Folks who become monarchists on the basis of their own tenuous claim to some long-abolished crown are some of the funniest people. Like, yes, your command of genealogy is impressive, but let's go back to the "successfully reinstate the privileges of a throne that's been defunct for four hundred years" part of the plan.

June is Pride Month! This year’s Pride Month marks the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising in New York City, a series of events between police and LGBTQ+ protesters that stretched over 6 days. This was following a police raid on the Stonewall Inn on June 28, 1969. This was considered the tipping point for the modern LGBTQ+ movement in the United States. Across the country, cities hold Pride events in June. This weekend, Sacramento is holding its Pride festival Downtown.
In honor of Pride Month, Howard letterpress printed “HAPPY PRIDE MONTH” using wood type made by the Hamilton Wood Type Company in the 1880s. HAPPY and MONTH is 15 line pica in size and PRIDE is 30 line pica. This was printed with green rubber base ink using our Washington hand press.

i learned that singer Dionne Warwick, upset with misogyny in rap lyrics, once set up a meeting with Snoop Dogg and Suge Knight at her home, where she demanded that they call her a “bitch” to her face. Snoop Dogg later said “I believe we got out-gangstered that day.” (x)

Keaton Music Typewriter, Circa 1936
The Keaton Music Typewriter, invented around 1936, revolutionized music publishing. With a specialized keyboard for musical symbols, it allowed for quick and accurate typing of sheet music. This innovation significantly sped up the production process, meeting the high demand for printed music in the 1930s.

Bro, I was just dicking around on Wikipedia, and I think I've stumbled on the coolest article on the whole site:
How cool is that? Jewish pirates! And some of them explicitly targeted Spanish ships as revenge for the Alhambra Decree. Like this guy:
We need a movie on this mf, stat. Or Sam Aranow can make a video about Moses Cohen Henirques and his role in establishing the Jewish population of Jamaica and in raiding $1 billion in USD from the Spanish treasure fleets--the only person in history to capture a Spanish treasure fleet, by the way. And was instrumental in founding the first synagogue in the Americas, ever. He was not just a kick ass pirate, he was also a kick ass Jew!
