Hello!! I was stargazing and looking for shooting stars with my best friends last week and I wonder how the GOM and Kagami would feel if their crush invited them to come stargazing with them?

☆ Kuroko:

funnily enough, the two of you had the same idea, namely invite the other one to go stargazing together the upcoming weekend

surprisingly for Kuroko you were actually the one to speak out the invite first

it happened one day after basketball practice in Maji burger

you’d usually meet there from time to time and just talk about how your day went and Kagami was often there as well, but you specifically waited for a day where it was just the two of you

“So, what do you think Tetsuya? D-Do you have time this weekend?” you asked a little shyly while fiddling with the straw of your drink

“Of course, I’d be honored to join you” he’d answer not short after with a soft blush adorning his cheeks

just before you let out a sigh of relief the young man in front of you would actually giggle to himself at the realization that the two of you had the same plan

he wouldn’t tell you of course, he’d keep that secret for himself

as the days neared Kuroko would actually start thinking about how he could make the planned evening more special

Since (Y/N) invited me, I should at least do something to show how much I’ve been looking forward to it

just as he was thinking about it, it suddenly clicked and he froze

you, his crush since he’d arrived in Seirin actually asked him out…him out of all people

he felt his face heat up again and the moment he heard the familiar voice of his red-haired friend call out to him, he covered his lower face with his hand and tried to calm himself down

“As expected…I arrived earlier than expected” you mumble to yourself as you look around the small spot in the local park you found for tonight’s meeting

while you look around, you notice other couples and groups that took a seat on picnic blankets, ready to look at the starry night sky and maybe catch a shooting star to two, because according to the news it was rumored that some were to appear tonight

that’s when a dog’s barking caught you off guard, causing you to turn towards its source, only to be greeted by a black fur ball that jumped straight into your arms

“Nigou! I told you to not jump at people like that” you heard a soft but slightly stern voice call out to the dog that was cuddling up to you

“Tetsuya, you’re here!” you announced happily the moment you saw the young man who you’d been waiting for

he smiled down at you and attempted to take their team’s mascot from you, but had to give up rather quickly

the two of you settled down on the blanket you had prepared and began chatting about this and that until you eventually went silent

Kuroko looked down at his hands and thought about finally telling you about his feelings, so he took a deep breath and glanced at your direction

“(Y/N)…there’s something I’d like to tell you” he began and shyly looked back and forth between you and some random place in the park, “you know I was really looking forward t-to tonight and not only because of the stars, b-but also because I get to be here with you…and I really l-”

Look a shooting star!

the sudden outcry of one of the other people behind you made you both look up to the sky so you could catch the long-awaited phenomenon

“What did you want to say Tetsuya?”

while your eyes were still stuck on the dark sky above, a pair of blue eyes were admiring your facial features with a soft smile

“It was nothing important…it can wait”

☆ Kagami:

catching this young man somewhere out of the school’s gym was nearly impossible, so after trying to get him on his own for so long and repeatedly failing you eventually decided to sit down and wait for him to finish

“Kagami, wait up! There’s something I need to talk to you about” you called after him as he slowly made his way out

“(Y/N)? You were here the entire time? Why didn’t you say anything?” he asked completely clueless to your surprising visit

you placed your hands on your hips and chewed him out for being too focused on throwing one basket after the other and only when you’d gotten that out of your system did you proceed to the invitation

“There is going to be a meteor shower tomorrow evening so I was wondering whether you wanted to join me.”

“Yes of course, gladly, though I’m not sure if that’s really something for me, but I don’t mind trying! Shall we eat something before that, my treat!”

his enthusiasm and unexpected invitation caught you more off guard than him so all you could do was nod in response

“Perfect, I’ll give you a call at around 6PM tomorrow for the details. Until then!”

and just like that he left you behind speechless and pleasantly surprised

as promised you got a call from Kagami at 6PM during which he directed you to a little playground in his neighborhood, where he eventually picked you up

the two of you went to his house where he’d already prepared something warm for the two of you to eat before heading out

he was really welcoming and gentlemanly, giving you a small tour before sitting you down and starting to eat

unbeknownst to the two of you, time flew by while you guys had an amazingly fun time talking and eating the delicious food Kagami had made for you

eventually it hit you and you sprang up in shock “Oh my god Kagami! The meteor shower!”

he needed a little before actually understanding what you were implying

“Oh my god, I’m sorry I got carried away, let’s hurry and we might actually catch it!”

while you jogged to the hallway to get ready he took a look outside his windows, calling you over and despite your many protests you joined him and saw what he meant

“Who would’ve thought that we’d be able to see it from your balcony” you eventually murmured under the your breath with a hint of relief in your voice

your fascination with the sight before you made you miss the smile on the young man’s face

“(Y/N), I also prepared some dessert so…shall we sit back down?” he asked with slightly flushed cheeks, the dessert being an obvious excuse for something else he might’ve wanted to share with you

☆ Kise:

Kise would be more than happy to get invited by you and he’d make it known by shouting how he’s already looking forward to it and how you aren’t going to regret it

at his slightly over the top reaction you’d just smile and try to hide your embarrassment from all the looks the two of you were getting

I should’ve asked him in a more private place rather than in the middle of the hallway during recess…

still, you were happy that he reacted that way and were pretty relieved that he didn’t blow you off

what you wouldn’t know though is how he’d actually panic afterwards and go through a small episode where he contemplates whether it was a good idea to agree

“Weren’t you crushing on (Y/N)?” Kasamatsu would eventually ask one day, when he notices that Kise is genuinely freaking out about it and it’s not his typical way of trying to get sympathy and attention, “Isn’t it like the perfect scenario for you to finally confess?”

