Some trans people say that they felt betrayed when someone told them that “they always gave trans vibes” when they came out. Thinking, “Why didn’t you say anything?” Encouraging others to tell their “egg” friends. Saying they felt like they lost years to delaying their transition, because they weren’t told.
Other trans people say that they were mentally fucked up by people trying to tell them they were trans. They felt angered by people claiming to know them better than they knew themselves. Saying they felt like they lost years to delaying their transition, because they didn’t want the people who spoke down to them about their own identity to feel justified.
There is no conclusion to this post. Just a wide variety of trans experiences.

Transphobe: Pronouns are useless, blah blah blah.
Me: Of course they are! Mother fucker! I speak Persian!
We only have one pronoun, “او,” which you can pronounce like the “oo” in “moon.” That means I use “they/them” for your transphobic ass all the time!
Additionally, we can use “این,” pronounce like the "in" In Berlin. which means “it,” if you are nearby.
We can even omit the pronoun completely. For example, we can say “رفت,” which means someone left, and as you can see, it’s just one word.
We can write poems, and no one knows the gender of our lovers. I don’t know about you, but I think it’s pretty neat.

Help Two Trans Women Living in a Homeless Queer Squatter Camp to Raise $80 for Refilling Our Community Water Tanks!
May 13th 2024
Tumblr media
My girlfriend and I are two transgender homeless women living in Slab City, a homeless squatter town in the middle of the desert.
We live in one of the poorest communities in the United States. None of our neighbors have access to water or other utilities that they don't have delivered to tanks or otherwise provide for themselves.
Summer is rapidly approaching and the heat reaches 120°F
Our camp is dedicated to helping our neighbors and our community. As such, one of our services we provide is two gallons of free water per person per a day.
We don't have an income outside of whatever donations we raise and so if we can't raise money we can't help people.
Please help us raise $80 to fill our water tanks so we can continue to provide this service!
💕 Cash App: $ThistleDD
💕 Venmo: @ThistleDD
💕 PayPal: PayPal.me/ThistleDD
If you can't donate please like, reblog, and share. Every bit of help counts!

(TW: Sex)
My dear lgbt+ kids,
“Can I get pregnant if…?”
When it comes to these questions, it’s generally a good idea to assume that the answer is always yes - it’s better to use a condom when you didn’t necessarily need one than to not use one when you actually needed it. (Obligatory side note here that condoms prevent more than just pregnancy - they’re the only type of birth control that can also prevent STDs!)
But even with a safety mindset, of course we can narrow it down a bit more: you can generally get pregnant if you have ovaries and an uterus, and have vaginal sex with a person who has a penis.
Let’s apply this to some potential questions:
“Can I get pregnant if I am a trans man?”  Yes. Assuming you haven’t had surgery, you can get pregnant as a trans man - even if you are on testosterone. It can stop periods but you may still ovulate. So, if you’re sexually active, it’s important to use birth control while you are on T! (And what if you are a trans man who wants to have a baby? If you are not on T, there are no specific things to consider. If you are on T, please talk to your doctor about pausing the treatment before you start trying for a baby.)
“Can I get pregnant if my partner is a trans woman?” Yes. Assuming she has a penis and is capable of producing sperm, it’s best to assume you can get pregnant and to use birth control accordingly.
“Can I get pregnant if I have sex infrequently?” Yes. It’s understandable if you feel uncomfortable taking a daily pill in this case. But even if you only have sex once a year, you can still get pregnant from that one time. So if you don’t want that to happen, please look into (or ask your doctor about) better options for your situation.
“Can I get pregnant if I pee right after sex?” Yes. Peeing after sex is a good idea to prevent UTIs but it doesn’t prevent pregnancy!
“Can I get pregnant if I drink lots of coffee before sex? What about if I jump up and down after sex?” Yes. I don’t know where the myth comes from that any of that works as “natural birth control” but it certainly doesn’t. Don’t listen to any nonsense like that, trust in what’s proven to be effective, such as condoms and birth control pills.
“Can I get pregnant if I only have oral sex?” No. You can’t get pregnant from oral sex, even if your partner has a penis (and even if you swallow sperm. That lands in your stomach and doesn’t travel to your uterus).
With all my love,
Your Tumblr Dad
