Remembered today that out of the many fatherly OCs which MacK the Great & I have constructed, there is only one that has withstood all measures of "decent dad" and that is Lewdy. Sometimes a happy family is a single widower and his trans daughters with multiple neuroses.

hey guys it’s aimee (mallory easton) again and this time i bring one of my all time favorite faces, love of my life, john krasinski.
Okay, so Ethan was actually born in Philadelphia but moved to McLean, Virginia when he was about three years old when his father was hired as the head orthopedic surgeon of the Washington Capitals.
His mother was a stay-at-home mom, super overprotective of her kids. If you've seen The Goldbergs, exactly like Beverly Goldberg. She literally would kill for her kids.
He's the middle child, and he could only wish he had been ignored by his mother but nope, she loves all her kids equally to a point she is the definition of a smother.
As a child, Ethan practiced football and hockey but oh surprise, my baby's height only made him more clumsy and well, he found solace in books and films. His father was at first disappointed because he had sworn Ethan one day would play for the Eagles, but he has come to terms that his son is not the athletic kind and still loves him lol
He grew up sort of wealthy, not to the level of most families at McLean but they lived a comfortable life, although his father also was very cheap, so that helped the family's 'wealth'.
He hated growing up there, surrounded by spoiled children but since he was a child he became friends of Clarissa Evans and they have been very close ever since. Part of the package deal, he also had to befriend Addison Astoria, against his will because they do not get along but somehow they have learned to be in the same place without killing each other.
When he turned eighteen, Ethan moved to England to attend Oxford where he majored in English and shortly after he graduated he received a deal to publish his first novel.
His first book made the New York Times best-seller list in its first week of release and with that proposals to adapt it to the stage and screen came. Not wanting to have another person adapt it, Ethan moved to New York where he began a graduate degree in screenwriting, presenting the script of his own book as his final project.
At just twenty-six, Ethan was living what he still considers the highlight of his life. The film adaptation was a commercial hit that received rave reviews and even earned him an Academy Award.
In another Hollywood cliché, he began dating the actress that had starred in his film. The relationship received a lot of attention which was overwhelming for Ethan, but at this point, he was madly in love with her. After just six months, he proposed and by the end of the year, the couple had tied the knot.
Unfortunately, what goes up must eventually come back down. He had rushed in every aspect of his life. He peaked as a writer way too soon and did the same with his marriage. Problems in his personal life began two years after he got married. He never got fully used to be with a movie star and everything that entailed being with her. Also, he seemed to be in a permanent state of writer’s block. Writing a script that failed miserably and also losing a publishing contract for not being able to finish in time for the deadline. Just as his professional life seemed to go nowhere, his marriage ended when the rumors of his wife hooking up with co-star turned out to be true.
Heartbroken and feeling like a failure, Ethan started to seek shelter in the bottle. Spending most of his days drunk or with a hangover. He returned to New York where he began studying again and worked on several projects, but none of them ever became a reality. His drinking problem soon took its toll as he lost his job and was forced to move back to his hometown.
Not being able to handle living with her overbearing mother and back at McLean, he decided to start over and moved to Crownsville (where he knew Clarissa lived). He got a job as an English teacher in the local high school.
