honestly most of the complaints about there being a boy cure are about how the fandom will react to it and may i just remind you that precure is made for kids so this is for those little boys that also enjoy watching precure :)

#precure #pretty cure #now if mr toei does a shitty job writing him thats a completely different story #but you do not have to agree or engage with how other fans choose to interpret any of the characters #'im worried he'll be more popular solely bc hes a boy'#like????#this is precure a female dominated series #that has had male characters with significant roles several times before and they have never overshadowed the girls #and honestly black pepper is kind of a shiny luminous/milky rose situation where hes essentially a precure in all but name #like idk i just think thats kind of dumb :/