“C-Confess?…Confess?! Kasamatsu senpai are you crazy? I don’t have any idea about astrology in the first place and you just want me to skip straight to the final stage?!”

and that’s how the first few days would go down; the blond man constantly finding little problems in the hope to find an excuse not to go but after a few slaps from his upperclassmen he’d realize just how lucky he truly was

(Y/N) also had a lot of courage to ask me out like that…so I have to make up for it, be a man and get out there and make this night unforgettable

on the faithful night he’d be pretty nervous and arrive 20 minutes earlier than promised

these 20 minutes were hell for him but only until he heard footsteps approaching, glancing up and locking eyes with you, that was when all those worries were gone like the wind

the two of you had each brought something to eat and drink, additionally, you had a big picknick blanket for you to sit on while Kise had brought two smaller ones just in case you got cold with just your jackets

at first the atmosphere was a tad tense, resulting in a rather long period of silence during which the two of you looked up at the sky and pondered whether you should say something or stay silent

funnily enough, both of you were thinking more or less the same thing, namely how you probably bored the other one

“Say (Y/N)-” / “Say Kise-”

that little blunder immediately made the two of you laugh, reliving the remaining tension between you and you were finally able to chat with each other properly

“You know (Y/N)-cchi,” Kise eventually said, “I was really nervous for today, I didn’t want to seem uncool to you and even tried to learn a little about the stars so I could make this little date more worthwhile for you”

at the mention of the word date you blushed slightly and smiled “How come you think that I’d be bored with you Kise?”

his big yellow eyes looked at your face and his pulse quickened at the sight of your flushed cheeks as he attentively listened to your explanation on why you invited him so you could spend some time with each other and have a nice evening while you gazed at the stars

moments after you’d finished your monologue you felt warm fingers graze your own

“…thank you (Y/N)-cchi, there really isn’t anything better for me than being with the person I l-love the most” he whispered the last part hoping that you would miss it, but your red and smiling face proved him wrong

☆ Midorima:

if it weren’t for the fact that you invited him to one of his favorite activities besides basketball, he would be a stammering and blushing mess trying to tsundere his way out of it saying stuff like “I’ll be joining you b-because of the stars and nothing else! I-It’s for science!”

moving on, he’d genuinely be surprised because the moment you chose to invite him was during lunch break, where he usually was on his own or getting annoyed by Takao

at first he wouldn’t react much, just adjust his glasses and ask why you chose him

but the moment that question leaves his mouth he’d regret it, worrying that he sounded indifferent to it (which was obviously not the case)

when he sees you grin happily though, all his worries were blown away

“I know that you’re a fan of stuff like that so I thought you might want to join me…unless I assumed wrong a-”

“I’ll be there. Tomorrow was it? How does 5 PM sound?”

now it was you who was thrown aback by his sudden enthusiasm, but it was a big relief so you confirmed what he’d suggested, but before you could properly tell him goodbye he murmured a quick until then and had sprinted back into his classroom, wanting to hide his blushing cheeks from you more than anything

on the day of your stargazing meetup he’d actually be there an hour earlier and set everything up; from a blanket on which the two of you could sit on to his own telescope, he’d have everything ready and then proceed to note different stuff down on his notebook until you arrived

the moment you arrive at the meeting spot you’d be more than just surprised

you did come prepared, as in: having some snacks ready and a blanket but compared to the young man it was nothing

“I’m sorry, I hope you didn’t have to wait long” you’d apologize and instantly freeze up when you see just how much he went out with everything

he’d just shake his head and occasionally steal glances in your direction to see what kind of reaction you’d give him so when you actually speak up, Midorima would jump a little and start listening like his life depended on it

“You were quite prepared for tonight huh? …now I feel kinda bad for co-”

“Don’t!” he would interrupt and instantly be embarrassed about shouting like that, before continuing “…I was looking forward to it, that’s why”

you’d smile and state how you should’ve expected it since it’s something he likes while you look up at the starry night sky

the young man next to you would clench his fists and glance towards you once again before murmuring, that you were the main reason he was so excited for today

☆ Aomine:

inviting Aomine to something like stargazing was an impossible task, even if you were his crush

one of your first mistakes was sharing your plans with Momoi beforehand, because she was so excited for the two of you to finally have a “date” during which he could confess

she ran to him moments after and began suggesting how he should answer, behave, and prepare for that night

and as expected he got super annoyed, not only did he hate it when Momoi was butting into his business - his feelings in that case - but also by telling him about your plans it kinda ruined the surprise for him

I wanted to hear it from (Y/N)’s mouth…

that annoyance stayed with him even when you came to fulfill your part and actually invite him

he was on the school’s rooftop (as always), hands behind his head as a makeshift pillow, eyes closed, and one of his knees bent upwards

“Aomine, you up?” you gently asked the moment you’d kneeled down besides him

instead of a proper answer, all you got was a silent mm so you took that as a yes and proceeded to the actual invitation

you were aware that stargazing might not have been the most suiting activity for someone like him, but all you wanted was to spend some time with him in peace

so when you saw him furrow his brows in annoyance and slowly get up, you couldn’t help but shut up

“This is ridiculous”

that was all he said before leaving you alone

God damn it…why did I say that?

he immediately regretted what he’d done and wanted to turn back to apologize but by the time he’d made up his mind, it was too late

on the night of the stargazing you sat down and wrapped a small blanket around yourself to warm up while gazing up to the night sky

you pulled your knees towards yourself and leaned your chin on your kneecaps

“Guess I’ll be all alone for this one, huh?”

