Damn it’s like 2015 tumblr when my inbox used to be WET. So if you’re talking about the controversial opinions post, YES, like I totally understand where people are coming from when they say that generational divides aren’t real (because they aren’t, they’re arbitrary) and distract us from real problems and yes they paint past generations as collectively bigoted when Civil Rights protestors in the 60s (who are in their 70s and 80s now) are mirrors to BLM protestors today, who could be of any age, but the most vocal and famous (at least online, especially irt to the founders, like Patrisse Cullors who is 37.

But how we communicate is sooooo different. I really point to the Internet and Social Media as a major influence in how younger millennials (more Tom Hollands and less Seth Rogans—see even there, I feel like there are two different types of Millennials) and Gen Zrs/Zoomers and even Generation Alpha behave and communicate. We live in a world where we grew up either knowing right out the gate or discovering the hard way that what we say and do has permanence, the kind of permanence that prior generations have never experienced until today. The dumb things kids have been saying since forever can now follow them... forever. We have an inherent understanding of how online spaces work. Compare that to, idk, let’s say you posted on your Facebook (for the first time in 18 months) “All these big and bad grown ass Senators going after actual child Greta Gerwig lol ok, you’re so brave for attacking a CHILD over climate change” and then your aunt, who’s turning “forty-fifteen” in May replies to your post with “So happy to see my passionate niece! Much love from us, hope you’re doing well. Paul is doing great, waiting on his screening results. Tell your mom I said we miss her, we need to get together, we forgive her for last Christmas.”

Like... ok there’s a lot going on there, but your hypothetical aunt is oversharing on a publicly accessible post. And even with the most strict of privacy settings, she’s oversharing where your other Facebook friends (which may include classmates, coworkers, etc.) can see. But she’s saying things that would only be appropriate in a 1-on-1 conversation. This Aunt doesn’t have an understanding of such boundaries, she’s not as technologically literate and hasn’t grown up in a world of Virtual Space, she still gets most of her news from TV, she trusts what a reporter on Channel 4 will read off a script more than what actual video footage of an incident might reveal on Twitter, and she has no clue that she’s been sharing her location data with every post she makes.

There’s such a huge difference. I think it even affects how we experience and express stress and frustration. I think growing up partially in online spaces has made me more accustomed to conflict and consequence-free arguing than someone who never had to worry about that. I’ve been exposed so much to harassment and bullying, triangulating and echo chambers in forums and threads, and vastly opposing point of views at such an early age that it’s had an effect on how I see the world. Compare this to a customer I helped two weeks ago who was looking for a specific type of supplement for children. I found it for her, I handed her exactly what she was looking for, even though her description of the product actually matched several different products; to make sure I’d done my job thoroughly and that she leaves happy and satisfied and doesn’t bother me again, I then show her more products that match her description so that she knows she has options. And she proceeds to freak out, saying “NO, NO, I’M LOOKING FOR [X] AND IT HAS TO BE [XYZ]” and when I say freak out, she looked stressed and PANICKED. And being a retail employee wears you down bit by bit, and add COVID on top of it and little shit like this makes you snap, sometimes. So I have to cut her off like “Why are you screaming and freaking out, jfc you’re holding what you said you wanted. It’s in your hands. I gave you what you wanted, I’m just showing you more things.”

That customer is not an exception, she’s not a unique case. She’s representative of a frightening percentage of her generation, the kids who watched Grease and The Breakfast Club and Ghost in theaters when they were originally released. This is how they communicate and process information. She could not, for some reason, register that her need had been fulfilled, and defaulted to an extreme emotional response when given new and different information.

I’ve yet to deal with someone younger than 35 act the same way, the exceptions being the kids of very wealthy people at my new job who reek of privilege I gag when they walk in—but even they are like *shrugs* “ok whatever” and understanding when there’s something I can’t do for them.

