1- Match 08 IPL 2022 PBKS vs KKR full highlights.

Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Punjab Kings by 6 wickets in their third match of IPL 2022.

With this win, Kolkata's team has reached the first position in the points table.

Batting first, Punjab had set a target of 138 runs in front of Kolkata, which Kolkata achieved by losing four wickets.

Andre Russell scored the highest 70 runs for Kolkata. While Umesh Yadav took four wickets.

Kolkata captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and decided to bowl first and Punjab team could not make a big score.

In just 18.2 overs, it was completely reduced and a total of 137 runs could be made. Kolkata chased this target in 14.3 overs.

The partnership of Russell and Billings won Kolkata:-

Andre Russell and Sam Billings put on an unbeaten 90-run partnership for the fifth wicket to help their team win.

Kolkata's team was struggling for 51 runs losing four wickets.

After this, both of them formed a great partnership. Russell hit big sixes and Billings played a brilliant innings of 24 runs playing him well.

Russell hit eight sixes and two fours in his innings, while Billings hit a four and a six.

Apart from Rahul, every bowler in Punjab flopped:-

For Punjab, Rahul Chahar bowled very well in this match, he took two wickets for 13 runs in four overs.

It also included a maiden over. Apart from them, Odion Smith and Kagiso Rabada got one wicket each.

Arshdeep Singh, Harpreet Brar and Livingston could not achieve any success.

Kolkata's opening pair flopped again:-

Kolkata's opening batsmen have been flop this season.

Barring the first match, the opening pair could not do much in the remaining two matches.

In this match too, Rahane was dismissed for 12 and Venkatesh scored three runs. At the same time, Nitish Rana also returned to the pavilion without opening the account.

Captain Iyer scored 26 runs in 15 balls, but could not play a big innings.

Umesh got off to a great start:-

Umesh Yadav again gave a great start to the Kolkata team in this match.

He took a wicket in the very first over in the third consecutive match. He sent captain Mayank Agarwal to the pavilion.

After this, he also took wickets in the middle overs and performed the best performance of his IPL career, taking four wickets for 23 runs in four sides.

Apart from him, Tim Southee took two wickets. Shivam Mavi, Sunil Narine and Andre Russell took a wicket each.

Rajapaksa and Rabada saved the honor of Punjab:-

After losing the toss, opting to bat first, the start of Punjab was not very special.

The captain had returned to the pavilion in the very first over. After this, Bhanuka Rajapaksa batted in a quick manner and scored 31 runs in nine balls.

His innings included three fours and three sixes. Due to Rajapaksa's innings, Punjab scored 62 runs in the powerplay.

In the end, Rabada scored a quick run and took his team to a respectable score.

Punjab could not even play full 20 overs:-

After Rajapaksa's dismissal, the Punjab team kept on losing wickets at regular intervals. Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed for 16, Livingston 19 and Raj Bawa scored 11 runs.

Shahrukh Khan could not even open his account. In the end, Kagiso Rabada scored 25 runs in 16 balls to take his team to a respectable score.

However, Punjab's team could not even play the full 20 overs in this match and got out after scoring 137 runs in 18.2 overs.

2- Jonny Bairstow has joined Punjab Kings.

Many players from England have not been able to participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 till yet.

The reason for this was that the England team was having West Indies tour for bilateral series.

But a good news is coming from Punjab Kings (PBKS) that England wicket-keeper batsman Jonny Bairstow has joined the team of Punjab.

Punjab Kings team shared a photo of Jonny Bairstow in their official Twitter account saying that now Jonny Bairstow has joined Punjab Kings squad.

Although Jonny Bairstow has joined the team of Punjab Kings, Bairstow could not play yesterday's match which was against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) due to being in Quarantine.

Jonny Bairstow will be available for Punjab Kings in next match against Chennai Super Kings on April 3.

Jonny Bairstow was bought by the team of Punjab Kings in the mega auction of IPL 2022 for Rs 6.75 crores.

Jonny Bairstow is a good batsman as well as a very good wicketkeeper.

So we can also see Bairstow doing the role of wicket keeping for Punjab Kings in this year's IPL 2022.