“Then how about some company?”

the sudden presence of someone else startled you and made you want to look back to see who it was, but before you could, you felt a big hand place a beanie on top of your head, robbing you from all vision

while you fumbled with it, the person plopped themself down next to you and laughed at your struggling form

once you’d adjusted the beanie you were finally able to recognize who had joined you

“A-Aomine…?”

“Sorry I’m late, but I had some snacks to buy, couldn’t come empty-handed now could I?”

you smiled at him, happy that he came in the end, but you had to admit that you were curious as to how that mind-change occurred and you unconsciously spoke that question out loud

“Well…if im honest with you, I actually found out about your plan to invite me a-”

“God…did Momoi tell you?” you inquired and immediately face palmed as you saw him nod

“It annoyed me too, you know? I didn’t want to hear it from her after all” he paused and scratched his cheek before continuing, “but I’m still glad you even had those intentions, s-so…thank you, I’m really glad to be here with you”

you nodded, a grin adorning your face at the sight of Aomine’s blushing face

☆ Murasakibara:

he’d be so caught off guard that you actually approached him that he’d freeze up and for the duration of you inviting him his head would be somewhere in the clouds

“So I was wondering whether you’d like to join me and stargaze together” you’d ask, cheeks slightly flushed

“Mhm”

“Ok perfect then how does this Saturday night sound?”

“Mhm”

“Ok then…until then, Atsushi!”

“Mhm”

the moment you’re gone from sight his teammates and friend would jog up to him with big grins on their faces and congratulate the purple giant for finally having the opportunity to spend some alone time with his longtime crush, aka. you

You finally did it big guy!

Yeah, congrats! Now make sure to actually tell her your feelings, else this would’ve been for naught!

Senpai, I don’t think we should rush him, let’s just leave it to these two.

while everyone was overjoyed for him all Murasakibara could say was: “What just happened?”

to that everyone began laughing, saying how much of a shy guy he was when it came to you but little did they know that he was serious

the tall young man only remembered how you’d called out to him while slowly closing the distance between you two and after that everything was foggy, until of course his basketball team’s captain had slapped his back with a grinning face

“Say Atsushi…should you really be here with us?” asked Himuro a little reluctant as he looked to his tall friend who was holding a big bag full of different snacks

with his full mouth, said man just glanced over to the man beside him, seemingly confused

realizing that Murasakibara truly had no clue about what day it is, he stopped and told him how tonight he was supposed to meet up with you for stargazing…

meanwhile you were sitting on a picnic blanket you’d brought for the two of you, waiting for the young man to finally show up

He probably forgot…or maybe he…he didn’t want to come in the first place

you felt how tears started to obscure your vision so you blinked a couple of times before getting up and sighing in frustration about the way you immediately thought about the worst case scenario

“(Y/N)-chin!!!”

the sudden scream of your name made you jump and before you could turn to its source you felt a big mass collide with you, causing the two of you to fall over

“(Y/N)-chin, I’m so sorry I’m late, please don’t go!”

the person who’d just tackled you to the ground and was holding onto you like his life depended on it, was none other than Murasakibara

you began laughing at his adorable behavior and placed your hand on top of his head, reassuring him that you wouldn’t leave and that you just wanted to take a small walk

the way you tried to calm him down wasn’t working because no matter what you said the young man could see the tears you tried to blink away and without thinking he reached for your cheeks, cupping them, and slowly bringing your faces close to each other…

☆ Akashi:

the act of asking out the most successful and popular student from Rakuzan was something like an event in itself and everyone that was in the vicinity, witnessing the courageous students that dared it, always ended up feeling sad

so of course, not many dared take that step and you usually wouldn’t either, but Akashi was someone you’d gotten to know a little bit better over the course of the past few months and you just wanted to invite him to go out with you to look at the stars together, nothing more

when you stood in front of his class’ room everyone that was present couldn’t help but listen in and secretly pray that he wasn’t too harsh with you

much to everyone’s surprise, the way he greeted and talked to you was absolutely different than what they were used to

“How can I help you (Y/N)? Is there anything you need help with?”

“No no nothing like that…I was just wondering whether you’d have the time this Friday evening to go stargazing together”

the young man was slightly caught off guard and needed a little to process the sudden invitation until he agreed with his usual soft smile

you both agreed on a time and place before saying goodbye to each other

you smiled happily to yourself completely missing out on the smile that also adorned the red-haired man’s face as he saw you go down the hallway

Who would’ve thought that you’d be the one to ask me out first, (Y/N)…seems like I also have to put my back into it

Friday evening Akashi had arrived way ahead of the agreed time to prepare everything to ensure that you both had a comfortable time while stargazing

but he made sure to not go all out with everything just because he was worried he might scare you off or something like that

just as he was thinking about it he heard his phone vibrate and upon looking at its screen he saw your message of having arrived and that you’d need a couple of minutes to arrive

“Good evening (Y/N),” he greeted you the moment he saw you approaching, a bouquet of flowers in his hands which he handed to you when you were in front of him

“A-Akashi, that really wasn’t necessary,” you said after gratefully accepting and smelling them

the young man giggled slightly and motioned that you had some dust on your nose which you immediately tried to remove in embarrassment

“May I?” he eventually asked when he saw you struggling and proceeded to gently clean your nose with his finger

“(Y/N) there’s something I need to tell you,” Akashi announced and extended his hand to you before continuing, “but first, we have a meteor shower to look at…shall we?”