Me: “sorry, we are totally out of that one in your size, but I can order it for you, it’s 2-3 day shipping at no cost to you and we ship it straight to your house”

A rich, white, attractive 22-year-old who’s had access to organic food, a rigorous dermatologist, and financial security since she was born: “mmm... sure, I’ll order it”

A 47-year-old of any socioeconomic background, of any race, in the same situation: “AHHHHHHHHHHH”

I just think it’s crazy how three generations of kids and young adults raised in a world where everything moves so much faster, where knowledge and entertainment and communication can be gathered so much faster, are often so much more polite and patient and understanding. Yesterday I told an older man (mid-50s) whose native tongue is the same as mine, as clearly and succinct as possible, that what he’s looking for is “in aisle 4.” He proceeded to repeat back, “Aisle 7?” four time before I dropped everything to show him what he needed in aisle 4, despite his insistence that he didn’t need me to walk him there. 4 and 7 sound nothing alike in English. There’s just something going on up there �� that’s different.

Oh, other generational divides!!! We have different approaches to labor and working. Totally different! I’m a “young” millennial where I’m almost Gen Z, and I’ve noticed an awful trend among my demographic where people actually brag about working 90 hour work weeks. Or brag about how they skip breaks and live on-call to get the job done for “the hustle” like this “hustle, become a millionaire by 30″ culture that’s dominated these kids, idk where tf that came from. Like why are you proud of being a wage slave, getting taken advantage of by your millionaire/billionaire overlords. Compare this to my mother’s generation (she’s a borderline Genius X’er, she and her best friend were a year too young to watch Grease when it came out and had a random older woman buy tickets for her; she went to Prince concerts, took photos of him, then sold the photos on buttons at school, that’s her culture and teenage experience), where she’s insistent on her rights and entitlements as an employee, and these things she instilled me: “whatchu mean they didn’t schedule a break for you and you’re working 12 hrs today? oh no, you’re off, don’t answer your phone cuz you are NOT available!” There are Gen X’ers who entered the workforce at a time that America was drifting toward this corporate world, with more strictly defined regulations, roles, and understandings of labor rights (and also, let’s talk about how the 80s there was so much more attention on workplace harassment, misogyny and gender divides in wage gaps, etc. etc... not that much has changed, but at least it was talked about!). There are young people today who are taken advantage of because they aren’t as informed or don’t feel as secure and valuable enough to claim what belongs to them.

At the same time, those generations (Gen X and older) have a different viewpoint of hierarchies in the workplace and respect irt our direct supervisors. That’s how you get this blurring of boundaries between Work Life and one’s Personal Life that leads to common tropes in media written by their generations, where oh no! I’m having my boss over for dinner and the roast beef is still defrosting :O is such a “relatable thing” for them... meanwhile us younger generations are like I don’t even like that you know where I live, and if I see your 2017 Honda Civic pass my place one day, we’re going to have a problem. I think older generations have a different relationship with the word “Respect” than we do. Like, my grandma, who’s turning 87 (?) this year, and the other seniors in my area, they have a different concept of honor and an expectation of professional boundaries that I, and my mom and her generation, just don’t see (so then there’s something in common with Gen X’ers and the rest of us.) My dad grew up in a world where talking and acting like George Bailey and knocking on someone’s door with a big smile could get you a job, a job that could pay for college and rent no problem. My mom grew up in a world that demanded more prestige, where cover letters and references could get you into some cushy jobs if you’re persistent and ballsy enough. And I grew up in a world where potential employers literally don’t see your face when you apply unless they lurk on any social media profiles you have publicly available and they hold all the cards, and you need all those CVs and reference letters just to make minimum wage... so I feel like I am powerless in the face of such employers.

chapter two: this holy shrine

i was gonna say something but im in like a really really bad mood right now so i hope you enjoy the chapter

Marinette hesitates for longer than usual at her apartment door. There’s no way her neighbor will be out and about at this time today, she’s never run into him before yesterday. Maybe he just had an errand to run or something. She shouldn’t be nervous about the slim chance of seeing someone she’s exchanged not even half a conversation with.

