How would you rate the tnr dragons outside of the furys and is their anything you would want them to change when designing new dragons?

The Floodfangs are my favorite TNR-only dragons, with featherhides being a close 2nd.

Honestly, as much as I DO enjoy watching TNR, I really do feel as though the dragons designed for it are...lacking. I dunno, I just feel as though RTTE and other HTTYD series had better designs and lore for their dragons while TNR kinda has dragons that are...a little too wonky for my tastes.

I mean:

I mean, the last two don't even look like dragons and the evolved scuttleclaw was made to look ugly and is also a really annoying dragon now. They used to be cute and funny, but hyper-speed evolution made them bad.

So yeah, if I had to change TNR-specific dragons, I'd just frankly redo these guys entirely. Make them more like HTTYD dragons and less like weird cave abominations/too cartoony.

And I'm not saying this because Original HTTYD=Superior and anything TNR=BAD or whatever else most of the fandom sees it as, but as an artist and a fan, TNR just...hasn't delivered on a real WOW-impacting design yet.