3- Glenn Maxwell reach India before time.

Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell will be seen playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore RCB team in this season's IPL 2022.

But right now Pakistan's tour of Australia is going on in which the test series is over, but the ODI and T20 series are yet to end.

Glenn Maxwell was the part of Australia team in the Test series against Pakistan.

But the Australia Cricket Board has not appointed Glenn Maxwell for the T20 and ODI series against Pakistan.

Hence it was being speculated that Glenn Maxwell would join the Royal Challengers Bangalore team in IPL 2022 by April 2.

But a very good news is coming from the Bangalore team that Glenn Maxwell has joined the Bangalore team ahead of time.

Glenn Maxwell attended Shane Warne's funeral on 30 March after being ruled out of the T20 and ODI series against Pakistan.

After the end of Shane warne's funeral, Glenn Maxwell left for India and this is the reason why Glenn Maxwell has been able to join the Bangalore team so soon.

Although Glenn Maxwell has joined the RCB team, Maxwell will also have to complete a 3-day quarantine and after that he will be allowed to play IPL matches.

“I'm gutted not to be there. It's a frustration watching from home. I wanted to go [into the auction] but I didn't in the end – which was probably the best decision. Looking back, IPL probably came a little bit too soon."

The England all-rounder Sam Curran said that he would be involved in IPL 2022 but doesn't want to take too many risks with his injury.

“I could have probably rolled the dice and said 'let's go'. I'm back bowling in the nets now, so if you work it out, I could probably have been bowling out there. But I’m still quite young, so I didn’t want to overdo it with the match intensity and big crowds out there and risk another injury from coming back too early.”

Sam Curran also said that "really frustrated" for not registering his name for the IPL auction.

“At the time, I was really frustrated that I didn't go into the auction, but looking back at how the last couple of months have gone – I haven't been part of Surrey's winter for a long time, so it has been nice to be part of it again."

Sam Curran further added that he wanted to come back in IPL in upcoming session.

“I definitely want to go back [to the IPL] at some stage because you learn so much about your T20 game there: it's a tournament when you live and breathe cricket. You go down for breakfast every day and you're sitting with superstars, sitting down and chatting about the game."

5- Suresh Raina may announce his retirement this season.

As we all know that in this season IPL 2022 MR. IPL Suresh Raina has not been bought by any team.

Although Suresh Raina was playing for the team of Chennai Super Kings last year.

But in this season IPL 2022, the team of Chennai has neither retained nor bought Suresh Raina.

Super Kings batting first scored 210 runs for seven wickets. Robin Uthappa scored 50, Shivam Dubey 49 and Moeen Ali scored 35 runs for Super Kings. The secretary of cricket board in India Jay Shah has announced the new tender of media rights for IPL from 2023 to 2027 in his official Twitter account. Now the board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) has announced huge amount of INR 33,000 crores as the minimum bid for media rights of IPL from 2023 to 2027. The last date to purchase the tender document is May 10. The auction will likely be in June. The stage for a possible bidding war between Star, Sony-Zee, TV18/Viacom18 and Amazon among others. This season also Star India have tender for IPL media rights, Star India community had confirmed IPL media rights in 2018 for the next 5 years till 2022. The IPL media rights tender, confirmed by Star India, is set to expire after the 2022 IPL this year. In 2018, Star India gave 16,347.50 crore ($ 2.55 billion) to BCCI for IPL media rights. But for the coming 5 years, BCCI has estimated ($6 billion) for IPL media rights. Which is probably possible because IPL is the most watchable tournament in the world and it is going to rise in future as well. 4- Mitchell Marsh could take part in IPL 2022 by 6 April. A lot of questions are already being raised on the availability of Australian players. Because, at present a bilateral series is going on between Australia and

Pakistan. The Test series between Australia and Pakistan is over, but the T20 and One Day ODI series is not over yet. So many players from Australia will miss the first 2 to 3 weeks of IPL 2022. Australia all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been ruled out from the Pakistan tour due to a hip flexor injury. Due to the injury, there were more chances that Mitchell Marsh could not participate in the 2022 IPL. But now a good news is coming from the Australia Cricket Board that Mission Mars is recovering from his hip flexor injury and may also participate in IPL 2022. Today I am going to share with you 10 daily cricket updates March 29 2022, With accurate information. So, without delay let's get started with 1st update.