At least, that’s what she keeps telling herself.

The reality of the situation is that she fell asleep on the couch in the middle of designing an evening dress and had dreamt about his eyes. His eyes! God it’s like she’s a teenager again.

Just as she’d predicted, she doesn’t run into her neighbor. She’s strangely disappointed. Not that she had been looking forward to see him, she just—

Okay. Yes, she’d been looking forward to at least catching another glimpse of him. She kind of wants to hear his voice again, maybe hear him laugh?

For some reason, she thinks it would sound like springtime—

Marinette shakes away those wistful thoughts as she exits the building and makes her way to work. She focuses on the evening gown she started designing the day before and makes a point not to use any green. But she can’t help but think that it would look really nice with green accessories.

Why is she like this?

If any of her coworkers notice that she’s a little off, no one says anything. They probably don’t, they’re all drowning in anxiety as they rush to finish this line, but Marinette can’t help but worry a little whenever she catches herself staring off into the distance thinking about his smile.

Eventually, she gives in and pulls out her phone, texting Alya quickly. She should’ve told Alya yesterday at lunch. It probably would’ve turned out better.

Marinette puts her phone down and focuses on her job for a few minutes. Alya will still be there when this hem is done. She’s surprised to find herself in the zone and is even to ignore a few vibrations from her phone as she stitches. But it’s not meant to last, because as soon as she finishes the hem, she’s reaching to reply.

Marinette puts her phone away. She can last until tonight. Right?

By the time her lunch break comes around, Marinette has been productive enough that she could’ve stayed home and the results would’ve been the same. She shouldn’t be letting something so trivial get in the way of her actual paying job, but apparently she has no control over her own thoughts.

Marinette seriously debates taking the rest of the day off (because that’s really what she’s come to) but acknowledges that, no, that’s a bad idea. She’s an adult with deadlines and will get over it and be productive for the rest of the day.

She does go home for lunch, though. She has leftover takeout in her fridge and an episode of a random TV show to finish. She had stopped paying attention at some point to focus on her designs, but she had been weirdly invested in the over dramatic characters and cliche plotline.

Marinette is digging through her bag looking for her keys when she hears the door next to her unlocking. She freezes, eyes wide, as the door swings open.

Her neighbor hums to himself as he closes and locks the door behind him. He doesn’t even notice she’s there until he turns around and they make eye contact and Marinette goes redder than last winter’s avant garde piece.

“H-hi,” she stutters, clutching her keys tightly in her hand. She can feel the ridges of the key biting into her palm.

He blinks a few times before turning pink. “Oh my god,” he whispers, “you’re the one I completely knocked over and then ran away from yesterday.”

Marinette laughs awkwardly. “Yeah, that was… That was me.”

He rubs the back of his neck. “I-I am so sorry. I really, I just— I had to go grab Plagg before he vanished on me and I wasn’t thinking and then when I got back you were gone and—”

“It’s fine!” Marinette interrupts. At least she’s not the only mess in this hallway. “Plagg?”

“My cat,” he answers.

She raises an eyebrow. “The…sparkly one?”

“Um…” He sighs. “Okay, so I might’ve used a bath bomb and I might’ve forgotten to rinse out the bathtub and Plagg might have gotten into it and might’ve rolled around in the glitter.” He looks away. “So my black cat might’ve been gold.”

Marinette covers her mouth with her hand to stifle a laugh.

“He’s fine!” her neighbor insists. “He got a bath and is hopefully completely glitter free now and also that glitter is made of seaweed so… He’s fine. Sorry for knocking you over.”

“No harm done,” Marinette promises.

His eyes go wide. “I just realized, I’ve been rambling on about my cat and you don’t even know my name.” He holds his hand out to her. “I’m Adrien. I’ve lived in the building for a few months I just…never got around to introducing myself to anyone.”

