english needs a verb like the french verb ronger. i basically thought it meant to gnaw but apparently it's better than that.
#whenever i encounter french speakers i say (in french): 'i was taught well but forgot it all and now i speak french like a caveman'#i said this to kyle's coworker from france the first time i met him#and he was clearly surprised and actually laughed and said 'non c'etait tres bien' and i was soo proud of myself lol#also yesterday i got to point out that somnambulist is from the french for sleepwalker and is also where the verb 'to amble' comes from#french class time for french french in action it's french o'clock#'omg nobody speaks french shannon shut up' etc