Kagami:

❥ “love goes through the stomach” as many say and Kagami is one of the fellow people who agree with that statement; when you come back home your beaten expression is message enough for the man to put on his apron and start preparing dinner for you and it was a matter of minutes for his professional cooking skills to catch your attention and make you smile at how playfully and professionally he prepares everything; the perks of joining him entail many kisses and even a couple of hugs

Kise:

❥ the moment everything comes crashing down and you can’t hold your emotions back, whether you start crying, screaming, throwing stuff around, insulting people left and right Kise would stand aside and look at you with his big but glassy puppy eyes, his heart hurting up until the point where he’d stand in front of you and wait for you to lean on him for support

Midorima:

❥ giving words of comfort was never this man’s forte, so he’d be more than just taken aback when he sees you being emotionally drained; while you’re lost in your thoughts trying to process everything, he’d start thinking of a way to distract you from it and what better way than with his love for horoscopes and stars? Midorima would simply come up to you, take your hand, bring you out to the terrace and start talking about constellations until even you have to giggle at his nerdy way of comfort

Aomine:

❥ Aomine isn’t someone you’d like to have around when you had a bad day, he’s rather harsh and uninterested so that he doesn’t help much when needed, but there are times when even he himself just can’t help but want to support you, especially when it’s really hard for you; he’d stand in front of you and wait for you to say or do something and when you don’t he’d take matters in his own hands, press you against a wall, shower you with kisses, and wait until you’re ready to talk

Murasakibara:

❥ no matter what kind of problem you’re facing, Murasakibara is always the anchor for you that would be there and help you with whatever, but in the majority of times you’d always be the one to go up to him and look for support; one day you were so agitated that you didn’t pay him any mind and continued brooding over the things that happened to you so when you felt his big arms wrap around you from behind you were more than just surprised, him kissing your neck and whispering comforting lines next to your ear was ultimately what made you melt against his broad chest

Akashi:

❥ if there’s anyone more suited for comforting or bringing you on other thoughts then that’s him, not only is he able to figure out what bothers you, but he also knows when to stop asking/talking about it and change the subject; while you’re looking out of the window still not able to take your mind off today’s happenings, he’d light a couple of aromatic candles, put on some of your favorite relaxing music, and gently take your hands, wrap them around his neck, and start swaying from side to side alongside you, kissing you softly and caressing your head

The two of you went out on a date and you were walking around hand-in-hand, chatting away, laughing, and just having a good time in general, but the moment one of the familiar songs from TikTok reach your ears you just can’t help but let go of your lover’s hand and just start dancing in the middle of the street. He’d be pretty caught off guard for a short while at first, but just seeing you smiling to yourself while you move your body in accordance to the music in the background would even fill him with the desire to just join you, and he eventually would.

He’d just take your hand in his and try to copy your movements to the best of his abilities, constantly chuckling at how enthusiastically you try to teach him and teasing you about it too. Even if you felt a little (or maybe even a LOT) embarrassed at first, having him next to you helping you indulge in your little moment would make you feel super relaxed eventually and you know what they say…once you’re really into it, it becomes a live-worthy show many pedestrians would happily watch and clap to.

[HYPING YOU UP] GANG

So for this one you’re in a certain store (maybe one of the bigger ones like clothing, appliances, etc.), and your lover is currently either talking to a staff member or comparing the two products in his hands while you look around in boredom so of course the moment you hear that familiar tune from the speakers you just can’t help but grin as you remember that one dance from TikTok you practiced alongside it, and before you know it, you’d stepped a few meters away from your companion and had started to dance.

His initial reaction would be shock and surprise, if he was still talking then know that the conversation is over the moment you start your little performance; if he still held the products, he’d just put them back without looking because he’s got something more mesmerizing to look at, namely you. He would be one of those that just start bobbing their head to the melody and gradually smile wider and wider with every passing moment, eventually, he’d either take out his mobile phone to take a video where he constantly switches from you to his face going Look at (Y/N) go!! And here I thought I couldn’t fall in love more with you!, he’d just clap and grin at any passerby silently muttering This is my lover as to not interrupt your momentum, and whenever you did a really smooth move he’d try his best to whistle as if he was at a stadium and go Yeees!! Work it, baby, just like that!!

THE [WALK AWAY BECAUSE THEY SUDDENLY DON‘T KNOW YOU] CLUB

↳ Midorima, Murasakibara

He usually liked the peace and quiet he got to have with you during your date or small walk around the park/town/streets etc. so you can imagine how much it actually flabbergasted him the moment you started dancing to a random passerby’s ringtone, which just so happened to be that one TikTok song you very often danced to. Even if the melody was long gone, you still continued humming and moving your body accordingly and even went so far as to ask your boyfriend to join you. He on the other hand though was absolutely embarrassed, cheeks slightly flushed and his eyes darting left and right in slight panic while he continuously warned you that you were in public and you should just stop and walk normally.