Marinette smiles and shakes his hand. At least she can tell Alya they don’t have to call him Chat Noir. “Marinette. It’s nice to meet you. And your cat.”

“Nice to meet you too.” Adrien lets go of her hand and she mourns the loss of contact. Pathetic. “I have to run to the store, but maybe I’ll see you around later?”

Marinette nods. “Y-yeah, definitely.”

He shoots her a dazzling smile that melts her heart. “See you then.”

She stares at him until he disappears into the stairwell and continues to stare until the echoes of his footsteps fade. The she opens her apartment door and nearly collapses inside.

She’s going to be lucky if she makes it back to work in time.

“Alright,” Alya says, pouring herself a glass of wine. “I’ve filled Nino in on the little situation and we are ready to yell about our tall, blond, and handsome Chat Noir.”

“You better be pouring me some of that,” Nino says from offscreen.

Marinette resizes her Skype window as Alya scoots over so Nino can sit next to her. Alya hands Nino the wineglass. “Here you go, babe.”

Nino takes it. “Are you not going to need another glass?”

Alya picks up the bottle. “Nothing wrong with drinking straight from the bottle.”

Nino shakes his head. “Anyway, tell us everything, Mari. I want to know it all.”

Marinette pulls her legs up onto the couch and crosses them. “Well…there was actually a development.”

Alya and Nino exchange a look.

“Tell me everything,” Alya says.

“Right, so remember when my neighbor moved out a few months ago?” Marinette asks.

They both nod.

Nino shudders. “Thank god too, I hated that dude. He was a massive dick.”

“Okay, well, then that new neighbor moved in and I never had time to meet them?” They nod again. Marinette takes a deep breath. “I just met him.”

Nino groans and Alya buries her face in her hands.

“He’s your fucking neighbor?” Nino asks. “That’s just—”

“You could’ve been gawking him for months!” Alya interrupts throwing her arms out.

“I just—”

“Wait, how have you never run into him before?” Nino asks. “Does he never leave the house?”

Marinette shrugs. “We must have very different schedules.”

Alya sighs. “And this isn’t fanfiction. People don’t just knock on their neighbor’s door asking for a cup of sugar.”

“His name is Adrien and his smile is like the sun,” Marinette waxes, sinking back into the couch. “He likes bath bombs and has a black cat named Plagg and when he blushes he turns the most perfect shade of pink.” She tenses. “I mean—” She glances to her laptop to see Alya and Nino watching her with fond smiles and soft eyes. Marinette looks away, feeling her cheeks grow hot. “Shut up,” she mumbles.

“It’s cute,” Nino promises.

“It is,” Alya agrees. “We haven’t seen you like this in years, Mari. It’s adorable. You’re adorable.”

Nino hums in agreement. “Though it sucks that we can’t keep calling him Chat Noir. I like the nickname.”

Alya scoffs. “Who said I was going to stop calling him Chat Noir? But…” She pulls out her phone. “With a real name, I can stalk him on social media.”

“Please don’t,” Marinette begs.

“Please do,” Nino counters, leaning closer to Alya to see the screen of her phone.

“Nino!”

“Hey! I want to see if this dude is as hot as you say he is.”

Marinette raises an eyebrow. “I’m sorry, are you doubting my judgement?”

Nino shakes his head. “Never. But if he is that hot, I still want to see him.” “I know you have a girlfriend, but I’ve still got dibs.”

“I’d leave Alya if he were hot enough.”

Alya grabs a pillow and smacks Nino in the face with it without even looking away from her phone screen.

Nino laughs and shoves the pillow away. “I love you, Al, I swear.”

“Mhm.” Alya frowns at her phone. “Okay, Mari, just ‘Adrien’ isn’t enough for me to find him—”

“Shocking,” Marinette murmurs.

“Shush I’m doing you a favor. With any luck he’ll be tweeting about how drop dead gorgeous his neighbor is or something. But anyway, I need you to get me some details. A last name would be preferable. But even like a place of work or a school would work.”

