#i read the novel last year and it was ... fine. clearly written by a man and i wanted to save both louise and mathilde from it#but just... fine over all. liked some parts. didn't like others. mixed bag.#but then i watched the musical and i'm just?? my feelings surpass 'good' and 'bad' it's just something else completely and i'm vibing#french musicals are just kind of Like That. good and bad are irrelevant. the only question that matters is 'is it a slightly insane?'#if so then i love it#except 'dracula: entre l'amour et la mort' that one can get OUT of here#anyway yeah hi i am sitting on my bed chin in hands kicking my feet like a daydreaming teenage girl and thinking of julien and mathilde#these two fucking idiots#i want to get my grubby little hands on mathilde and give her the same treatment i gave fleur#'welcome to the muse list mademoiselle here's your government assigned queer revamp'#||x sheer calculated silliness [ ooc ]