The moment he saw even one pair of eyes on you and him from a random person, he’d just freeze up, turn around, and start walking away at a fast pace, completely ignoring your calls, acting as if he didn’t know you and was just a random passerby that happened to be…too close to you during your little act. In the end, you’d just jog up to him, take his hand in yours and proceed to tease him about being embarrassed. He would need a short while to recover and talk normally to you, but eventually, he’d just squeeze your hand back and mumble a silent those were some great moves under his breath.

a few years passed since the two of you had become a couple and soon you were reaching a point in your relationship in which you started wondering about marriage

even if you hadn’t brought it up yet, Akashi was aware of your worries and didn’t waste time setting things in motion

you fondly look back on that afternoon on which you had come back home and he was waiting for you in the backyard with a small tea party prepared for the two of you

and when you thought that things couldn’t get any better, the young man had placed a small box in your hand and asked you whether you wanted to spend the rest of your life by his side

Oh my god yes, yes!! you had shouted out with glee, throwing yourself in the young man‘s arms and showering him with kisses; the two of you with glassy eyes filled with nothing but happiness for your upcoming future

the plans for the wedding, fortunately, went smoothly and without any mishaps

contrary to many peoples’ beliefs the two of you didn’t have one of those gigantic and sometimes over the top ceremonies, but preferred a smaller and more modest one only for your closest relatives and friends

the most special thing about it was that the entire generation of miracles as well as his former Rakuzan teammates were invited

even though they’d been invited to the wedding ceremony only, all of them insisted on helping the two of you out with organizing and taking care of everything and didn’t let up until each of them had a job assigned

when you finally stand face-to-face with your soon to be husband both of you can’t help but smile at each other, happy that your relationship will only deepen from now on

after the usual procedures, you were prompted to make your vows, slide the rings on each other’s fingers, and finally kiss

the young man’s vow consisted of many thank yous, directed towards your character, the fact that you stuck with him through thick and thin, how you never gave up on him, and many more that made you tear up

the moment the two of you kissed roaring applause erupted in the venue, commemorating your marriage

during the after-party, you talked and danced with nearly everyone and when your feet finally gave out, your husband took you by the arm and lead you to a secluded bench

“Today was the best day of my entire life (Y/N)…you made me the happiest man by becoming my wife” he whispered as he gave your head a gentle kiss

the rest of the evening went on in a calmer matter than before

everyone had taken a seat around the table and was reminiscing about the past, many jokes were made, and all in all, it ended with everyone going back home with a big smile on their face

needless to say, your now husband was so happy with today that he’d gladly marry you one (or many more) times in a different style, whether you’d choose traditional Japanese because of your fascination with the culture or a more religious one because of your traditions and beliefs he’d never refuse to proclaim his love for you

the plans for the honeymoon would follow pretty quickly and are being made by the two of you of course

this time though Akashi wouldn’t offer or recommend you anything from his past experiences, he’d just ask you what plan you had and discuss it alongside you

by the end of your chat, you’d have a rough plan drafted out that only needed the seal of approval from the travel agency

you’d go on a world tour and stay at each country you decide to visit for two days, during which you’d tour its most famous attractions and activities

but if you preferred to stay at home and just make yourselves a good time, then trust me Akashi and his widespread interests would definitely guarantee an amazing honeymoon

and of course, the topic of building a family with him is going to be addressed during your time together

he’d bring his arms around you and press your body towards his chest, leaning his chin gently on your shoulder as he looks at your reflection on the window in front

“(Y/N)…don’t you think it's getting a little lonely with just the two of us?”

you weren’t sure how to react to the sudden question and his direct way caught you a little off guard so at first, you weren’t quite sure what he was aiming at so you continued looking at the night landscape before you

“Are you thinking about getting a pet?” you carefully asked and wondered why he chuckled as an answer

the young man then hummed in an amused tone and gave you a quick peck on your cheek before responding: “Mmm not quite. I was thinking more about…a child”

the moment he finished his sentence you looked back and were met by his affectionate red eyes that showed no signs of a joke

you muttered a silent really? before turning to face and embrace him

“Yes, really…and if you’re up for it we can start working on that right now. What do you say?” he asked as he let his hands glide down to your hips, a suggestive smile on his lips

and with that, you spent the last night of your honeymoon in his embrace

even before you decided on having a child, Akashi was a great husband

he usually could do the majority of his work from home so he helped out with housework as much as possible

at first, it took him a while to get used to not having anyone go after him and clean anything he’d touch, but it was a welcomed change in his eyes

whenever you finished your work he’d cuddle with you for a while, during which he’d ask you how everything went and if you had no desire to talk about work-related work he’d simply proceed to talk about the most random things that he knew would cheer you up

spending time with you was his biggest priority so whenever the weekend came around the two of you would plan some kind of activity (both indoors or outdoors…whichever you preferred on that day)

surprisingly, he was more proactive in doing stuff together than you anticipated, and when you asked him about it he explained that it was because he was so overjoyed of being by the side of his loved ones and his newfound freedom gave him the extra push he needed to be that giddy about everything

he was so observant that even the slightest change didn’t go unnoticed

it was thanks to that trait of his that you found out you were pregnant

the moment you told him the result of the many tests you did he smiled warmly at you and wrapped you in the perhaps tightest hug you’ve received from him to date

during the preparations for your new family member, he’d go all out in his attempts to give his little one the best possible welcome, and if it weren’t for you to reign him in who knows what he might’ve done

but he wasn’t as calm about it as you might think he was

Akashi was brought up in a rather harsh household so he was plagued by bad thoughts that forced him to think he might not be suited as a father

W-What if I end up scarring our child?

these and many other similar thoughts haunted him for quite a while and even when you couldn’t remove all of them, his trusted friends and former teammates did an outstanding job at helping you out

so by the end of your pregnancy, he had gained a good amount of confidence that he’d do a great job alongside you and raise a child in who the two of you can take great pride in

needless to say, during the time you went into labor he was with you till the very end and when you had fallen asleep from exhaustion he refused to leave your side

when the doctor handed the baby to him he was overjoyed and couldn’t stop himself from smiling, tears of happiness rolling down his slightly red cheeks as he ever so gently caressed the blanket in which the staff had wrapped the little one in