“Creepy,” Nino says before taking a long drink of his wine.

“And yet you date me anyway,” Alya muses. She looks up and stares Marinette down. “Last name, Marinette. Got that?”

Marinette nods. She’s going to have to find some non creepy way to do this, isn’t she? “Got it.”

Marinette doesn’t wake up until ten in the morning, but she still wakes up exhausted. She stayed up far too late talking to Nino and Alya, Alya still trying to find some trace of Adrien on the internet as Nino and Marinette talked about anything and nothing at all. It’s been a few weeks since the three of them just talked like that, their lives are a hectic disaster, and Marinette’s missed it. They’ve been best friends for years and she definitely misses seeing them every single day at school.

She sings softly to herself as she wanders around the apartment, opening windows to let air in. It’s a surprisingly warm day for late fall, and she’s embracing every minute of warmth that she can.

Today’s a lazy day. She’s decided.

She’s meeting up with Nino and Alya later tonight for dinner and a movie at their apartment, but until then she can just lounge around in her pajamas and watch bad reality TV. Honestly, she’ll probably show up to their place in pajamas too. Not that they can judge, Marinette knows for a fact that Nino doesn’t change out of his sweats if he has a day off.

Marinette stops in her tracks when she reenters her bedroom. She blinks a few times, just to make sure she’s seeing right.

On her window sill naps a black cat, glittering slightly golden in the morning sun.

was just a goofy awkward kid before puberty, but when he hit puberty and got super handsome prince wonshik became a tabloid STAR and everyone started to invite him to parties etc because…..well…. he’s a hot prince

although he’s still pretty awkward in person, the image he portrays to the country via tabloids and his instagram is like….. chic sophisticated rebellious prince

not rebellious in terms of politics but in the way he lives his life and especially his fashion choices!!! the country was in uproar when they found out he had a tattoo

once he did a shirtless spread in the country’s top fashion magazine and it was a huge scandal but also it sold out within an hour and pretty much every teenager in the country has the cover pic up on their wall

and also he’s always being photographed in like……… bright purple adidas tracksuits and the snooty politicians go on shitty news channels like “and THIS is our NEXT KING?!?!?!??! *point at his gucci slides in disgust*”

but even though the tabloids make him out as a partier wonshik really really REALLY cares deeply about his country, he’s always been very involved in court politics because he wants to be a king that makes his citizens lives better

in particular he does a lot of trips to retirement homes and orphanages and among those groups he’s super adored because he’s actually a huge softy and he always listens to their requests and does his best to make them happen

people always forget this because of the shittalkers but he actually went to one of the top universities in his country and majored in economics+law so he could have a better understanding of the country’s finances and laws!!!!!!

basically is a big soft prince who loves his people but isn’t appreciated enough!!!!!!!!!!

not that he minds that much because as long as he’s helping his citizens and has his close friends he doesn’t care about what the annoying councilmen are saying about him

you’ve known wonshik your whole life but from afar, because your father is a court politician and you grew up in the same circles as the prince without ever being friends or anything

but your dad is also……...a bit sleazy…. and not a great guy……..

famously your dad and the royal family have always been political rivals, and your dad is a really big critic of the family because they have much more liberal views and your dad is just like “more money for the rich!!!! tax the poor!!!!!”

while you really don’t agree with your dad’s political views and don’t talk to him much anymore, he was a big influence on you as a kid and he was always like “prince wonshik? terrible guy. we don’t like him” and you still find yourself believing that

plus the news stories you see about him all the time are like “prince wonshik partying in the mediterranean!” “prince wonshik caught making out with model at friend’s birthday bash” etc and you can’t help but think there must be SOME truth behind those headlines

anyways you work for a non-profit organization because you want to distance yourself from your dad’s bad reputation and help the people he’s constantly screwing over, and wonshik actually collaborates with the organization a lot

you’ve never been in close proximity to the prince but whenever he’s around the office u sort of glare at him from afar…….. feeling like he’s just doing the charity work because he has to, not because he really cares, and growing up around politicians you HATE people who aren’t authentic

