every single time i hear "separation of religion from state" vs church from the state i mclose it because. while yes you're talking about something important. that's how christian culture evolved. and not necessarily a good or fair representation of how other religions and nations evolved. if you can't see that you shouldn't make points about ethnostates and wars based on religion.

#“are you saying any nonchristian majority country doesn't have separation” no #what i am saying that even in the christian world you have some examples like russia or greece #or italy #where the line is fairly difficult to say that the church is fully separated from the government #and this line gets only more blurry when certain laws that are “in fashion” with both most churches and most govts arent for other religion #its complicated #and its not easy to sum and be like oh i have done my activism for today
