(I may or may not also want a reason to put Shiori in a dress.) Of course he had noticed. He always noticed, his sharp vision wasn’t just for crime fighting. She wondered if she actually admitted it if it would take him off guard. “Is there something wrong with that?” She asked him, a red tint still spread across her cheeks. Not giving it another moment, Shiori simply took her coat off revealing the red dress she had been given to wear to this event. She really wished she had said she didn’t want to go out tonight. “You know, there’s still time to sneak away.”

Little was there to say. The smirk on his lips spoke all he needed to say. Sharp eyes were quick to notice the dress Shiori chose to wear. A brow rose, smirk remain. ❝ Wrong? Why would there be anything wrong? ❞ smirk turned into a grin, eyes closed and turned upward into a smile. ❝ Didn't think you couldn't look more good than you already do. ❞ the hero teased. ❝ Maybe a bit too hot to handle for those here. ❞

She really hoped Hawks didn't just catch her staring at him. She knew they were headed somewhere fancy but she hadn't really expected him to wear a suit and tie. Shit! She was still staring, she tried to shake it off and hoped he hadn't noticed. She reached up, adjusting the tie for him, "It looks good on you. Though I think I prefer you in a more relaxed style to match that personality of yours." Yeah, he probably noticed her checking him out the moment he walked in the room. If he noticed, she was sure she wouldn't hear the end of it. (my excuse is Shiori just wanted to see the birbman in a suit and has no shame)

            ❛ Damn. No matter the number of times I’ve put a suit on in the past it still awkward as all hell. At least the design make it slightly more comfortable with my wings... Why can’t suits be wings compliant, seriously. ❜ Hawks thought as he resisted the urge to unbutton the shirt and take it off. Fuck suits. They were not bird friendly.

   ❛ Ties can go die in a ditch somewhere. Who even thought this was necessary? This is torture and no one want ot admit it. ❜ the thought of burning definitely crossed his mind a number of times already, but, unfortunately he needed to wear a suit today.

   Then Hawks felt someone staring and immediately saw it was Shiori and a grin spread across his lips. Was she trying to hide the fact she was staring earlier by adjusting his tie? He wasn’t going to let her go that easily.

   ❝ Like what you see~? ❞ Hawks questioned with a tease. ❝ You seemed quite taken earlier. ❞ he definitely wasn’t going to let this go.

(We're gonna pretend this was sent on his actual birthday XD). Walking up behind Hawks, Shiori reached up and placed a small gift on top of his head. She only gave him a playful smile. "It's you're birthday right. Sorry, it was kind of last minute... Um... If you want anything special for dinner, let me know."

         ❝ ??? ❞ there was the briefest look of confusion on Hawk’s face when he felt that something was placed on top of his head. It felt relatively small and seemed to settle in his hair just fine. Curious as he was about what the item was Hawks reached upward and picked it off his head.

   ❝ That today? It completely slipped my mind. ❞ Hawks admitted with a grin. ❝ Anything special for dinner you say? ❞ a brow rose with an amused grin adorning his lips. ❝ You sure you want to be offering me such a gift~? ❞ eyes twinkled with a hint of mischeif.

"Keigo?" Josie starts, knocking on his door. in her arms were some leftovers and a present or two. "I have some things for you.. if you'd like to let me in?"

I was just thinking about calling you. ❞ Keigo mused while also being amused by Josie being here as he was thinking about her. ❝ What you got there? ❞ Keigo inquired feeling that what she had was possibly leftover and what appeared to be a present. Did Christmas just happen or....?

Shiori puts a red knit scarf around Hawks neck loosely with a smile. “Merry Christmas, handsome.”

            ❝ Is it that time of the year again? ❞ Hawks questioned after Shiori loosely put a red knitted scarf around his neck. ❝ Damn. ❞ he swore, he should have paid better attention to the days that have past otherwise he would have at least prepared some kind of gift for Shiori. Then an idea struck him.

   ❝ Hold on~ ❞ without warning, Hawks scooped Shiori up into his arms and shot up into the air. ❝ A Merry Christmas to you. This is the best I can do on very short notice. ❞ he said as night had fallen the city below looked like a dazzling array of stars against a dark back drop.

"Keigo?" She asks, turning around to smile at the male. she had his lunchbox in her hands. 'just finished preparin' your lunch."

         ❝ What up chicka-dee? ❞ Keigo inquired as he looked up from a text he received from his agency. Strange they sent a text instead of out right calling him like they usually did. Not complaining though as it meant he didn’t have to listen to someone verbally nag him.

   The biggest and dopest grin appeared on the hero’s face seeing the lunch Josie had made for me. ❝ Just fell in love with you all over again~ ❞

"Kei~go~" Josie sings in a songy voice. she wanted attention

            Hawks couldn’t help but be amused hearing Joise call his attention by singing his name. ❝ What does the little kitten want~? ❞ the hero inquired, voice filled with nothing but amusement. ❝ If I didn’t know any better I’d say someone want attention? ❞ he guessed even though he was already had tossed Joise up into the air and caught her. When he did he even move to accomplish that was anyone’s guess.s