so while your coworkers gush about his good looks you’re thinking…….can his sharp jawline fix the poverty crisis in the capitol…….can his smolder feed the homeless……...i didn’t think so

it isn’t until you end up organizing an event that wonshik is the main guest/spokesman of that you actually interact, and as soon as you do you feel ,,,,,,,,,,, really bad because he’s super sweet and doesn’t treat you badly at all despite knowing your dad is a dick

he recognizes you and is like “y/n!!!! we grew up together!!!! i didn’t even realize that was you, you look so different…..nice different of course…..i mean you look great……” and starts stuttering and blushing and ur like….. was he always this cute and awkward oh my god

while you work together he totally destroys all the misconceptions you had about him because he clearly really cares about the charity event and raising money for the poor and is just super super sweet

you can’t help but develop a little bit of a crush on him because !!! he really is so handsome but more importantly, his personality isn’t something you find everyday and he keeps flirting shyly with you during your meetings and you wonder???? could there be something between you and the PRINCE????

but you keep your feelings to yourself because it could just be an act or something, until the night of the charity event (which is sort of like a fancy dinner/gala) and you’re dressed to the 9s

and then wonshik walks in…..in this tight fitting black suit and black slacks and smoky eyeliner and your mouth goes dry because you’ve never been up close to him in formal wear

and he looks DAMN good

slowly he walks up to you and kisses your hand and you’re standing there speechless because it��s like formal wonshik is a total different person….the person you always saw in tabloids and magazines

with a smirk he’s like “you look amazing” and then walks away like he didn’t just make your heart stop

at that moment ,,,,,,,,, both of you know you’re going home together after the event ,,,,,,,, and you make eyes at each other for the whole gala and by the time everyone is packing up you’re feeling VERY hot under the collar

you sneak off and make out in the empty coat room, and as wonshik presses hot kisses to your neck, his hand starts to sneak under your fancy clothes and u……….well things happen…...in that coat room…. but when you’re done and he smiles the blinding smile you are used to seeing from wonshik, you don’t regret it at all

and even though a part of you is half expecting him to ditch you, he wraps his arm around your waist and takes you to your house, where you invite him in and the two of you pass out together on your bed

in the morning wonshik sleepily kisses you w/ stinky breath and asks you out to dinner, and after the two of you go to the bathroom and brush your teeth he goes down on you in the kitchen

(to make the story clearer, for the last eight days and for the remainibg six me and my family -single parent- are staying in a block of furnished apartments for rental near the coast- we are visiting some relatives but not staying in their house). so, the appartement next to ours was empty, and a new family came in today. I'd just got out from the shower, when my mom comes in my bedroom and says 'I really do not undrestand' and murmuring to herself. so i, a by nature curious being that never expects the worst from people, ask her what's wrong. and then BOI did i have the biggest surprise-disappointment of my life. she says (smirking like fuck you honestly) 'Oh, it' s nothing. I just cannot understand whether that... thing from the people next door is a boy or a girl' REFERING TO THEIR FUCKING CHILD.

I went completely silent. I wanted to cry, laugh at her ridiculousness and at the same time i became increasingly angrier. like, u know, i felt a pressure building up from my stomach, going up to my lungs, taking over my throat and i wanted to yell at her. because, when i hear those things feom my grandpa, i dont mind it so much, since he's old and he'll be dead soon (i dont like to think about it but it's the truth and, no matter how ugly it sounds, it's a soothing thought when it comes to topics like this), and i discovered that my dad isn't quite fond of any kind of queerness himself long before I realised im pansexual and genderqueer. but my mum... although i should have expected it, to be honest, it hurt at the moment -a lot- and it still does thinking about it right now, a couple hours later.