“I’ll be a good father to you…I promise” he whispered as he watched the backs of the people in hospital gowns carry the small human to the baby station

contrary to his worries, your husband was a great father

nice, knowledgeable but also strict when needed

him being perfect in anything he tries and offering your child the advice which matched that of a professional, was of great help and motivation to your descendant and made some of their classmates either swoon or bite their lip in jealousy

but at times even the red-haired man couldn’t see eye-to-eye with his own child and that’s when you came in

since you were rather imperfect in comparison to your beloved, the problems of your kid were more easily approachable for you than for your husband, so while you discussed it all out Akashi was just outside the room, listening to how you resolve the situation, hoping he could do it the same way the next time

in total your family life would be perfectly described by the saying One for All - All for One because only through your mutual understanding and support was your joint future - and that of your child - as bright and filled with love

A/N: Hi there you two! Since your requests were for the same trope and the more or less same scenario, I decided to mash these two together, hope that’s ok with you guys! ( ´ ▽ ` )

Luckily, I grew up around some people that fit in that description, nevertheless this was a pretty new experience for me, so I hope I managed to deal with this successfully (I’m sorry in case that I didn’t ;-;)! Anyways, please enjoy and heed the warnings! ヽ(´ー｀)❤️

Rakuzan is known as an elite school, harboring only the crème-de-la-crème of students and yet you still couldn’t comprehend why you were a part of it

everyone was driven by either perfectionism or greed, the teachers only cared for themselves and their salary, and the expectations society put on every student that wore this school’s logo were downright inhuman

so could someone really blame or shun you for being into drugs? —No, they couldn’t...and yet some still tried

every time you skipped a class to go on either the rooftop or that one dark alley in the very back of the luxurious building to roll a joint, someone random would always come looking for you

they’d try to push their ideals onto you and pretend that they are some kind of Samaritan who only wants the best for you and your future

Yeah sure...you don’t even know my name, do you?

the first few times really annoyed the hell out of you and their hypocrisy almost made you lose yourself once, but as these scenarios started repeating themselves you grew used to it and learned how to completely ignore them

depending on your mood and the amount of dopamine you’re releasing there were even times when you’d get sassy with them or downright challenge them to a fight, knowing fully well that as the goody-two-shoes they were they’d never accept it

the teachers were also aware of your addiction, but were too scared for their own reputation and decided that it’d be easier if they just left you to your own devices and wait until you either failed their classes or graduated

and just like that, you lead a rather peaceful school life, until a certain someone decided to disturb it...

when you skipped classes for the umpteeth time you waited patiently for today’s candidate who’d drag you over the coals for your ‘unsightly behavior’

after you’d taken the third pull on your joint you finally heard light steps which were just around the corner

without moving your head too much, you simply glanced towards the figure that had appeared and chuckled to yourself

“Woow, the teachers must be quite desperate to send their star pupil in order to get me” you sneered after blowing some of the smoke right into his direction

the red-haired young man who’d arrived was none other than Akashi Seijirou, a student whose school record was full of nothing but perfect grades and perfect remarks from everyone who had entered this school

you didn’t know much about him except the typical gossips and the fact that he was the complete opposite of yourself

for a while none of you said anything so you continued to smoke shamelessly in front of him, hoping that you could provoke some kind of reaction from him...though in vain

if words weren’t provocative enough you decided to see how far he’d allow you to go until he had to open his mouth

“You want a pull?”

much to your surprise he actually extended his hand towards you, so with wide eyes you carefully handed him your joint

he eyed it for a while and the next thing you saw was how he let it drop and stomped on it

“Was that really necessary? You could’ve just refused it, you know?”

“I want you to join the basketball team as a manager” he then said in a calm and pretty serious tone

you began laughing as if he had said some kind of hilarious joke, but much to your disappointment he simply raised his eyebrow

“W-Wait...are you being serious right now? You want me to take care of the basketball team?”

seeing him simply nod with the same stoic expression he’d arrived with made you realize that he wasn’t one to joke around

Akashi took out a handkerchief and wiped his hand, without bothering to hide his disgust and then simply turned his back to you

“I’ll be waiting for you at the gym after school and I hope you’ll be there...for your sake.”

and with that threat, he left you by yourself, confused and utterly speechless

you soon began giggling to yourself and you wanted to blame it on the drugs but deep down you knew the truth ...

as the school bell rang for the last time today you lazily packed your stuff and without paying any attention to neither your teacher nor your classmates you trotted out of the classroom

you hated admitting it but the red-haired young man’s words had haunted you for the entire day, but you weren’t one to simply obey whatever others told you

just as you were about to walk down the stairs someone muscular bumped into you, almost knocking you off your feet

as you looked up to see who it was you saw a dark-skinned and bulky man towering above you with a grim look on his face

“(Y/N)?”

you hesitated to answer for a moment, but his challenging expression downright forced you to respond, though it was merely with a small nod

“Excellent, follow me” he ordered after turning around and you did

while he was walking in front, you noticed that most of the students were intimidated or scared by his towering frame and now that you were behind him you realized how truly lonely he must be

“We’re here,” he began, “Akashi! I brought her!”

at the mention of that name you immediately wanted to just turn around and leave, but with that broad man next to you any type of escape was shut down

a pair of heterochromatic eyes looked in your direction and a proud smile adorned the rather emotionless expression of the red-haired young man who signalized the other club’s members to take a short break while he strolled towards the two of you

“(Y/N), I’m glad to see that you picked the right choice to come here. Now...follow me.”

you simply glanced up at the broader man next to you with a pleading expression, but he simply grinned and gave you a thumbs up

Akashi led you to a bench where an older man had already taken a seat, reading through some papers

he was so into it that he didn’t even bother to look up at you two

“Alright your task is simple, I want you to learn the basic rules of basketball and everything else that surrounds it. You have a week and then I’d like to test your knowledge during a practice match. There are also several other things I want you to fulfill, but this will be enough for now” he took a short breath and looked at his team players with a slightly annoyed gaze before he continued “I also provided you with one of those ‘how to’ books so I hope you won’t need long. Any further questions?”

