#'ah you know it's quantity over quality but there are some things that... aren't bad.....'#USING ADVERBS IS NOT A CARDINAL SIN DOOFUS IT'S HOW YOU USE THEM!!! conversational dialogue such as that in isat only benefits from using#more casual less eloquent language. sure you could change the characters' dialogue to be more concise and articulate#but what would you lose by changing that syntax? how could that affect how the audience perceived a character and how the audience itself#feels?#to be quite honest. if ISAT's dialogue was trimmed down to just include the main story beats#it would never have resonated with me as much.#the value of the characters and their relationships is inherent to the game!!! you can't make them shut up!!! that inherently contradicts#what it's doing to you!!!!!!#it's not a game about beating bosses or about defeating the king and winning the meat of it was ALWAYS the characters ALWAYS the dialogue#that's the POINT that's the POINT i'm KILLING YOU