So, after my extended silence, i think to myself 'NOW OR NEVER. U R QUEER UR PROUD AND U WON'T LET THIS BULLSHIT HAPPEN RIGHT IN FRONT OF UR SALAD' aaaand i answer her: 'uhh what do you even mean? why would you say something like that?! it' s really none of your buisness how anyone expresses their gender' (my voice got increasingly louder and more shrill but i didn't mind, cuz it felt so liberating to stand up against her about this!!!!!!)

and fuckin woman looks at me weid and then starts chuckling (idk if anyone feels me, but this whole thing hurt) and says 'Nooo no you misunderstooooooood! you perceived something different that what i was trying to saaaayyy! look, why don' t you go give it a look yourself, maybe you'll be able to figure it out!' and left the room

o m g . this is so wrong. her WHOLE sentence was so wrong. like, first of all I MISUNDERSTOOD?!?!?! whAT. tell me HOW i misunderstood, when you literally said that the way a teenager expresses their gender identity is something laughable, a fucking riddle for solving??????? and plus, as i said, I T I S N O N E O F Y O U R B U I SN ES S

and the 'give it a look yourself' part got me FUMING. like, i didn't ever understand how racist people see those whom they discriminate against as objects/lower beings and not humans. but to see it live. man. awful.

like, i remember myself having violent verbal outbursts defending gay and lesbian people to her since elementery school. fortunately it doesn't have to happen anymore or at least i dont need to get violent cuz one time about three years (or more? not sure) ago, i got so mad at one of her comments (judging the competence of a coworker by the fact that to HER he 'acted like a faggot') that i made my most dramatic outburst, referencing the concentration camps and how she should send them all in there and have them executed. shut her up veeeeeerrrry pretty.

but it had never come down to transphobia as well. and, im saying transphobia bc the kid could be a trans boy, a trans girl, a nonbinary person, a trans enby, but she didn't know. and she decided to make fun of them. and it means even more to me now than ever, bcuz i am kinda struggling with gender identity & gender expression. have been for a while. and to know that this is the reaction and treatment i should expect by my own mother is... something.

anyway. she left to go to the market and i got to meet our neighbour. she (learned name&pronouns) is the same age as me, follows the SAME SCIENTIFIC FIELD at school, is interested in psychology aaaand we exchanged instas to arrenge study & sea dates:) -platonic dates; we didn't have the chance to talk about sexualities yet and tbh idk if she'd like mz- and SHE IS PRETTY LIKE SHE HAS SHORT AFRO HAIR AND DELICATE HANDS ok ill stop. OK SHE APPARENTLY WEARS BASKETBALL JERSEYS I CANNOT-

after my adored mother returned i made her uncomfortable by telling her that i met the girl and also that i couldn't understand why she was so rude and judgemental- she yelled an 'ANYWAY' and asked me to pass her the fruit from the bags skskskskskskksksksksks REVENGE

My father has his own jeep insured in his own name.He has owned the jeep since 2005 and he still has it this day.He has a 9 year no claims bonus on it.He is insured with FBD insurance.His insurance is commercial. While shopping for car insurance, I usually use a fake name/address with all my real information (DOB, driving record, etc) just so I don't get a bunch of annoying calls/emails from every company I get a quote from. The fake email address I always use got an email the other day, which basically said that when they ran a credit check they consumer reporting agency couldn't provide a full credit history (not surprising seeing as they were checking on a name that doesn't exist). The thing that concerns me is that being only 19, I also don't have much of a credit history (the only credit I do currently have is a card I got a month ago). I couldn't really tell from the email (since I didn't read it too closely, I was really just clearing out the fake inbox) but I'm not sure if they were saying We couldn't get a credit history on you, if we had been able to, the rate you were quoted could have been lower or something more drastic like because we couldn't find a credit history, the quote we gave is no longer valid and either they won't cover me or will charge way more. I'm concerned because the email came several days after I got the quote. When I decide which company to use, and I get a quote with my real name/contact info and buy it right way online, am I going to get an email in a few days saying the because of my lack of credit they either want more money or are cancelling my policy?""