Where do I even start?

“Listen up, I never said that I was going to be your team’s manager or anything like that, you literally forced me to come here by sending that giant after me! And you can’t be serious with all of this right? You guys are a pro team and you want me - a mere amateur - to manage you? Starting next week? I don’t even th-“

“I don’t remember giving you a choice in this matter and yes, you’ll learn it all until next week. You being a student at this elite school speaks for itself, so learning the basic rules of a mere sports game isn’t going to cost you much. Now sit down and start reading.”

his condescending and overall rude tone made you more than just mad, but before you could utter any kind of comment, he had already turned his back to you and was heading for the court

“If I were you, I’d just agree with whatever he says” commented the older man whose gaze was still on the papers before him

you clicked your tongue and put both of your hands on your hips as you stared at him and asked whether that was how he usually dealt with him

“That’s how I learned to deal with him. A genius like him is only getting held back by simple-minded people...or those,” he paused and finally looked up, eyeing you judgingly before he finished his sentence, “that can’t read the mood.”

you were absolutely speechless and enraged, so before you completely lost your wits you grabbed that stupid book Akashi had gotten for you and purposely stomped towards the gym’s entrance doors to roll yourself another joint

you spent the entire duration of their training outside and even though you didn’t intend to really read the booklet, you eventually started and got into it, until you heard a loud whistle and Akashi’s voice announcing the end of today’s practice

“I’m expecting you at tomorrow’s practice as well, (Y/N)” said the red-haired captain as soon as you re-entered the gym to take your bag and go home

you answered with a simple nod and left, figuring that you’d just go along with him for a while but secretly do whatever you wanted

or at least that was supposed to be your plan, but something quite unexpected happened

while you had set your mind to obey whatever the captain wanted from you, you caught yourself actually having fun during the guys’ practice

you did know a little about basketball even without the book’s help, but as you gradually read chapter after chapter and actually witnessed the real thing before you every single day, you came to truly enjoy it

there were always some rumors that Rakuzan’s basketball team was on an entirely different level and you finally saw why

the four players that always accompanied Akashi on the court were some kind of prodigies the others referred to as the “Uncrowned Kings” or the new and improved version of “The phantom sixth man”

during your first days of hearing those rather over the top nicknames, you couldn’t help but laugh out loud

These four having such titles? Don’t mess with me, that’s just hilarious!

and even if you were the only one laughing at it while the others simply looked away, your laughs were shut down pretty quickly as soon as you saw how they played

seeing just how powerful and overall perfect they seemed to be made you even more pissed off than you already were

luckily you were standing right next to the gym’s door so you cracked it open, leaned yourself on its frame, and began smoking one of your self-rolled joints

“Wow (Y/N), I didn’t know you smoked! You look really cool!”

the sudden compliment from the cheerful blond with the sharp canine caught you off guard, not to mention that he was the first one besides Akashi to even attempt some sort of conversation...and it made you unexpectedly happy

“Thanks, I guess?...would you like to have a pull?”

you couldn’t help but smirk at how his eyes lit up after nodding multiple times and just as he was about to take the softly smoking joint from your hand, someone snatched it and threw it out, closing the door in the process

that someone was Reo, whose eyes looked down on you with a rather hurt and sad expression

out of nowhere, he took a gentle hold of your cheeks and softly tilted your head up so that you could look him directly into his mesmerizing eyes

“I’ve been meaning to tell you this, but smoking is bad for you (Y/N)-chan. You’re such a beautiful young lady and being a crackhead just doesn’t suit you, you know?”

thanks to the soft tone with which he’d complimented and lectured you, you just couldn’t be mad at him

but before you could even say anything you felt a big and strong hand slap your back with so much force that you almost fell right into Kotaro’s arms

“Geez, Nebuya you brute, how many times do I have to tell you to be more careful!”

completely ignoring the tall man’s protest the more muscular man simply laughed and took a tight hold of your upper arm saying: “All she needs are more muscles and meat on her and she’ll make a great opponent!”

the way the three of them had surrounded you while laughing at each other’s comments and even making you part of their discussion warmed your heart, and you caught yourself thinking that being the manager of this team might not be such a bad idea after all...

the day of the practice match came along and you were a bundle of nerves

who would’ve thought that you’d actually prefer going to the gym to check up on the players instead of straight-up heading back home

much to your surprise, it didn’t even take you three days to get almost every club member to respect you, sure there were obstacles along the way, but you managed to deal with them rather quickly

not too long ago, you had actually helped out Mayuzumi, who usually avoided you and barely ever talked to you

you had been on your way to your usual spot to light up a joint and just before you cut the corner you heard some loud voices

“Just ‘cause you’re in the basketball club, doesn’t make you special!”

“What’s with those dead-looking fish eyes of yours anyway?”

