense lol but that's Danny Phantom for ya

So I made a tier list of DP episodes and I gotta know... am I being burned at the stake for this?

Some of the rankings are more for I thought the episode was entertaining and not that it necessarily gave much in the way of progressing the story. And others I just plain thought were boring

Honestly I think it's because I love the whole "what if" concept. I personally just really like time paradox scenarios, butterfly effect that sort of thing. It's been handled other times in the show but I just think that this episode handled it the best. It can be hard to write good time travel like stories. It really reminds me of Back to the Future which is just one of my favourite movies of all time.

I think it just boils down to my personal preferences. But I think the proper spot would be like between S and A, at least for me. Hope that makes at least a bit of sense. (Sorry I just really like having conversation about episodes and stuff-)

We don't talk enough about how goddamn funny Tighnari is. That man is unphased by everything.

Cyno shows up at his doorstep with a small child who is traumatized, illiterate, terminally ill, and has an ancient god sealed away in her body, and asks him to help raise her, and Tighnari's only objection is that he doesn't know how to teach preschool level academics.

He eats a poisonous mushroom, passes out, and has a hallucination and just goes "damn that was crazy. Let me write it down for science."

The dudes in charge of the whole country repeatedly beg him to come work for them and he tells them to fuck off.

The second fatui harbinger, said to be as strong as a god, threatens him and he basically tells him to fuck off too.

The traveler gets possessed by god and then comes back to tell him that the sages are building a false god and he's like "Damn that's fucked up. Anyways I gotta go check on my patient."

Dehya and the Traveler basically say "Hey we are helping Cyno overthrow the government" and he's just like bet.

He get's struck by lightning and is just like "Oof. Anyways gotta go check on my patient, good luck fighting a god".

He finds an illegal sentient robot crab and just adopts it and tells the matra not to worry about it.

He passes out from heat exhaustion in the desert and is just like "Damn. I'll need to bring some sunscreen next time".

Finds out Cyno has a long lost brother/cousin and is just like "Cool. Why don't you come over for dinner, meet the family".

The craziest shit can happen to this man and he's just like "Allright why not. This might as well happen" and I love that about him

I could have done something productive this afternoon, instead I made this- enjoy

(Some may argue Danny and Dani's places should be switched, but I kinda interpret Dani feeling more bad for Vlad as ya know she sees him as a father-)

do you ever think about how danny's sclera flash green when hes mad and that can be dismissed as a trick of the light to bystanders but vlad's ENTIRE EYEBALLS TURN RED when hes doing the scary eyes. and he can just do that.

Danny Phantom was such a stupid and frustrating show because they'd use a weird random moment to dump some of the wildest lore on you and then NEVER touch it again. Oh yeah there was a group of ancient ghosts strong enough to seal away the literal manifestation of war and brutality but anyway here's a fart joke. Sure there's a syndicate of living (?) eyeballs that manipulate existence from the sidelines and also a ghost that's a literal god of time but who cares about that when we can joke about being a vegetarian. A billionaire made his fortune because he literally got ghost powers in college in a horrible disfiguring accident and he's making clones of his ex-friend's son because he so bitterly alone but whatever here's five jokes about the Green Bay Packers and we're gonna turn that dude into a running gag now.

The Ghost Zone is alluded to be fucking alive but we're never gonna talk about it because uh

What Is Other-World?

Other-World is a story that follows the bubbly (and pretty weird) 15-year-old, Suki Asti and her recent discoveries about the universe...
