i feel like being a bit of a hypocrite is inherent to choosing a side in a love triangle and i don't mind idc i will always be a hypocrite
#because literally no side is ever PERFECT because that'd be. boring.#but like#'bylers are hypocrites they say mlvn is codependent but will said he needs mike so' shut up#first he was literally responding to mike saying he was worried el didn't need him anymore it's literally mike's words he's saying that to#make him feel better? he wasnt gonna say oh maybe she doesn't need you but she likes you a lot :) that would've been a completely different#scene and too normal for them and the circumstances they're in <3#second#i feel like we've had the i love/want you because i need you vs i need you bc i love/want you discussion too many times for people to still#bring this up in february#when katniss tells peeta she needs him in catching fire do you think that means she's emotionally codependent or whatever...no...it doesn't#mean she needs him to do anything for her either in theory she could live without him and be fine but she. wants him. and loves him#and doesn't want him to die etc so when he says no one needs him she says she does!#idk#this isn't me being a hypocrite but i'm saying that even if that made me a hypocrite i would be fine with it. as i've said before#tbf i don't like it when people say mike wants to be needed and will needs mike either#but i don't like it because that's not how i've ever seen it#that still doesn't make them anything like mlvn so...i'm still saying shut up#and like i say: brf slt