1- 5th Match IPL 2022 SRH vs RR full Highlights. Rajasthan Royals (RR) kicked-off the season with a commanding 61-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Match 5 of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Chasing 211, SRH got off to the worst possible start as Prasidh Krishna and Trent Boult combined to rattle the top-order. Skipper Kane Williamson was dismissed on 2, while Rahul Tripathi and Nicholas Pooran failed to open their innings. Meanwhile, Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal provided RR with a solid start after they were invited to bat first. The pair added 58 runs for the opening wicket before Jaiswal was dismissed by Romario Shepherd on 20(16). Umran Malik then dismissed Buttler on 35 off 28 balls. Sanju Samson along with Devdutt Padikkal added 73 (41) for the third wicket, before Padikkal was cleaned up by Malik on 41 (29). Samson completed his half-century but was dismissed soon on 55(27) by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Shimron Hetmyer then took charge and played a late cameo of 32 in just 13 deliveries, helping his side post 210/6 on the board. In response, SRH could only manage 149/7 in their 20 overs. Thus the Rajasthan Royals (RR) comfortably won the 5th Match of IPL 2022 by 61- runs.

2- Mitchell Marsh could miss entire IPL 2022. This year, many overseas players will not be able to participate in the IPL 2022 due to bilateral series or injury. Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh is all set to miss the 1st ODI against Pakistan on March 29 after he suffered and injury while training. Mitchell Marsh has reportedly suffered a hip flexor injury and is likely to miss entire ODI series against Pakistan. This also put his IPL 2022 campaign in doubt as well. Mitchell Marsh was picked up by Delhi capitals (DC) for 6.50 Crores. Mitchell Marsh could miss entire IPL 2022 due to his injury.

3- Moeen Ali has joined Chennai Super Kings. As I mentioned in some of my previous post, England all-rounder Moeen Ali has not been able to reach India due to non-confirmation of visa. But now after the confirmation of visa, Moeen Ali has joined Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Moeen Ali could not play the first match of IPL 2022 chennai super kings vs kolkata knight riders due to unavailability. But now Moeen Ali will be seen playing all the matches ahead of Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2022. Moeen Ali's return to the Chennai team can benefit CSK a lot.

4- Statement of Yuzvendra Chahal on RCB. In this season's IPL 2022, Yuzvendra Chahal will not be seen playing for the RCB team as the Bengaluru team did not retain Chahal or bought him in the mega auction. For the last 7 years, Yuzvendra Chahal was playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team, but now this street is broken. There will be no Women's IPL this year, but the BCCI has confirmed that the Women's IPL will be organized in 2023 next year. Co-owner of Punjab Kings Ness Wadia has given big Statement on Women's IPL. Punjab Kings co-owner Ness Wadia said that, "We would be more interested to own a team in women's IPL". The BCCI had contacted the current IPL team owners and asked if they would buy teams in the women's IPL to be held in the future. Women's Cricket viewership is very less So, Most of the current IPL team owners have refused to buy women's IPL team except Punjab Kings co-owner Ness Wadia.

List of 20 unavailable players till now just before starting IPL 2022 are:- KKR- Aaron Finch and Pat Cummins. PBKS- Johnny Bairstow and Kagiso Rabada. RR- Rassie van der Dussen and Nathan Colter Nile. GT- David Miller and Matthew Wade. LSG- Marcus Stoinis and Quinton de kock. SRH- Aiden Markram, Sean Abbott and Marco Jansen. CSK- Moeen Ali. RCB- Glenn Maxwell, Josh Hazlewood and Jason Behrendorff. DC- David Warner and Mitchell Marsh. Till now these 20 overseas players have not arrived in India and most of them will be unavailable till the first week of the IPL 2022. All these overseas players are very important players for their respective franchise teams. The team may have to face a huge impact if these players are not available in the early stages of the IPL 2022.