“C’mon guys, don’t you see that we’re wasting his precious reading time here? Let’s hurry up and scram so that he can continue reading his novel!”

you had no idea just what the hell was going on, but it sounded a lot like someone was getting bullied and you weren’t in the mood to let it slide

“Ok guys, I need you to wrap whatever this is up. I’m in a rather bad mood right now and I really need a smoke, so get going” you said in a rather dark tone

the students who had encircled someone you couldn’t quite identify yet jumped a little at your sudden intervention and turned their attention to you

all remarks they had prepared for you were gone the moment they realized just who was standing in front of them

nevertheless, the group remained stubborn and tried to chase you away by asking you to wait for a little

while you were dealing with the group, the person they had ganged up on stood up from the ground and that’s when you finally recognized who they were bullying

and at that moment something inside of you clicked

with confident steps, you made your way to the tall young man and placed a hand on his shoulder

“There you are and here I was thinking you’d bailed on me” you began as you gently squeezed his shoulder, giving him a signal to make him play along before you continued, “I got your stuff, you got the money?”

thanks to his constant poker face and slight nod the group of bullies was instantly on their guard

in order to give them their last push you pulled out a small and transparent bag with white powder out of your pocket

seconds later the group finally gave up and stormed off, murmuring something about it not being worth the trouble

as soon as they were gone you let out a loud sigh of relief and crouched down, exclaiming how relieved you were that it was finally over

your sudden reaction caught the young man off guard and at first, he was stomped at what to do but he eventually crouched down next to you

“If you were that scared you shouldn’t have helped me in such an...unorthodox way. They might snitch on you, you know?”

you couldn’t help but giggle at the rather clumsy way he tried to thank and reassure you

“It’s fine even if they do, the teachers wouldn’t be surprised anyway and besides...that bag contains nothing more but some makeup powder I got from Reo to...to hide the bags under my eyes.”

even though you whispered the last part Mayuzumi still heard it and then chuckled

since then he actually began listening to you and even talked to you whenever no one was around

the other three were fond of you since day one so you had no trouble dealing with them whatsoever, or protecting them for that matter

someone was making rude remarks about Nebuya while he ate his daily portion of meat (which equaled five of yours)?

you’d tap them on the shoulder, lean on them and say that they were lucky enough he didn’t hear them, or else he might actually devour them instead

hearing how people made fun of Reo’s way of talking and even shun him for his behavior behind his back?

you’d directly go up to them and intentionally talk in a loud voice for everyone to hear how cowardly they were and how their behavior would drag their beloved school’s reputation down if you decided on making it public

witnessing how naive and warm-hearted Kotaro got roped into some even shadier business than what you were up to with sugarcoated words?

you’d do something similar to how you saved Mayuzumi back then: threats and bluffs and luckily all of them worked out in your favor

the only one who needed more time to warm up to you was Akashi

it was obvious that he hadn’t approved of you despite your (in your eyes) good performance during the first practice match

he’d simply nodded in the end and coldly stated that he’d accept this rather poor performance, warning you that there would be consequences if you don’t improve yourself

back then the others had joined you on the bench and were trying to cheer you up by saying that the red-haired young man was usually that demanding, but only towards people he knew had the potential...in a way he was trying to bring forth your hidden talent

with these sweet words and your own ambition to prove yourself to the seemingly perfect emperor, you finally started taking the club more serious than you’d originally intended

said man turned towards you guys with a warm but twisted smile as he stretched his hand out towards you

“I swear to you, that if we lose this match, I will leave the club and...gouge both of my eyes out, and give them to you.”

after that proclamation each of the players gave it more than just their all, even you who could do nothing but cheer them on from the bench began analyzing everything you could from your team’s opponents

during that very emotional match, you found yourself praying multiple times that your team wins and not only because of Akashi’s oath but because you knew just how much they had trained for this

additionally, Kotaro and the others told you that this match was of utmost importance to the captain and his former teammates, all the more reason for you to worry

sadly in the end you guys lost and you were too overwhelmed with everything that had transpired in the last quarters

the entire Rakuzan team walked back to the locker room in complete silence and that silence remained until all of them had changed their clothes

“(Y/N)-chan, let’s go,” said Reo in a gentle and silent tone as he gently squeezed your shoulder

“Y-You guys can go on ahead, I still have to check something” you answered with an apologetic smile

you were thankful that the young man could read the mood and agreed, so you re-entered the locker room, looking around searching for something

no matter how hard you tried you just couldn’t muster the strength to stand up, and before you knew it, tears had started rolling down your cheeks without stopping

frustration, despair, anger, and sadness overcame you and at some point you caught your thoughts drifting off in a direction you had never taken before

with trembling hands, you took a small package full of some kind of powder out of your jacket and looked at it

you weren’t the type to resort to real hardcore drugs and as of late you had been so busy with the team that even your usual smoke breaks became less and less, but now...

just as you were about to open the small bag in your hands the door to the changing room slowly opened

the young man looked at you with a worried expression and as soon as he saw what you held in your hands he grew even sadder

without saying anything he simply walked towards you, kneeled down, and embraced you

you were quite shocked at first, but too emotionally tired to resist at this point so you simply let him comfort you

he told you that these overwhelming emotions you were going through right now were normal and absolutely understandable in this situation, and even without you saying how guilty you felt for the boys’ loss he calmed you down by stating that one person alone could not be at fault for an entire team’s failure

that day engraved itself in your brain and you promised yourself that you’d give it your all and even go further beyond it, just so you wouldn’t have to see the sad faces of the people who had given you a chance and loved you for who you are, including all of your “flaws”

unbeknownst to you, they had also found the same resolution as you

the day on which they had lost their match against Seirin made them realize that there was indeed something lacking in their way of playing basketball, and in order to improve that they had to start with a rather peculiar mission, namely to make you, their manager, proud and make sure that you never cried ever again...
