i think it's so funny but also kind of wholesome how canonically, idia isn't interested in romantic relationships (least according to his groom voicelines), and yet there are all these ships with him 😂my idia in the back: THIS ISN'T WHAT I WANTEDDDDDDD. the way i see it, cuz my idia is VERY demi, he is absolutely not interested in the concept of romance. one reason is because 'lol, who the fuck would wanna date ME' and another basically being...well...the baggage he has on his back. that is, until he meets that special person (or the "true route", as he'd call it) whom he truly connected with and feels all these sparks. when that happens, he basically goes FULL SIMP mode. it's adorable and i love it.

at least there were common grounds the two could agree on - their options were bleak, at best. come on, who in their right, logical mind would've predicted something like this happening?! for all idia knew, this could all be some sort of ploy to get back at him after causing trouble at styx ...! if that were the case, he'd never pull the plug ever again. besides that, you'd have to consider one teesny problem ... their opponent was malleus freaking draconia! his stats were over the roof! only a total noob would be hot blooded enough to go after the final boss like a headless chicken.

well... a noob or the two only present students who hadn't been affected by the "blessing" ( what kinda blessing was "sleep ", anyway? kind of an overrated trope, if you asked him, lol. ). realistically speaking, idia would've run for it without looking back. this was different, however - ortho's life was at the line. who knew OP magic could even cause a shutdown? either way, this was enough for the scared little boy to even stand here. maybe ... just maybe ... he could be the hero IRL. from zero to hero ... wouldn't that be an exciting adventure? could this give him even the tiniest solace?

nervously biting his lip at leona's sentence, idia's topaz hues averted to the side. even if he's forced to work alongside an ever so arrogant leader of savanaclaw, socializing just couldn't come as easily. ❛ th-that's an, um... o-optimistic way of saying we're gonna get wrecked, fuehehe... n-not in character for leona-shii ... ❜ the leader of ignihyde sighs out before subconsciously chewing on his nail. ❛ or we could, y'know... w-wait for everyone to wake up or something? what can we do, honestly, besides lose lives without a respawn which, btw, m-malleus-shii totally has over 1000 lives and can definitely respawn with a click of fingers like a final boss in roleplaying campaign, the fates have truly cursed us this timeeee...!!! ❜ had he realized the mad ramblings? absolutely not.

here was idia, forcibly outside just for a class which just finished, scurrying along to his room to recharge ( as well as finish up daily quests with crimson muscle which has already been set after school finished for the day ), but was suddenly in this situation - one which he dreaded more than anything. he helplessly shrieks upon sudden contact, yellow eyes widened in horror when noticing it's that stray normie, again, trying to find ways to breach any sense of personal space. couldn't she just leave him alone, already?! can't she see that this very interaction, no, her presence shot his nerves up and froze him in an immobile state?! this was about on the same level as those leech twins - the level was the same, too! - and the fiery haired couldn't keep up. no, instead, he'd shiver and press his hands to chest as if providing any sort of protection against this...this monstrosity!

she'd even go as far as to touch his hair, not even wondering if it'd burn her fingers! nononono, you had to be friendship level 50+ in order to do such a feat, and no sane person would dare trying to get close to some lousy neet! idia shrinks even further, the shivering only worsening whilst desperately avoiding her gaze. m...matchstick? could really use work on usernames, he thinks to himself but all came out lips were mumbles. ❛ n-n-no, i-i-i...um... ❜ where's the tablet, where's the tablet, where's the tablet. ❛ i-i-i don't...um... ❜ dammit, his palms were too sweaty, he can't even grasp onto said item in question! why did extroverts have to be such a pain, all the time?!

was this really alright? couldn't the punishment be even worse than it already was? honestly speaking, being banned from styx for an inconclusive amount of time via his parents was a mere slap on the wrist - hell, it's a blessing in his eyes - than being able to return to school and be forgiven for what he's done. sure, idia supposed the previous victims could've gone through a similar thought process, but this was entirely different ... he and ortho tried ending the world, for seven's sake, and despite it, everyone was adamant on having him continue schooling? he didn't understand this kindness ( well, could he even call it as such, honestly ) and he never will ... not that it mattered much, either. what was meant to be something good ended up almost killing everyone else... ortho, the most.

idia could still remember those moments midst the light, seeing his dear brother and hearing him speak ... they laid heavily on the older's mind, holding a tight grip without intending on letting go - a concept idia heavily struggled with. it wasn't easy ... but, he knew he had to, even if just to try fulfilling ortho's wish. choice was a possibility, even for those chained by their fate...as ridiculous as it seemed, perhaps held some sort of regard. that's why, when the now conscious ortho moved to hug his elder brother, idia didn't flinch. instead, without saying a word, he moves to hold the little robot closer, in a tight grip. no...no, what is he even thinking?! this wasn't a robot nor just an "emotional support" - this is ortho, his identity and who he is....his dear, younger brother, whom he'd give everything to. things had to get better...if anything, just to see if there'd really be a possibility for the sequel of star rogue.

... who just so happened to catch him off guard with the simplest kiss on his cheek. this seemed to be enough to inflame pink colors in fiery locks, pale cheeks flushing similarly as he gave the blonde girl a side eye. why would a sunshine trope ever go for some weirdo who almost tried ending the world AND tried pulling off a villain move on her, is anybody's guess ... but, damn, did he refuse to exchange that with anything. this was enough for idia's wide grin to soften as he exhales, followed by a quiet chuckle. ❛ fuehe...are you trying to distract me, romelle~? ❜ he'd ask jokingly before turning his focus back to the screen. ❛ won't work this time....!!! i got better at handling surprise cheek kisses, y'know! hm... thx for the boost, though~. ❜ life was never kind to him...and yet, somehow, she became his life. even if he'd never be worthy of her kindness, who's to say he'd allow anyone else to have it?
